Very nice place. We always enjoy our stay here.
Ken
Great room, great area, exceptional staff
Michael
If you want a clean, quiet place to stay the night, this checks all the boxes. No frills, and no hidden fees.
Jasmina
The room was clean and comfortable even if the furniture was dated. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby area. The inn is located in a quiet area on the Wilson lake. It would be lovely in the summer to take advantage of the lake. In the winter it is still beautiful to walk out on the lake. There were fishing huts in the distance and people were riding snowmobiles on the lake. The inn is close to downtown Wilton. Recommend reservations for dining in downdown restaurants.
Daniel
Clean quite hotel as advertised
Christopher

Charles
Room is clean and temperature is set perfect considering it is well below 0 out.

Beautiful lake setting, friendly courteous staff!

A good visit at the Wilson Lake Inn.
We enjoyed our stay at Wilson Lake Inn. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was lovely and the view was great! The outdoor furniture was not in good shape, however. The room wasn't as clean as we would have liked. We see that the inn and it's grounds have great potential and plan to visit again sometime.
Stan
very comfy. We couldn't avail ourselves to all this inn had to offer.ie: lake, kayaks etc.A microwave in the room would have been nice. We did discover a great restaurant in town though. Calzolaio.I had Maple Bourbon Pork Tenderloin. The food and service was fantastic!
Dale

Beautiful location, but the access to the water is limited and the view is only accessible when down at the water's edge. The inn is not very accessible, and when asked for an accommodation the staff was brusque and unhelpful. Check in experience on the whole was poor -- as if \"I'm really not happy to be here, and I'm sure not happy to help you.\" I fully realize all the limitations these days -- but being friendly, helpful and welcoming goes along way when the constraints are big.

Great lakeside place to stay!
Fantastic location, great staff, super-clean and well-maintained. They go above and beyond to make this an excellent place to stay.
Werner
The hotel is very quiet and peaceful! Kayaks and canoe are available. The is very picturesque with loons most every evening. Fishing is wonderful!!
Frank
A surprise gem around those parts. While the rooms may be a tad dated, they were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. And the property is amazing! Spacious lawn, horseshoes, firepits, an amazing walk down to the lake with seats, a dock, and kayaks to take out. Its a mini-resort in the middle of Maine! Highly recommend
Yang
Quiet Place, also a good place to see the sunrise over the lake
Rudolph
Very comfortable. Nice and peaceful.
Matthew
This place worked well for my one-night business trip to the Wilton area. The lake access was nice, and I wish I had a little more time so I could have gone out in one of the kayaks. The room was clean and the area was quiet. Friendly and responsive staff. Would stay here again.
Dorothy
Very nice place. It has been around a while but well maintained. Great location, nice well groomed grounds. The personnel are friendly and helpful. While the rooms are small they are very clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. Would stay there again without hesitation. Beautiful area of Maine.
Carol
Great place, clean and quiet
Trevor
This is a great spot that is a ten minute walk from downtown Wilton

Convenient location for our trip to a ski race.

Long weekend
Nice and clean, staff was very friendly. Only complaint was the noisy fan and not dog friendly.
William
Needed an affordable place relatively close to our ski destinations. This was the one that fit our needs. Wasn’t expecting much for continental breakfast. It still disappointed. Luckily found a great breakfast spot on the way to Black Mountain off Maine. Beyond that, place was dated but comfortable and clean. Checking in and out was easy enough. Didn’t get to explore the property but I’m sure the pond/ lake is beautiful.
Donald
It was a quite stay
Christine
We were in the area for a college visit. The Inn staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lovely location, close to our destination.
Kent
Although quite outdated by today's standards, it was cute, quaint and accommodating. Short walk to the lakeshore with seating, kayaks, firepit...gorgeous !!! Will definitely stay again.
Andrew
Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable, quiet environment. Wanted to stay for the beautiful view of the lake and was not disappointed.
Sally
I loved the kitchy welcoming lobby area, and the staff was friendly!

Bad experience
We asked for a room with a kitchen and breakfast. The owner didn’t accommodate our reservation requests and didn’t refund us for the service we paid for. That led to a whole series of problems with both Hotels.com and with the receptionist. Bad service. Bad experience.

Xiongwei
I like the space around the property. You can enjoy the view of the lake and do some quiet reading by the lake too.
Marie
Jesse was so friendly and welcoming. He suggested a great place for dinner. When he called to see if our car had lights on, it was so thoughtful!
Gail
One outlet in our room did not work, so one lamp did not work. Cracks in bathroom sink. Screen did not seal on at least one window so could not open window without introducing bugs. Screen door closure mechanism did not close door softly. Caulking in bathroom was poorly done. Mattress was not supportive. Breakfast area should include refrigerated milk and orange juice everyday. There was no mention of the 10-percent discount at the local pizza place until after I made two purchases there and, then, the pizza shop informed me of the discount but did not apply it to the order.
The lake is nice and the availability of chairs, picnic tables, and watercraft is very good.

Wonderful vacation spot!!

Here one night…good place for 2/3 day stay..beautiful lake area….
Mary
Upon arrival we signed out 2 kayaks and paddled around their lake for over an hour. Dinner and breakfast were at two close by restaurants. The beds were good for sleeping. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The inn is clean and safe.
Melissa
A jewel! Very well kept and quaint. I am so glad I found this place. Staff and owners were very nice. Comfortable and the view on the lake was spectacular. Very relaxing after a long day of motorcycle riding. I would definitely go back there to stay.
Daniel
A quaint quiet stay at a very clean, traditional motel style inn! The location is perfectly serene, with kayaks and rowboats available to the guests or you can just have a quiet sit lakeside. Just delightful!
Denise
Lovely spot on the lake and very pleasant family and staff. Coffee and snack room nice touch.
GREGORY D.
Waterfront lodging at a reasonable price 👍
Kathryn
Beautiful serene property and gardens right down to the shoreline. Adirondack chairs near the shoreline. Save dock to sit and watch the lovely surroundings. Wonderful, helpful, kind staff.
Michael
DISAPPOINTING: Have been a long time visitor of this property, but condition and service have gone down hill dramatically over the past year or so.
Service used to be welcoming like you were visiting with old friends. Now it's sterile like big hotel chains.
Rooms have degraded. Our door stuck so badly I had to throw my shoulder into it to get it open or closed. Room smelled like cigarette smoke immediately walking in the door, and then when I pulled back the bedding to get into bed, an overwhelming scent of body odor filled the room.
IT didn't used to be like this. Not sure what changed, but disappointing for sure, and probably won't be back.

Nice lakeside area to sit and relax, go swimming or kayaking. They have kayaks and canoes available courtesy of the Inn. Paddles life jackets also provided.

Great, friendly staff. Had no idea it was right off of a beautiful lake. Fantastic stay, 10/10.

Wilson Lake Inn has a hometown feel with big-hotel standards of cleanliness, service, and amenities. The staff appears to treat each other like family, which only enhances visitors' stays.

Lovely Maine motel in Wilton
It's a charming motel with comfortable rooms on Wilson Lake. There is an excellent Italian restaurant down the street where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. It's a bit pricey but lovely.
Vickie
Nice property overall. The room was clean except for something black in the sink. Maybe mascara? The drain was slow to that sink so that might be part of the problem. I just wiped it up with a wash cloth. Our outside door upper hinge was broken like someone had attempted to force open the door. I don’t think it happened during our stay. The other hinges were intact so the door locked okay. The lake was beautiful. The grounds were well manicured. We were visiting our son at UMF. It’s about 15 minutes from the university. Given the poor selection of property choices in Farmington this was a good option. Overall we would stay here again.
Geraldine
Highly Recommend
Beautiful location, immaculate room, comfortable bed, and the coffee was great too!
Beverly
A very clean and quiet motel. Beautiful views of the lake. Great people there. Would definitely go back!

So very nice to be able to walk the garden area and down to the lake. Awesome views. A little trouble in the room, refrigerator wasn’t cleaned out from previous guest BUT when I reported, was cleaned promptly and properly and with a lot of sorries. My point to the story; IF anything is wrong, they are Johnny on the spot!!!!

It was all good except the front desk. I stood there for quite awhile while attendant didn’t even look up. He was on call but another couple was before me and also said he failed to acknowledge them. The call he was on sounded trivial, about weather and dining in area. It happened more than once with this guy.

Nice place and very clean.

Disappointed. Room photo and write up indicated that double queen room had a table and 2 chairs. This room did not. When I asked if another room with table ansd chairs was available , iI was told that the room I book was what I was given. The bath tub had black foot prints on bottom of tub. There was an exposed cut out in the wall behing the dresser. I later found the cover for the cut out, but it did not stay in.

Great setting. I didn't need all the rules and threat of charges if anything was wrong. Initialed a list of conditions that I could do without

First time this has ever happened to me
We had four rooms booked for two nights to celebrate my child's college graduation. Upon checking in to the hotel, we found an infestation issue with one of the rooms. To their credit, the management responded quickly and appropriately. Kudos on that part. Unfortunately, this beautifully situated motel on the lake requires a close inspection of the rooms and bedding upon check-in. I hate leaving bad reviews because they truly matter - especially to independent owners. I wish them well and hope that this was an isolated issue.

Family stay
My second stay here. It is a great place. room was comfortable
Gary
No coffee in the room, no hairdryer in the room, very small bathroom, no snacks or breakfast. Nice people.
Sarah
It was obvious the place was family-owned and they took pride in their business.

Excellent place to stay
The room was very clean and we could see the pretty back yard. The staff were very friendly. They had a canoe that we used and enjoyed (and some kayaks). We liked everything and would for sure stay again.
Robert
Motel property was beautiful and the room was clean and spacious.
We didn't like the town and wanted to leave one day early. We were not given back our payment.

Lovely setting—beautiful grounds, small, but very nice swimming dock. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly service and good coffee in their morning!

This is a very pretty inn in Maine. They have clean rooms and comfortable beds. The inn provides kayaks to rent if you wish.

Long wait for coffee to be made at 8:00 am. New owners seem to be learning the ropes. Very pretty grounds and gardens on a small peaceful Vermont lake. Not walkable for restaurants. Limited restaurants in nearby area. Would be much improved if they had a continental breakfast of some sort available.

It was a peaceful getaway...😉

Never again
Way overpriced, about$100 over. Very small old room. Web site said breakfast, no breakfast. We booked through Hotels.com, paid an Extra $30 more than if we booked directly with the hotel. No A/C in our room.
The room on the website said 2 queens, it was 1 queen and 1 full size bed. They could not get 2 queens in that room, too small.

Owners were very friendly and helpful. Room (suite) was in good shape and fully stocked. The property and the lake view from the dock are awesome. This is a really neat place. Would definitely stay here again.

THE Place to Be
Stayed here for one night with my daughter who was spending the weekend at UMF. We spent about 20 mins. talking with the owners when we checked in, even though it was 10:00 at night.
VERY welcoming people, beautiful grounds, VERY CLEAN room, what else can you ask for?
