An Excellent Choice

Our first stay at the Tudanca, Miranda de Ebro, did not disappoint. Our room was clean and very comfortable.

The staff were pleasant and went that further mile to assist my husband, who has some walking difficulties.

I have seen elsewhere bad reviews, especially concerning the meals, but those reviewers must have mistaken the Tudanca for another hotel, as our meals were cooked to perfection and presented beautifully.

Definitely on our revisit list.

Stayed for one night, while traveling through Spain.
Good service from staff at reception. Our room was comfortable and clean, with spare pillows and bedding if required.

Good as a truck stop!

The hotel looked better from the photos and description but, in truth, is a bit run down and in a very run down area. The hotel reception staff were not rude but not very welcoming.

The restaurant looked pretty good and the fixed price menu was good value, except the food was lukewarm at best. That said, it was very wholesome and the inclusive wine was better than expected.

The room was spacious but needed updating, the bed was comfortable but dressed with sheets, a very dusty blanket and a throw rather than a duvet. One very long pillow rather than individual pillows was a bit strange too.

Breakfast was pretty poor but very cheap. Not the worst hotel but wouldn’t stay there again. Sorry

Perfect stop over hotel

Hotel on main road , with easy parking , is very good for a nights stop over as is comfortable and easy to walk into the old town and also the modern town area . The dining room is basic but clean with enjoyable food . Recommended for a comfortable stop over .

Location great for arrival & getaway from motorway

ocation on a busy motorway but surprisingly no traffic noise in the hotel rooms. It’s about a 10 min walk to the old town. There is a restaurant and bar next door which was reasonably priced and had a variety of tapas. The kitchen does not open until 8.30pm for meals.The bedroom has double glazed windows but the decor is outdated however acceptable with sufficient storage space. It had a balcony looking over the River Ebro and the old town. The bed was okay with one large pillow which goes across the bed and extra pillows in wardrobe. There are floorboards in the room and in some areas creaky as you would expect. The bathroom had a bidet, toiletries included even a bath sponge and large towels rarely seen in smaller hotels and a hairdryer. The staff were generally polite and pleasant.
Breakfast cost 11 Euros for buffet and 4 euros for continental - great value.
Wifi and aircon worked well - there was a comment on another review to say that the temp was set at 25 degrees but this an be adjusted. The TV had at least one English channel which was great.
There is lots of safe parking in front of the hotel secured parking available at a cost of 7 euros.
Overall: I would stay here again for an overnight stay because it provided great value and the cafe next door was very convenient and a quick getaway and arrival from the motorway.

Functional, easy-to-find hotel

This was a one night stop-over for us on our way home to France from south if Granada. It was easy to find, after a long, hot drive. It looks as though it has been quite a swish hotel some while ago - now it is perfectly functional but tired. We had a large, clean room. Comfortable beds. Clean loo/shower/bathroom, but the tiles were showing definite signs of age (one was badly chipped and coming away from the wall - at child height, so could have caused a nasty cut) and the bath was extremely slippery where the non-slip dots had worn away. I did mention this in reception and the receptionist suggested putting one of the hand towels in the bath before showering - this worked fine. Buffet breakfast was included in our room price, and was adequate.Not amazing, or exceptional but adequate. I think it is €10 per head normally. If we had had time we would have gone and got breakfast in the town, but we needed to be on the road again. Staff did seem a little thin on the ground, as we needed help with he coffee machine and it seemed quite some time before anyone came to he breakfast lounge to assist. A useful, functional, easy to find stop-over when travelling from Spain to France

Hotel with a good Restaurant

The hotel is close to tthe Bridge so you can walk to the centre of the villa. Room was comfortable and clean. The bar and the Retaurant are excelent, We had dinner and we were happpy to find good spanish food. I was dancing for one hour in the ballroom with a group of Spanish people, they were nice and polite. I bought two bottles of Tudanca wine. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel check in process was ok, they spoke English, but the staff weren't very friendly.
Room smelled funny, AC didn't work, and the washroom was laid out in a very awkward fashion.
The Hotel is over 30 min of highway driving away from Vitoria, which is what we were there to see.

Don't expect any sympathy if you have a problem

I wrote to the hotel some 18 days ago with what I considered to be a legitimate complaint concerning checking out.
The VISA machine showed my bill in EUROS, but later I discovered that the payment had been taken in STERLING ( at a not very competitive exchange rate ). I was not asked if this was what I wished.
I have not had a reply or an acknowledgement.

Nothing much to recommend this hotel

The bed waa very hard and the bed head had been designed for appearance rather than comfort making it uncomfortable to lean against. Restaurant somewhat charmless and, since both of us were unwell the next day, we suspect the lamb dish that we both ate that night. Breakfast was served in a huge empty room - again unwelcome. Will find somewhere else to stop off next time we're in the area.

Disabled clients beware!

I booked a disabled room but the hotel failed to inform me that it was not available. Access to the main dining room requires using stairs although the cafe is accessible by wheelchair and good value. Not an hotel for an extended stay but adequate for a one night stand when travelling to/from the Santander or Bilbao ferries.

Our ferry stopover.

This hotel was used as a stopover between the south of spain and the Bilbao ferry.The staff were helpful and courteous but the hotel itself seemed as though it needed a good refit. The room looked well used but reasonably clean but the toilet blocked as soon as we tried to flush it - nasty!

Clean and easy to find

Good location, can be seen from miles away, as tall. Room clean and quiet, TV and WIFI worked well. Would stay again on way. Not a lot to do in town. Next to river and filling station. Good view of river from room. Reception helpful.

Es difícil descansar. Se escucha cualquier ruido que venga de las habitaciones colindantes y de la zona común.
El hotel es antiguo y no tiene aislamiento acústico.
No lo recomiendo
En cualquier caso, la atención del personal y la limpieza está bien

Hôtel correct avec places de parc. Aspect un peu vieillot compensé par la situation proche de l'Ebre, très appréciée. Accueil agréable.
Le rapport qualité-prix de la chambre est bon.
Le repas du soir au restaurant de l'hôtel était excellent, dommage que la salle soit un peu sombre et avec une climatisation beaucoup trop froide.
Petit déjeuner à éviter ! Grande salle type réfectoire, avec des alignées de tables, peu de choix et aliments essentiellement industriels.
Bon choix pour une nuit (étape entre Bilbao et le désert des Bardenas), mais pas pour y séjourner pour des vacances.

Soit l'endroit est hyper poussiéreux, soit la poussière n'est pas faite régulièrement.
Hôtel très mal insonorisé (on entend absolument toutes les autres chambres) et la \"literie\" a dû être récupérée auprès de l'armée du salut.
Impossible de récupérer la fatigue de la route en passant la nuit ici.

Achei mal mantido. Faltava um apoio à cama eo suporte de duche não estava em condições.
O Wi-Fi é muito lento, mesmo para email. Impossível para video conferencia.

N'y allez que s'il n'y a rien d'autre.

Hotel vieillot, pas d'eau chaude à l'arrivée à 19h , isolation des bruits extérieurs ok mais les portes qui claquent, les chasses d'eau et autres douches à 5h du matin
vous font passer une nuit très inconfortable. De plus les couvertures et les oreillers n'ont pas été lavés depuis un siècle. Bref, remboursez!

Fuimos a pasar una noche mi marido y mi hija, la limpieza horrible. La cama supletoria delante del único armario que hay en la habitación, por lo tanto no podíamos usarlo. La ducha parecía una piscina, te duchabas y inundabas todo el baño... La tele sin funcionar, los cables del radiador pelados...
El desayuno... Bueno... Por llamarlo de alguna forma, si comes como los pollitos genial, porque es un cacho de tortilla o un cruasanito...

Un pequeño fallo puede arruinar la estancia. La mitad de los canales de tv no se veian y la otra mitad haciendo piruetas con el cable en mal estado. Solicité cama doble y me dieron dos juntas. Buenas vistas u silencioso.

La foto de la habitación que muestran no se parece para nada a la que nos dieron, una habitación vieja, con una sola mesilla, sin enchufes en la pared de la cabecera. Baño con sanitarios también muy viejos. El parking gratuito que publicitan es público, con lo cual cuando llegas no siempre hay aparcamiento y debes aparcar en otro lugar.
El desayuno me pareció bueno.

Un hotel normalito, limpio y correcto. Todo correcto, menos la cafetería, poca variedad, tienen una carta con bocadillos, sándwiches, hamburguesas y poco más. Pedimos unos pinchos de tortilla y los bordes secos, pedí un plato de arroz que había en el buffet, que me cobrarán lo que fuera y no pudo ser, porque solo era para, el buffet. No pedimos buffet, pero por lo que vimos, no nos pareció muy variado

Es un hotel que dejan entrar MASCOTAS (si lo sé, no voy) y cuando hablamos de mascotas todos sabemos que nos referimos a p..perritos. Que los ladridos a los únicos que no molestan es a los dueños.
Pedí una habitación tranquila, y me pusieron en la 8 planta. Bien. Pero al día siguiente tenía un perrito al lado. Advertí que si por la noche oía ladridos (toda la tarde los había tenido), que cancelaba mi estancia. PUes al día siguiente en la planta apareción una persona preguntando habitación por habitación de quién era un perro. Y era de los de al lado, un matrimonio francés que se había metido en la habitación. y había dejado el perro suelto!!!! luego te preguntas de que son las manchas grandes que hay en la moqueta. Flipante. La limpieza bien y las habitaciones bien. Sonoridadn nula con los impresentables que pasan vociferando por el pasillo, pero entre las habitaciones parece que buena. El restaurante no lo usé. Podéis preguntar a los de los perritos, que como no les dejan entrar en ningún restaurante ni bar a comer, se tendrían que quedar en el hotel.
