Lovely hotel attentive staff beautiful grounds however no air conditioning and no fans meant the rooms were sweltering which made sleep very difficult. I would give it 5 stars all round were it not for that.

A lovely building with very friendly, efficient and helpful staff. My room was spacious, quiet and with lovely views over the garden, and the bathroom was very clean and well-equipped. The 2 restaurants give a good choice of meals. A great hotel and I will definitely stay here again.

Gates locked when we finally arrived. No sign on pillars except private property.
Called Chateau du Perray - not Manoir du Perray so we were unsure if it was correct place.
Texted and tried to call to say we would be arriving at 9pm. No response.
Had to open white gate (difficult) and find our way up to house. No code number given to us to get in.
No answer. Tooted our horn until lights came on and finally a man opened the door.
Told us to go around the other side of the bldg.!
Said phone on Expedia website had been stolen and they had sent us a email.
We found this on our return to the UK (sent on 28th after we had left).
Had our mobile number so should have texted or called us.
Breakfast not particularly good - croissants like concrete (not fresh).
Morning staff did try to explain but by then too late for us.
Would not use it again.

Beautiful hotel and staff. Very friendly. Wish we had had more time to enjoy all the amenities. Our only drawback was we were on the top floor of the adjacent bldg, with no a/c and the room was quite warm. Also, in the shower area the \"modern\" single light was too dim to make up one's face. Other than that, it was a lovely place and we would stay there again.

I had arrived the train station around 10pm, did not see any taxi in the station.
Called the hotel to send me the taxi, but the gentleman who picked up the phone, came to pick me up to the train station since it was late night and it will be a long wait for call taxi.

Delightful stay. Combination of Europe-Quaint and Modern. Centrally located in Laval on pleasant grounds. Excellent, attentive staff service. (There were no available taxis, so the desk manager drove us to the train station!) Superb restaurant.

Amazing place! Recently renovated but in an ancient building, so the best of both worlds. The biggest bathtub I have ever seen. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. The town is really sweet and has several nice places to see. There is a pool, but the minimum depth is unsuitable for a small kid that can't swim (1.5m I think). Really a treat. My wife, who has traveled all over the world rates it as one of her top 5 hotels.

Assez déçu par rapport aux critiques et au classement de l'hôtel. La moquette de la chambre était dans un sale état (énorme tache) robinet de salle de bain abîmé, table également... pas acceptable pour un hôtel de cette catégorie.
Pas de machine à café, pas de minibar, pas de chaussons. Ça ne mérite pas 4*. Personnel accueillant, pas de problème de ce côté.

Je fais une réservation par hotels.com pour le soir même en précisant qu'il me faudrait un lit bébé. Mauvaise surprise lorsque je reçois un mail me précisant que c'est 10€ en plus alors que tous les autres hôtels que j'ai pu faire le font gratuitement. De plus, il n'y avait aucune précision dans l'offre de la chambre.
C'était la seule mauvaise surprise. Tout le reste était parfait. L'hotel est top, le parking dans la cour est très appréciable après un long trajet. Accueil avec un grand sourire. La personne de l'accueil nous a surclassé avec l'élégance de ne pas nous le faire remarquer :-). Ca compense les 10€.

Le confort de notre suite n’était pas au top , un fauteuil de plus aurait été bien ainsi qu’un petit coffre , une penderie dans la chambre mais pas d’étagères il faut aller dans la salle de bain pour trouver des planches de bois et cette dernière n’est pas fonctionnel du tout car rien pour poser nos produits de toilette quand au produits fournis par l’hôtel, alors là on n’en Parles même pas... je n’y retournerai pas
