Parts of the hotel are tired, but the bedrooms are in good condition. Bed very comfortable and an excellent shower. Food was ok, nothing special but fine, though the milk at breakfast wasn't great. Great location, though can't see why they needed to charge us to park in their car park.

Nice hotel on Lake, great views

I enjoyed my two-night stay at the Maritim. Their morning breakfast buffet is quite comprehensive - something for everyone and more. Beautiful scenery looking out toward Lake. Lakeside running trail nearby. The street connecting it to the rest of the village is mostly for pedestrians so the vehicle access by small country roads from the other direction can be challenging at night without gps to guide you.

Wunderschöner Kurztrip

Wir hatten 2 Nächte vom 06.01.-08.01. für 2 Erwachsene und einer 17-Jährigen mit Halbpension in diesem Hotel gebucht. Das Hotel war für diese Jahreszeit gut gebucht, trotzdem wurde unser Anliegen wegen der Zimmergröße umgehend, und viel besser als wir erwarten konnten, von Frau Fitterling gelöst. Das Personal (Rezeption, Kellner, Zimmer) war absolut freundlich. Wir fanden das Flair dieses Hotels so schön, so wie man sich ein Hotel im Schwarzwald vorstellt. Es liegt fast am Ende der verkehrsberuhigten Straße und direkt am See. Toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge oder Wanderungen um den See. Das Frühstücksbuffet, sowie das Buffet am Abend waren sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Das Schwimmbad haben wir nicht genutzt, wäre aber möglich gewesen. Dagegen hatten wir ein paar schöne Stunden beim Kegeln und Billard.
Sollten wir nochmals in der Nähe vom Titisee sein, werden wir definitiv wieder dieses Hotel buchen!!

Unhelpful staff upon learning the spa was completely booked (no mention of being on a wait list, spa suggestions in the local area, etc). Had to ask multiple times for the staff to call the bartender as it was difficult to find staff in the bar. Pool was tiny and extremely cold, its ok to have a cold pool if there is a nice hot tub or sauna nearby or it is a lap pool to work out in but this pool was just sad. Overall, decent location and view, but overall this hotel did not live up to the four star hotel rating.

The view is super! Rooms are comfortable and spa- fitness are really pleasant. Breakfast is good, though I would have preferred more thorough cleaning when new occupants are seated. The dinner we had upon arrival was no high light to say the least. Reception staff are efficient and very helpful. Try to get a room facing the lake!

A nightmare

Although I had paid for the full amount of my stay, when we arrived to check in, the hotel could not find our reservation! So a miscommunication somehow between Hotels.com and the hotel! After an hour of haggling (even although I had my confrimation in my hand) they found a room for us and told us we still had to pay €600!! I had paid the reservation amount in full before our arrival. Eventually after much negotiation it was resolved. Only for the same issue to crop up again when we checked out! Again eventually resolved after a lengthy debate.

Excellent location on the lake and centre of town. Rooms are dated but fine. Worth paying for a lake view as the views are stunning. Only ate breakfast but it was very good. Didn’t use the facilities but there was a indoor pool, games room and bowling lane. The town is very touristy but closes down pretty quickly in the evening so ideal for a peaceful getaway but not if you want things to do at night.
Only downside was the maids bang on the door at 9am so make sure you use the ‘Do not disturb’ sign if you want a lie in. There are also no tea making facilities so perhaps bring a travel kettle if this is something important to you. I think not having it made us want it more! The chocolate on the pillow each morning was a nice touch as well as the dressing gown provided.

A bit overpriced. No tea or coffee in the rooms. Mattress was too soft. The table and chair in the balcony were not cleaned since a long time..

Location is very good, you can access the lake from the basement of the hotel as well. Quite centrally located in the town and very near to eateries and the lake for boat cruise around, which is free with hotel pass. Also a good base to explore the surroundings.ha d good trekking around the lake and also in the nearby forest area. Morning are quiet and peaceful.;within walking distance to bus stops from Freiburg and walkable to the Flixbus bus stop at the Badeparadies.. with the hotel card can also go to feldberg and ride the cable car for free. We bought room with breakfast and breakfast has a good spread. Good lesiurely stay. Condition of room is not new and no aircondition as well, we left the window open and luckily weather is quite cool so sleeping without blanket still not too hot.

Lovely hotel right on lakeside with beautiful lake views. Paid 5euro for a card pass which allowed us to visit many places for free. Cable car, mini golf, lake trip on boat. Great value. Then your 5 euro was returned at end of your stay. Definitely recommend getting this. Only downside to the room was no kettle to make a cuppa.

Good traditional hotel

The hotel was perfect as a base for a short break. We were here in February and the frozen lake was beautiful. The hotel itself is a very traditional style and the rooms could do with a refresh if critical but otherwise we were both pleased. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the pool/sauna were good for a short relaxation. The tourist card was an excellent touch (not just for this hotel). We didn't use the restaurant for an evening meal but be aware that when we were there the whole town doesn't really serve food much past 9pm so plan this into your day. Overall we really liked this hotel and the surrounding area and the quiet hotel was a great place to unwind.

Great little restaurant in great location

Hotel room was beautiful with an amazing balcony overlooking the lake. The checkin was smooth and very helpful.
As Titisee is predominantly a summer destination most of the restaurants in town were closed for annual leave we decided to eat at the bar. Unfortunately though I asked for a club sandwich without bacon it arrived with bacon pieces on the plate. The waiter told me it was to one side and to just ignore it.....why can the chef not listen to the customer? I understand that Germany mostly has restaurants with lots of red meat but some people don't eat meat for dietary or religious reasons, I believe this should be respected. The French Fries also had a smell of bacon from they and therefore inedible. The chicken in the sandwich was processed and tasted like sawdust. My husband only ate half of his beef burger and fries...it was totally tasteless.
Suprisingly, breakfast was amazing with loads of variety for all tastes. The service at breakfast was also excellent.
Overall we will definitely stay there again as we love the huge spa which is nearby. Great place for couples, friends, and singles.

Pleasant Lakeside Hotel

Enjoyed staying at Maritime Titisee-Neustadt Hotel. A few issues that would have improved the experience: 1) I booked two single (double bed) comfort rooms but there was only one double room ready when my friend and I arrived. I had to email my booking details to the hotel and then they sorted my friend and I with the appropriate rooms; 2) the local cards that gave you free or reduced entry to various local attractions which are issued and authorised by the hotel didn’t work for the first 2-3 days of our stay but were eventually sorted out; 3) we were given a code for the car park/ pool etc. and told it was good for the whole of Jan only to find it had been changed the first day of our stay. That said staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful. Things just seemed rather disorganised. And staff didn’t know much about local queries, e.g. entry to local pool, dining out, skiing options. All the basics were in place however and we enjoyed our break.

Location on the Titisee was excellent. Rooms require updating for 4 star suite, but not too bad considering this is an older resort town. The breakfast was fantastic. The laundry service is excellent, but very expense - 70+ Euros for 6 shirts/sock pairs/underwear and 2 pants.

a shocking experience

1- the rooms are not clean need renovation
2- the old style heavy metal hotel keys
3- the old style TV box. not LCD or LED
4- the swimming pool and fitness are never touched since the hotel started
5- Breakfast was acceptable but juice was not always available, as well as bread
6- the bathroom is very old and need to be renovated
7- the whole hotel needs renovation
8- three hours after our check out, we received an email from the hotel claiming for 1500 euros compensation of a damaged carpet due to spills from a wine bottle. that room was our daughters' where the eldes was 15 years old and never drank wine. This case is still open!!
9-we do not recommend this hotel to anyone. be careful of the surprises!!!

A bit of a 70s monstrosity, but with comfortable rooms, a good pool and gym area, a great buffet breakfast and a lovely location. The staff were friendly, and it's a nice little town, if somewhat touristy. It's not a 4/5 star experience though.

i don't think the people who worked there knew the area. i asked a few questions and they looked at me like i was crazy.
the hotel was not worth the price i paid. i'm just glad i stayed there for one night.
the hotel was on the edge of the main street which is not very long at all. i walked from one end to the other in 5 minutes. driving to the hotel might be a bit tricky. at first i felt like i was driving through a walkplatz because crowds of people were walking on the road and i was cutting through them.
you can take a boat or rent one about 10 meters from the hotel. there's a number of restraunts and gift stores there.
it's probably about 40 minutes from triberg which is where the waterfall is. the huge cuckoo clock.
you can take a train to a few towns which i highly recommend. you can see beautiful parts of the black forest that you can't drive. going through the tunnels was amazing. the hotel gives you a ticket pass which was nice.
breakfast was a bit too much on my budget

Lovely Lakeside Getaway

Titisee is a lovely little lakeside town in the Black Forest, and the Maritime is beautifully situated on the lakefront at the end of the main street. Everything you'd need for a relaxing getaway is within walking distance, and it's a lovely drive or train ride to get to many other Black Forest towns.

The hotel hasn't been updated for a couple of decades, but this honestly doesn't take away from the charm at all. We were happily surprised to be given a double room - essentially two rooms with one set up as a bedroom and the other as a sitting room. Each room had a balcony, as well.

Although the beds were small, they were comfortable. The shower stalls were on the small side but had great water pressure.

The breakfast buffet was very nice, although there was some confusion about whether or not the breakfast was included with the room (it was, but check your reservation). The dining room overlooks the lake, and although we didn't eat dinner in the restaurant, the menu looked good.

We did not take advantage of the spa services as we were out exploring the Black Forest, but I would definitely do this on the next trip! We would happily stay here again, hopefully in the warmer summer months.

The hotel staff were very friendly and all were fluent in either French or English for those who did not speak German. Very helpful from the check in, dining room staff and maid service. The hotel is in the pedestrian village on the lake with great access to shops and dining, although we had dinner at the hotel every night because the restaurant was so good. Breakfast buffeet and dinner we leave you with no desire for lunch. The view of the lake from our room was picture perfect. They have a gated private parking lot. Great pool and suana and hot tub.

The lounge has a nice bar with emntertainment on the weekends. The bartender was very willing to discuss German politics and explain what we we watching on German TV News. One issue was the internet is useless. Snail mail is fater there.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is situated right on Lake Titisee and is close to the shopping facilities and restaurants. It is definitely worth paying a bit more for a room with a view of the lake. We found the staff friendly and polite, the room spotless, and the sizeable car park meant it was easy to find a parking space. The hotel and Titisee provided the perfect contrast to our earlier stay in Strasbourg. We'll be back.

Quarto limpo, funcionários atenciosos, bela vista para I Lago e café da manhã bem variado.
Tive alguns contratempos para eles entenderem que eu havia feito a reserva com meia pensão, mas ao fim deu certo.
A área de recreação pode receber mais atenção. O boliche não funcionava bem, não tinha raquete de ping pong e a bola do pinball estava rachada. Não havia peças para jogar o air hockey.

Das Zimmer war gut, die Aussicht auf den See grandios. Das Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber alles sauber.

Wellness für mich klar ungenügend, alles sehr alt und lieblos. Sauna während unseres Aufenthalts defekt, hätte mich aber auch nicht gereizt zu gehen.

Kegelanlage und Billard ebenfalls sehr alt.

Das Essen im Hotelrestaurant ist extrem teuer, wir haben es nicht probiert. Der zum Hotel gehörige Biergarten ist schön gelegen. Aber das Essen: Als Currywurst bekamen wir eine lauwarme gekümmelte Bratwurst, sowas ekliges habe ich noch nie serviert bekommen. Die Lokale in der Umgebung sind alle touristisch ausgerichtet, man bekommt keine einheimische Küche.
Das Hotelzimmer war sehr sauber und frisch renoviert, nur der Balkon könnte auch eine Renovierung gebrauchen.
Das Schwimmbad war super, da gibt es gar nichts zu meckern.

Tolle Lage des Hotels mit eigenem Zugang zum See! Das Frühstück hatte eine große Auswahl an Speisen und das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Wir würden dem Hotel allerdings raten die Teppiche zu tauschen. Wenn man den Raum betrat, hatte man das Gefühl es waren noch Teppiche aus Raucherzeiten. Und auch eine der Matratzen war bereits durchgelegen.

Wir hatten ein Comfort Premium Doppelzimmer mit Seeblick, was sehr zu empfehlen ist. Viel Raum, tolles Bad mit Badewanne, Dusche, Bidet, zwei Waschbecken, Bademäntel, reichlich Handtücher. Das Zimmer hatte eine kleine Ankleideecke und eine extra Tür zum Eingangsbereich und eine Terrasse, die von außen total abgeschirmt war.
Das Frühstück war super, verschiedene Brote und Brötchen, warme Sachen, Wurst, Schinken, Käseplatte, frisches Obst, Obstsalat, Joghurt und Quark, Müslis und Körner, Pancakes, Kuchen, schöne Teesorten, Säfte, Kaffeeautomat.

Seul bémol les fumeurs qui laissaient les portes ouvertes pour aller fumer sur les escaliers de secours (quand il fait 2° dehors c'est limite !). Im gesamten ein gutes Hotel das aber an gewissen Stellen einer Renovierung bedarf. Das Hotel hat einen leichten 80ger Jahre Charme - was nicht zwangsläufig negativ ist. Mein Zimmer hatte z.B. keine Klimaanlage und für die Lüftung wurde ein Eisenriegel in den Türstock der Balkontür gedreht damit man diese einen Spalt über Nacht offen lassen konnte. Service und Personal sind lobenswert, ebenso das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet.

Lokalität hervorragend, Hotel braucht Renovierung

Die Lage am See mit direkt Zugang und kleinen Stränden ist super. Frühstück war auch toll, Zimmer recht sauber und verhältnässigmässig modern. Matratze ziemlich unbequem, irgendwie zu hart.
Dem Hotel sieht man an, dass es schon bessere Tage gehabt hat, insb. Pool und Sauna sind in schlechtem Zustand und dreckig. Bis man schon nur rausfindet, wie man überhaupt zum Pool kommt (Türöffner befindet sich auf 2m Höhe neben der Türe...). Auch Fitnessraum ist heillos veraltet. Lifte sehr eng und klein.
Aufgrund der Lage trotzdem empfehlenswert, wenn man zu gewissen Abstrichen bereit ist.

Un peu déçu : 3 chambres réservées en même temps, 3 étages différents, c'est un peu exagéré - Pas de peignoir ni de chausson dans les chambres confort alors que c'est noté dans le descriptif, le supplément est de 10 euros pour 1 peignoir - Pas de possibilité de dîner, à l'hôtel ou en ville, si ce n'est pas réservé longtemps à l'avance et tous les magasins ferment à 18h donc pas possible de faire des courses pour manger en chambre, heureusement que nous avions prévu quelques biscuits et cacahuètes !!! Parking payant
Points positifs : petit déjeuner varié et délicieux, piscine ouverte 24/24h bien qu'un peu petite, environnement très agréable

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche im Maritim, besonders haben wir das Upgrade genossen. Da meine Tochter Diabetikerin ist, läutet nachts öfter ihre Insulinpumpe, was mich wegen der getrennten Zimmer nun nicht im Schlaf störte! Tausend Dank dafür!

Insgesamt waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt zufrieden ( Note: Gut). Ausstattung Hotelzimmer passt und insgesamt gut. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück sehr gut mit großer Auswahl. Abendessen (Speisekarte oder Buffet) gut, jedoch im Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für unser Empfinden im Preis etwas zu hoch. Getränkeauswahl gut, jedoch teilweise Getränke für unser Empfinden im Preis zu hoch.

Trotzdem gerne wieder

wir sind nach 11 Jahren zurück. Leider ist der Zugang zu den Wellness Angeboten immernoch nur über den Aussenbereich möglich. Das Bad wurde vorzüglich Renoviert. Das Essen (HP) und das Frühstücksbuffet waren sehr fein und grosszügig. Leider erwischten wir einen Abend mit Umstellung im Service. NE dauerte 2 1/2 Std. Aber wir kommen wieder. Auch wegen der herrlichen Lage.

Meinen Aufenthalt habe ich sehr genossen.Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Das Zimmer war auch schön und sauber. Service und Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Es gibt eine grosse Auswahl beim Büffet.
Wenn der Wellnessbereich noch etwas ausgebaut wird und eventuell noch eine Bio Sauna, wäre perfekt.

spa wellness wird angepriesen. es hat ein hallenbad sauna ab 16/17 uhr muss bezahlt werden. kein spa ist zur zeit nicht verfügbar. wird bis oben schlecht damit umgegangen.
aussicht und frühstück sind gut. ich werde aber niemals wieder gehen.
