This resort is absolutely stunning. I booked a junior suite, but was upgraded to a luxury suite & this didn’t disappoint absolutely beautiful room it was definitely a luxury experience including 2 times per day cleaning and service & 2 bathrooms one with a very deep bath. The pool & spa area are outstanding perfect addition to my stay. The food for dinner lunch & breakfast was of the upmost quality, value for money & presented in a way your social media will appreciate. What stood out for me personally was the staff nothing was too much for them to do especially Sandra. She was so kind, caring, professional, & compassionate!! She is a credit to the resort!! Apart from staying in complete luxury she is the thing I will miss the most!! If you want to live the dream at very comparable price then you need to book as you will Not be disappointed! Thank you Sandra as because of your service & your genuine personality I will be coming back.

We stayed for Christmas everywhere in the hotel was beautifully decorated and various restaurants to choose from all very good. The only downside was that the Christmas Day lunch was fully booked and we had to go another hotel to get the Christmas Day experience.

The resort was amazing, was in a great location near everything with a great view. The staff were all so welcoming and nice. I want to give a special shout out the concierge Tony, he assisted us with all our needs, he made suggestions for tours and restaurants just top notch! One thing that they need to fix is whatever cleaning detergent they use for their towels has a very strong chemical smell and it wasn’t bleach, it did not smell good. I will still give the 5 stars because that is something that can be fixed.

First time I stayed was fantastic but unfortunately the second time spoiled the experience a bit, As i requested a room closer to the sea instead i unfortunately was placed completely the opposite of i requested all i got was a view and noise from construction next door. And yes there where more rooms available 100% i know this because reception told me that during the week buffets were closed due to low occupancy

We made the right choice. This is a classic well operated hotel with a huge range of facilities and world class service. Nana was incredible and looked after us from check in to check out and we even got an anniversary gift. Pool, gym and sauna were excellent - can’t wait to come back in summer when everything else is open. Only negative is the curse of in-room Nescafé!
The area is lively for nightlife and tons of great bars and clubs but the quality of restaurants doesn’t suffer like other places - highly recommend L’Ostricaio for authentic Sicilian food at decent prices.

This facility is beautiful. The staff have the best customer service of any Westin property I have ever stayed. I checked in on my birthday and the staff went all out, upgrading my room for free, had cake waiting in my room, gave me a complimentary breakfast, etc. I was overwhelmed by the attention they went into to make my birthday memorable. Excellent customer service with a particular shout out to Sunny, Wictoria, gentleman at the pool and the team at the concierge. ( sincere apologies for not remembering your names!) Hard working staff during the breakfast rush and at the restaurants. The wonderful staff are the true gems of the place. Very clean facilities. Indoor and outdoor pool available and a gym. There are 2 delicious restaurants on site and plenty of restaurant options right outside the resort. We didn’t travel out at night so can’t comment on how lively it gets but all amenities( shops/ supermarket) were very close. It was around 20 minutes from the airport by uber. We used uber to travel all over the island , which was very convenient. Several activities on site for younger children, but not much for teenagers though this could be because it was October.

The room was perfect, quiet and the beds comfortable. The hotel was right on the water but still close to restaurants if you wanted to leave the property. We ate three of the four nights in the bar area of the lobby. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stayed thoroughly.

From start to finish, our 5 night stay in late October at Westin Dragonara was spectacular. We arrived a few hours before check-in, and we're able to enjoy a hotel lunch basking in the sun, which was delicious. We had a spacious and spotless garden view room, that allowed my kids to get to the pool quickly every day. The hotel was a great base for us to do some local walks and shopping nearby, and we used Bolt for other journeys but there are 2 bus stops close by. We tried both heated indoor and outdoor pools, preferring the outside when it was sunny and proximity to our room. The biggest highlight was the breakfast spread, many egg variations (my favourite being the omelettes to order), for the kids all the pastries, bakes and chocolate sauce on tap. The icing on this review is the awesome staff, always attentive, helpful and friendly. This was a last minute booking and wasn't our original intended hotel, but since visiting we've not regretted it and will definitely visit again and other hotels in the chain. Thanks for looking after us!

hotel is in an excellent position. Everything about the hotel was fantastic. The area across from the hotel, Paceville, is not good. Dirty a full of take aways , clubs and noisy bars. This is not a reflection on the hotel which is away from any noise and has fabulous facilities.

Amazing hotel beautiful views from all directions. It was easy to walk to tons of places for food or just for drinks. The hop on hop off bus makes a stop here so if you want to Tour Malta, it’s the perfect location. The staff was phenomenal. They were so kind and so helpful. Super fun. They were easy to joke around with and made my stay really comfortable.
My only complaints which is not really anyone’s fault , is that to order a bolt or Uber the Westin wifi doesn’t work. They have it set up that way, so you have to use your own cellular data or pay their Westin car fares, which are double the bolt prices. I will say, though that when I had an issue with this, the staff member himself booked me a vehicle using his bolt because I was not happy with price surcharge to use Westins chauffeur service. The food was also amazing. I have no complaints. I would stay here again.

The hotel has a fantastic location, with plenty of restaurants, shopping streets, and stores nearby. The property itself is large and even has its own beach, where guests can swim in the sea, as well as a nice pool — more than enough to enjoy. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only small downside was that the room ventilation wasn’t ideal; the bathroom moisture didn’t clear out easily, and the sheets and bedding felt a bit damp, which might also be due to the local climate. Overall, however, our stay was very pleasant and we had a great experience.

Stayed here solo for 4 nights and wish it was longer, the views and atmosphere of this hotel are beautiful, it’s comfortable, you have everything you could need. Guests are also extremely pleasant and I had the most wonderful stay. Hotel is very classy and the piano bar is a lovely touch. The staff are incredible in every area including the restaurants, round the pool, cleaning, front desk and walking around, everyone was so polite. Highly recommend visiting (one thing to be aware of is the area around the hotel isn’t the nicest which is completely out of the hotels control but just to note). Perfect stay; thank you

Had a fabulous stay at this hotel. I was travelling with my wife and kids aged 13 and 9. Malta is a vibrant place and full of history along with beautiful weather and coastline. The hotel is exceptional, great food, outstanding facilities including multiple pools, sea access and gym. The staff were also extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend.

Westin Dragonara is a fabulous hotel, we stayed for a week with family.
Food was really good with a varied choice (even kids were happy) and the rooms were large, beds were comfortable and cleaned daily.
The hotel itself it lovely, the swimming pools are great and the abundance of sun loungers, towels and overall facilities was second to none.

Hotel was by far the best location and nicest of all the hotels we looked at. Many of the other larger hotels have large cranes and building sites directly next to them (Corinthia etc). So be prepared for the reality of beautiful sea views being spilt by constant building works across most of Malta. The westin facilities and pools however are great. We had a large suite. Kids club is only suitable for tiny toddlers.
St Julian’s Bay and Paceville however are rotten smelling and dirty - thanks to all the young tourists in the strips and clubs and sewage. However, I’d still recommend the hotel highly. And just ensure you research well and pay for taxis to take you out to the nicer restaurants (Loa at St Paul’s Bay, Valletta etc). Plus with boat trips you needn’t spend much time in the strip - except to pop to the supermarket.

Staff very friendly, Hotel itself was beautiful seems at first to be in a run down area but only a few mins walk away from the busy centre of St Julian's. Internet was patchy and that seemed to apply to the whole of Malta don''t expect to be 5g gaming. Malta is small and the city areas are packed so we just used e-cabs or bolt everywhere. Would have happily stayed longer, not the cheapest hotel but we were very satisfied with our stay.
