Great value overall, but expectations should be managed.
Dinner buffet was GREAT! Breakfast buffet was just ok - pancakes were delicious, but we didn’t like the watery eggs, and the coffee was disgustingly bitter. Overall, had a good selection of breakfast offerings.
Cocktails were delightful and they didn’t cheap out on liquor pours. White wine was ‘on tap’ but came out warm. The beer was good.
Lobby area was nice. Rooms were awful, especially the bathrooms - painted stucco was meant to look like marble…(😜) and the toilet area had an awful yellow stain that I avoided examining closer! The linens were clean however, and extra pillows were provided. But the beds were super hard.
The sandy beach and pool area were GREAT! Staff was AMAZING - very friendly and accommodating, especially Angela at the pool snack bar, who found fruit for our vegan.
Overall, it was good value with the buffet but the property was in need of a refresh and update.

Lovely staff, always smiling and ready to help. Great location, close to the nice town of Eretria. A clean pool and very nice beach on the property. Good food too. A very restful holiday, ideal for families!!

All in all, it was fairly good.

When we arrived, due to a hotel's mistake, we were placed in a very different room than what we had arranged.Hotel's staff was quite kind to rearrange that and relocate us to the correct room ASAP, 1,5h later.
The room was very thorough cleaned, even if it was cleaned at the last minute, as the re-arrangement was taking place. It was, also, spacious enough, with a nice and spacious WC, a big closet and great view to the sea (photo). On the downsides, I have to mention that there was not any in room mini-bar, as it was mentioned in the reservation; only a small fridge.
As we had selected the all-inclusive option we were entitled with a series of all-day free snacks and drinks, as well as three free meals. The free snacks (mainly, ice cream) and drinks were nice, despite the very small variety (no cold coffees except the Greek \"Frappé\", no bottled water, only a few specific alcoholic cocktails). The food was not so good. Most of the food was OK, the front-face baked meat was really good, but there was many options on the buffet that ware badly cooked, probably not so well maintained, or not tasty at all.
The beach was amazing, but its inadequate supervision has resulted to the quite rude and unfair habit of most visitors to reserve an umbrella/beach chair for the rest of the day by just leaving a towel in the morning.
In general, the hotel has great premises and many options for activities. But it is obviously understaffed, which results to less than the optimum experience.

Exceptional positive attitude of staff

Great. Everything was most convinient. The food was very good and there were different dishes every day. The waiters are very polite and efficient. During our stay the hotel hosted a group of handicap and it was admiring to see the effort the hotel did to accommodate them. The beach was great for our daily swims. The only down side is that the hotel isn't new and there were only twin beds.

Enjoy every moment

All in all was perfect from the park with the amazing huge old olive trees reach the sandy beach to the pool at night watching the sea , the food was excellent with very good choice of meals, the stuff was friendly and very helpful, I really loved my stay and sure I'll be back again

Very nice hotel!

Spent a week at the begining of August with the children.
Liked most everything: cleanliness, staff behaviour,facilities, the pool, the beach.
Had a quadruple room in the bungalows and it was nice and clean - a bit tight for the 4 of us but OK.
The other guests were most greek, russian and french. People was relaxed and enjoying their time - easy to observe.
They have a very applied team of monitors to help the guests with the many activities possible.
Great value for the money.

Very nice facilities, great food and private beach. Hotel staff very polite. There are two animation programs in the evenings: one in French and one in Russian; only the latter includes an English translation.

Did exactly what we wanted

We stayed here for one night as we had different changeover dates for our two location stay. It suited us down to the ground for that purpose. We were the only English that we saw there but that was not an issue (a blessing!?!). It was predominently Russian with some French and it was family orientated in make up.

All the staff spoke English and those arranging the daytime activities were particularly friendly. Our children loved the kids club and though organised activities are not usualluy our thing we engaged in the darts competition and the evening entertainment.

The 'bungalow' was in reality a hotel room on stilts but was large enough, clean and had air con that worked.

Overall we enjoyed our stay

Great time at the Palmariva

My wife and I just spent a four-day weekend at the Palmariva. We had been to other hotels in the area and decided to try this one.
We thoroughly enjoyed it! The room was very nice (we got a sea-view room), was very clean, and very comfortable.
We only had the buffet breakfast in the hotel, but it was nice too. The same thing every day, but a very big variety.
Regarding the comments that drinks are expensive, we only had a coffee each when we first got there, but 3.5 to 4 euros for coffee is normal in Greece.

We look forward to going back and highly recommend the Palmariva!

Wollten Urlaub in Griechenland machen, sind allerdings in Frankreich gelandet.

Das Animationsteam spricht fast nur französisch, angebotene Ausflüge nur für Franzosen. Für deutsche Gäste leider nichts.

Das Personal war wirklich freundlich, besonders die Reinigungskräfte, Service und der Restaurant-Manager Paris. Dafür ein großes Lob.

Leider war das Hotel insgesamt nicht so, wie wir es erwartet hatten: Die Zimmer sind klein, beim Duschen setzt man das Badezimmer unter Wasser und die Nähe zur Schnellstraße sorgt für ständigen Lärm, auch nachts.
Das Essen war gut, zum Frühstück gab es immer das gleiche, Mittag- und Abendessen variierte jeden Tag zwischen verschiedenen Restaurant-Themen (französisch, griechisch, international usw.)

Auch die Lage ist nicht ideal: Ohne Auto ist man ziemlich eingeschränkt, da das nächste Dorf weit entfernt ist und keine sicheren Gehwege existieren. Es gibt zwar einen kleinen Souvenirladen direkt am Hotel, aber ist eben nicht dasselbe.

Fazit: Wer entspannen möchte, braucht hier Geduld – das freundliche Personal reißt einiges raus, aber es gibt viel Verbesserungspotenzial.

Séjour sympa en Grèce

Séjour très sympathique avec une équipe d'animateurs au top. Nous avons eu la chance d'être peu nombreux sur cette période donc c'était très agréable. Hôtel majoritairement francophone ce qui a été agréable pour nous française.

Lage und Ausstattung waren sehr gut. Die Unterkunft war eher nicht so das gelbe vom Ei. Badezimmer sah aus wie frisch verputzt und Mitbewohner waren Ameisen (nach Rücksprache mit Rezeption wurde sich um die Ameisen jedoch gekümmert). Die Programmgestaltung war nahezu nur für französische Gäste ausgelegt und somit nicht wirklich verständlich. Zudem war aufgrund der überfüllten Anlage das suchen einer freien Strandliege sowie ein Platz am Pool jeden Tag eine Herausforderung die nur mit Mühen gemeistert werden konnte.

Τριημερη διαμονη σούπερ
Ενα πολυ φιλικο ξενοδοχείο με πολλές ανέσεις για τα χρήματα που κοστίζει.
Καθαριότητα 5 αστέρων.
Μπανιο στη θαλασσα με ωραίες ξαπλώστρες που παντα ευρίσκετο εαν πήγαινες το πρωί.
Τα παιδια στα μπαρ εκπληκτικά.
Οι ανέσεις του οπως χρειαζονταν.
Παμε τωρα στα βασικά που εμείς νομίζουμε οτι είναι.
Το φαγητο.
Ενας τρομερός μπουφες με πεντανοστημα φαγητά.
Γλυκά τρομερά.
Το φαγητο ηταν καλομαγειρεμενο.
Μπράβο στους μάγειρες.
Ειδική μνεία στον μετρ του εστιατοριου τον Παυλο που ήταν τρομερός στη δουλειά του.
Μπραβο του αψογος.

Στα αρνητικά ηταν οι πολυ χαμηλού επιπέδου τουρίστες απο τις βαλκανικες χωρες
(Ρουμανοι Αλβανοί Σέρβοι)
Πολυ φασαρία και βρομιαρηδες στο εστιατόριο..
Ξεχώριζαν οι Γάλλοι απο μακριά.
Κρίμα γιατί έδινε αγωνα ο τίμιος μετρ Παύλος.

Τίμια επιλογή για κάποιες μέρες.
Αξίζει τα λεφτά του....

Has been ! Vieillot, décevant.

Très déçu ! L'hôtel est vieillot, mal insonorisé, la salle de bain pas fonctionnelle (douche a refaire, parfois pas d'eau chaude). L'hôtel devait être très bien avant les confinement mais cette année c'est une catastrophe.
Niveau nourriture, peu varié, pas très bon. Le personnel est sympathique, malgré leurs conditions de travail.
Nous avons été choqués par le gaspillage fait par les locaux. Des assiettes surchargées jetées.
Nous n'avons pas l'habitude des hôtels clubs, ça ne nous encourage pas a y retourner.

Παλαιό ξενοδοχείο ανακαινισμένο.
Οταν φτάσαμε δεν είχαν επιβεβαίωση της κράτησης γιατί το γραφείο τους ήταν κλειστό. ....
Παρόλα αυτά μας εξυπηρέτησαν σχετικά γρήγορα αλλά η αναμονή μας άφησε ένα αίσθημα θα μείνουμε ή θα μας διώξουν??.
Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό αλλά χρειάζονται περισσότερα άτομα ειδικά για το τριήμερο του αγίου πνεύματος.
Δεν υπήρχε σήμανση με το είδος του φαγητού με αποτέλεσμα να μην ξέρεις τις τρως.
Τα μπαρ της παραλίας δούλευαν μία βάρδια με ένα άτομο.....
Τα πιάτα και τα ποτήρια δεν εφταναν με αποτέλεσμα ο κόσμος να ψάχνετε.....
Η υπηρεσία καθαριότητας για τα τραπέζια δεν προλάβαινε παρόλες τις φιλότιμες προσπάθειες του προσωπικού....
Γενικά είχαμε την αίσθηση ότι το ξενοδοχείο είναι να τα αρπάξουμε όσο μπορούμε...από τον πελάτη.
Στην παραλία υπήρχε ένα άτομο για την καθαριότητα των ομπρελών...
Γενικά έλλειψη προσωπικού συντονισμού ....
Κακό profil διαχείρισης....
Μέτρα COVID......ειδικά στο εστιατόριο μηδέν....
Παρόλο που στην κράτηση μας έγραφε check in 14:00 check out 12:00 είχαν ταμπέλες 11 και 16....
Πισίνα αρκετά μικρή παραλία συμπαθητική φαγητό στα όρια του ανεκτού.

μην αμελειτε τους ελληνες πελατες σας.

εμεις ειχαμε μονο πρωινο και βραδυνο διοτι θελαμε να κανουμε και εξορμησεις κατα την διαρκεια της ημερας αλλα και διοτι το πρωινο ηταν πλουσιο και δεν μπορουσαμε να φαμε τοσο νωρις.ομως οπως μας ενημερωσε το προσωπικο, εμεις δεν μπορουσαμε να κανουμε χρηση των ποτων κατα την διαρκεια του δειπνου ,αλλα επρεπε να το πληρωνουμε, χωρις να εχετε τιμοκαταλογο , χωρις να μας ενημερωσετε κατα την αφιξη, χωρις να ξερει το προσωπικο ποσο κοστιζει το καθε ποτο. δεν νομιζω οτι ειναι καλη τακτικη, διοτι το δειπνο ειχε ποτα φτηνα(αναψυκτικα, μπυρα χυμα, κρασι χυμα, χυμους, τσαι, καφε),και δεν χρειαζεται να διαχωριζετε τους πελατες. αλλοστε ξερω πολυ καλα οτι οι πελατες σας απο το εξωτερικο, εχουν μεταχειρηση πιο ευνοικη απο εμας ειτε ειναι η χρεωση του δωματιου ειτε ειναι οι παροχες του ξενοδοχειου.

Ξενοδοχείο ιδανικό για ξεκούραση

Ξενοδοχείο ιδανικό για ξεκούραση. Θάλασσα πάντα ήρεμη και ζεστή, πολλές δραστηριότητες για μεγάλους και παιδιά, ποικιλία και αφθονια στο φαγητό, δωρεάν και πολύ καλό wi fi ακόμα και στην παραλία, ήσυχο, καθαρό, ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό, μεγάλοι και άνετοι χώροι, αναπαυτικά στρώματα και μαξιλάρια. Πραγματικά το απόλαυσα. Κι επειδή είναι κοντά στην Αθήνα ιδανικό και για ΣΚ .

Άθλιο - δεν θα ξαναπήγαινα ποτέ!

Είχε δυνατή μουσική από πολλές πηγές (διαφορετικές δυνατές μπητάδικες μουσικές ταυτόχρονα) όπου μπορούσες να αράξεις - στην παραλία, στην πισίνα, στο γκαζόν, στο μπαρ κοντά στην παραλία. Όταν καταναλώσαμε τα μικρά σωληνάρια με σαμπουάν του ξενοδοχείου, αυτά δεν αντικαταστάθηκαν με άλλα την επόμενη μέρα που έγινε ο καθαρισμός του δωματίου. Η θάλασσα ήταν θολή και σε πάρα πολλά σημεία είχε περιοχές όλο με φουσκαλίτσες. Ύποπτο, μάλλον θά' ταν βρώμικη. Το δωμάτιο ήταν δύο πατώματα πάνω και δεν είχε ασανσέρ - διότι ήμασταν σε μπάγκαλοου με σκάλες. Κανένας δεν προσφέρθηκε να μας ανεβάσει τις βαλίτσες.

Άριστη εξυπηρέτηση σε υπέροχο περιβάλλον. Εξαιρετική η καθαριότητα παντού και χαριτωμένα events. Ιδανικό για ξεκούραση. Θα το ξαναεπισκευθώ. Η παραλία μέτρια αλλά περιποιημένη.

Η διαμονή μας ήταν ικανοποιητική, θα μπορούσε όμως να ήταν και ακόμα καλύτερη. Δεν υπήρχε καλή σχέση ανάμεσα στο money for value. Η τοποθεσία είναι πολύ καλή και η καθριότητα επίσης. Καλό πρωινό. Όμως μας δόθηκε αλλό δωμάτιο από αυτό που είχαμε κάνει κράτηση (δωμάτιο στον 5ο όροφο αντί για bungalow), που έχρηζε κάποια ανακαίνιση.

Dejligt hotel tæt ved stranden, et stykke fra byen

Vi havde et dejligt ophold, værelset var fint.
Mad og drikkelse var fint, men ikke overdådig, buffet 3 gange om dagen, ellers ingen mad.
Personalet var søde og gjorde deres bedste for os, med bla. morgengymnastik, vandarobic og andre vandlege.
Der var ikke andre danskere på hotellet, de fleste kom fra Romenien, Rusland og Grækenland.
Alt i alt en dejlig afslappende ferie i lav puls.
