When I put in the search for amenities I specified I wanted a pool and this hotel did not have a pool. The smoke from the Canada fires were so bad the hotel smelled like smoke. I was not a good trip we couldn't even go to the beach due to the smoke and not having a pool was a complete disappointment!

Hotel was clean and well maintained. We arrived around 8:00pm and decided to eat at the restaurant on property. We were surprised to be told that the kitchen closes at 9:00. It’s a Casino Hotel. Food was average and staff friendly but not well trained. Our server did not know how to open the bottle of wine we ordered but was very grateful we taught her. Also disappointed that they only clean the room every 3 days. When we requested fresh towels they left a bag of towels outside our room letting the used ones accumulate in our bathroom. Clean but definitely not special.

The exterior of the building is well maintained, check in was easy. The rooms were in excellent condition meaning not showing wear and tear. Really comfortable mattress almost felt new ... I'm picky on pillows not the greatest but that's me. Overall a very nice overnight for us.

The steakhouse in the casino was absolutely wonderful. The casino is very small and the entertainment was set up so no one could sit down and enjoy. The bars that didn't have gambling machines only had a couple of chairs. It is very obvious they do not want anyone to sitting except infront of a machine or gambing tables.

For the amount that was charged for one night stay there should’ve been atleast a continental breakfast or voucher for one of the restaurants in the casino. Thin walls, horrible coffee. Not worth the money.

Beautiful hotel, modern clean rooms. They do not have a pool but does offer a shuttle to other casino 5mins away with a pool for hotel guest to enjoy. We did not eat at the steakhouse but did the buffet and was not impressed at all. It is a very small buffet with sub par food unfortunately. We jumped around on a few different machines with a cpl hundred dollars and won nothing.

The design of the room was flawed, almost like an irritated inconvenience. The bathroom door did not shut all the way, making privacy impossible. Then the actual shower door did not stop the water from coming out of the shower. The coffee pot brewed cold coffee. Not worth the money in my opinion. For food I tried the restaurant buffet and it was an awful experience, a cook was serving brats and burgers but was nowhere to be found to retrieve one. All the food on the buffet was hard as it was sitting too long. Next day I tried the deli, again awful. Over all experience, I will never stay there again.
Be cautious as even if you choose to pay at the property they will still try to charge your card repeatedly. My card has declined 2 unauthorized payments.
Do better for your customers.

When checking on 10-19-25 @4:00 PM in I was greeted by the Lady at the desk and when she found out I had booked through Expedia she literally blew up, stating loudly \"they\" are worse, NEVER ever use Expedia, she kept repeating thin many times,,, ALWAYS call the motel for reservations, this was in a tone that she was trying to belittle me and my wife some lady came from the back and advised she had \"it\" taken care of and we were processed in without further delay?
I had already paid in advance for our stay so I let this angry lady process us in, she put us on the eight floor almost to the end of the hall after being ask in a \"nice manner for something close to the elevator as we are handicapped, I have stayed there before and never been treated like this! Everything should be on video!
One cannot find a cleaner well equipped motel and casino in Traverse city period and other staff were Class A and overall is a great get a way and after this meeting strange person who was in dire need of some type management!!
WE DID OVERALL ENJOY OUR STAY and will use Expedia again,,
