We had a wonderful two night stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They privided us with extra coffee and creamer for our room upon request. There is an excellent restaurant at the hotel. We had a tasty breakfast one morning and also happy hour drinks and appetizers. I would definitely stay here again.

So much light coming in through the curtains. Lots of road noise. Stomping noises above us. Hospital like blankets. Rude AF woman checked us in.

Pros they tried to fix it by offering us breakfast where we got the nicest waitress and the food was cooked really well.

I would never recommend staying here.

Everything is great. They are our favorite in TC. However, I think the rooms arw due for a makeover. They seem to be getting a little shoddy. It to be expected in a high turnover area like TC. But the bathrooms are starting to look a little rough.

We had a wonderful stay at Cambria Suites in Traverse City! The hotel was beautifully maintained—everything felt very clean, modern, and comfortable. The pool and hot tub area were a highlight for us and such a great place to relax.

The bar and restaurant were excellent with great drinks and food. Little tip: if you let the bar know you’re heading to the pool, they’ll serve your drinks in plastic cups so you can enjoy them poolside—such a nice touch!

Overall, a fantastic experience and a place we’d happily stay again. Highly recommend!

Average experience for high price

We chose this hotel for the access to a charger for our electric vehicle. One of the two chargers was not working, the other had a vehicle at it all evening into the next morning and no staff members at the front desk knew how to help. We ended up having to change travel plans due to the inconvenience. Everything else was very average for a hotel that was so expensive. Probably would not stay again.

I’m very picky when it comes to hotels and the Cambria was perfect for our family weekend getaway. The room was very clean and comfortable. We did need to get a roll away bed which made the room feel small but we were barely there. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The pool and hot tub area was open 24/7 which was a hit with my 8 year old. Would definitely stay again!

Not a family hotel

Upom first entrance to the hotel it looks very sleek and classy. Upon checking in and getting into the room it didn't seem very kid/friendly. We recieve a noise complaint at 745pm because our 4 kids 8 and under were too loud which was just them playimg hide in seek im the room. Which I get was a bit loud but also not at 745, come on. The beds were not comfortable, very hard as if sleeping on a box spring only. There was a green ball in our room and a hair clip, i can only imagine that was left from previous occupants.
The hotel itself was classy just not family accommodating.

Beautiful hotel with a nice restaurant and a pool that stayed open all night long. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bar was nice and bartender very knowledgeable and personable.

I can’t say enough about the restaurant. Amazing food. Recommend the smoked whitefish pate, perch, veal porterhouse, breakfast tacos, blueberry cobbler French toast and their carrot cake. Highly recommend you visit Reflect Bistro inside Cambria Hotel.

HOTELS.COM CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!!

Hotels.com is the worst. They would not let us change our reservation by 1 day early. And they blamed Cambria hotel. Do not use Hotels.com! We ended up paying for 4 nights when we only could stay for 3.

Nice location because of the shuttle that takes you to downtown. I don’t like that we were kicked out of the lobby because we brought down coffee from the room. The coffee they provided! Later we were told if we had used the mugs, no issue. But that was later. That drops the rating for me a couple of stars. We can’t enjoy the Lobby? Beds room towels were excellent.

This was the best of the three hotels I stayed at in the state during the week I was traveling in Michigan. I don't know if it was because the hotel seemed to be tailored toward business clientele, but the room was well maintained, and there were many extras, like a dining room and bar area that was busy with customers and well staffed - on a Tuesday night! I was glad to see the lobby desk was also well-staffed. Texting communication is an excellent feature when booking with them; it feels personal while staying at this hotel. I will be returning and using them in the future.

I liked that there was a restaurant on property but the portions were really big. There should have been a kids memu or at least we should be warned how big the portions are for a child. I liked having complimentary coffee and water theoughout the day by the reception. The pool area was much smaller than it looked in the pictures. The gym equipment was great but there should have been disinfectant wipes available there to clean down the equipment after use. The room was spacious, we had a suite with six people, two of them kids, but would have been nice to even have an extra sink. Having one bathroom was a bit hard to navigate.

Cambria hotel in TC

The location in proximity to the marathon was excellent, the reason we chose Cambria. The staff were absolutely fantastic, very polite and helpful in a way I’m almost unaccustomed to. The rooms are solid, however, they are growing dated. I stayed at the Cambria over 10 years ago and nothing has changed. There are holes in the curtains and the sitting area tv is a relic. Also, the hvac was spotty.

Great place to stay in Traverse City

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to greet me each time I visit. All rooms are a comfortable suite configuration. The food is some of the best in town and the wait staff and bartenders are excellent. There are a lot of places to stay in T.C. especially in the summer season, this is the one I choose whenever I can.

People were trying to break in to our room in the middle of the night. There was also so many noises from the ac, the walls and the people next to us. (You could hear every word)

Would stay again

We fit 5 of us in a room with 2 beds and a pullout couch. It worked just fine. The restaurant onsite was very good (breakfast). The free shuttle to downtown was really appreciated so that we didn't have to worry about parking (and having a beer). Alexandria at the front desk was a rock star. My daughter left her epi pen in our room and Alexandria went above and beyond to look for it herself and found it behind a curtain.

Loved the food. Thought the mattresses were worn out and uncomfortable. Couldn’t sleep because we could hear people walking above us all night. Terrible sound insulation!

This hotel should be at the top of your list.

The hotel is in a great location with large accommodating rooms. They were clean and the water was hot! The best part is the front desk clerk Alexandria!! She rocks!!
