This is an older hotel and their decor has not been updated for quite a few years, but everything is clean and serviceable. The bedclothes in my room did have a strong odor of smoke and the t.v. didn't seem to work (I couldn't get it to power on anyway).

Im not really sure why this place is even on Hotels.com. This is no more than low income rental property. We ended up not staying. Our key would not even work in the door. Could not get computer to even come up and when it did, he said I have your reservation right here. I never gave him my name which means I was the only sucker to stop by. I don’t know how old the reviews on this place are, but sleeping in my car is more desirable than this place. Hotels. Com must have really lowered their standards to even have this on their site. Go down the road to All Seasons resort. A little more in price, but so worth it.

This place offers an affordable price compared to other hotels in Traverse City. I chose it mainly to have a place to sleep. I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of parking. I will stay at this place again.

Upon entering the room, I was immediately overwhelmed by a strong, lingering odor of stale beer and cigarette smoke. My son has severe asthma, and this environment posed an immediate health risk.
When we attempted to use the bed, the top blanket was visibly filthy, appeared unwashed for an extended period, and had a greasy texture. The bedsheets were heavily stained yellow and black, emitting a foul smell.
The bathroom was in an unacceptable state: it reeked intensely of urine (strong enough to cause me to vomit), the toilet seat had dried urine and hair on it, and overall hygiene was severely neglected.
This property is unsanitary and unsafe, particularly for guests with respiratory conditions. It either needs to be temporarily closed until thorough deep cleaning and replacement of all bedding and soft furnishings is completed, or significant investment must be made to bring the room up to basic health and cleanliness standards. The current condition is unacceptable for any guest.

We were not happy with our accommodations. I'm pretty sure we booked two beds, it may have been about $111, which we paid. The place seemed mostly for working people who stayed all week. The first room they gave us had one queen bed, the room was very stuffy and smelled of smoke and there was no sign of air conditioning. Then they found a room on the first floor with one king bed that had a much lower odor and AC, so we stayed. There was no box of tissues, no waste baskets. Should have been $60 max. I would not recommend it to anyone. Can we get some kind of credit?

This property was possibly the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. We sat in our room for 20 minutes and then checked out. The hallway to our room smelled of fire. There were piles of linens in the hall. We checked in after 11:00pm. There were a lot of flies in the room. It was dusty. The rooms are very out dated. We payed $130 for one night. Check in including the wait time to get someone to the front office was over 30 minutes. Someone came up to us when we walked out to go to our room and asked if we’d been helped. It’s after midnight now and someone approaches us in the middle of the parking lot. Definitely made us feel unsafe. When we left and let the front desk person know in the parking lot we were leaving he asked why and tried to deny the conditions of the room. My finacee did her best to kindly explain to this man the situation. The place needs to shut down, torn down and they can start over. Trying to polish this turd won’t cut it. Stay in Traverse City or sleep in your car.

This place was reminiscent of the movie \"Psycho\". We did not feel at all safe nor were the rooms clean. Carpets were stained, bed linens were thrown haphazardly on the beds, sink and tub looked like they hadn't been cleaned from the last occupant (soap residue on the sink and counter). One in our party slept in her travel clothes and no one unpacked anything. No coffee, no attendant in the office in the morning... we left ASAP.

The staff at check-in was wonderful, but this property should not be listed on Orbitz. It was a very rundown motel that felt more like it rented rooms by the month. It had the bare minimum but honestly did not feel either safe or comfortable. I don't think anyone booking online would feel satisfied with this location.

This motel was nice and clean.. Check-in and check out were seamless. It is false advertising for the breakfast and the Egyptian cotton bedding lol..but I wasn't expecting much.
The \"breakfast\" is Little Debbie snack ckes but the coffee is delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Pictures are deceiving they are about 30 years behind. Place is run down and unclean. Checked into room uneaten food left in a styrofoam container on top of microwave. Pubic hair left all over bathroom counter and in sink. Looked like they had a sasquatch shaving party. Food remenants in the sink strainer. Hair on every towel pulled from the rack. Stained sheets hair in the bed also. Booked this through hotels.com with no refund otherwise I would have left and found another place to stay. Slept on top of blankets.

We got to the hotel late. When we got to our room, it was in terrible condition. The toilet and bathroom wall was literally covered in sh! . When I showed the picture to the guy at the front desk, he was very apologetic. I would have left, be we found out there were absolutely zero rooms anywhere around Gaylord for 50 miles, that's why we ended up here.
The carpets were filthy, dead bugs/wasps in the windows.
Run from this place. If i hadn't had kids with me, i would have slept in my car.

we booked this stay based on breakfast included. There was no breakfast. We booked double queen beds - and we were given a room with one queen bed. They were switching cable tv wires in rooms - and we were told not to go to our room yet because they wanted to make sure the tv worked - so we left the property waiting for them to fix our room that expedia had available when we booked.
The girl was really nice.

The room was gross, smelled of cigarettes and had no TP. We refused the room and were provided a different room. The second room was better. However, this room had an over powering air freshener smell that put our allergies in overdrive, the bathroom vent fan did not work and the bathroom floor was mildewed. Overall, this place sucked.

i stayed in room 103, the carpet was filthy, the bedding was threadbare and stained and dingy. the one bed you could tell had not been changed, there were pubic hairs in the bed. the stench walking in the door from chemical cleaners was almost unbearable. everything was sooooo outdated, a rotary phone!!?!? curtains did not shut all the way. the shower curtain was so black at the bottom edges. 1 hanger, 1 trash receptacle. the tv was good, plenty of hot water and the toilet and sink seemed to be clean. their “breakfast included” was a bag of pretzels, some kind of cookie and some black thick coffee from a very dirty pot. i would not recommend this place or at least that room to anyone. customer beware, ask to see the room before giving them money as they will not do a refund.

While trying to economize, we had not expected the poor quality / cleanliness that we received.
The comforters had cigarette burns, and when pulled down we saw that only a single sheet covered the mattress. The pillow cases had an aroma of smoke, covered by a floral scent. There were no towels available in the room, and we not not feel like climbing back down the stairway to inquire or ask for them.
Several groups of people were gathered at the lower level, although there were few vehicles present.

Room it’s self was ok , no, it was half the size in footage that you advertised. I stayed there about 12 years ago and it was much nicer than it is now. I wont stay again.
On a good note, the manager and staff were good, helpful and polite. Hotels, located within walking distance of downtown only couple blocks.

The sheets on the bed were so old they were piled. There was no coffee maker. The steps leading up to the room were filthy. The pillows on the bed did not have traditional cases and were not comfortable. The bathroom amenities include a minute bar of soap and small packet of shampoo/conditioner. I simply want clean and a place to sleep. Driving up, the exterior appeared questionable, and I hoped the interior was not the same. I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean room with a comfortable bed, larger than normal fridge and microwave. The (manager?) made it a point to bring extra towels and make sure our stay was comfortable. Don't expect anything fancy and you won't be disappointed.

The manager was not in the office when we arrived. A sign told me to wait. I called the numberon another sign and no one answered. Then I said and said hello. I waited 10-15 minutes and then went back to my car. Someone finally came out of the office. He handed me two forms to fill out and as I was filling out the first one, he loudly tapped the other one to get my signature. Then he told me to sign the other one without providing address, phone number, car info etc. He told me to use the wrong entrance. The carpets are f—ing disgusting and the room is not big enough for two. Avoid this place at all costs even if you are on a tight budget.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! When I arrived, after I paid, I went to my room and the toilet was not clean, and the sheets on both beds were dirty. I returned to the front desk and left the key. The owner wanted to know why I wouldn't stay and asked to see what I was talking about. After he saw my room, he offered me another and I refused and left. When I asked Expedia for a refund, they contacted the hotel and were told that I stayed the night (lie) and there was never a complaint about the toilet and the dirty sheets! WOW...

The room smelled like an ashtray. The air conditioner didn’t work and blew out mold/dust when turned on. The bathroom had a painted over tub with visible mold and mildew. The bedspread had a blood stain and cigarette burn. As someone with asthma I couldn’t stay overnight in the room. My friend slept in her truck because she couldn’t breathe in the room. Our other friend (who doesn’t have asthma) said her lungs were hurting from staying in the room overnight. If we ever stay in Kalkaska again I will definitely drive to TC to find a room. This room is awful.

I have never stayed in a place that was so filthy. Floor in bathroom was dirty. I wouldn’t walk on carpet without slippers or shoes on. Sheets were clean, but bedspread had yellow stain. I don’t know when the last time the bathroom door was washed in our room and daughter’s room. Bathtub in daughter’s room had mold. Never again!

The hotel is definitely on the lower end. Kind of a little sketchy, but the room I stayed in was clean enough. No breakfast per say, though there was some to go snacks. I was double charged on my card and was able to get a reimbursement within 2 days so I'm going to give it a good rating.

I will not use exprdia for motels again. This motel was 20 miles from our destination. When we got there we found out it eas a motel for migrant workers. The price was higher than expected for a room in the area. We were told it would have been cheaper to direct book. The staff however was amazing and attentive.
