I stay at the Coos because it is not far from my son's house. I go to visit from MA a couple times a year b/c it is a long drive to do in 1 day. The Inn is always clean and feels safe. There is plenty of parking. They do offer a minimal breakfast in which I do not participate. I don't have a pet but know that they allow pets for a fee. I have never run into a pet on any of my stays.

When I visit , I stay here. It’s in town, grocery store next to it. The town has more businesses opening up, which is great to see. The staff is helpful and if you are friendly with them they are friendly with you.

My biggest concern was the cost. For a very small room, $184.00 is too much. Shower was a little dirty. Otherwise, the room was clean. It was confusing to turn on the heat and there were no instructions. Breakfast was fairly meh. Coffee was flat-out terrible. Again, had the cost been reasonable, I might not have some of these complaints.

Ok, for one night, there is a better one close by.

The check in/check out was quick and easy. The clerk was pleasant. There were very few breakfast options, which was disappointing.
There were two types of cereal, a small bin of munchkins/donut holes and a few mini muffins. There was 1 type of coffee, tea, cocoa. There were 2 vending machines one for soda and one for snacks. The soda machine was out of order and there were very few snacks in a large size vending machine. The beds were small and quite uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and useless. The rooms are very small. The a/c unit didn't stay on all night like it was set up to do. I gave up, no one at front desk after 10:00p.m.The end cost was $10.00 more than quoted on date of booking as well. I will more than likely NOT stay here again. I stayed at a different hotel on my last two visits to Lancaster and it was much nicer and just down the street from this hotel. I will go back to that hotel, not this one. Prices are comparable and no surprise extra fee at that hotel.

Breakfast here is pretty minimal, but they do say it's a continental breakfast, & you can get a standard meal just across the street. Grocery store right next door & gas stations are nearby.

Room seemed clean except the vent fan in the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years.
Eving staff was friendly and pleasant. Morning staff was not friendly at all and was rude when we asked for food to be replenished at the breakfast bar. Continental breakfast was sparse to start. Charge of $80 for one pet was ridiculous. Poor value for the money.

I didn’t realize if you stay more than one day they do not come and clean room. I had to go to front desk to ask for more toilet paper. I believe the owners checked us in and were very pleasant. However, today when we went to check out the lady behind the desk was eating her breakfast and she was aggravated because we disrupted her to give her our key.

Room was dirty sheets was covered in hair shower wasn't cleaned toilet moved and wasnt attached to the floor ,was a stay for two adults and had only one set of towels. Ac didnt even work even with the typed out instructions. Was staying one night for the fair definitely dont wanna stay here again. Went to check in my key with my last name was left on the counter and said to check in the next morning to sign paperwork.

I made this reservation and not knowing that we needed to move further upstate beyond this property in order to get to the historical building to trace my ancestors. I made the reservation at 8:40 and wanted to cancel 12:30. They said I needed to give a 48 hour notice. This wasn’t possible since there wasn’t enough time. They wouldn’t listen to anything I said. Expedia even tried to call for me.

The housekeeper/front desk lady that worked in the morning was rude. My husband tried to pay for the room around 10am and knew he wouldn't be able to check in / get into the room until 2... the lady was very rude and curt with him. She asked about the credit card number that I used to create the reservation and Jason said he wanted to use his credit card, which was is on the same account. He said he wanted to pay for Saturday and Sunday and she snapped saying \"I KNOW that...\" Really??
The \"breakfast included\" was a joke. Cereal. That's it. No eggs, no protein/meat. No fruit, apples, bananas...
Monday morning there was a some powdered donut holes that were STALE.

The front desk lady that worked in the afternoon/evening was very nice. The key kept dying and she would laugh when he had to go to the front desk to get it reprogrammed again. He had to get it programmed 5-6 times. That's pretty aggrevating!

However, the deadbolt did not work. The lock wasn’t lining up properly, didn’t feel too secure having my family with me.
And when I went to check out and to report the malfunction, there wasn’t anybody at the front desk.

Good one-night stay!

Kathy at the front desk for check in was fantastic. Room was clean, spacious. Bathroom had a smallish hole in the ceiling above the shower head which seemed to have some mold around it. Reported it the next morning to the front desk clerk who didn't seem to care. Beds were firm. Breakfast was minimal, but as expected.

Check in was fast and pleasant. The desk associate was friendly and interested in our stay. Our room, #213, for the most part, was clean-some dirt in bathroom corners and stains in the tub. The bed and pillows were comfortable and we slept well. Would recommend this room. Everyrhing went well until breakfast. The blonde lady working in tbe dining room was not only rude, but aggressive. While getting our coffee, she pushed her way in to overstuff the mostly full sugar container. Never said excuse me...slammed a box down and said \"I need to fill this.\" She was quite agitated and smased the sugar packs into the holder. The coffee in the carafe was lukewarm, so when we got a second cup, we got it from the fresh brewed pot. She looked out from the kitchen and saw us, acted like we were doing something wrong. She made a disgusted face, started slamming stuff around & loudly, grumbling aggressively to herself. She was making so much noise, the other lady came in from the lobby and tried to distract by chatting with us. SHE was very pleasant and kind and we enjoyed talking with her. The blonde lady, at one point, took the trash can from the dining room and threw a bag on the floor in it's place. Not sure why she would do that. Some guests missed the bag and trash was on the floor. My hubby picked it upup.The WORST dining experience. Maybe she was just having a bad day...nope. The 2nd day, she was the same. We did not go in there again. She obviously hates her job.

A decent motel, comfortable bed and spacious room.
Only downside we experienced was the lack of sound-proofing with the room door, so any conversations and noice in the hall seemed like the people were in the room with us.
Wasnt a problem once people stopped coming and going for thenight, but as soon as the early risers started heading out in the early morning (5:50-6am).....we were then wide awake....when we really could have used a couple more hours of sleep!

Worst stay ever!

For the money, over $200, I was expecting a nice motor lodge. Instead, we got an ordinary, outdated room with the most uncomfortable pillows I ever had. The breakfast was so cheap, we had to share a jelly bottle bought from Walmart. I honestly don't complain, but this place was so disappointing for the money spent.

Nice location. Sleepy little town with a couple of good restaurants. Hotel itself was actually fine. No real complaints. Obviously aging some especially in the bathroom. Tub and floors pretty heavily stained but clean. Overall pretty comfortable. Seems main problem is in the housekeeping area. Dirty towel hanging over shower curtain and zero toilet paper in room upon arrival. Grabbed the small shampoo provided to shower and found it less than half full. ( does housekeeping just leave it if prior guest didn’t use it all?)in the lobby heard several people asking desk for items that should have been in room or complaining about housekeeping issues. As far as the “continental breakfast”… just give up and say no breakfast if this is the best you can do. Feels like somebody opened their fridge and said hmmm this is what I have so I will put it out. Tupperware pan with hostess donuts, loaf of bread laying on the counter, couple packages of oatmeal, some jelly in squeeze jars that have def seen better days. You get the picture. After all that, again not a bad stay, just line out housekeeping and give up on breakfast or make a real effort.

I was hesitant to book our stay at this hotel, however, it turned out to be an amazing place to stay.
Being a wedding planner, I had a wedding in the area which is 1 1/2 hours from my home.
We checked in at 9:00pm and the woman was very kind and accommodating.
Our room was very clean and the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable.
I most certainly would stay there again and i highly recommend this hotel!

When we checked in we had no toilet paper, no towels, ice bucket had left over water in it. By the looks of it the only thing they did to the room was make the beds and empty the trash.
When we went to the front desk to ask for toilet paper and towels 3 other rooms were standing there waiting for the same items. Wasn’t even extended an apology.
Then in the morning we went down to the breakfast we found 2 empty bread bags and a poor selection of breakfast items we asked for more bread and was told there was no more, it was only 7:15am and they were out already!
We would not stay there again there are plenty of hotels in that area with pools and better breakfast at the same price.

The room was your typical room, nothing particularly special. I did appreciate that it had a table and chairs in the room for snacks and takeout dinner, so we didn't need to sit on the beds to eat.

Location was close to Santa's Village (our main destination) and it was easy to walk to a few restaurants, coffee, and ice cream.

The front desk staff was incredibly pleasant and gave great dinner recommendations!

Good emplacement near some commodities. The personal in afternoon was very kind, but the morning, the other person seems to be not happy to work there.

The bathtub was in bad shape. The heat did not work in the room. Vending machines did not work. Their free continental breakfast was a joke, it was cereal, and moldy bread for toast. Coffe was basically brown water. Lady at the front desk was super nice, but the owner of the inn was rude and sat on the couch in the lobby picking at his bare feet directly across from the eating area.

The Breakfast was limited even by \"free breakfast\" standards. However one of the best breakfast anywhere is a few blocks away at the Gravel Grind.
House cleaning was on request but they did a good job. The location is great. Right next to a mall with a grocery store, liquor store & a fabulous thrift shop that has great book selection for $1 or $2 each.

IDK where the good reviews came from. This hotel is aged and worn, the room was filthy, stains on the nightstand, used tops on the floor and mold and soap rings in the tub. Our first room didn’t have heat (in Dec) so they moved us to another room, that was supposedly ready, but filthy. We told the front desk and they said (they’re not dirty they are just old) and when we showed her the photos, she just walked away and left us standing there without a word.
