Very nice hotel with a great sauna that wasn’t super busy, restaurant had delicious food with a nice views, private beach on the lake was really enjoyable and even though our room was 300m up a very steep hill (and we had no car) the views were well worth it.
Only downside was there was no spa treatments or massages available as the person was on leave. This town is definitely a place where you want to indulge in such activities, especially in peak August season. Would recommend staying here.

What a beautiful area! Hotel did their best to make us comfortable. Their restaurant is quite good as well. We stayed in one of the larger rooms removed some distance from the hotel itself.

We had a fabulous stay here, the accommodation we booked with a lake view was slightly obstructed by some high trees and is 300m from the property but up a hill and further from the lake but apart from that the hotel is fabulous, the staff were very accomodating, the food and breakfast was outstanding and we had a fabulous time by the lake. Titisee and all the restaurants shops and attractions is just a short 15 minute walk away.

Excellent! 10/10. We took a family trip: myself, partner, 2 year old daughter and our dog. The hotel was perfect for us and the staff very friendly! It was a relaxing, effortless stay.
The only issue we encounters was not being able to dine at the restaurant both nights due to them being fully booked. It would have been great when checking in to be prompted to book in advance. Fortunately, it was possible to head into town and have dinner without incident.

Charming Hotel with a Great Staff
Great hotel on Lake Titisee that has an older German charm to it. The rooms were clean and had great views of he lakes. The entire staff from check-in, dining, and check out were extremely friendly. They've got a good wine selection and the restaurant's four course meals are reasonably priced.
We booked this location to cross country ski and the area didn't disappoint. They have booklets/pamphlets in the lobby with info on cross country skiing trails in the area. One of which is only a few minutes drive from the hotel. You can also download the Hochschwarz wald app to get trail info on your phone.
I recommend this hotel if you're looking for a nice place to stay with a very good restaurant on the premise and outdoor activities nearby.

got food poisoning on the second day after an evening meal.Flies and wasps on lots of the food at breakfast. spent the 3 days in the room. Doctor called, came but not sure he was a real doctor as did not know how to use blood pressure and oxygen monitors!! kept trying to say it was a circulation problem not food related. Since we both were suffering this was very strange.2 friendly staff and a very unfriendly manager...would not recommend staying here

The setting of the hotel on the shores of Lake Titisee is wonderful. The view from our corner room looking across the lake to the hills of the Black Forest was great! The food both at breakfast and dinner was excellent. Although the weather was mostly overcast and rainy, we were able to walk into town and enjoy the shops. A fantastic 2 day weekend stay!

While traveling in Germany, we stayed many places. I wish we could have stayed longer here. Set in a beautiful setting, overlooking the lake, WOW is all I can say. We were thrilled with the service and the continental breakfast was 5 stars! When we go back to Germany, we will stay here again!!

A beautiful location and a well-kept hotel add up to a great experience. We stayed in one of the apartments up the hill from the main hotel -- a little hard to find in the dark but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast on the sunny porch overlooking the lake was so memorable -- my kids are still talking about it.

This was a great hotel, right on Lake Titisee. The breakfast buffet was huge, with lots of choices, from eggs, bacon, sausage to cereals, yogurt and breads, luncheon meats and cheeses. There is a small, indoor pool and a large sauna. We were in one of the villas, up the street, which was huge and very nice, but there is no wireless up there and it's not so convenient to the restaurant and pool in the main hotel as you have to drive. But, no complaints because it had a kitchen which was good for traveling with three children. Would definitely go back. Nice, friendly staff.

Very nice room off the beaten path. About 30 min. from Freiburg. Room was in large home with studio apt's. with kitchenettes. This wasn't clear in the room description. It is located in a small neighborhood close to hotel. There is not much to the town of Titisee. The hotel lobby and restaurant are very nice and the staff very helpful. The breakfast buffet (incl. with room) is fantastic! Hotel guests can ride trains and buses in the region for free--a big plus. The only complaint is I couldn't get the TV/Satellite to work. They were supposed to fix, but didn't.

we didn't see the rooms in the main building, but we stayed in one of the apartments for 4 nights, and it was perfect! remote, overlooking the lake, with a lovely balcony, but a short 10 minute walk into town...all for a great price--and the staff was kind and incredibly accommodating. we can't recommend this place more! we will definitely be back someday...

While speaking a little german I tried to call and tell the hotel that I would be late arriving to the hotel. I called three times and the man on the other line hung up on me every time. Though this was irritating, I did not have any further problems with the hotel staff. The hotel itself is located on a very lovely lake with a scenic view. However, my family and I were placed in a villa shared with several other tenants further away from the lake. The villas were nice but poorly furnished. The hotel restaurant was nice and a pleasant surprise for my family. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and wonderful service.

Ich durfte in diesem Hotel meinen Geburtstag feiern das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich. Mein Zimmer war riesig. Es war das Zimmer 405 im Nebengebäude. Die Aussicht direkt auf dem See ist wirklich klasse und das Frühstück ist auch fabelhaft empfangen wurden wir mit einem Glas Sekt und sogar einem kleinen Geburtstagskuchen sowie Deko auf dem Tisch zu meinem Geburtstag einfach nur toll eine ganz klare Empfehlung Personal herausragend freundlich! Ganz besonders gefreut hat mich eine kleine Holzbox vor der Tür, die ich nach dem ausstehen entdeckt habe. In dieser Box war ein kleiner Wake Up Snack für einen guten Start in den Morgen

Opholdet startede lidt skidt efter en for os lang dag på vejen, hvor vi ankom kl 21.30 efter uvejr i Freiburg osv. Receptionisten kunne ikke finde vores reservation, og mente ikke, vi havde noget værelse der. Vi måtte dokumentere vores reservation, inden vi endelig fik vores nøgle osv.
Det er rigtig fint med en morgenmadspakke ved døren, og morgenmaden er rigtig god med udendørs seating og view over Titisee, meget fint. Vi blev 2 af morgenerne betjent af en meget serviceorienteret kvinde.
Restaurantoplevelsen den 16. juli var dog ikke specielt god, vi havde bestilt bord i forvejen, men fik et af de ringeste borde i restauranten, og servicen lod noget tilbage at ønske.

Das Hotel liegt schön gelegen abseits jeglicher Zivilisation. Trotzdem stellt das Hotel nicht sicher, dass das Restaurant über ausreichend Kapazität für die Hausgäste verfügt. Bei der Anreise erzählte man uns, dass es leider nicht möglich sei, im Hotel zu essen, da man auch externe Gäste zum Abendessen hätte und man aufgrund von krankheitsbedingten Abwesenheiten keine weiteren Reservationen annehmen könne.
Das Problem des Hotels wird somit einfach auf den (gut) zahlenden Hausgast abgeschoben. Zudem war selbst auf Nachfrage niemand bereit, sich um eine Reservation in einem umliegenden Restaurant zu kümmern. Eine umgehende Beschwerde an die Geschäftsführung war ebenso wenig möglich, da offenbar niemand von der Geschäftsführung anwesend war.
Statt entspannt in das kurzentschlossene Relax-Weekend zu starten, mussten wir uns also zuerst durch die Restaurants in Titisee telefonieren, bis wir schliesslich doch noch einen Tisch zum Abendessen fanden. Notabene war diese Alternative mit jeweils einem 15 minütigen Fussmarsch hin und zurück verbunden.
Ausserdem ist die Beschreibung «Eingeschränkter Seeblick» bzw. «Ausblick auf den See (Teilblick)» sehr gewagt. Der See lässt sich höchsten eingeschränkt erblicken, wenn man auf den Balkon geht, ohne den Balkon zu betreten ist es schlicht unmöglich den See zu sehen.
Fazit: beschönigende Zimmerbeschreibung und mieser Service, definitiv den Preis und die 4 Sterne nicht wert.

Hôtel idéalement situé au bord du lac avec une jolie vue à 1,5 km du centre de Titisee. A seulement 15 minutes du Feldberg. Excellent accueil. Chambre spacieuse avec un très bon petit déjeuner. Grand parking.

Schönes Hotel direkt am Titisee. Betten sind gut und Frühstück war sehr lecker. Wir kamen erst abends um Mitternacht an, auch das war kein Problem. Es war jemand da um uns zu empfangen. Herzlichen Dank.

Das Hotel Alemannenhof liegt direkt am Titisee in wunderschöner Lage, die Zimmer mit Seeblick sind sehr lohnenswert. Die Ausstattung in den Zimmern ist neu und hochwertig. Der Gastraum und die Lobby sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail sehr einladend und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns einfach nur wohl gefühlt und haben sehr gut geschlafen. Können das Hotel nur empfehlen.

Mais l'eau de la piscine était froide donc on n'a pas pu l'utiliser : dommage, c'est un des aspects qui nous a fait choisir l'hotel et qui justifiait aussi le prix...
Autre point : il n'est pas possible de rejoindre le centre de Titisee à pieds en longeant le bord du lac

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen, direkt am See. Die Zimmer sind hochwertig ausgestattet, einige haben sehr schönen Seeblick. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielfältig, Personal im Restaurant freundlich und bemüht (beim Abendessen muss man allerdings etwas Zeit mitbringen, da es manchmal sehr langsam geht). Großer Minuspunkt ist leider die Pool- und Wellnessanlage: der Pool ist klein und scheinbar seit den 70er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts nicht renoviert worden. Der Putz bröckelt von den Wänden, die Anlage wirkt insgesamt vernachlässigt. Es gibt eine Faßsauna im Garten mit schöner Aussicht, die aber sehr klein ist. Kältebecken etc. gibt es nicht. Die Beautyanlage war während unseres Aufenthalts geschlossen, man konnte also keine Anwendungen buchen. Fazit: wenn man einen Wellnessurlaub machen möchte, ist das Hotel eher nicht geeignet; dank der schönen Lage ist es aber ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung.

Nous sommes restés dans le chalet annexe avec un parking au sous-sol, la chambre était moyennement chauffée (pas possible de régler soi-même). Nous étions tout de même tres satisfaites jusqu’à 24h avant notre départ on a la personne de la chambre d’à côté qui a fait des bosses à notre véhicule dépose vers 22h30 le soir et repris le lendemain matin 9h pour descendre a l’hôtel principal pour déjeuner - la personne de l’accueil très peu aimable - limite elle nous a prise pour des menteuses, on s’est sentie mal… il n’y a pas de caméra pour appuyer nos dire nous avons envoyé les photos (la personne avait quittée l’hôtel d’après elle) la seule chose que nous avons reçus est un e-mail disant c’est pas elle! Nous plaque française, l’autre véhicule allemande…on a sentie vraiment sentie ça comme ça…un vrai manque de respect, ça nous a beaucoup affectés alors que tout le reste du personnel du checkin à la salle de déjeuner était vraiment super sympa y compris la responsable réservation… dommage pour celle qui nous a fais nous sentir mal à l’aise… ça nous a gâché tout
