Amazing Service, Spacious Rooms, Close to Beaches

This hotels service was some of the best I have ever experienced. All the staff were not only friendly but the most helpful and reliable as well. Anytime my wife and I needed to book something, including lunch or dinner reservations the reception took care of it for us and gave us amazing recommendations. The pool area is really nice and having breakfast next to it was a nice touch. The rooms were spacious, eco-friendly and very clean. Could not ask for anything better during our stay here.

Loved every minute of our stay here . The staff were incredible , the breakfast options were great, the bar was fantastic. We loved lounging by the pool and the walk to the beach was very short . Our room was great and had a balcony as well, tho we haven’t used it much bc of the wind .

The only good thing about this property was the view from the hotel room. Hotel staff constantly barging in without knocking or anything. Left trash outside our hotel room. Phone was broken. There was construction going on so it was loud. Room was not as pictured. Very misleading. And staff treated us like second hand guests. This hotel is over priced anf and should be a 3 star

Set in very picturesque surroundings, this hotel has plenty of potential. Unfortunately it absolutely does not fulfil it. I find its claim to be a “luxury” hotel outlandish considering the following: dirty rooms (hair in the shower found on arrival, sickeningly filthy bathroom sink, thick dust on most of the room fixtures etc), bizarre behaviour from housekeeping staff (they walk into rooms without knocking - the person I was travelling with startled to find someone standing in front of him as he was using the bathroom. They also ignore “do not disturb” light and will knock loudly each morning at a time that suits them), the sparse choices at breakfast and the fact that each of the three servers had a specific job (you were told off for asking the wrong server for juice and the wrong server for eggs), the fact that the shuttle taking guests to the town centre ran only twice a day at 12pm and 9pm - with no return journey (considering how far the property is from the town, this is a serious aspect to consider. Plus they will try to pressure you into booking their private service for the extortionate price of €120 return), unsafe electric features (I have photographs). Saying all of this, I feel like the majority of the staff including those at the front desk, try their best to be helpful. I think this is a very poorly managed hotel and I genuinely resent having spent so much money to stay there. According to locals we spoke to, this hotel is know for being a letdown. Avoid.

AMAZING property! Beautiful view from the balcony! Leo was unbelievable....The shuttle offered was nice especially since it's 15-20 drive into town! Taxi roundtrip is €90 Euros so having it free was a HUGE plus. Leo was deserving of a nice tip dropping off and picking up! Coming back in September and will definitely stay at this location!

The hotel is located in a nice and relaxing area of the island. Before arriving, the concierge sends you all the different activities that can be done; staff and attention to detail are superb!

As an Expedia Gold member, I got a room upgrade to the honeymoon suite with the most amazing view. Nevertheless, overall, the whole hotel definitely isn’t a 5 stars hotel (pool area, restaurant menu, spa, gym).

Premium bedrooms basic small showers noisy air con above bed and patios overlooked and not private. Pillows too soft would expect pillow menu. Breakfast ok given the current COVID-19 difficulty but evening meals bland and uninspiring but no other restaurants nearby so you are stuck. Food and drinks overpriced. Varied service and watched one young waiter placing plates on a previously used table at breakfast then cleaning around but not under the plates!! Being well travelled not sure how this is supposedly to be one of the worlds best small hotels!? An ok hotel with a nice pool and views but well down on our list

We loved everything about this property ! Beautiful hotel, beautiful room, wonderful staff and amenities. Dimitri the manager was so kind and helpful. Our room was simply gorgeous with a stunning view from our balcony over the water.

We loved the facilities and the pool. We also took the shuttle van or house car to town everyday . The drivers and staff were wonderful. We took the city bus from town back to the hotel. The bus stop is very near which made things easy.

We were a couple having a romantic get away and it’s best not to stay right in the city. This hotel was perfectly situated.

We were so happy with every aspect of this hotel. It was gorgeous and we will be back ! Five stars in every way !

Most hotels in Mykonos are fairly similar - all have beautiful, very similar views. Most have white buildings with fairly similar interiors. So differentiation comes down to service. There was a tiny bit of rockiness at first, but the entire team from the owner Tonia to the concierge Maria to the reservations host Dimitris to the bellman and driver Roland and front desk lady Mary, all took things to a level of outstanding quality and experience. Would absolutely recommend to a friend and would return on future trips.

This hotel is one of the small but luxurious boutique hotel I've ever stayed in. I can not even begin to tell you how beautiful this hotel is. It overlooks the ocean. Our suite had a balcony that overlooks the ocean. It's farmhouse decor is very cozy yet gives you the modern feel. They have amazing restaurants which have great selection of food and drinks. Breakfast Buffet has a wide variety of selection as well. All the staff go above and beyond to make each guests feel special and comfortable. The location is a little isolated from the old port however for guests convenience they have 2 shuttle services free of charge at 12pm and 9pm daily from the hotel to the old port. It's also a 8 min walk to a private beach which has a nice upscale restaurant and a couple of nightclubs. The bus stop is also a few min walk up the hill. Hotel itself and the rooms are extremely clean. Very comfy beds and pillows. I couldn't love this hotel more. I want to go back there again and over again. Highly recommended!

I couldn’t have been more pleased with our accommodations. It was nice to be outside of the traffic and congestion of the town but to still have easy access to it along with the best beaches. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially with our one year old son. They remembered our breakfast orders and were really helpful with special requests, both for drinks and baby food. The location of the hotel is beautiful and the rooms have everything you need.

Hotel is nice, location is good, the room is good as well. But the service is The worst I have ever experienced. Staff is not helpful. They go out of their way to charge you money. Breakfast is average, but definitely not a 5 star standards same items every day. Shuttle is the worst I have seen. It only goes to Mykonos town twice a day and even if you ask to get dropped off somewhere else on the way to the town they will charge. They also dropped us to the wrong port after the charged us transfer fees which led us to miss our ferry. We booked the most expensive room with private pool, the pool was freezing cold and the staff didn’t care to help out. We were Very unsatisfied, definitely not worth the money I paid.

This is a pleasant enough hotel but it does not live up to the superlative accolades it prides itself on. Its promotional film and website make a great play of the awards it has got and certainly give the idea it is located virtually on a lovely beach where, at the least, it has a reserved section with facilities. That is not true - and would I pay the Solymar Beach Club 40 Euros a day in late September to use theirs? It was exceptionally windy during our stay, making staying on the beach or even by the pool rather unattractive; regrettably, there is nothing of any interest around, not even a tavern. We felt trapped and resorted to going out. The breakfast was excellent, our room functional but so minimalist that there was not even a mirror in the room itself, only the shower room had a half-size one. Room servicing was not fantastic, we did not get the double bed requested, my wife's 50th birthday was not acknowledged at all and they wanted to charge us the 15 Euros pp transfer rate when, the last day, we wanted to use the otherwise free shuttle to spend a few hours in Mykonos prior to our flight, stating that by taking our luggage with us we were using the service as a transfer. We would NOT return to this hotel.

Having been travelling for 20 days amongst hoards of tourists it was a pleasant surprise to find this amazing hotel. Close to a sandy beach which we visited for a swim every day. Luxurious room with sea views and very roomy and comfortable. Fabulous breakfast included best we have had so far. So much variety. Lovely staff so helpful, courteous and friendly. Just a great place to relax and recharge the batteries.

Overall a very nice place to stay. The rooms, pool etc are really lovely and well maintained with superb views of the bay and the majority of the staff are very nice. The food is okay/about average but like most places in Mykonos it’s ludicrously overpriced. And I mean ludicrously. Even the pool bar snacks are a take on - similar to Ibiza prices. They probably wonder why the restaurant is almost empty every lunch & dinner time but it’s pretty obvious that they’re clearly overcharging. Breakfast is nice but again, if you want a cappuccino or espresso (anything other than filter coffee) then they bill you for it, which is crazy! I know in this instance we are effectively paying the Greeks for their German bailout but only a matter of time before tourists will have enough of it I expect and look elsewhere. Be warned, there’s one particular waitress who hovers around like a wasp with a smile on her face all day and the management would be wise to get rid of her. Everything is too much trouble for her and she’s actually a job’s worth piece of work who gets well above her station. Overall, a nice place for a holiday.

There are plus points and minus points about this hotel. On the plus side the views are lovely and the staff are excellent. on the minus side it is very isolated and the only way to get around is by taxi and they are expensive or to hire a car and we were told the drivers are quite reckless.
I think if you are looking for a really quiet 3/4 nights to do nothing and relax then it is ideal , after that it becomes a bit dull.

We stayed here for two nights on a recent visit to Mykonos. The breakfast we had was quite honestly the best hotel food to date. There was a great variety of food and it was very tasty. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant during our first night there. The food was also very good. The shuttle service to and from the airport or ferry port was excellent and the driver stopped for photo opportunities and gave good visiting tips. The room was clean, large, and had a balcony with a great view of the sea. This is a hotel that definitely lives up to its luxury status.

Gem of Mykonos

As soon as we walked into this hotel, we felt right at home. We arrived early but they made sure to get us in our room a couple of hours early, was offered an upgrade but declined bc we wanted the balcony terrace view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You cannot walk very far around Mykonos so I would suggest a rental car if you wish to explore the island, There is a shuttle from the hotel but it only goes into town once during the day and once at night and you have to find your own ride back. There a few taxis on the island and it's a long wait to get one. We took a local bus. The rooms are comfy, well arranged with beautiful views of the sea all around, but the beds were a bit firm for my liking. The breakfast buffet was always fresh with lots to choose from pastries, fruit, and meats. There is a quiet beach about 15 minute walk from hotel down a steep hill, not crowded but kinda loud with blaring music. You cannot drink the water on the island, so recommend stocking up on bottled water. There are only a few restaurants within walking distance and they are pricey, would suggest going into town with more options. The resort is not close to town or anything so would suggest renting a car. We loved our stayed here and had a wonderful time!

Very Nice Hotel Close to Kalo Livadi Beach

Archipelagos Hotel is a thoughtfully appointed and nicely situated place to stay. Descending rooms down the hill almost all offer stunning and soothing views of the bay and sea. We were initially in one of the ones that don’t, but thanks to our VIP status, we eventually got an upgrade. The service was outstanding, neither sychophantic nor resentful. The food was also excellent. The breakfast was everything I’ve come to expect from good European hotels, and I enjoyed the one evening meal we took at the hotel as well (I recommend the souvlaki). (Dinner is a little pricy, as one might expect.)
Mykonos has a reputation as a party island. Most of the action is at a beach called Paradise and other nearby venues. Archipelagos Hotel is on the same side of the island, but further east, and was quiet, though there was some daytime music from Kalo Livadi Beach. Mykonos town itself was pleasant in the early evening; we don’t know what it was like later on. We took the bus to get there. It ran regularly, was cheap, and drops you off close to the hotel at the top of the hill and at a central location in town.
If we had one complaint, it was about the wifi. It was non-existent in our first room, and while we were told this was due to a problem that they would remedy, the wifi wasn’t great anywhere other than the main reception and dining areas. We noticed that others had issues with wifi as well.
All in all, we highly recommend the hotel, especially for a relaxing and unambitious getaway.

Beautiful Hotel with Stunning Views

My husband, mother and I stayed at the Archipelagos Hotel for a week at the beginning of October. The hotel was beautiful with truly stunning views, the staff were wonderful and could not do enough to help. The breakfast was a delight and set us up for the day. We had a few meals in the hotel and found the food to be of an exceptionally high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Amazing Hotel located in the best area of Mykonos

Me and my wife spent 4 nights at the Archipelagos Hotel and we had such a great time there. The staff, the rooms, the food and everything else was perfect. The hotel is located 5 minutes walking to one of the best beaches in Mykonos (Kalo Livadi). We've rented a car in order to explore the island in the best way. I'd highly recommend Archipelagos Hotel and next time me an my wife will travel to Mykonos we'll definitely book again this fantastic hotel.

Going to Mykonos? Look no further...

- Great service from staff who go out their way to help
- Plenty of beaches in walking distance. Head down the hill and turn right for Kalo Livadi bay, cheapest sunbeds at the Italian beach bar in middle. Turn left for a quiet small beach with unbelievable blue waters! Get free parasol from reception and take some of the pool towels with you
- Up the hill and turn right will take you into Kalafatis with a mini mart at the bottom of the hill about 10 mins walk, this is the nearest one to the hotel. On way is a car hire place which we used to hire a car for a day. In Kalafatis there are a few restaurants, greek taverna good
- Hire a car! You have to see a bit of the island even if it is for a day! We visited Elia , Panormas and Paradise Beaches
- All rooms have sea views, we were in 115 which was a great sun trap and view over the super yachts moored up in Kalo Livadi bay
- Nearest ATM is in Ano Mera about 3kms away. Go there for a great selection of authentic Greek tavernas at a reasonable price
- Use free hotel shuttle bus to go to Mykonos town. Leaves midday at 9pm, shame this is not an hour earlier as it very much recommended to go there to watch the sunset
- pool area is awesome. Always sunbeds free and not the scramble you seem to get at some hotels
- Although expensive make sure you treat yourself to a couple of cocktails. The Ouzo one is amazing! Also have dinner at the hotel restaurant a couple of times - the beef fillet was fantastic. Breakfast great too

Wonderful hotel. We travel a lot and this is the nicest hotel experience we have ever had. We were greeted with wine and chocolates. Everyone working at the hotel goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is what you want it to be. Great breakfast, with different choices every day. Beautiful boutique hotel in Kalo Livadi

Archipelagos is a wonderful place to stay located on the south-east of the island away from the town and the party beaches so is the perfect place to rest and relax.
The hotel belongs to the small luxury hotel chain and the staff, food and location were all fantastic!
On arrival you are greeted by the very friendly staff and an extremely tasty and refreshing beverage before being shown to your room.
The rooms have their own private terrace and we were lucky enough to have a room at the top of the hotel complex so the views were brilliant. The room also gets cleaned twice a day which was a surprise! Attention to detail here is superb the staff really go above and beyond.
The Buffett style breakfast, served between 8-11am, is delicious and hosts a range of food and local dishes, I'm a vegetarian myself and I was always spoilt for choice.
We hired a quad bike via the hotel receptionist for a couple of days to explore the island which I highly recommend doing if you're not hiring a car. It costs €25 per day (plus €10 insurance cover-optional, and we filled the petrol tank up for €10) so it was very reasonable.
The hotel also provided us with a free shuttle bus into Mykonos town, which ran twice daily, the perfect opportunity to explore the amazing town.
The hotel is also a short 5/10min walk away from the Kalo Livadi and Kalafatis beaches, however we found the better beaches are located on the south coast (quad bike hire is essential). There is also a mini market in Kalafatis.

Food and drinks are good. Amazing breakfast. Location is great and beautiful. About a 15 minute drive to Mykonos town by car or quad, not bad at all if you aren't going there every day. The hotel shuttle goes to Mykonos town twice a day as well. Beautiful beach a short walk away, but the sunbeds are expensive (30-40 euros). We rented a quad through the front desk staff - the rental place is very close by and they pick you up at the hotel (we ended up walking back to the hotel when we dropped it off).

Nice hotel near the beach.

Excellent view of sea from the room. Beach is about 4 minutes walk. Staffs were very friendly. The staffs in reception help others a lot and very friendly. Perfect place to enjoy a calm holiday. Nice hotel for all sorts of people.

THE HOTEL IS 15 MINUTES DRIVE FROM MYKONOS TOWN, THE HOTEL DRIVES INTO THE TOWN TWICE A DAY A 1PM AND 9PM. THERE ARE ALSO 3 BUSES TO TOWN AND BACK A DAY FOR 2 EUROS. A TAXI IS ABOUT 20 EURO. QUAD BIKES 25 EURO.

Perfect in every way...

We stayed in mid-May and everything about the hotel was perfect. This included the team there - from airport pick up, through reception, waiting and bar staff. The views and decor were breathtaking - white and blue all the way! And the food was incredible - the chef persuaded me to try the freshly caught fish and some veg I'd never even heard of and it was delicious, as was every meal we had there. The hotel finds the perfect blend between friendliness and discretion, with the team knowing when to chat and when to leave you be! Not easy to find that but they succeeded in it. The location is perfect if you want access to the beautiful beach and sea nearby (we went swimming even though it was freezing and it was still fab) and if you want to get away from it all. And it is pretty cheap to get around the island anyway so location isn't an issue (plus hotel runs shuttles into Mykonos Town). I can't say enough how great this place was - I don't often say I'll be back as I rarely go somewhere twice but this time I definitely will!

Nice hotel near the beach

This hotel come with sea view and is located 500m away from Kalo Livadi beach. Sea view is available from most of the rooms. However, it is 10km away from Mykonos town. Local bus to Mykonos town is available 5 times a day, where bus stop is 200m away from the hotel. Alternatively, it's recommended to rent a car/bike if you wish to stay here.
Room is clean and comfortable. We stay in a room with sea view from the terrace.
Wide variety and tasty food are served during buffet breakfast. Best breakfast I had during my vacation in Greece.
Recommended for couples who wish to stay away from hustle bustle of the city.

Relaxing hotel out of town

This hotel was a little bit off the beaten path, meaning taxi journeys home every night, but the shuttle provided by the hotel got us around the island easily, also the driver was an absolute sweetheart, and almost daily went out of his way to take us to different areas/beaches after his main drop off in the town centre.
The closest beach to the hotel was beautiful and sandy with crystal clear water. We visited in October however when it was extremely windy and found other beaches on the island were more enclosed and offered more shelter from the wind.
The hotel pool was small but did the job, with plenty of sun beds and towels available. Breakfast was simple but again did the job with a few options for everyone.

Attractive boutique hotel

We loved the style of this hotel. It - and indeed the local tavernas- showed real designer flair. the staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The hotel is built on the side of a hill which is something to bear in mind if that is a problem for you and there were no obvious facilities for the disabled.

The facility used most - the swimming pool- is particularly pleasant - cool and refreshing and with minimal chlorine. the range of beds and loungers around the pool was impressive and while we were there more than enough for the numbers wanting to use them.

The buffet breakfast is excellent and the restaurant very acceptable for evening meals although we preferred to walk to Kala Livadi or Kala Lafratis for the exercise if not the food.

In short highly recommended.
