The hotel is fantastic: I traveled with my two sons, both minors. The location has an excellent location downtown, half a block from the ‘Legislature’, a park “plaza Guemes”, and three blocks from the Cathedral. Extremely safe area, with public transportation and a gas station across the street opened 24/7.
The main museums are within a brief walking distance (Conoce Salta, Museo Guemes, Museo Arqueológico), all worth seeing.
Lots of place to eat in the area. Street with “Peñas”, folklore shows, Calle Balcarce, is practically around the corner. Supermarket is a block away.
Staff is warm and extremely willing to go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. They provided us with a plug for our phones, hot water for drinks, utensils if needed to eat in the room.
Pool is heated, has a great size, is very clean and it is available from 8am to 11pm. Great to chill after all the excursions.
Restaurant at the hotel is great as well and will save you from deciding where to eat once back from excursions. Book it, worth every penny.

Had a great stay at Casa Real. Friendly staff, nice property overall with pool and spa, and attached cafe was excellent. Room was spacious and comfortable overall, though our AC didn't work (fan came on but didn't provide cooling) - would have preferred it a tad cooler in the room but it wasn't a hot time of year during our stay so wasn't a huge deal for us in the end. Staff was helpful with getting us parking below the hotel (garage). Walkable to nearby restaurants, bars, peñas, and the main/central plaza, though we often just grabbed a cab or ubered (Uber is limited but does exist there, though cabs are well marked and easy to grab). Again, great stay overall, would stay again.

Property was clean. Room was nice, spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the pool area.

Took a 50 minute massage but it was as over in approximately 40 minutes. Massage was good nevertheless and quite affordable.

We were so disappointed with this hotel. We got on the plane in Buenos Aires to go to Salta but, because of fog, it could not land. They rerouted us to Cordoba and then they made us return to Buenos Aires (traveling with 2 small children). What made it worse, the airline did not have any available seats to Salta the next day. We would miss 2 nights of our 4 night reservation, which meant we had to cancel our trip altogether. I called the hotel from the airport once we landed back in Buenos Aires and explained the situation, and I was told by a sales person that there would be no problem on getting a refund, but that I had to go through Expedia. Expedia was very solicitous and said they would work on getting the refund. After 2 days Expedia got back to us and said that a manager at the hotel had authorized the refund. We were beyond grateful. About a week passed and we get another email from Expedia saying that, unfortunately, Marianela (not sure her position at the hotel), had rejected the refund. I personally called and spoke with her and she said because it was a nonrefundable rate, there was nothing they would do. She was aware of our situation but they basically did not care. I even asked if we could get a partial refund, but nothing. We thought it would be reasonable to get at least some money back since we could not use any of the nights. Unfortunately, Hotel Casa Real did not agree. Just be aware this is how they do business, which has nothing to do with \"hospitality\".

The hotel was well located near the main sguare. Good restaurants and cafes were nearby. It was pretty quiet at night The room was spacious and clean. The staff were courteous and helpful. We had a nice start.

Not a 4 start hotel at all..,

They missed my reservation , I had to pay again, next day I called Expedia after 1 hours they finally found my reservation , until now I'm still waiting for my money back !!! They were charging me a bottle of water from barservice just because they saw an empty bottle on my room .

Breakfast was average given standard of hotel. Room was relatively clean bar a few hairs here and there. Access to gym, sauna and small pool was convenient. Price is a bit steep but that seems to be the norm in salta

Very comfortable and very accommodating!

The location is 6 blocks from the main cathedral square, and 2 from the restaurant and nightclub area. The hotel service was so personable and accommodating, we really felt at ease. The hotel shows some wear and tear-- particularly in the spa and pool area, though the availability and services (including massage) were excellent. Decent breakfast, and good restaurant food at reasonable prices. Nice to have a separate cafe on site as well. The room was very comfortable, but somewhat plain in decor. Still the personalized and kind staff more than made up for it. A very good deal, and a very comfortable landing spot. Note: Residents all know the hotel because visiting soccer teams often stay there, so it has serious cachet!

pleasant hotel

I stayed at Casa Real for two separate 3 night stays. The first time I was on the 2nd floor. The second time I was on the top floor and had good views.

The breakfast buffet was good with fresh fruit, pastries, goat cheese, ham cold-cuts, yoghurt.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good. The hotel is located between the main plaza and the Balcarce street night life which made it convenient for exploring both areas.

I didn't try the spa or pool.

Nicely located in the center, but away from the noisy parts. Superior rooms are generously sized and very functional. Breakfast buffet met my expectations. Personnel was friendly and supportive.
For this type of hotel, a coffee / tea maker and some free water would have been appropriate.

A estadia foi boa, hotel é bom, necessita de algumas reformas, mas dentro dos conformes. Cama confortável, travesseiro muito baixo, banheiro espaçoso. Cafe da manhã padrão. Garagem bem apertada pra estacionar. Super bem localizado, próximo de bons restaurantes. Ficaria novamente👍

El personal correcto. No muy amables.
El desayuno está bien.
Al parecer, estaban haciendo mantenimiento en la habitación que estaba junto a la mía.
No respetaron mi indicador de no molestar e hicieron todo tipo de ruido desde antes de las 8 am. Normalmente me despierto antes de ese horario por lo que no me hice mucho problema. Pero...justo ése día podía descansar un poco más.

El trato del personal es excelente, las atenciones, los detalles. Las habitaciones, amplias, limpias con camas confortables y una ducha/bañera excelente. Nos toco la vista al Cerro San Bernardo y fue hermoso dormir con sus luces y despertar con ese verde en la mañana. Solo mejoraría el servicio de internet, que era bastante difícil de acceder.

Dispose d’un parking gardé payant mais prix raisonnable
Accueil professionnel ( merci à Loutaro qui a résolu notre problème d’impression de nos boarding pass pour le vol suivant)
Chambre propre et spacieuse
Au total un hôtel qui répond aux critères de ce type international
Rapport qualité prix très correct
Nous y avons séjourné une nuit au départ de notre visite de la Quebrada de Humahuaca et au retour avant de reprendre un vol pour Buenos Aires ( nuit intermédiaire à Pumamarca.

No soy residente en argentina me solicitaron el papel de migración de ingreso al pais, que en mas de 20 años que estoy mucho tiempo en Argentina y viajando por todo el pais jamas me han solicitado en ningún hotel y lo habia dejado en Capital argumentaron una historia sin ningun sustento ya que el control migratorio le compete a migraciones mas alla de la ofensa considerando que yo estoy perfectamente en regla.Descarte el hotel y despúes pude saber que el tema era por la devolución del IVA a extranjeros, cosa que no iba a aplicar porque no iba a abonar yo la habitación y el que abonaba lo haria con una tarjeta argentina. En ninguna parte del mundo me ha pasado algo asi e incluso en ningún otro lugar de Argentina o de Salta donde me he alojado en varios hoteles.

La atención del personal es excelente, así como la limpieza y la calidad de la comida y desayunos.
El personal maneja información sobre tours, lugares de interés, etc.
El hotel tiene todas las comodidades y las habitaciones son súper amplias. Es un 4 estrellas a nivel Internacional.

Cuando llegas al hotel, de afuera la fachada no dice nada, de hecho te hace pensar “mmm este hotel saque??” Pero una vez que entras todo se da vuelta positivamente.

El hotel está bien, un poco antiguo pero bien cuidado. Nos hicieron un upgrade de cortesía y nos tocó una habitación en en el piso 8, espectacular.

Es un hotel súper recomendable.
