It’s a nice place, about 3 blocks from the Plaza de Armas. The problem we had was with the additional money they wanted. One is already paying an additional 10% hotel fee (goes directly to the hotel and other hotels don't charge it), and on top of that they wanted an additional 28% when we went to check out. Essentially charging 38%, so buyer beware.

There are many other places in Arequipa you can stay that are just as nice and cheaper without being asked to pay more upon checkout

Great hotel! Excellent location, spacious rooms and a lovely breakfast included. The staff even organised us a travel lunch to take us with our early flight from Arequipa to Cusco. Really enjoyed our stay (great views from the rooftop bar too!)

The attention to detail at this hotel is phenominal. A welcome note with my name on it, a good night cookie, extremely helpful staff. I also found the co-working area really valuable after an early arrival and later departure. Everyone was fabulous and kind.

Best place to stay for the price.

Since arrival the staff was very helpull, providing honest information and available options, the breakfast was also decent and i cluded few options even for vegetarians. Couple of nights we dine in and the food was extraordinary, including non traditional dishes, the trout was amazing as it was the tuna steak.
I'll definitelly return to Qasa Arequipa.
One little detail missing is the phones inthe room, but we just use our phones whenever we needed anything. Not every turist buys cellular services arriving to Peru as we did, so there may be some room for improvement.

In any case I should mention our host Dalia and Roseline were extraordinary, making us feel super confortable.

QASA Hotel has set a new standard for what I expect from accommodations in Peru. Great staff, but overall disappointing

We booked the presidential room 401. The staff are excellent and good location. Lunch/dinners great. Lots of room for improvement. Room had black mold &paint peeling everywhere. Breakfast very subpar. They give you 1 cup of coffee & have to pay for anymore and also none on the room. Won’t even give you butter with toast without extra charge. We stayed with another couple who had room 301 and said the floors were gross. Our bathroom window faces the stairs so anyone walking from floor 5 to 4 can see you showering. Likewise for anyone else with a room next to the stairs and we could see into all the bathrooms on floors 3 and 2 so beware of openers that could be watching you shower. See pics. We wouldn’t stay here again as there are better places

The hotel is close to the main square and most restaurants.

The room is spacious and clean but very basic and could use an upgrade. The elevator was not working 2 days out of 3.

The breakfast is ok but very limited and any modification is charged (coffee with warm milk is included but a cappuccino is not...). The restaurant which has great reviews was closed the whole time except for breakfast. Also, we were alone at breakfast and asked to close the doors because there was a drift and it was freezing and were denied the request so we had to eat wearing our jackets on the following days...

We came back from dinner one evening around 10:30pm and had to wait outside for over 15 minutes because the hotel front door was locked and there was no one at the desk. When someone finally came to open, they didn't apologize or ask about the wait and just went back to staring at their phone.

We also had another reservation here that we missed because of flight cancellations. We contacted the property to ask to change the dates and they told us they would get back to us. They never did and later told us in person it could only be done through the platform - so they got paid for 2 stays instead of one and kept telling us to contact the platform. Definitely not a client-oriented attitude, especially since the hotel was almost empty. Eventually they did credit us for one night after a lengthy discussion...

Its a great place, great location. Breakfast is okay. We tried it 1 morning but then the next morning we decided to eat out. Did not have a fridge to keep my childs milk cool or no phone in room to call the reception desk if any questions or help needed.

Book QASA!

I had an amazing stay at QASA. The location is unbeatable, just a few minutes to the Plaza. The hotel room was clean, nicely updated, with firmish but comfy beds, and faced an interior courtyard so it wasn't as loud as a room that might face the street. The included breakfast is also really exceptional. Will recommend to friends visiting Arequipa!

Rooftop bar had great views. Service was excellent with someone always available to help. Food was fantastic. Our stay included breakdast and there were many options. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and was the best food of our trip so far. Highly recommend.

I had a great time at the Qasa by Nomad Hotels Group. The hotel is beautiful and the patio is a nice place to relax. This hotel has a rooftop, I’ll suggest you to enjoy a beer while watching the beautiful sunset, it usually has a very nice view from the room. The breakfast was really good and the staff were friendly and attentive. About location, is very walkable I didn’t need taxi to go to the main plaza, visit restaurants, church or museums.
I’ll definitely come back to this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Qasa. We had the room that has two levels and we had plenty of space. The location is perfect and close to the main attractions and is perfect for a walkable experience. The two minor issues are that the room is covered in carpet and it may hold some little smell. The only window that can be open is in the room door (not safe) and in the bathroom which you should keep shut after shower to not attract insects. The food was great and the view from the rooftop was beautiful. The staff is great and were really accommodating. The room was beautiful with it’s arch ceiling and chic stone wall.

My stay at Hotel Qasa was an exceptional experience! The property is absolutely beautiful, with an aesthetically designed interiors that create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are incredibly spacious, providing ample comfort. One of the standout features is the amazing water pressure in the showers! The 24-hour service was impeccable, with staff always ready to assist at any time of day. The restaurant at Hotel Qasa, Indigo, is arguably the best in Arequipa, offering delicious meals. This was a plus since we had it right downstairs! The hospitality extended by the staff was top-notch; they were attentive and genuinely cared about our comfort. A special mention goes to Christopher, the owner, who personally ensured that every aspect of our stay was perfect. The hotel's proximity to major attractions made it incredibly convenient, and the comfortable beds ensured we had restful nights. Overall, Hotel Qasa exceeded all expectations and provided a memorable stay in Arequipa!

This place had probably some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. They were very helpful. I arrived early and they arranged early check in and breakfast for a small fee. Ok days when you have an early excursion they prepare a boxes breakfast. Every night a goodnight treat was brought to your room. The restaurant has a very interesting menu I’d you’re a foodie. Just a nice and comfortable place overall. I recommend.

Our stay exceeded all expectations! Clean, comfortable, and luxurious feeling. Food was A - we only had the breakfast but it was easily top tier dining every time. We appreciated a vegan option on the menu, a rarity in Peru. Fantastic location. We particularly appreciated the packed breakfast on days that we had early morning trips. Really above and beyond!

We arrived at 0600 and Emerson checked us into a room that was available, not my original booking. The room was fantastic. For a small fee we checked in early and got breakfast after a couple of hours sleep. The location was convenient, food was excellent. Would stay here again!

O hotel é incrível!

Foi disparado o melhor que fiquei no Peru, com um quarto amplo, banheiro e ducha impecáveis, além do café da manhã muito saboroso!

Detalhe que havia mini bar, o que não encontrei em nenhum outro hotel no Peru.

Diariamente o pessoal deixava biscoitos no quarto... Detalhes que fazem a diferença.

Está muito próximo a praça principal e de diversas opções gastronômicas.

No topo do hotel tem um pub com diversas cervejas, drinks e diversos tira gostos... Além de uma ótima vista da cidade.

Recomendo a todos que estiverem em Arequipa! 5/5
