The property is 30 minutes walk from the Brittany Ferry Port.
Staff are friendly and helpful, catering for special diets and answering questions about the area to name but a couple.
Decor is beautiful, based around a nautical theme.
Rooms are small, but contain everything needed for a short stay.
This was our second visit and we will return next time we visit Roscoff.

Superb position … with a room with sea view .. decor a yacht feeling .. room key quirky a real looking fish key fob .. I was only there for 12 hours for ferry port .. bed was so comfortable and very peaceful I had the best sleep . Short walk to the centre of Roscoff where there are a variety of superb small shops .

As per normal absolutely outstanding. We always look forward to our stay here. Only negative point ( nothing to do with hotel ) was offsite food outlets. VERY disappointing, Suggest you go beyond the centre a few 100 metres where you’ll find that they do actually care what they put on your plate and it’s better value. Creperie de la poste was good, just before Carrefour supermarket.

Great sea view from the reception lounge. Our room was quite small, struggled to find space to open two suitcases, and bathroom a little smelly but otherwise good - comfortable bed and spacious shower with good pressure. Dogs not allowed in breakfast room, no other option for breakfast

Super friendly staff, really helpful and happy to help. One lady in particular offered for me to leave my bag there whilst I went out for the day before I could check in. Really warm interaction and kind.
My only feedback would be to offer a kettle in the bedroom, and the shower water was filling up quickly/ clogged.

Hotel Aux Tamaris.

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning and at the end of our holiday, because of its proximity to the ferry terminal. A very nice traditional hotel and the furnishings and decorations are rather old and tired, but a great modern shower. Rooms were rather small, but just about ample, and we were pleased that there were hot drinking making facilities in our room (although we could have done with more decaffeinated coffee sachets) We asked (and were given) a seaview room for our second stay, which was nice, but it was on the third floor, so the wi-fi connection wasn't great. But everything was very clean, nice towels and bedlinen, and a fairly comfortable bed. William, the front of house receptionist is very helpful and friendly. We can't comment on breakfast because we checked out early on both mornings.

Good hotel in great quiet location

Great location facing the sea and a very short walk into the small beautiful town for a good choice of restaurants and shops.
We had a sea view room and the view easily made the extra cost worth it.
Free on street parking just outside the hotel.
Room was not big but it was adequate with good light and heating and plenty of hot water.
Overall we were happy for the 2 nights and we will definitely choose it again.

Another great stay the night before the ferry. Was lovely to enjoy a peaceful aperitif in the lounge overlooking the sea rather than risk the crowds at the harbour bars.

Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast and very welcoming staff. looking forward to our next stay.

As with the sign for the town, Roscoff, this is a small quaint hotel with character. It could be a perfect place to stay!
We were there for 5 nights, and for two days did not have toilet paper.
We saw a couple check in with a dog concealed in a bag, and have the room next to us. A day later another couple without a dog had that same room. We like dogs, but scrutiny must be applied to allow those without dogs to have clean, dog-free rooms.

WOW !!

Easily the best 3 star hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The staff were so considerate, helpful and charming. The nautical decor was charming throughout but especially in the room. A lot of thought had obviously gone into the layout and fixtures in the room culminating in the position of the toilet roll, no stretching or twisting but where you wanted it, within reach, under the washbasin, very clever !! The view was delightful. We normally steer clear of continental breakfasts but this one proved to be a feast, again much thought had obviously gone into the position of all items so although a lot of guests were there at the same time, there was no queuing , everything you needed was there, constantly being topped up by the ultra efficient waitress. Even my boiled eggs tasted superb, I consequently had far too much to eat. I challenge anybody to find a better 3 star hotel in France!

Superb friendly and charming hotel.

We often pass through Roscoff and after two stays this has become our favourite hotel. It is really homely, and has a quaint old-fashioned charm, but with all of the modern trimmings that we expect from a hotel stay. The service is exceptional and friendly. And the setting is perfect, overlooking the beautiful Roscoff coastline. The hotel and surroundings have a beautiful sense of peace and tranquillity. And finally, the breakfast was great. I'll be back!

Amazing hotel. We had a view of the sea and the welcome and service were excellent. Rooms are exceptionally clean and tidy. The only slightly negative note was breakfast. There were all the usual things, cheese, meat etc. but not topped up quickly enough and service was slow so a few people were complaining about things not being available. You can have the lighter breakfast for 7 euro which is coffee and pastries if you prefer. The location is STUNNING if you have a sea facing room. I could have watched the view from my window all night. Don't forget to go to the Thalassotherapy pool just 200 metres down the road. Cheaper if you but your pass in the hotel. Ample free parking outside.

this hotel is right across the street from the water and has parking spots on the street that are super convenient. the room was small, but it was comfortable for a night. there's no air-conditioning, but you probably won't need it with the sea breeze. make sure you realize that breakfast is not included.

We stayed for 2 nights, end of October break. Hotel lacked the nice touches and friendliness experienced 2 years ago under previous owners. We booked a room with sea view but rather disappointed to find it was an attic room with very small high dormer window. Jerky lift. Parking shared with local hospital so spaces not always available. Good breakfast.

We only stayed 1 night as a stopover to be up early for the Ferry. We were greeted by a very helpful receptionist, who explained all that was available in the Hotel, also the best places to eat in the area with directions. The room was small but perfect for are needs and the dog who was made very welcome. We liked it so much we are planning a longer stay in a couple of months.

Why I keep coming back here

We have stayed here on several occasions and it seems to get better and better. Rooms are updated but the place still retains its original simple charms. Staff are most helpful and are willing to try to accommodate your needs at any time. There are other hotels in Roscoff both cheaper and a lot more expensive but they don't seem to offer the same feeling that you are important to them as a guest but without fussing over you all the time. If you need them they are there if you don't then you are left to enjoy your stay.

We only stayed here one night and so were happy with one of the smaller rooms at the back. It was exceptionally comfortable and clean despite not being huge. It was sufficient for us as a couple and we had a great nights sleep as it was nice and quiet.
Really good location for both a walk along the sea front and a stroll into town for evening meals.
The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful and allowed me to practice my rusty school-girl French!
Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Right in the heart of Roscoff

We received a warm welcome on arrival and shown around the facilities. The walk up to the room is lovely with lights on the stairs and very tastefully decorated, a real cosy feel. The rooms are quite small but perfectly formed with everything you would need for a short stay. The only negative would be that the bathroom needs some ventilation, but it was extremely clean. The hotel is right in the heart of the town and everything you should need is easy reached from the door! Parking is either outside the hotel or there is a free car park just around the corner. Great little hotel and would stay again.

We stayed here for 2 nights to catch up with some friends and do some shopping before catching a ferry back to Plymouth.

Everything was excellent from start to finish. Polite staff greeted us at check in and were able to assist us with some questions about the area. The politeness continued throughout our stay.

Our room had a sea view, and whilst it was cosy the bed was really comfortable. (Please don't change the beds!)

Breakfast was really good value, plentiful, varied and very tasty.

This is where we will stay when next in Roscoff and would recommend it.

Alluring hotel with sea outlook

This was an overnight stop before catching ferry home but just as Roscoff is a great little town much more than a ferry port, so is Aux Tamaris worth a longer stay. It has a fine stone frontage and is ideally situated within walking distance of the town centre but set apart looking out to the Isle de Batz. We parked free of charge right in front of the hotel, were swiftly booked in and, after our long exhausting drive, were impressed when the proprietor brought drinks to our room. After a relaxing hour having baths - great to have a bath as well as shower - we went out for an evening in Roscoff, one of our favourite places with its harbour and medieval houses, enjoying a fine seafood meal. Next morning the buffet breakfast was available from 7.30, kept freshly filled with a good choice of fresh breads, croissants, cold meat, exceptional jams and fresh fruit; coffee or choice of tea. It was about a 10 minute drive to the ferry terminal outside town.

The staff was wonderful and helpful. The room was clean but it was very small for the price. Also there were no English channels on TV, so hopefully you understand French if you want to catch anything on the tele. The staff was also very friendly about us leaving our luggage so we could explore the city a bit before getting on the ferry, which was extremely helpful. Overall, 4 out of 5.

We wanted to bring my mother-in-law to Brittany for a couple of days for a short break and very much liked the look of this little hotel on the website. It totally lived up to expectations, it was immaculately clean, the rooms were warm and the beds very comfortable. The staff were extremely nice and friendly, attentive without being intrusive; the location is very good, overlooking the sea but a short walk from the restaurants in the centre of Roscoff, the buffet breakfast was also excellent value.

A big bonus for us was the small lift; my mother-in-law has rather limited mobility and would have had some problems without it.

Auch bei später Ankunft war der Service, Empfang sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und informativ. Unkompliziertes schnelles einchecken. Zimmer eher klein, leider ohne Klimaanlage, jedoch sauber und charmant eingerichtet. Ganzes Hotel ist sehr lieblich und à la Fischerhaus eingerichtet. Sanitäre Anlagen hätten (wie im übrigen Frankreich) noch Luft nach oben. Parkplatzsituation ist etwas schwierig, doch etwas weiter entfernt doch noch einen kostenlosen Parkplatz gefunden.

Hotel cosy face a une vue lee splendide

Situe juste après de la station biologique,
La vue mer sur l ile de batz est a coupe le souffle,
L hotel est un peu a l ancienne, mais cosy; un ascenseur mais petit escalier, ma chambre recouvrance 22, pleine vue mer, la fenetre ouverte, le ressac a rythme une bonne nuit,

A very pleasant hotel. My room was a little on the small side but I was on my own. Two people would have been a bit squashed!
