Ideal location just off the N12 with easy access to, or from, the Brittany Ferries port at Roscoff. Very basic motel but perfect for an overnight stop. Comfortable, large bed. Towels, shower/shampoo gels and hairdryer, secure parking. Friendly reception staff. Check opening hours as reception is not 24 hours.

Two very good eating places within short walking distance -Au Bureau (like a Canadian diner) and Hippopotamus steak house, both of which seemed very popular with locals. A fine layover stop where we booked two rooms with Nana, dog and child. Great restaurants within walkable distance - Hippopotamus and Au Bureau. The latter was very welcoming and helpful.

Cleanliness was bad. There were beard stubble all over the bath counter top, there were cracks in the shower, rusty towel warmer . The gate to the car park we were told would be open all night but when we looked at it condition,rusty you could tell it hadn’t been used for some time so not secure parking. This is a very cheap hotel, really for truckers and somewhere to sleep while you do not look too closely....Bathroom door had holes in it...walls and paintwork old and needed repair...very basic accommodation right next to freeway.

Last minute booking
We booked this hotel almost last minute due to a change to our travel plans. We chose the Originals hotel as we knew of its location and it was the best value hotel. The location is great, just over half an hour from Roscoff, minutes from the RN and nearby are restaurants and the hypermarket with petrol station. As we arrived late we had to use the self check-in, having not used this before it was really easy and we could opt to pay for breakfast at this time too but we opted not to. Our room was clean and spacious enough for the night with a decent size modern bathroom. There was a TV but only French channels with the exception of a news channel. The beds were comfy but could have had more pillows. We chose to have the breakfast in the morning, it was a little a bit expensive but convenient. Lots of bread choices, fruit, cereal, yougurt, juices and coffee and tea. Would recommend it and we've booked to stay in August.

Basically a truck stop type Hotel.Only good for a one night stay and a bit pricey for that. The room was very basic,no frills It is just off the motorway which is convenient and close enough to Roscoff but tends to be very noisy.We had to sleep with the window shut because of constant traffic and passerby's It was a good thing the temperature was not too warm out or the room would have been stifling.Probably would not stay there again.
