Amazing boutique hotel, very relaxing with great room, view, pool and breakfast. Away from Mykonos old town but only a 20min taxi or drive. Very nice quiet beach and a couple of nice restaurants nearby and food in hotel is excellent

My family and I loved our time at this hotel. Not only did we receive welcome drinks, snacks, and a complimentary bottle of wine, but the staff was always accessible and available to help. The manager, Stathis, was an absolute gem; he allowed us to store our bags after check out and provided us with a shower room and transportation to the airport. This hotel will make you feel like you are on vacation, and I highly recommend this property. Plus, it is beautiful.

We stayed here as a family, 2 adults & 2 teenagers. Location was excellent for us as we wanted a more quite time. Beach was a few minutes walk. Local buses take u to the local town of ano mera where there are loads of restaurants. It also takes u to the old port. The hotel itself was gorgeous, rooms were nice & clean with good wifi & lovely sea views. Breakfast was teally good. Staff were lovely and really helpfull. Would reccomend.

Great stay at this hotel

Extremely helpful staff, hotel was spotless, breakfast perfect with lots of choice for everyone. Drinks and extra snacks were a little pricey and not much around the vicinity of the hotel so hiring a car preferable which can be done from across the road. There is a bus every 1hr 20mins. Prices of Taxis from Mykonos town to the hotel in the evening are very expensive.
2 beaches close by and within walking distace, both have tavernas for drinks and snacks.
A mini market close by for essentials, the staff arent the nicest folk though.
A fantastic Italian restaurant close by with a discount if you show the hotels card. We wouldnt normally go into anything other than a local Taverna in Greece but ended up here 3 times as the food was brilliant and has a good reputation, being visited by a few well known names.
A fish restaurant next to the Italian which serves traditional Greek dishes is very nice too.
The walk back to the hotel at night is very dark and in some places pitch black, the road has recently been resurfaced though so there are no holes to fall down.
Overall a quiet hotel but would highly recommend if youre looking to escape the hustle and bustle.

The property was beautiful and the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Rooms were nice and we felt safe on the property. I found it was a short walk to the beach down hill but on the way back it is all uphill! Mykonos is on side of a hill. The view is unbelievable!

We had a very enjoyable week at the Anemoessa. Family suite was perfect, two adjoining en-suite rooms, lovely outside sitting area with sea views, breakfast excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, perfect base away from all the noise of Mykonos Town for exploring the island (with a car of course). Nice and quiet in the evenings, nice clean freshwater pool with plenty of loungers, pool bar etc. Many thanks to all the staff for making our first holiday since just before covid a good one.

A gem on the hill

Hotel anemoessa boutique is a fantastic place to stay at and relax. The staff will welcome you as if they have known you for years and they always treat there guest with a smile. 7 day’s stay - Juno suite

We stayed at the hotel for a week. The hotel offered us transport from the airport ( paid) which I would highly recommend as there is not many taxis around. The Juno suite was absolutely spot on what we needed with spacious room and little annex with sofa and balcony with amazing view. There was a good amount of storage room, iron with board and hangers. The bathroom was big enough for good size shower , toilet and sink. All the toiletries were topped up every day and whole suite was cleaned daily. The bed was spacious and comfortable, the pillows were too big and too hard but this is more personal choice. The room had air condition. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast had a good selection of food and drinks everyday. The swimming pool was a good size and there was plenty of loungers around the pool to have a rest either under umbrellas or on full sun. Hotel location was great with short walk to beach and restaurants. If you are looking for chill out, far from business and crowded places this is a place for you. There are two beaches available , one quite and one more of Ibiza style with music and bar. We rented the quad bike to explore the island. If you are looking to visit Mykonos town you are looking for min £30 taxi drive. The bus is only running 3 times a day and the bus stop is nearby. The hotel is a little gem on the hills of Kalafatis with amazing views and great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the stay and go again.

The most incredible hotel

As an avid traveler I have to say, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a hotel. I could not speak more highly of this hotel and would recommend it to anyone staying in Mykonos. The staff made my stay absolutely incredible; the receptionists Olga and Dorita could not have been more pleasant or helpful, and the wait staff Micaela, Michael, and Yiannis could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The food...absolutely incredible, although we did not meet the chef the food spoke for himself, he's amazing! The room was very relaxing with a beautiful seaside view and quant balcony. For a perfect vacation it is a necessity to stay at this hotel! The hotel is very far out from mykonos town. You have to either take a taxi or a bus. The bus only comes about once every two hours. A taxi to town will cost about 20euros. There is not much around the hotel but the beach is in easy walking distance. The room was clean. WiFi was fast. The pool was lovely.

Nice week away

Very friendly staff quiet pool area and a little stroll to the beach. Just what we were after.
Pricier than other Greek Islands but well worth going into town.
Wouldn't return but would recommend to others if a nice weekend / week away was needed

Cute hotel in Mykonos

We really enjoyed our stay here with our private entrance to our room, little patio and the bed was sooo comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. It has a the most beautiful view. It is tucked away and can be hard to find if you're not paying attention to the signs. You definitely need transportation to go to town or to any of the popular beaches. Breakfast in the morning was great, loved the little cheese pastries. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Pictures can't capture the beauty of this hotel. While it is not in the center of Mykonos, there is a driver on property that can take you to town, but that's if you want to leave ... There's a beach in walking distance and the pool was amazing.

Great hotel for a Mykonos getaway

Hotel was nicely tucked in Kalafati, a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Very relaxing vibe, rooms are great. My fiancee and I stayed 4 days and really enjoyed our experience. We got a junior suite which was nice and spacious enough. Traveling to different parts of the island would be easier if you rented a car or a bike, as taxis can be called but aren't guaranteed. The key selling point really is though the warmth and hospitality of the staff. From Mary the GM to Bill and Fany at the front desk to Giannis and Michaela at the bar/dining area and David the hotel driver, they all collectively made our stay a memorable one!

great hotel for couples

Absolutely loved our stay in this hotel, very clean, welcoming and has an amazing pool area. Breakfast was also very good each morning and included in our price.

Would definitely recommend renting a car/scooter as their isn't much in the immediate area (beach is ok and 3 restaurants) plus it is good to discover the rest of the island. We went to Mykonos most nights for dinner.

A family run hotel close to Kalafatis beach.

This is a lovely, family run hotel. The owner has been present for both our stays and the staff are all friendly and efficient. The rooms, typically Mykonian in style, are in small blocks set in very attractive gardens with lots of flowers.The pool area is also very nice. There is a good choice of sunbeds and seating with umbrellas and palm trees for those who like shade.
There is an outdoor restaurant next to the pool and breakfast can be taken either inside in a cool, air conditioned room or outside.
You can see Kalafatis Bay from the pool area and it is a short walk (5-10) minutes down a steepish track. Alternatively there is a longer route by road - probably 15 minutes walking.
Kalafatis Bay has good watersports facilities including windsurfing with usually reliable winds.
The food in the hotel is not particularly inspiring. There is a very limited evening menu. The breakfast buffet is reasonable but the quality of the food does not match the surroundings.
Restaurants are limited in Kalafatis so we often headed off to Mykonos Town ( 2 euros each way by bus or 20 euros by taxi). There is a very good choice - M'eatings is our favourite - we had two fantastic meals - equivalent to the best food we have eaten in the UK. It costs about 100 euros for two including wine - it is advisable to book as they fill up quickly.
The hotel is quite isolated and taxis are fairly expensive so it is worth considering care hire if you want to travel around.

Very beautiful scenic boutique hotel

From the outside this little hotel is very beautiful. Has very nice views overlooking the sea. The pool area where you dine is very picturesque. The vegetation around the grounds are lush. The hotel staff very friendly. The food was great. The only negative is that the rooms felt more 3*. The beds sheets were too small and the double bed was made up of two singles.

Nice layout of the hotel and only a short walk to the beach. We stayed a few nights and my 2 sons (16&18) had a room next door with a connecting door. Nice pool area. A hire car or taxi is needed to visit town (10 min drive)

Every bit of a 4 Star Hotel

I wasn't happy about staying 20/30 minutes from the Center but the Hotel and Staff made it well worth the ride. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The desk attendant went above and beyond to help with me with any information I needed. The kitchen staff asked me several times if I needed anything during breakfast and made sure I had coffee and something small to eat before I departed on my last day even though it was before the 830 serving time.

We found the hotel staff not very helpful and with little information. They were unable to have a shuttle bus pick us up at the port as all other hotels seemed to so we had to wait for about 2 hours for a taxi - they also had no information about the cost of hiring bikes or cars. The hotel was not worth the price at all. Breakfast was average, room was a bit dated and bearing in mind the hotel was really out the way there was no help with transportation. We found the whole of Mykonos over-priced - double price of Naxos to eat out and very difficult to get around with no taxis and buses which only run once every two hours. Would not go back to Mykonos or this hotel again.

The staff was very helpful and very nice. The morning breakfast was great. The hotel also has a shuttle which is very useful and is located in a remote quite spot on the island. The pool and property is really nice and again we had a great experience.

Nice hotel in Mykonos

I must stay that our stay in Mykonos started on the wrong foot. It turned out that Anemoessa Boutique Hotel is situated a good 30 minutes away from the center, and having arrived on the Sea Jets Ferry from Ios, we spent the best part of an hour looking for a taxi to take us there.

However, I must say that the hotel was a nice surprise. The rooms are very clean and modern. The bed is most probably, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. And the staff are very nice and helpful. I cannot but mention Mihaela who really helped us and made us feel at home at this hotel.

All in all, I would recommend this hotel, especially if you are not really interested in the city center but would rather spend some nice time in Kalafatis beach and its surroundings.

Fantastiskt hotell!

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse på NUMO. Personalen var otroligt engagerade och trevliga och a la carte frukosten var underbar.
Vi åt även lunch och middag på hotellet vissa dagar och allt var väldigt bra.
En trevlig överraskning var att de hade utomhus bio på kvällen, det var verkligen trevligt!
Platsen och hotellet är väldigt vackert, och läget väldigt bra om man vill vara på den lugnare sidan av ön.
Vi kan varmt rekommendera hotellet och längtar redan efter att komma tillbaka!

Magnifique séjour dans un cadre hyper calm et rare à Mykonos. Personnel adorable et aimable. Meilleure petit déjeuner jamais goûté. À 10 min à pied d’une plage incroyable et calme. Nous avons étions dépaysés. On a pas pris de voiture et c’était pas un souci. On reviendra.
