The Royal was amazing. We loved it so much! Only thing is because it’s a full service resort it was noisy and a lot of screaming kids in the morning. Also it’s not super close to downtown/mykonos town but is very accessible by shuttle. The hotel had everything though, and was right on a private beach which was a HUGE incentive. I’d reccomend it for sure! Especially if you have a family

Liked everything about this hotel. The entire experience from the accommodation to the service is truly 5 star. They take amazing care of you from the moment you walk in to the property. The room was large, modern, clean, quiet and had an incredible ocean view. The whole grounds looks really high end, with nice pool, restaurants, spa, etc. Beach is in close walking distance and has amazing clear water, with sun beds included in the price of the stay. Free shuttle throughout the day and late into the night to Mykonos town and back. Valet parking included in the price. It’s a really great value considering all that you’re getting here. Had a perfect stay.

Our stay at the Royal Myconian was spectacular, I rate it 5 stars. I originally booked another hotel for a lot of money and my husband hit the roof. We decided to downgrade to a mid price hotel which made me very unhappy. When we got to the Myconian I was blown away, the property was amazing, very well designed, the restaurant was very good, food was good, entrainment was amazing, and the view was breathtaking. There are a few hotels on property belonging to the same group so we could eat at any of the restaurant and use the amenities. The beach was nice. My only 3 rating would be the rooms, they were cleaning and comfortable, but I was originally looking for luxury. The staff were all very polite and the managers were always around, hands on and very welcoming. I was super happy and did not regret staying there, we can't wait to go back next year.

We enjoyed a short 3 night break at the hotel for my partner’s birthday.

Everything about the placeis premium…. The room, the facilities - but particularly the service and the staff.

Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was delivered with an easy, authentic charm.

The pictures online do not do the location or the facilities justice…. The room, the pool areas, the restaurant and the spa were all exceptional.

We whole-heartedly recommend Royal Myconian, and thank everyone who helped make our weekend so special.

Very friendly staff, very good selection of food (We even had Procecco at the breakfast). The location of the hotel is very close to the beach and whenever you need there is a shuttle for the beach. Room was very spacious, clean and view from the room was perfect. The towels, the bed linens were very white and clean. Our room was cleaned and towels were changed twice a day. The swimming pool is excellent. we had the best vacation here. We would like to stay here again. I would like to thank all the staff (Reception, Dining area, Room services etc) again. They all made our stay unforgettable.

Everyone was very nice and accommodating! They originally “upgraded “ our room but it had a terrible view, an outlet fell out of the wall, the electricity kept going off when we tried to use anything and it was next to the parking lot. Come to find out it was the last available room when we checked in. They kindly moved us to a different, much better room (and not an upgrade) the next day. The food was good but they definitely don’t go off the menu at all and if you want eggs for breakfast, forget that! I was traveling with someone that is a picky eater, so that was tough. Also, housekeeping comes twice a day, so don’t be walking around naked lol! I would recommend a visit with Ordesta at the spa, she was wonderful and did an amazing job! We enjoyed our stay and would go back!

For a 5 stars hotel, we find the safe box cabinet broken and called 5 times about it and nobody addressed the issue.

The room service is not as good as a five stars hotel and they dont give complementary water in the rooms.

Nice resort but horrible hospitality and staff, cold and aloof, no welcome drinks , no coffee maker in the room but they keep on saying it’s a luxury hotel, the attitude they give you that it’s an expensive luxury hotel they make u feel like your lucky u get to stay in their hotel even though reality is they’re working behind the desk and we’re the ones on vacation , take ur money somewhere else they don’t know how to treat guest , for people to travel in this pandemic they don’t value that , another thing is the resort is too far from town and your choices with food is limited there’s a shuttle but it has limited trips during daytime and nighttime

Excellent care while isolating with Covid

The staff, room and amenities at the hotel were excellent.

Unfortunately I tested positive with Covid soon after arrival and and I had to isolate in my room for 10 days (extending my original plans). The hotel arranged for a Doctor to see me and also had the prescribed medications delivered. I also had daily courtesy phone calls from the manager checking on my health.

The friendly and helpful regular food & linen drops outside my door were all excellent. I can't thank the manager and the staff enough for the the care they took and I'm only sorry I didn't get to use all the amazing facilities.

As we arrived to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the Hotel chain upgraded us to Myconian Villas Collection. The place was amazing, where intimacy, elegance and generosity meet. The awesome view from the balcony, the unique interior design, the friendliness of the staff and the gorgeous chef pampered our senses. Will go back for sure.

Everything about this place was amazing. The staff is professional yet friendly always making sure all your needs are met and always with a smile. The rooms are comfy clean and offer breathtaking views. Excellent facilities with a lovely spa and gym. The food is delicious both the breakfast buffet and the restaurant serving lunch. Transfers to and from airport and Mykonos town are most helpful. I highly recommend this place and I can hardly wait to visit them again.

As we got there we where impressed by the front desk the way they greeted us. Easy checking our room was ready and we got escorted to our room for a quick tour, the rooms are spacious and very clean we had a balcony with a great view of the ocean, Elia beach is nearby but water was cold 🙁 housekeeping comes and make sure everything is in order ( very sweet lady) breakfast has is good with good amount of choices with a nice view, there is restaurant and and bar by the pool food is also delicious! But the water is cold! And wasn’t able to swim plus very windy by the pool that makes it impossible to stay longer and hang by the poolside, but have very nice ocean view, u can enjoy the jacuzzi if you wish, overall I recommend this place to stay if you ever visiting Mykonos, there is shuttle frequently that goes back and forth To Mykonos downtown.

Loved this hotel. They upgraded our room to the Utopia
Suites- which was phenomenal. My rowdy kids always got
smiles from everyone and had a great time. My husband and I loved the Perrier Jouet Champagne breakfasts!! Shuttles to the town and convenient. Would definitely return.

Honestly one of the best, if not the very best resort type hotel I have visited in all my years of travel. All the staff, including the house keeping service were incredible. The food was 10/10. Service was absolutely fabulous. Everyone worked with a smile. Housekeeping kept our room in immaculate order, pool was beautiful and food at the restaurant was delicious. The free daily breakfast was an amazing spread that would last you well through lunch. Although the beach was way down a steep hill, the hotel provided nonstop shuttle services in case you felt too lazy to walk a couple hundred yards. Shuttles were also available to Mykonos town (Chora), which is about 20 minutes northwest from the resort. The resort made everything convenient for its guests. Absolutely loved it and would stay here again!

Great hotel with shuttle into town

The Royal Myconian is a great hotel on the island of Mykonos. We stayed here for the first several nights of our honeymoon. The room was spacious and the view off the balcony was good. Could've been better if we weren't over a room that extended about 15 feet out and felt like it impeded some of the view. The downside, at least for my wife and I, was that music was playing everywhere you went... You'd go to breakfast - dance music playing, go to the lobby - dance music playing, dinner at the restaurant onsite - dance music playing. We could've done without that. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

We checked in for my birthday in a pool suite - expensive circa US$1200 a night. What we didn’t expect was 1. While my wife was in the shower (glass wall out onto the pool behind a key locked main entry door) to find the pool guy cleaning the pool while looking at her, and 2. The night before being stranded in town because the staff members refused to explain the pickup point for their shuttle or in fact any detail about their shuttle. “Ask people you can see on street where it is” - ie random people! That took about 4 heated phone calls and then at random we saw it driving away but caught up to it in traffic near midnight.

We complained to the general manager and he called us about 8 hours later - he didn’t want to respond in writing or on the phone but wanted a face to face meeting. By this stage we had had enough and were leaving the next morning.

He sent us a complimentary champagne and didn’t charge us for the burgers we ordered room service because we were so shell shocked. I then asked him for the final night we had booked (which we didn’t use) to be refunded and he ignored my email.

We then journeyed on their shuttle to the airport which left late and also which was death defying and also half the seatbelts were broken !!

Bad hotel. Bad staff and rude and not even close to being a LHW property. Bad people avoid!

Beautiful hotel. Excellent staff. A little over priced. Would have been nice if there was a mini market on site. Travelling with kids, they liked to have different snacks, milk and drink a lot of water and had a hard time justifying paying 12 euros for one kid to have ice cream or 3 euros for a small bottle of water!

Cannot begin to tell you how AMAZING the service is at this hotel. Included breakfast was delicious and an abundant amount of options.
Room was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view!

My only complaint would be the hair salon did a horrible job on my hair. Was quite disappointing because certainly wasn't inexpensive.

Perhaps the best hotel ever.

We've stayed at hundreds of hotels worldwide, and this is arguably the best experience we've ever had. The staff is fantastic and very service-oriented. Georgia and Alexandra made a point to show us around the entire facility upon our arrival. The morning breakfast is delicious, providing great variety without losing great taste. The beach is beautifully maintained. The property is exquisite - clean, modern decor while maintaining the Greek flair. We greatly enjoyed our spa services, which included unlimited use of the indoor saltwater bath, as well as the jacuzzi. The shuttles to Mykonos Town and the beach were reliable and punctual. Every last detail was considered in this hotel. If you're considering staying here, do it. We might see you on a return trip!

overpriced and commercial hotel

Hotel location is on top of the mountain and beautiful views but the rooms are very small and very basic for the prices they charge. You also get the feeling that since they cater to celebrities they don't treat other guests that well. The pool and beach area are beautiful. We only stayed for 2 nights. The check in was horrendous because I was very disappointed by the room I had booked and wanted a different room. The rate was close to 500euro for a night but apparently you get a very basic room for that rate and the manager kept repeating that as if that's their low end for them and only after showing us a few other rooms which were the same, offered a different room at the Villa collection which is part of the complex and over there, after paying an extra 250 euro, we were upgraded to a slightly better room. The check in process took more than 3 hours!
I felt the place was very commercial and not authentic or exclusive.

Beautiful hotel and accommodations, good location

Resort was beautiful. Friendly and hard working wait and cleaning staff. Close to Mykonos town and very accommodating; free shuttle to town and airport/port transfers. Front desk staff seemed short and pushy.

Honeymoon of a Lifetime!

This hotel is the ultimate experience! We stayed in Avaton, the newest experience in this multi-themed hotel compound, which features 5 unique properties, inter-connected on the same property! The infinity pool was to die for and the poolside service made you never want to leave! You have access to all the different amenities at each of the different properties as well as their restaurants. A free hotel shuttle service brings you down the mountain to their private beach, where food is also served. This hotel is truly an experience and only a short 20 minute ride (also on the private hotel shuttle) to the town of Mykonos, where you can enjoy the nightlife and shopping the island is known for. We will be back!

We were kinda disappointed in the performance of the staff. Lots of miscommunication or unclear waiting times. Room design was incomplete, bad ventilation through bathroom and toilet.

Nice place but mega bucks

Nice location a few minutes from Elia beach. Big spacious hotel. Warm friendly staff. Great breakfast! Stray but well behaved cats added charm. Prices horrendous! Worse than London! I jest not. A beer 7 euros.

Only a jewellery shop in hotel no other shops for miles. Couldn't even buy toothpaste? Not a lot to do at Elia beach.

Was told to \"up! up!\" from pool bar at 5pm by a anxious manager to make way for a poolside Jewish wedding. This made a lot of guest very angry, so reluctantly we moved to the jacuzzi area only to be told to leave again! Very bad to treat guests this way. Then I was told I was \"stupid\" by a barman upstairs for not knowing this?! All the other staff were lovely however, especially the bar staff/DJ.

There are cheaper/better value for money places in Europe than this. Greece never used to be expensive like this.

Best service possible. Amazing staff, very delicious food, rooms are clean with turn down service.

Anything you ask for is at the tip of your hands and the view is just breathtaking.

Bitter sweet experience

We've just returned from a 5 night trip. The hotel staff welcomed us and agreed to an upgrade once we'd asked for one. The room was cleaned daily with a daily evening turn down, the towels were also replenished daily. The views from the hotel were simply to die for. However, the menu was the same for lunch and dinner though the food was very good, It was very expensive with limited variety. The pool is ice cold, and the jacuzzi was not cleaned as often required! You could visibly see saliver, mucus and cigarette residue as gusts often smoked in the jacuzzi. We did encounter some very rude members of staff, one being an awful lady (Christine) who works in the spa who was incredibly rude. One evening after a lovely day spent by the pool, we returned to our room and while we were having a shower, a member of staff came to the room and tried to force himself in, which made us feel rather unsettled, we complained to the hotel manager who apologised but this experience did put a dampener on the holiday as we were nervous about unwanted, uninvited guests. We did have another not so pleasant experience - we purchased a bottle of while and only had one glass out of the entire bottle, brought it back to our room and it was taken when we went for breakfast. This happened twice and when we complained to the hotel, they refused to acknowledge this and said there was no wine taken. That said, the hotel is beautiful and most of the staff were pleasant and helpful. not in a hurry to stay.

AMAZING RESORT 10 STARS!!!

BEAUTIFUL RESORT!! I wish I could rate this place higher. Very comfortable. The staff is so kind and helpful. They have a great spa, pool, lobby. It's a very modern hotel. And the food is AMAZING!! The breakfast is soooooo huge! So many options to choose from. We visited a few countries on this vacation and this was the first place with a full American breakfast. You will not regret staying at this resort. I highly recommend Royal Myconian :)
