Amazing location, highly recommend Acharavi

This hotel is in a brilliant location and provides great value. You are a short walk to Acharavi town and the amazing selection of restaurants, bars and coffee shops on offer. Only a little further from the town is the incredible beach with stunning sea and friendly and welcoming places to eat and enjoy the beach. The people at the hotel and all the surrounding area are amazingly friendly, helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend a stay here to experience all that Corfu has to offer. There were two main niggles with this hotel that I think you should be aware of if you book. As others have said the beds are awful! Really hard and uncomfortable - so be aware - it may seem like a small thing but can make getting a good nights sleep hard. The other minor issue is in our room (a one bedroom apartment) there is only one aircon unit which is in the lounge. Nothing in the bedroom - you can resolve by keeping door open to lounge area but still end up with cold sleeping in lounge and modestly warm sleeping in the bedroom. There are big positives however, pool area is lovely and quiet with no problems for sunbeds and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Amazing setting for breakfast, with plenty of tables and a good breakfast. Overall offers incredible value to stay in such a brilliant location.

The room was spacious as was the balcony. I room facilities were good with fridge, sink and clothes horse (handy for drying swim gear).
The WiFi throughout the property was excellent.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the pool was clean and spacious.
Breakfast was a little weak let down by awful coffee and juices.

The breakfast was reasonable and staff friendly except the manager. The renovated double bedroom was in good condition. The manager was unprofessional and unfriendly. The towels were dirty and stained. The TV in the apartment was very old bulky and have not seen similar one for more than 20 years.

Overall the property not to the standard that we had hoped for. The property seems to be run on a very tight budget which makes it seem as though the owners / managers are 'penny pinching'. The room towels appear old and mostly pretty thin - some delivered unclean. You have to pay to use the room safe, or to have pool towels, or a take out breakfast. The commercial toaster is not plugged in - the wires are just twisted and taped together to a hole in the wall. A cabinet and crockery are stacked in front of a fire hose box, broken and uneven paths in some areas, the room TV (1980's small screen) had 1 x English speaking channel. No toiletries provided unless specifically requested at reception, then very cheap watered down shampoo was provided. The property could be much better if investment was made.

Great little summer retreat

Very friendly staff, a good selection of food available at breakfast. Pool is great, clean and well maintained. Rooms are good, maybe a little outdated now but still clean and in good order. Position of resort is ideal with plenty of places for afternoon and evening meals, especially on the seafront. The resort seems mainly catered for Europeans (Germans in particular) so there is limited information on excursions in English, however the reception staff speak perfect English and can book the trips for you.

Century Resort Review

Positives: Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfasts, spacious and fairly clean apartments, nice surrounding location.

Negatives: Steep slopes and quite a number of stairs (could be problematic for people with walking difficulties), location cut off from main tourist attractions except for main town, expensive taxi fares, lack of regular public transport, lack of hot water at times, apartments could be better soundproofed, problems with bath/shower mixer taps, hard beds.

Poor Signage. Facility needs upgrade

We used the facility as a place to lay our heads for the evening. Spent most of our time on the beach and in the towns. Nothing special about the pool. Cafeteria looks like an old age home....needs upgrades. Breakfast was average at best.

OK resort, 10 minutes walk to the beach. Nice pool

Rooms are clean and relatively comfy. Beds pretty hard. By US standards it's only a 3 star hotel. Breakfast OK but not much variety.
Internet available at reception and pool areas only. Can be a long walk from room to check emails and such. Local beach with little sand and lots of rocks.

Century Resort

Stayed at the Century Resort for 4 nights. It's quite out of the way so we were glad we had a car but the apartments are a good base for exploring the island by car.

Didn't use the pool area but it looked clean and was usually fairly quiet. Breakfast was a bit of a manic buffet but the food was fine.

Apartment was basic but suited our needs and the balcony was lovely to watch the sunset. Apartment was very clean but a slight ant problem meant I couldn't award 5/5.

If you're looking for a good base to explore the island then this is a good cheap option and hard to fault for the price.

Fantastic week at Century Resort

To be honest, I would be trying really hard to fault this hotel. It is so beautiful and the staff are the friendliest people I have ever met. It is clean, the studio was spacious, breakfast was good, the pool area was lovely. Would definitely recommend. We told them it was our 1 year anniversary, and there was a bottle of wine waiting for us in our studio when we arrived. :)

If I HAD to criticise, all I can say is that I would have liked wifi in our room, but having it in the public areas was absolutely fine. You are on holiday right, why be able to check your emails 24/7? :)

It is a spacious resort that is well cared for and a good base for both a pool based holiday and also for sight seeing. There is daily buffet breakfast which is varied to suit most tastes and certainly family friendly without being too much about the kids - so a great balance. It is located just off the main road in what is considered the \"old town\" and is in very close walking distance to a variety of good restaurants. The pool is clean and reasonably large, and the area around it grassy and spacious.

Lovely and quiet

Beautiful surroundings, but expedia has this on its map as being closer to the beach than it actually is. Its up a slight hill too. Staff are friendly and speak many languages very well. Mosquitos were out in force but if you stay in 30mins after sundown you should avoid the swarms. Hired a car a toured the island - which is outstanding. The days we spent relaxing by the pool were lovely and peaceful. The pool is both crystal clear and well maintained. I would definitely come back to this hotel as it was well presented, clean, with friendly staff and an excellent buffet breakfast.
Can't express how beautiful the island and the people are.

We wanted a quiet break in the sun. This hotel has lovely apartments, a great pool, friendly staff. The grounds are lovely and it is a great setting. It is quite a walk from the sea but we enjoyed this.

I would highly recommend this hotel

The staff and residents made a massive difference to our time in Corfu. The hotel is very good and although there are hills to walk that is the only negative point. Everything else was so good I feel bad even mentioning it, if you can walk a steep hill to your room without it ruining your time, go to Century Resort, you will not be disappointed. The town itself has so many restaurants you are spoilt for choice, we found jour favourites, Theritas and Odysseus both of which had excellent food and really welcoming staff/owners. The excursions are great, choose wisely and be prepared to go with a mix of people and you can make the most of the beautiful locations.

Spacious, friendly hotel.

We stayed here at the beginning of May in low season. Hotel was pretty quiet, both during the day and in the evening. This was no different to the main resort.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and offered advice on places to visit and what to do during our stay.
The room itself was a large apartment with a big balcony.
Basic cooking facilities available and there was a selection of supermarkets within walking distance.
Main resort quiet, with many restaurants empty or with one or two people in. Plenty of choice though and if you have hire car or bikes there are plenty of nearby towns to go to for the evening.

Amazing hotel, great location, very friendly staff

We stayed at the Century Hotel for 8 nights. We have never been to Corfu before so didn't know what to expect as we read really bad reviews. The hotel was amazing, one of the bests we have ever been to. Very friendly staff, cleaners are coming every day, they all speak foreign languages. we only booked breakfast but it was great, they had something new every day and not just the usual buffet with English breakfast, boiled eggs, salamis and jam, they always had local dishes that I rarely see in other hotels. I would recommend this hotel more for couples and families as it's quiet and it's more for relexing than having a booze at the pool bar. Acharavi is a great location for those who don't want to go on a party holiday but still would like to enjoy good food and drinks. I strongly recommend the Pump House and Acharavi Park restaurants as they serve lots of delicious Greek dishes for a reasonable price. From the town you can easily reach the most beautiful parts of Corfu by car or you can book organised trips at the reception. We went for a bbq on a boat on the east coast and also rented a motor boat on the west coast. This is the only way to explore the hidden paradise beaches as lots of them you can't access by car. Overall we had a great experience and we will definitely come back.

A nice hotel, set uphill from the main road of Aharavi, with good pool area (lots of inflatable toys), pool bar, and gardens. Good location, decent breakfast buffet, friendly staff, great rooms. No towels provided by the pool so bring your own.

Yamas ! to Century Resort

After dropping off half the bus at other resorts we and everybody else knew we had hit the jackpot. \"You lucky so and so\" is what we heard stepping off the bus. Great Location 5 minutes from the Sea and 2 minutes from happening street in beautiful private surrounding gardens. Yamas !

Great hotel, lovely resort

Lovely hotel, 'studio' was enormous - lounge/diner with kitchenette and two sofa beds, bedroom with double and single bed, nice bathroom, decent terrace with chairs and table. Pool was gorgeous, breakfast was good, staff very friendly, only 10 minute stroll to the beach. All in all, very impressed, wholeheartedly recommend!

Great for the price

Great hotel for the price, the rooms are big and clean, ours with a great view. The hill is greatly exaggerated and anyone of normal fitness would have no problem. The pool area is great too. Only 5 mins to town by foot with a selection of good restaurants, the Pumphouse, the Lemon Garden and Acharavi Park are worth visiting - overall good!

Nice spacious apartment complex for family

Overall we were pretty pleased with this apartment complex. Location wise, it is not particularly close to the beach, being in a wooded area on the hill, good 15 mins to the beach over the coastal road. However, the beach is very long, and to the east you can get a little stretch almost to yourself! Water was warm and great for kids. Complex was handy for a variety of tavernas, worth the effort for the views and atmosphere to get up to the ones in the hills. Parking everywhere is easy and free.
The complex grounds are spacious and peaceful.Our apartment felt quite spacious with a large main bedroom and a rather dark back room which trebled up as a dining room/kitchen/second bedroom. The cooking facilities were pretty limited. If you were considering self catering, then meals choices may be somewhat limited! Good breakfast buffet - but maybe a little repetitive over the 10 days we were there and maybe would benefit if it was more varied.The bathroom was extremely spacious with a huge deep bath.Our balcony was very large with great views, but didn't feel particularly private as it was open to a communal side pathway.The pool was a good size and rarely busy but beware (1) there is only a limited shallow end in the main pool, although there is a separate toddlers pool and (2) if swimming underwater use goggles to avoid banging your head on blue walls.Our biggest gripe was the beds - LIKE SLEEPING ON ROCKS! My shoulders are still aching 4 days after getting home!

Bonjour endroit très bien le personnel au top spécialement ( Stella, Athena, Grecia) les chambres aurait peut être besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement, le soir dîner au restaurant au bord de la plage au top , peut être remplacer les plats manquants par un autre plat. Ne prenez pas le transfert partagé entre 1h 30 et 2h 30 le bus s’arrête à plein d’hôtel et arrivé au century il vous laisse au bord de la route avec vos valises!!!

Die Unterkunft war alles in allem sehr gut!
Und die Mitarbeitenden durch und durch freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Der Weg zum Strand ist allerdings doch etwas weiter und anstrengender als erwartet. Zudem ist der Strand im Vergleich zu anderen leider nicht besonders, sodass wir wenig Zeit in Acharavi selbst verbracht haben.

Auch das Frühstück ist ausbaufähig, sowohl geschmacklich als auch von der Auswahl.

Alles andere war jedoch top!

Hotelli oli siisti ja hieno. Aamupalalla oli myös pientä vaihtuvuutta mikä lisäsi mielekkyyttä. Ainoa miinus oli huoneiden huono äänieristys. Kaikki kuului ulkoa ja naapuri huoneista läpi. Suosittelemme kuitenkin hotellia.

Vi havde en dags ophold på centurey resort. Vi fik en 5 værelses lejlighed aller bagerst på resortet på trods af at vi havde købt og bestilt en suprioer dobbelt room. Lejligheden var kold mørk og kedelig. Sengene var elendige. Pæn reception , virkelig flot poolområde og nogenlunde god morgenmad.

Große gepflegte Anlage mit schönem Pool. Der Weg zum Strand ist allerdings weit. Alle Zimmer haben zusätzlich eine Wohnküche und sind groß. Unseres war aber dunkel, für 4 Sterne auch sehr karg eingerichtet. Der \"Fernseher\" ist ein Laptop- vom Bett aus gesehen sehr klein. Das Badezimmer ist renovierungsbedürftig. Unsere Terrasse war schön groß, grenzte aber direkt an die Nachbarterrasse, sodass es keine Privatsphäre gab.

Haus nur bedingt zu empfehlen

Saubere und geräumige Zimmer nur im Haupthaus .Umliegende Häuser die mit zum Resort gehören darf man einfach nicht vermieten ( viel zu klein- Kabel vom tv hängen wild in der Gegend rum - Alt und abgewohnt 1 Stern mehr nicht. Wie gesagt Haupthaus in Ordnung. Frühstück fehlen einfach die Brötchen gibt nur Brot- 3 Sorten Wurst und Käse 10 Tage lang. Für Leute die nicht viel erwarten vielleicht in Ordnung aber bei angeblichen 4 Sternen hatte n wir uns mehr erwartet. Für Gäste die Halbpansion gebucht haben gibt es diese außerhalb des Resort in einem Restaurant. Jeden Tag muss man Dazu ein paar hundert Meter Berg auf und Berg ab laufen. Auto an diesen Ort ist ein .Schlimm sind die Müllberge dich sich überall anhäufen. Teilweise starke Geruchsbelästigung.

sehr schöne, ruhige Anlage, Frühstück durchschnittlich, gute Lage und idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung, ideal zum Relaxen und aktiver Freizeitgestaltung Reisezeit ( Mai/ Juni)war ideal, viele Tavernen, ca. 400m zum Zentrum von Acharavi / 700m bis zum Strand Wahrscheinlich sind wir nächstes Jahr wieder hier. So eine grüne Insel

The smell in the room is awful. Housekeeping Service clean the room with \"old rags\" and you cennot get rid of this unplesent smell. Left tips did not change the situation...
Hotel is placed in quiet are, which is a big plus. Appratment is big enough for familiy (3-4 people)
