Hotel is great. Staff at check in was knowledgeable. They speak perfect English and procedure was smooth and very quick.

Room is big enough with a nice view. Bathroom was perfectly clean with all amenities which you may need. Bed was comfortable and pillows was soft.

Nice gesture was complimentary bottle of water.

Good Hotel but strange

Hotel was good but felt like it was abandoned. Pool closed and surrounds all closed down and construction going on. Often at breakfast more staff than customers.

in the bar only one choice of beer and very little else.

When we first went to our room after a smooth 17:30 check in, there was a repairman there who still needed to finish a task. We had to return to the lobby to be assigned another room. The front desk personnel were helpful and even accompanied us on the elevator to our new room. Unfortunately, the new room was not stocked with basic toiletries such as hand soap.

Comfortable aging hotel for weekend stay

The hotel is quite old(you can tell from the wear and tare) breakfast was ok but not a lot of options. The staffs all seem to have some sort of attitude. They say it’s from 6:30, but you can’t find staffs working most of the time. And no want cleans the tables so 90% of empty seats have left over food, it’s bad. Room itself was good, got upgraded, not so bad for its price. But cigarette smells in the elevator and lobby/conference area was a huge turn off. They have smoking rooms, so I guess those people just don’t give a damn and decide to smoke wherever they want, and staffs can really care less. The toilet was badly clogged, it takes 4 drains to flush. Overall comfortable for a weekend stay, but won’t expect a lot. Front desk staffs were friendly and helpful though.

appalling!!! Had to take my luggage up to the hotel room myself. No one spoke a singe word of english. They did not know what what ice is!!! No communication skills at all. would not recommend anyone staying in this hotel. When i arrived at the hotel i booked for 2 nights, they said they only has a booking for 1 night.

Classic Style, worth a try

Excellent Binjiang location. Loved the hillside views, the stout train whistles and spacious quiet room. Wish the outside windows were clean. Wish the Dry and Steam sauna were steam cleaned with pressure wash. Loved the breakfast buffet and room service was excellent. Even visited by F&B Mngr was nice.

Booked for 2 nights in July, and due to missing a flight could not make the first night. I called around 4pm and advised them - they said I'd be charged anyway, which I expected. I confirmed I would be there for the following night. When I arrived, they said I didn't have the king size bed that I'd booked, even though they'd charged me for it the night before! So I was left with a single bed. No discounts. They offered 2 beers at the bar to make up for it, but all they had was a warm local beer that was literally undrinkable. So don't come here.

Good business hotel @ Hangzhou

Stayed here for a night while on a business trip to Hangzhou. Conveniently located close to the river and many businesses, but hard to find many food options. The breakfast spread is pretty good - featuring a wide range of local Chinese food as well as usual western options. Room was big, and well appointed. Decent WiFi connectivity. In short, a very good option @ Hangzhou for a business stay.

Best hotel stay ever in China

I was impressed with the staff servicing me at all contact points: Receptionists, Duty Managers, F&B Managers, Operators, Room Cleaners, Door Bell Staff. They are all very courteous, helpful and gave excellent services.

Very clean, comfortable and modern room.

Good Breakfast items and F&B Manager, Mr Bruce, is simply Awesome. Greet us by our surname and helped us with take away breakfast bags when we are in a rush of time.

Pretty, but disappointing. Don't judge a book...

Check in was smooth as they easily found my reservation. The check in staff were warm and welcome. They told me they were giving me a free upgrade, though I didn't see any difference between the room I ordered and the room I got. The air conditioning worked fine. The bed was firm, but not hard, adequate for sleeping, pretty good for China. The bathroom was rather dark, but fine enough for having a hot shower. I rarely order room service when away, but because of the time constraints of this trip, I decided to fill out the card and order room service for breakfast. I chose an omelette which was supposed to come with my choice of 3 accompanying sides. I filled out the card and selected my 3 sides. I also chose to order a deluxe continental breakfast as I wanted some pastries and a coffee. When breakfast came up, there was an omelette on one plate and 3 tiny danish on another. No sides. No sausage, no bacon, no potatoes, no butter, jam or honey as promised. Just an omelette and 3 tiny pastries. For the price of about $13 each, plus tax and sc. Hugely disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. And considering how well my arrival had gone. I had asked about a taxi for 9am to get to the train, the night bellman told me it was not a problem and they'd arrange it. Next morning, no taxi, because they said it was rush hour. One did finally come. Given all the options there are in Hangzhou, I'll likely try somewhere else next time, as I've seen other nice looking places for cheaper.

Hotel was good, English was hard

Hotel and staff were friendly and clean, however dealing with issues like lost baggage was made even more stressful as English concierge was hard to find or hard to understand.
Request all things to be translated and written down.

Taxi in local area are old and rough, request new, clean car if required, some drives are 1 hour plus long.

Good value for money. Decent hotel.

Clean, comfy room. My room unfortunately was facing the train station, which could be a bit noisy at times. Otherwise, good service. Needs to improve staff's English standard as my other English speak colleagues had a hard time to simply order food in the restaurant and ended up leaving the hotel hungry... Breakfast spread was good and service was prompt. Good value overall.

Trouble with the A/C

We had trouble with the air conditioner. Apparently during winter they shut off the central A/C for all rooms. First day we got there was not a cold day outside. We normally like our room to be around 20 degrees C. Without the A/C working the ambient temperature was around 24 which is too hot for us. They moved us to other rooms but all of them were the same, after a while they told us that all rooms had only fan function working because on winter they 'close' the A/C for all rooms. The days after the outside temperature was colder so we managed opening some windows to cool the room to our liking.

The lighting in the hotel was inadequate. There is an obvious language barrier for English-speaking guests at the hotel. Communication with hotel employees is challenging. The food at the hotel restaurant is terrible. The bar in the hotel has a poor beer selection.

Nice for business, not for tourists.

This is actually a very nice hotel. Good views. Clean. Nice lobby. Full sized pool. And a friendly staff. The only issue is if you are a tourist and not going to the near-by technology park/businesses, its far from the lake. If you are looking for a closer place with good airport access, then this is the place.

단, 관광지나 시내는 매우 멀다. 서호는 택시로 30위안 내외...
전철 4호선 빈장역 이용해 항저우동역 이용 가능하나, 호텔서 역까지 도보로 5~6백미터 됨.
호텔 건물 별도에 수영장과 헬스장이 있으며, 수영장은 1.9미터 깊이도 있으니 애들과 이용시 별도풀장 이용 필요.
직원 매우 친절함. 영어는 보통 수준임
내부에 식당 있으나 이용하진 못함.
반경 1백미터 내 맥도날드와 편의점, 인도식당이 있어 중국음식 안 맞으면 이용하면 됨
미니바는 정말 허접하니, 주변 편의점 활용 필요
택시 잘 안 잡히니 호텔측에 출발 전 미리 요청할 것. 또한, 체크아웃 후에도 짐 맡기는 게 가능하니 잘 활용하면, 좋을 듯
항저우 여행 1일 패키지가 없음. 1일 패키지는 시내호텔에 있다고 함, 필요시 문의 필요
