Our first room was small and facing the inside of the ran down mall. They put a giant poster of the Machu Pichu to cover it. They were nice enough to move us to another better room. The location is also not a good neighborhood, though it is close enough the nice part of the old town.

The lobby was always in the dark… need to turn the lights on in the lobby so it looks like a reputable place. When we checked in we were told to run the hot water for 3-5 minutes so it would get warm, That is all we got was like warm water. The breakfast did not have much to choose from. The last day we were there it seemed like they were short staffed and did not have much put out on the counter or offered to us.

Hotel provided early check-in ( for a price ). Which I was greatful for after a long bus ride from Nasca. Water pressure was excellent and hot, room also had air-conditioning. Great upstairs lounge area with views over Arequipa towards Mountains.

From the outside and the surrounding area is in ok condition and not that safe late at night, but otherwise the lobby and rooms are excellent. I definitely recommend staying at this property the look and layout of the rooms is better than well-known hotel chains around the area. Super clean and i have never seen a hotel with so much storage space. Loved the lightning and bathroom, which gave a spa like feel. Also the location is very convenient to numerous restaurants and shops and plaza de armas.

When I book a room with A/C, I do NOT want the temp capped @ 18C, I am an Adult and do not like being treated like a kid because you want to save a few bucks....Also the under bed lighting flickered all night long...Exposed wires as well.

The staff were very friendly, even allowed us to stay for a late checkout for free, thank you.
Breakfast was sufficient, with water, tea and coffee supplies in the foyer for free, although no milk!
We had the king suite and appreciated the couches for resting and stretching out!
Reception called a taxi for us to the airport, who arrived right on time.

I must say I was excited to visit Arequipa after my visit from Cusco region. However this hotel was horrible compared to all my stays in Peru. There was no hot water water. The breakfast was disgusting. The staff tired to help, but it wasn't enough. Not having hot water was horrible when it's cold in the morning. I shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes for luke warm water. It was also cold at the hotel at night. I think they were saving on heat. Just horrible.

I travel a lot, this property checked all the boxes, caring and friendly staff, elevator, air conditioner/heat (some nights can get really cold), beautiful rooms, rooftop bar, great location, etc.
I wished I had stayed there before on my previous trips.

Great staff at early morning check in, front desk and bell man. We were treated like royalties where door is opened every time we enter and exit of the hotel. Hot rain shower and big bath towels are wonderful. Definitely well done at the hotel with VIP service at all times.

The view from the terrace was awesome, but the bar was working until 9pm. The adjacent street is very noisy, but the hotel is within the walking distance to the Plaza de las Armas and every taxi driver knows where it is. Overall, this is a good place to stay a couple of nights in a nice safe neighborhood

Great service by Sergio at the door and luggages. The hotel is pretty and modern, it could use some more lighting our room didn't have any sunlight since it had a poster cover a wall or another building. Everything was clean, comfortable beds. WiFi is terrible I was on the second floor and it didn't work only down at the lobby or rooftop. Breakfast was good.

While the Hotel is renovated, some repairs need to be done. There are no exhaust fans for the bathroom, therefore ceiling paint is peeling and mold is growing (as a consequence). The terrace is awesome, with excellent views of the city. Another issue to tackle is that the shower has glass walls and water will leak everywhere (caulking needed, maybe something around it?). Overall people were very friendly and the service was great, the employees were very helpful giving information of the surroundings.

Hotel is beautiful, and staff are really nice. In particular, the doorman is extremely nice and helpful. My only complaint is that we could not sleep much for two of the three nights we were there. There was a bar right outside our window (called Bungalu I believe) that played music from about 9 pm to 3 am; they do this most weekends from what I can tell. It was so loud that we couldn’t sleep with earplugs and two sound machines (white noise app on phones). There is also a lot of street noise at all hours, but this is expected for any hotel in downtown Arequipa. The loud music, however, was maddening, especially given that most flights and tourist activities are really early in the morning. If you stay here and are given a room that is across from Bungalu, ask for a different room, preferably one on the other side of the hotel.

When we checked in, we asked for a quiet room. They placed us on the second floor, over the taxi stand and with a street light in front of our window. We were unable to sleep because of the taxi drivers constant conversations and other noise. The room also had no ventilation except to open the window onto the street.

Modern hotel with great rainfall shower head and we'll fixtured modern washroom. Rooms comfortable and clean with room safe. Staff excellent from doorman to barista! Yes, they make you espresso, cappuccino, lattes etc with your good breakfast. Excellent value for money. I hope to go back next holiday.

This hotel and their staff are amazing. We stayed in Arequipa for around a week. It was supposed to be a two night stay, but due to a medical emergency we stayed over a week. They were super accommodating, without even knowing our situation they were very flexible as we booked night to night stays. The hotel itself is less than a 10 minute walk from the Plaza de Armas. The doorman, Sergio, was always there to greet us with a smile and made us feel very welcome. The check-in staff, Marisol, helped us greatly with the uncertainty of our stay. Breakfast was great, especially considering the price. By the end of our stay, breakfast staff, Felix, knew our names and orders by heart. These three people really made our stay pleasant despite our own hectic circumstances. The rooms were always not just cleaned, but noticeably clean. Their modern decor is aesthetically pleasing and practical. They are very thoughtful in their decor, as instead of having a view that shows a staircase, they have a mural of Machu Picchu. Great stay! Cannot recommend it enough. Thanks for the pleasant time!

Hotel viza was amazing! It is decorated very modern and beautiful! The beds have a blue light underneath it which makes the room look really cool! The room is very big and spacious and comes with a couch and lots of closet space. The closet lights up automatically when you approach. The mattresses are also very comfortable and we fell asleep right away. The lobby is very nice and great to relax in. It looks and feels like a 5 star hotel. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They area is in a central location and walking distance to all the main attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel and we enjoyed every minute there!

The hotel is very nice and centrally located. Room was very spacious and modem. Front desk staff didn't speak much English, but were all nice and friendly. Breakfast offered fresh juices and espresso beverages. Some street noise. Great value!
