Nice room and the breakfast was good. We were told rooms were cleaned every third day. We were there a week and room was never cleaned. It was noisy due to other guests and what I can only guess was construction next door. Overall not a bad experience.
Janagan
Well maintained property. Breakfast was good.
Scott
My wife & I came to Traverse City to do & see ,we weren't looking for luxury, so this hotel checked all the boxes for us. it's clean, quiet & comfortable. There is a nice pool & hot tub & good common space. From my research I believe it to be the most affordable of its class. Its an excellent location close to beaches, restaurants, etc
Scott
The breakfasts were great to start the day off
Janice
The beds and pillows were very comfortable and clean. Good sized room to move around in. The lounge and breakfast rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was good but would have liked ceramic cups instead of paper cups for coffee, cut up fruit, and fresh bananas. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the property maintenance and updating appears to be declining. Marred walls and baseboards, dated wallpaper, stained old carpeting. Hotel is not as nice since change of ownership. It's clean but dated decor is tired looking. Excellent location in Traverse City.
Luca
We had a pleasant stay overall at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Traverse City. The room was clean and quiet, and the beds were very comfortable, making for a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was excellent, close to everything we wanted to see and do.
The hotel rooms could use some updating, but everything was functional and somewhat well-maintained. Breakfast was good, although the selection was somewhat limited. Our biggest disappointment was the Wi-Fi, which was extremely unreliable. The signal was so weak that the network often didn't even appear on our devices, making it essentially unusable. The bathroom was fine overall, but having the exhaust fan tied to the light switch instead of a separate switch was a bit annoying.
Overall, despite a few drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again, especially because of the comfortable beds, friendly staff, and convenient location.

Breakfast was less than desirable. Pool and hot tub ooo when we arrived.
Gregg
Great location for the Cherry Festival and for a trip up the peninsula.
Katelynn
Very large, nice, clean pool. Hot tub wasn’t very hot, needed filled. Breakfast had lots of options & was delicious, room was clean & staff was friendly!
nosa
The receptionist was kind and pleadant. She took my request which is to put me on the top floor because i am mostly noise sensitive.
Julie
This feels like a transitional location rather than a destination. We stayed just one night on our way to somewhere else and it seemed like that was the case with most other patrons. The experience wasn’t great. We found an old sock and a cockroach in our room and some lady and a guy had a loud argument over the waffle iron at breakfast, which was mediocre otherwise. When we got home we unpacked all our clothes outside to ensure we didn’t bring anything back with us. The front desk staff was lovely and helpful, but we won’t be staying here again.
Robert M
Breakfast was ok, and staff was pleasant. We stayed 4 nights and I don't think the room was checked the entire time for trash removal or bed freshning
Michelle
Had to change rooms due to the uncleanliness of the first room The pool area was well-maintained. Breakfast was what you'd expect at your typical hotel chain.
Leslie
The property was fine; it was clean and comfortable. A good breakfast.
Christine
Free chocolate chip cookies were the highlight. Everything appeared to be clean and safe.
Lindsey
Clean and quiet property, staff was nice, breakfast was good.
Daniel
Easy check in/out. Breakfast was standard. My only complaint would be that check in is not until 4 pm.
Molly
Dated and uninspiring.
Hilda Quijano
Good for price
James
Never disappoint! Friendly, clean, comfortable!
Rita
Staff from the front desk and especially the kitchen staff were very helpful and polite , buffet breakfast was very good and generous especially on their fruits selections , rooms are big and clean and lobby was clean and the warm cookies served inthe afternoon with the endless coffee and tea was a delight !!! ⭐️
Richard C
Everything was as it should be.
Maryon
Nice breakfast and lovely courtyard with lilac bushes.
Thomas C
The stay was OK but the room was only cleaned every third day. That was OK but there was no hamper and only one towel bar so very little space to put used towels. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fine but choice was somewhat limited. Only fruit was apples or oranges and one day they had bananas. Front desk was very helpful to get extra Keurig cups and Kleenex.
Brendan
The hotel was fine. There for three days and never had our bed made or sheets changed. Breakfast was decent. Hot tub and pool was nice
Taffy
Wonderful staff. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast ok.
Dea
Convenient, good breakfast, very cute outdoor patio area
Thomas
Could not have asked for a better experience from check in, to amazing breakfast every day, clean rooms, great pool and hot tub to an overall great staff. Highly recommend this stay
Lisa
Friendly staff.

Kathryn
Room was very clean. Very nice our door patio area and the staff was very helpful.
Bonnie
Bathroom was very small but otherwise room was good size.
nannette
close to the water
Robert
This was a good find for the price ( there is nothing cheap in Traverse City on a weekend!) Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was solidly good. Didn't use the pool but it looked very clean.
Joel
Room, breakfast, pool was great. There was a crackhead in the building next door screaming out of her apartment window at people in the parking lot though lol
David Claud
Great Hotel with nice room, good customer service and a good breakfast. The room was good size. There were a couple of small issues that we reported to them and they apologized and said they would fix them right away. The location was convenient and quiet. I would stay again and recommend it.
David
Quiet location and friendly staff. The room was not as clean as expected. Great breakfast options. The bathtub lacked a mat to avoid slipping in it.
SHARON
Good location and clean facility.
Juan
No beach view but very good breakfast clean room and peaceful, relaxing.
George
We had a great experience!
Stanley
Had a good selection for breakfast, room was clean. Pool and hot tub looked inviting but did not use.
Greg
Great location and friendly staff. The place could use an upgrade on carpeting and overall aesthetics. The beds aren’t comfortable, so replacing the mattresses with something softer and better would be great. The pool is massive and wonderful, but the steps and surrounding area could use a fresh coat of paint. The breakfast was very nice and great. It should run till 10am.
Laura
Staff was nice hotel Was clean pool was nice
Peggy
Breakfast was great! We stay in Room 254 each time we go - the hot water has to run 8-10 minutes in both the shower and sink before it runs warmish, every time they are used throughout our stay. Otherwise, all is well.
Ernest
Our stay at Country Inn was everything you expected clean well managed
The staff was super friendly too
The staff was super friendly too
Linda
Very friendly staff. Room was very clean and heating worked well. Breakfast was a little less than what we had anticipated but it was free! Close to town and lake.
Randy
Very clean and pleasant staff.
Kara
Breakfast was great something different each day we was there
Thomas
Great place to stay! The pool was delightful and the morning breakfast exceptional. Professional, courteous folks work here.
Teri
It was amazing.
Marisa
The lady at the desk was very kind and welcoming explained all the amenities available. The pool and hot tub were remarkable. The breakfast was delicious. It provided something for every taste. Will stay here again!!
Kathy
The room was clean when we arrived. The king size bed was very hard and the four pillows on the bed were not very comfortable, I wish we would have brought our own. My husband enjoyed the breakfast so that was a plus. I would say the major negative for me was after checking in I received a text from the hotel stating they only service the room every three days so if we need anything I could contact them and they would take care of it which I was completely fine with. Upon returning to the room on Saturday we noticed that somebody had been in our room, there were fresh towels and they had cleaned the floor. Normally I wouldn't have cared but I left some valuables in the room which I normally would had put away if I would have known someone was coming in. We would have put a do not disturb sign on the door but there wasn't one. It was overall a good stay I would just say if you tell me you will not be servicing the room, then please don't.
Raelynn
Staff was kind an helpful. Breakfast was great. Pool was clean and lots of space for families to sit. Room, specifically the bathroom could use some updating. Overall it was a pleasant stay!
Kimberly
Great for families. Room was clean. Pool area is very nice. Pool and hot tub are very big. Our second stay and always good service.
carla
Friendly staff and very clean. Loved the walk in shower
Aubrey
Very comfortable bed and clean. Pool was fun and hot tub was very large.
Nicholas
They had plastic forks and spoons and napkins readily available for me since I had forgot to grab them at the Chinese restaurant. Saved the day.
Brenda
Room spotless, staff friendly. Enjoyed coffee and cookies in the lobby. Delicious full breakfast, especially the fresh fruit.
mike
Staff was nice and hotel was clean
Aidan
The staff were very nice and the room was well-kept. It felt very cozy and wasn't far at all from major stores in case there was ever something I needed. Room service was super polite as well, I am not disappointed by the stay. I hadn't tried their breakfast to write a review but the beds were too comfy to get up from.
Robert
Everything was perfect. It was clean. The staff was friendly and breakfast was terrific.
Lawrence
Breakfast not very good ran out of food
Walter
Staff friendly. Clean room. Excellent breakfast. 5 stars except hot was out of order.
Nichole
We didn’t end up staying. Their hot tub was broke.
Sean
The room was comfy and clean. Breakfast hit the spot. The pool being down is why it is not five stars but there is a next time.
Stephanie
Good breakfast, walk from the room to the front desk was long
Linda
Everything went smooth from check in to check out. Friendly staff, property cleanliness and a good variety of food for breakfast. Definitely will stay again when we're in the area.
Michael
Friendly staff, nice pool area and great breakfast. The most important thing about a hotel was lacking, however. The beds were as hard and stiff as the floor they sat on.
Jimmy
This hotel is in our top 2! We try to get in at least 3 staycations here every winter.
Angela
I pulled into the back parking lot and several commercial vehicles with people smoking marijuana. The hallways smelled of marijuana making me nausea. The microwave in my room caught fire and was smoking. Room smelled like electrical. Called front desk she wanted me to unplug the microwave that smoke was coming from outlet. Had to ask to be moved to a different room. Unsure if she contacted fire department.
Robert
Better breakfast food
Patrick
Breakfast has a great variety and as healthy as you want.
Lori
The hotel is a little older but seemed clean. There are other business buildings pretty close to and surrounding the hotel. It is only 2 story and kind of a long building. We seemed to have to walk a lot to get to our room which was ok for us but may not be for others. Staff was very friendly.
Lori
Very Comfortable bed. Good value.
Veronica
Decent stay for a good price
Parking was good, clean room although outdated. However, the desk attendant was very helpful! We got there way before check in time and asked anyway about our room. We ended up getting our room very early and so did everyone in our group! Thank you
Doug
All good !! Would stay again
Mary
All good.
Mark
quiet and in a great location
Vicki
Was as safe as anywhere behind the motel. Hot tub was great, but it did have a ring around it. Not sure if it needed cleaning or just a stain. The ONLY thing we didn’t like was the toilet seat, when you sat down it moves and you feel like you’re going to fall off
Ronald
Great breakfast clean room
Sandee
Enjoyed having breakfast available. Staff very pleasant. Quiet on the second floor.
Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Linda
Clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast
Hiep
Overall, it was ok! Good for one night stay
Gail
The ugliest $267 a night hotel I've ever stayed in. Filthy carpet. The color of the walls, especially the halls were institutional..The bathroom vent that came on automatically with the light was the loudest Ive ever heard in MY LIFE. I will never stay at a Country Inn again. This used to be a wonderful hotel flag. Radison has ruined it.
Richard
The breakfast was good. The room was clean. We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights.
Michael
Yes
Linda
Clean room.
Peggy
Great place to stay, but a couple minor glitches
The hot water took a very long time to run hot. Once it did, cold water was not required to temper the heat as it didn't get as hot as one would expect. The ac turned off in the middle of the night, each night, as if it had a govenor on it??
Karen
The hotel smelled. We had ants and roaches all over our room. The smoke detector went off around 3:00 am in the morning. We tried to call the staff, but no one ever answered the phone. My cpap machine had about a dozen ants in the water reservoir. Very disgusting! We could nir sleep.
Jack
Front desk staff were great. Guy pushing a laundry cart smelled very bad with body odor. He had come out of the elevator we went into and it reeked.
Amber
I was staying in the A building. I read in reviews that rooms were remodeled so maybe this was the older part of the establishment. The room and hallways were run down and ugly. Felt dreary and dingy. Scuff marks, poor lighting and very dated. The room was fine enough but there was hair in the shower and a cockroach. Glad I was only passing through and staying one night. For a $200 room this was gross.
Hailey
Staff were incredible! Cleanliness was as expected, though it did smell a bit of cigarettes
Jack
The room was amply sized for the two of us plus my wife’s mobility scooter. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and well appointed. It would have been nice if we did not have to go outside to get to the main building for breakfast, but that was only a small inconvenience. It would have been a larger problem if the weather was not so nice. Our only real problem was the bathroom sink did not drain well.
Theodore
Would not recommend. Apartments next door did not seem safe. Beds were uncomfortable. For the price qas not impressed.
Kathleen
Location and staff were great! Breakfast not so much…
Judith
Our favorite hotel over the last 20 years, when visiting Traverse City Mi. Excellent pool, hot tub, clean rooms & great service. Wouldn’t hesitate to return again & would highly recommend. Continental breakfast was good. The Grauf’s from Bay City Mi
