Very walkable location, central to lots of food/things to do. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean, with super nice and accommodating staff (Issac is the best!). The pool is pretty small, definitely not for swimming and mostly just for lounging/kids. The restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is so delicious it’s worth it! Still dreaming of their chicken alfredo. Sadly our trip was cut short and we only stayed one night instead of two, the hotel doesn’t allow refunds, but we would definitely stay again and were sad we missed our second night!
(The laundry service was also super articulate for how inexpensive it was - around $15USD for an entire laundry bag full).

I can’t say enough amazing things about this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The building is absolutely beautiful—charming on the outside and rich with history on the inside. The ambiance, service, and food were all top-tier, making this one of my favorite hotel stays to date. 😍👌

We were warmly welcomed by a gentleman at the reception (unfortunately, I didn’t get his name). He immediately made us feel at home—offering welcome drinks, assisting with our luggage, and ensuring we had plenty of water for the night. His kindness truly set the tone for our visit.

And then—Miguel. What a gem! He was by far the standout of our stay. Miguel went above and beyond in every interaction: his attentiveness, his knowledge of the restaurant menu, and his genuine desire to make our stay perfect did not go unnoticed. He deserves every bit of recognition this hotel can give.

If you're planning a visit to León, do yourself a favor and stay here. The hospitality, the character, and the overall experience are simply incredible. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The property had a good location, however the rooms need updates and the staff did not honor my initial reservation as a VIP guest, we had to ask for a city view and our welcome drinks. It seems like they were trying to short change everything. Even the toilet paper was limited. The breakfast area was the best thing and it was included so that was nice. It’s not what the reviews said this hotel was. I will not stay there again.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel in Nicaragua, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The property itself is stunning—comfortable rooms, great amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere—but what truly made my stay unforgettable was the incredible service.

A special thank you to Francisco at the concierge desk. He went above and beyond to make sure every detail of my trip was smooth and enjoyable. From helping with local recommendations to making last-minute arrangements, Francisco was professional, kind, and genuinely cared about making my stay exceptional.

I also want to recognize Isaac and Miguel, two of the servers who stood out for their warm hospitality and attentiveness. They made every meal feel like a special occasion and always greeted me with a smile. Their service added a personal touch that made all the difference.

This hotel is already amazing, but the staff takes it to another level. I highly recommend staying here—you’ll be in excellent hands.

Beautiful building, friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable, good AC and hot water. Cute little pool and patios. Safely walkable to main sites, convenience store nearby. Breakfast was good too (takes a while to cook, so acct for that). Because it is such a brautiful building, locals seem to host events/parties on site, but not too late.

I had an amazing experience at Hotel La Perla! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. I want to give special thanks to Milton Torres at the front desk—his warm welcome and helpful attitude made check-in smooth and stress-free.

During my stay, I also had the pleasure of being served by Jose Fletes and Jose Lindo in the restaurant. Both were incredibly attentive, professional, and made every meal feel special with their friendly service.

The hotel is centrally located within the town center. It’s a beautiful old colonial building very clean and well kept. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Service was exceptional I would stay here again for sure. The coffee in the morning is the best I have had in Nicaragua they will make you a French press or pour over. Lovely hotel and setting in an antique building. Our room was fine, could have benefited from a fridge but other wise just fine. There is a small pool which was nice to cool down in. Breakfast was fine, there is a free offering and some paid options but we were never given a menu to choose. We didn’t try the restaurant but there is a nice bar with a tasteful pool table. Just a short walk from the main cathedral square but quiet.

My stay was quite comfortable. There was some work going on to the exterior of the building, but other than that, the place was very clean. I think perhaps a large floor fan in the lobby and some soft music may be a nice touch.But the staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

La Perla is such a old style luxurious feel in the center of the beautiful colonial city of León. The rooms and property was beautiful. The front desk agent went above and beyond by ensuring we were comfortable and taken care of. The breakfast that is included was fantastic and fresh. Love this hotel!

Love this hotel which is very close to the Cathedral and have only a few suggestions for management. From the moment I checked in until the moment I left I was pleased in every way. On day two they even went out of their way to provide ice tea which is not on their menu. So keep the offering tea and add crispy bacon to a breakfast as a choice. Too many western guest not to offer it.

Nice hotel right in the heart of Leon. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very safe. It isn't mentioned in the booking details, but the hotel features guarded private parking directly across the street. The church is right next door, and that ring that bell about 30 times at like 5am, 6am, and 7am.

The shower head in our room didn't work and when I told the reception they just shurgged it off. Our deadbolt didn't work either - told the main and again nothing was done. Also, the pool was out of commission and they did not tell us we had to discover when we went to see it. I sent a email to them and they said I should have told them - I did.
