Room was clean but had a funky smell. Don't know if it was the ac or the carpeting. Luckily we had a can of lysol in the car and sprayed the rug and the air conditioning vent and that seemed to help. They had a coffee pot with 2 packages of coffee but no sugar packets or creamer so that was useless. The place is old could use a makeover.

I would never stay at this motel again.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was terrible. The bed sheets and blankets had a horrible smell, and we had to ask the staff to replace all of the bedding on our very first day. The comforters had cigarette burn holes, everything smelled unpleasant, and the room felt dirty.

The bathroom was disgusting. We had to wear flip-flops while showering because it didn’t feel clean at all. The shower curtain was filthy and clearly had not been replaced or properly cleaned in a very long time.

The outside environment was just as bad. It appeared that people were living at the motel, and many would sit outside their rooms all day, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. On several nights, we witnessed loud arguments and disturbances that made us feel very uneasy.

We stayed here because we were attending our children’s baseball tournament in Cooperstown, but this motel was by far the worst part of our trip. The property is in very poor condition, lacks cleanliness, and does not provide a safe or welcoming environment.

I do not recommend this motel to anyone and would never stay here again.

Ok! As all other hotels/ chain hotels in the area were well over $300 a night I figured $139 was going to be enough. Interestingly I have three different reviews.
We are staying six nights began in room 209
My mother stayed 2 nights in room 217
My sone stayed one night room 254.
Room 209 was a disaster. The carpeting and bedding all smelled like mildew. Bathroom had a broken towel bar.
We had no refrigerator and the tub really needed reglazed. While we had 2 double beds we only had 2 sets of linen. Also said no smoking however outside between 209 and 217 people were smoking.
Room 217 was a bit better. No carpet just vinyl flooring ( great idea) bad tub again but livable !
254 we decided was the most ok! Less smokers outside ! Interesting when my some checked in and said no smoking he was immediately put on the far left section. The owner seemed to identify our first section ( 209 and 217) as smoking.
While there was carpet it at least did not
feel or smell damp. We got a fridge albeit a very small one and although the bathroom was updated ( floor and tile) the tub still needed work.
We asked to move from 209 - 254 the proprietors ( front desk gentleman ) was very accommodation and allowed us to switch rooms and so far we are in 254 for 4 more nights.
While all were nice they are REALLY STUGGLING to maintain a decent hotel. Also advertises a buffet , but seems to have not been open since 2020 shut them all down.

The lady at check-in was nice enough.
There were five of us traveling, four adults and an eight year-old child. I had booked two rooms.
Even though there were many rooms at this motel, we didn’t have rooms next to each other. The occupants of the room between us left shortly after we arrived.
There were no other cars on the property, and the only other occupants I saw were people several doors down from my room, with several people standing outside and a woman in her underwear changing her clothes.
The room I was in did not have a mini refrigerator as indicated on the motel overview.
There was no restaurant, it was closed, even though the overview of the motel and the outside sign said there was a restaurant.
Thankfully, the sheets on the beds were clean, and the mattresses were comfortable enough.
After a nearly 4 hour drive, most of it through the rain and then having to find somewhere to eat, we were pretty exhausted,
Then, in the middle of night, we were woken up by loud music blasting from a large group of people outside the room I have previously mentioned with the lady changing her clothes outside. I called out to them to turn down their music, which they eventually did.
In the morning, we left before checkout time, glad to be out of there and went on our way to find somewhere to have breakfast.

Rented 2 rooms for a 3 day stay. One room was missing a trash can, the microwave that was stated in the description that came with the room, and a towel bar near the tub. It wasn't a big deal, the other room we rented had all of these, so we shared a microwave and hung the towels on the hook on the bathroom door. The rooms were very clean; the bed linens and towels were clean and crisp. The beds were comfortable and they offered tv and internet. It was very quiet, very peaceful, the staff was pleasant and cheerful. Overall, we had a very pleasant weekend getaway.

The room was the worst I have ever stayed in. It smelled musty, rugs stained, the bathroom was gross. Mold and outdated tub that was peeling. There was no hot water at all in the morning. Too cold to take a shower. The wall paper was peeling back on the walls. I will never stay there again!

Very small motel. We only spent a night there. Room had a funky smell, bathroom had mold, as well as the curtain in there. No ventilation in the bathroom. I supposed you get what you paid for. I don’t think I would stay there again.

The hotel itself was dirty. The check-in office was disheveled and unclean. The room had a bleached rug. The bedsheets appear to be clean. The mattress actually was comfortable and the pillows were very comfortable, but I woke up to find a huge centipede, crawling down the wall over my head, followed by a huge moth flying around the room. I checked out after one night. I have to say they were nice enough to refund the balance of my stay.

The air conditioner was old and made a lot of noise but still worked. The blanket and sheets had stains but were clean but still bothered me. The pillows were flat but luckily, I brought my own. We only stayed for one night so we could see my daughter graduate from college. The beds were comfortable and worked for the night. For the price it wasn't bad.

At check-in, there was a dirty hair brush on the counter. The guy behind the desk, didn’t even know it was there. My family and I got to the room and were disgusted. The blankets had stains all over them, there was mold on the ceiling, and the walls were dirty. Needless to say, we ended up not staying there and took a loss, as the hotel does not offer refunds.

While the property has obviously been updated recently we were not happy with our stay. The clerk at check in didn’t know if coffee was available in the morning and we were charged a $50 damage deposit that was not mentioned until check in. In the morning we were surprised to find no hot water in the shower!!! NONE!! And there was no one in the office to talk to even when we checked out a little after 8:00 AM. We will not be back. Very poor customer service!

This was exactly what I expected from an older motel. It smelled like cigarettes and the carpets are old. The shower is old, the linens are old, but everything is clean. The service was ok, we didn’t need much and we only stayed one night. If you need a quiet and clean place to stay at a reasonable cost $106 (tax and service charge included) this is the place for you.

Worked out great giving me, a father, a place to stay while my son played at Cooperstown Allstar Village 3 minutes away. I did not try their restaurant.

No help for non-working toilet

We were so excited to watch our grandson play at Cooperstown All-Star Park so we booked a room in the closest motel to the park. When we opened the door to the room, I needed to turn on the and leave the door open because of the smell. I looked around and realized this was a very poorly maintained room. This proved to be very true when on the second night there, the toilet clogged up and completely stopped working. We tried calling and knocking on the office door that night, but no answer. In the morning, we had to go down the street to use the facilities at a business. Again, we tried calling the office and knocking on the door. While we were at the All-Star Park, I tried calling again. Finally, an answer! I was told the office doesn't open until 9:00 a.m. So, if you have anything go wrong in your room, make sure it happens between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. I asked the motel representative how they were going to make this up to us and she just blew me off.It's a good thing every other part of our visit to the Cooperstown All-Star Village was so fabulous! The motel fiasco didn't dampen our fun because we're just that kind of people!

First thing I did was check for bedbugs. It was old and grimy. The A/C did not work. The TV only got news and Home Shopping Network. It was a non smoking room but it was definitely smoked in. It smelled like an ashtray. Only good thing was the price but after staying I would have paid triple somewhere else. Do not recommend!!!

If there was a way to leave no stars we would have. This was a scene from a horror movie. I booked this for my husband and son and they arrived late to stay only one night before their reservations at the fields started and it was the only available hotel next to the baseball field. Didn't look too awful online but knew it wasn't going to be the nicest either. It was beyond bad. Sleeping in a car would have been a far better option. I can not believe I paid to stay there. You could not pay us to stay there again, don't be fooled, make the trip to stay somewhere better.

This motel and it's staff is quite possibly the worst place I've ever booked on hotels.com
They advertised the rooms had phones. They did not. We had to put our family member there in an emergency situation (he doesn't have a cell phone) because his home was no longer safe for him. the room dingy, no working phone, and when asked to move to another room was told none of the phones worked anymore.
The person my brother-in-law spoke to said he couldn't do anything because there was no manager on duty. I called and spoke with a ditzy woman who said the same. I tried calling the next day (a Monday) and got no answer. Hotels.com tried to reach them and got no answer. I'm out $360.24 now because he didn't stay; he couldn't stay. This is more like a No Tell-Motel than anything. Rude staff, unhelpful, and I want my money back as they misrepresented themselves on the website. I pay for services offered, not what they say they do, but don't offer. We had no choice but to house him there for the night, but he didn't feel safe, at all. He is elderly, and was in a terribly vunerable position that weekend. Shame on this Motel and its staff. DO NOT STAY AT THIS CRAP MOTEL. Pitch a tent before you stay here. hotels.com should remove them from the site. They do not belong on this website.

Overall the stay was ok. The room was clean and looked to have been serviced prior to check in. Check in was relatively easy although the motel is a bit dated. The price was a little high for what it was. $79/night would be more realistic for what it is I think. My only issues were 1) there was a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee or tea or creamers/sugar etc. to use. 2) the phone had wifi networks and passwords listed but these were not the networks available, I had to get that info from the front office, and 3) there was a line of mold on the far wall extending from the ceiling towards the floor, running along the seam in the wallpaper. This should be looked into as it could become a health concern if left unchecked. Other than that, the stay was fine for what it was: solo traveler in town 1 night for a conference at SUNY Oneonta.
