Good view of East bay. Beds were comfortable. Has a restaurant. May have a fire pit on beach,
Amanda
Hotel needs major updates, old furniture, about a two in gap under every room door. Beat up doors with holes. Mini fridge don’t really work. Needs improvement. Staff was kind and friendly.
Allan
No working clock in room. Room phone did not work. Could not order room service. Curtains did not fit door wall missing cyrtain panel. Could hear the people next door until 4am. Family vacation here for last 6 years. They let the property get wore out. Mattress was old and wore out. Going to take my family down the street.
Jill L Lincoln
This is a beautiful property. Beach is clean, the room was perfect. Good time in the lounge with music. Happy hour food was delicious
Jeanette
The beach out your door was great. Room needs updating. AC could be better. Old motel mildew smell.
Devon
Their hot tub was terrible, we got cold sitting in it! Shouldn’t be able to advertise a hot tub if it’s the same temperature of the pool.
Mario
Everything was good I always enjoy the view of the lake
Mary
Rooms are clean and very quiet. Only complaint would be allowing smokers on premises.....smelling weed while sitting on the balcony is not what we signed up for.
Emily Van
We have been coming her every year for the past 4 years. It is a little getaway for us. We will def be coming back.
Patricia
It was advertised heated pool and that was not the case
Baleigh

Dana
The beach was very clean. The firepits on the beach is a nice touch. Pool and hot tub before checking out was refreshing....little dirty. Great shower! Fridge and microwave in room was a bonus.
Shelenah
I love how comfy the beds are! The beach is safe and kept clean. Very helpful staff. Go above and beyond. Being kind doesn't cost a thing. Had a great experience and will be back again!

Great view. Beautiful property. Clean throughout the property.

The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach view was great.
Debra
The beach and view are beautiful and well maintained by staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. The layout is perfect and the balcony invites you to enjoy sunrise and sunsets. Staff and our stay was wonderful. The lounge offered great food and friendly service. Thank you for making our honeymoon special.
Letitia
The hotel room was nice. The only thing I didn’t like at the hotel was the free breakfast. Breakfast was from 8:00 to 10 am. Are breakfast at 8:00 . Limited choices to eat for breakfast. No bacon or sausage. The scrambled eggs and potatoes were warm. Plus they looked like they had been the warmer for a long time time because they were stuck to pan and starting to burn.
Ate in the restaurant/lounge in hotel for dinner. Took after 25 minutes to get two blackened grilled chicken sandwiches, chips and small scoop of coleslaw.

Surprised that many sites label this hotel as a 2 star. This hotel is locally owned, not a chain. It looks older on the outside but has been updated to look very nice on the inside. Couldn't ask for a better view of the bay, beach, sunsets, etc. The restaurant is very good! Lots of locals eat there and they have all kinds of food! The ambiance in the restaurant is quaint and doesn't look like hotel restaurant al all! Rooms have fridge, microwave, & coffee maker. Not within walking distance to the downtown area. Staff was wonderful. A real family owned type of atmosphere. We had many problems with our internet/Wifi. I mentioned it at the front desk when I checked out and received a very comparable refund. No questions asked. Beach was graded each day and lots of beach chairs available. I will be back!
Carrie
Front desk staff was lovely and accommodating.
ROBERT
The property's location on the water is great, but Is about the only justification for paying extra to be beachfront. As far as any other amenities are concerned, not much is offered other than beach towels and free coffee. A nice time was had but really no \" wow\" factor.
Kari
Loved the breakfast buffet on Friday am, ate at the restaurant the whole time we were there. Food was great and cost was good, better than some of our local places. Beach was well groomed. Only thing they needed was another elevator. Give 5 stars though
Teresa
Everything was very clean and up to date. Staff was very helpful and polite. Will definitely stay there again.
Mike

I loved the room and view, and spent time on the beautiful beach.

Trip was amazing but the kids running back and forth from the pool to the water was ridiculous but other than that it was amazing trip
Scott
The staff was extremely professional and courteous, the breakfast buffet had plenty of variety for everyone.

This is not the first time I stayed at Parkshore, but it was the first time I stayed during the warm weather months.
Loved having a room on the ground floor overlooking the bay. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and you can’t beat the deal for breakfast. We will be back.

First and foremost, I would like to recognize Mrs. Colleen for being such an amazing, patient, and kind person.
From the moment we arrived, she made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care truly made a difference, and we are very grateful for her outstanding service.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the beach was beautifully maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I would also like to recognize the housekeeping staff for their kindness and hard work. They were always pleasant, helpful, and did an excellent job keeping everything clean and welcoming.
I would also like to give credit to the manager, who came over promptly and addressed our concerns without hesitation. That level of attentiveness and customer service is greatly appreciated.
Mrs. Colleen has all the qualities of an excellent manager, and I have no doubt she would excel in that role. Thank you to Mrs. Colleen, the manager, and the entire staff for making our experience so enjoyable. We will definitely be back soon! 💜

ParkShore was a very family friend place to stay. My family and I were able to bbq, enjoy the beach, made some snow cones and enjoy some laughs with the staff and other guest! I would come back again.

The the staff, amenities, and cleanliness of the room made it for a wonderful night in Traverse City Michigan
Tammy
The lounge had very delicious food. Although the room was clean and spacious, if you had the door wall open the traffic noise was very loud. Would stay again but would ask for a room on the backside of the property.
Melissa
Star was a pleasure to speak with every day of our stay!

Everything was alright
Richard

Franklyn
Fine property with terrific views of the lake.
Vivek
Great location. Great view of traverse bay from a private beach if you pick room with the Bay view. Parking is included . Closer to city park beach (it’s basically extension of hotel beach.) short driving distance to downtown attractions.
Other amenities nothing great to write about. Complimentary breakfast was very limited options I have seen better options at “Inn” hotels. Good thing they aren’t charging for it (even though book in the room mentioned it’s $10 between memorial to Labor Day.)
There is a nice Mexican restaurant Red Mesa Grill within walking distance. They had , not exactly authentic, but great food including some unique fusion food options.

My parents, daughter and I stayed in two rooms for 5 days in March during a family reunion, and enjoyed our visit. We especially appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff was, the tasty weekday breakfasts, and being able to see the bay from our balcony. We also had a great supper one evening and buffet breakfast on Saturday in the ParkShore Restaurant on site. It was only an 10 minute drive into the downtown Front Street! Wonderful place to stay, and would highly recommend!

The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable. The bay view was beautiful, and we also loved having a lounge right next door that offered a great happy hour with beer and appetizers. The hotel is a little dated, but the friendly team and cozy atmosphere made our stay really enjoyable.
Kevin
Everything about my stay was satisfactory, except for the bill.
Michael
No a/c the bed is hard. Felt like we were a bother to tell the lady the ac didn’t work! The room got hot and uncomfortable to sleep.
Rachel
The continental breakfast started at 8am which was not convenient and when we did get to have it, very minimal choices.
john

Waking up and viewing the lake from my bed was the best experience. The view was absolutely stunning! Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful. The southwest egg rolls on the happy hour menu and the nachos were delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here with my family, and the check-in process was smooth and pleasant. Later that evening, I decided to try the restaurant after noticing how great the food smelled. The presentation was nice and the food itself was good.
Unfortunately, my experience took a negative turn. I later noticed an additional $9 tip added to my card that I did not authorize, which was very concerning. I also became ill that night with what seemed to be food poisoning. On top of that, I found the staff to be unfriendly and not very welcoming.
Overall, despite the nice appearance of the property, I would not recommend staying here due to these issues.

I arrived late, front desk was very accommodating. We asked for suggestions to get pizza since the restaurant was closing. The front desk told us to go talk to them. Kitchen was closing in 5 minutes but they made our pizza and wings without any complaints. Food was hot and delicious.

Clean but dated rooms---good bed and shower
Rachel
The property is very nice; so is the staff. The location was good. The room was comfortable. The hot breakfast was yummy. There were minor issues regarding cleanliness and room care. Also, the pool was chilly. The biggest negative was that the hot tub was only lukewarm and with very minimal jet propulsion, so that was very disappointing. (It is the off season so maybe that played a part, not sure). The ducks outside the door were very noisy in the morning (but cute). They appeared to be looking for food as the came right up to me on the deck. I wouldn’t likely swim in the water in warmer weather given the number of ducks in it. The attached restaurant had good pizza and excellent service. Overall I liked the hotel and enjoyed our stay.
Leila
Got in late, just before 12 midnight. Was greeted and checked in quickly, room was super clean and beautiful. I visited during the off season, so my view was of the frozen lake which i still found breathtaking. The tub in the room was clean, and i definitely sat for a while, with the cute fireplace glowing green and purple(its electric and you can customize the flames). Will definitely be looking to book here again, it also happened to be the hotel i wanted to stay in while i lived in Michigan, as a little staycation. Anyway, checked out the next day, they had the breakfast bar out and it was typical, grabbed a boiled egg and juice bc i was in a rush. They had a good variety of food and drink.
Cathy
Great breakfast and the prime rib was amazing in the restaurant too
Chris
Room was wonderful with the fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Curtains and bedding was a bit outdated. Overall a nice place for a weekend getaway
Maggie
