It went so wrong and was lied to and have my straighteners stolen while the hotel stored my bags! No cctv in a 5 star resort!!! I left Corfu on the Saturday instead of staying til the Thursday.

When I arrived at 11pm I had a very warm welcome and I was happy with my room. The nxt day I went to reception to book a second night but only if the room I was already in was available. I was told it was available but they told me to book on Expedia as I found a good price . In front of the lady I showed her every step of the booking. As soon as I pressed pay I was told sorry you can’t have that room now! I asked for a refund but they said no even though they admitted they had misunderstood

I said I only wanted to stay on if the room was similar with the long balcony. I was told this was possible if I waited 4 hours for a new room.
4 hours later I was put into the same room!!!

The hotel had around 30 children under 3 screaming in the VIP lounge. I’m a mother but this was like a playground not a holiday.

The aircon was stuck on 15 degrees and was being fixed for over an hour. And as the weather was really bad the hotel still won’t let u put it past 21 degrees which meant it was so cold there.

The luggage room the door was left open and no cctv which is obviously why my expensive straighteners were stolen.

Every time I was at the desk I heard people complaining and I think because of two very rude members of staff behind the desk it made it worse for everyone

The hotel is very nice, in a nice location, the staff is trying, heated pool, nice beach. But what completely ruined my impression was the buffet dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was not good, cold, the fish was dried out, the salmon was overcooked, the pork pieces were not good, there was almost no side dish to choose from, no complete salads, just awful! I would not dine here again!!!

The team at reception were not friendly, not efficient, and not capable.

The first 3 things they (it was 4 people talking to each other behind the reception desk and not in English and obviously talking about me) told me was:
NO swimming in the pool cuz it closed at 6pm (actually closes at 7pm).
NO dinner reservations at the à la carte restaurant in-house.
NO free room upgrade.

This was followed by 3 fake information:
There is no earlier email from reservation department of Domes Hotel that would ‘try their utmost to upgrade me for my 30th anniversary’
Hotel is 100% sold out for Saturday 2 May 2026.
The reservation manager was in a meeting at 9:40am on Sunday 3 May 2027 (probably late for work?).

So the total number of hours I was at Domes was 39 hours, of which 20 were sleeping. Of the remaining 19 hours, I spent at least 2 hours waiting for any and every different staff of reception to inform me whether or not I ‘could’ change from the sewerage smelling room they gave me the night before. At first, the response was wait and let me get maintenance to have a look (as if this was a new and sudden problem when in reality, it was sewerage pipes build horizontally instead of at a slant inside the floors from the date the hotel was built). This pre existing problem should have been known to the team at reception and yet they intentionally stuck me in the smelly room for 1 night.

This all happened on my only full day in Corfu. No member of reception staff was effective.

We have loved the hotel! It is the ideal resort to travel with kids. The kids club and the teachers there are wonderful and so great with the kids. Beds were comfortable and the food was decent. The entire staff made our experience unforgettable.

The staff were lovely , very friendly and did their best to assist where they could. The rooms are a big let down , definitely not 5 star. Very small and pokey , bathroom basic and dated … could barely walk around the end of the bed … small balcony sea view but overlooking a building flat roof ! Food 6/10 …. The hotel has very pleasant public spaces but there is a lack of attention to detail a 4 star hotel at best .

It’s not clean at all. The cleaner didn’t even wipe the bathroom floor and kept on forgetting to refill the towels. The sun bed were so dirty. Everyday we had to wipe it ourselves. Many parts of the resort were broken for example the toilet flushing buttons and the toilet locks on many floors of the common toilets.

Reception unable to get us into any of the hotel restaurants (in May!!) for dinner so can only imagine that it must be a nightmare over the summer months and you’d have to book your dinner reservations weeks in advance of your stay. Beautiful property, mediocre food situation

Dome is beautiful- it's on a quiet, lovely beach with lovely views. The property is gorgeous. They upgraded our room- so it was large with a balcony overlooking the water (thank you, Domes!). The main issue was the food- which other reviewers mention as well. The main restaurant is a buffet- which we do not love. The buffet food was okay and there were lots of kids (there is an adult seating section- thankfully). It's really hard to get reservations in the other restaurants on property- you have to call 4+ days in advance, and we were not there in high season. I can't imagine high season. I wish the hotel were more guest-centered in their approach- they put it on us that we hadn't made reservations 4 days in advance- but we were only there for 2 days.... I think they should re-think that to be more guest-centric. There are some wonderful places in Pelekas to try- but you have to drive 10-15 minutes. If you are okay with buffets or off property dining- this place is perfect.

I loved my stay here. It’s more family oriented I feel, so plenty of infants but not so overwhelming. The staff was very welcoming, accommodating and just beyond nice. It was clean. The food, the buffet, the views, and the amenities in general, were all great. I really enjoyed the live music they had as well, nice little touch.

My only hang up was the smoking. Never smoked a cigarette in my life but felt like I couldn’t get away from them. I was gassed by them on the beach, beach bar, restaurant. Anywhere outside pretty much. Not fully the resorts fault, more the people with no regard for others. I would love to see designated areas for smokers though, it really hit me. But outside of that…can’t wait to come back.

100% YES! Just the relaxing vacation I needed.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel with my sister. The staff are very courteous and friendly. We had booked half board. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. There were always different variations, especially in the evening. The quality of the bar was also a 10/10. It's located right by the sea, which is just fantastic. There are also sun loungers available that are exclusively for hotel guests. If you want a party vacation, you won't find it here. But it is 100% recommended for relaxing. I felt very comfortable and would come back at any time.

Beautiful Setting, But Domes of Corfu Falls Short for Families with Older Children

The Domes of Corfu is a stunning hotel set in an ideal beachfront location, but its focus on families with very young children makes it a less appealing option for families like mine with older kids. Here’s my honest take:

Highlights:

•Stunning design: The architecture and overall design are truly impressive.
•Beautiful rooms: Stylish and comfortable, great for relaxing.
•Friendly staff: Welcoming and attentive throughout the stay.
•Lovely beach: Warm, clear waters in front of the hotel with Blue Flag certification—a definite plus.

Areas for Improvement:

•Repetitive food: Breakfasts were monotonous, and we found ourselves heading elsewhere in the evening for more variety.
•Small, untidy bathrooms: Cramped for two people and in need of better cleaning, with limescale and grime.
•Limited storage: A couple of drawers and a small IKEA-style wardrobe made it difficult to unpack properly.
•Noise disturbances: A nearby beach club blasts music from 6 pm, and early morning noise starts around 7:30 am, making relaxation difficult.
•Unclean sunbeds: Visible stains and wear made the sunbeds unappealing.
•Crowded beach: By midday, the beach was overrun with umbrellas and Bedouin-style tents, making it feel cramped.
•Family-centric atmosphere: The resort was teeming with young children, which felt overwhelming for those with older kids like my 13-year-old son.

Though we were lucky enough to be given a beautiful updated suite (purely by accident, as we only requested a regular room), some visitors complained of the rather poor conditions of their rooms on the 1st floor (units looked “tired”):
chipped paint, torn bed sheet, stained or old toss pillows, tired-looking sofa bed/couch. Not sure they mentioned all this to hotel management. They expected nicer, newer-looking accommodations for the cost of their rooms.
We were incredibly lucky in getting a beautiful updated suite purely by accident.

We didn’t plan an itinerary in Corfu. We had been to other Greek islands and had a general idea what we wanted to do. Nicholas at Guest Services went above and beyond to organize excursions for us. The highlight was a private 3 hour boat tour of the west coast. We had the best time and really appreciated the thoughtfulness and attention to detail on every aspect of our trip. Domes was gorgeous and was easy accessible to glyfada beach.

Our family of five (kids aged 13, 12, 9) had a wonderful time at Domes Corfu. We enjoy travel and have stayed at many 5 star properties in USA and in Europe and loved our experience at Domes. Staff were warm, thoughtful and helpful, and we especially appreciate Nicholas and Thalia’s knowledge. We found the Sapphire three bedroom to be perfect room for our family and appreciated the Haute Living options included in our stay. Comfortable beds and great AC led to excellent nights sleep. The location of the hotel on the calm bay in Glyfada was perfect. Highly recommend especially for families!

Unfortunately the hotel is nowhere near a 5* establishment, lacks standards and consistency. The rooms are not at all worth the price they get you pay. Rooms at tiny even at Suite level but the worst is the bathroom which is the tiniest I have ever seen and where you need to close the door to move. The room need a serious renovation if they want to keep charging the price they do as they are VERY old or badly maintained.The cleanliness is also a BIG no. Service is extremely slow at the restaurants and bar. Overall they need to review quite a few things before charging what they do as this is a 4* hotel

The Glyfada Hotel building is modern and well laid out with good facilities (air con. lifts etc) and leading onto the lovely Glyfada Beach, Because of the design of the reception area, it is stiflingly hot in hot weather and when vehicles are arriving outside so noisy that you cannot hear the reception staff speaking. The cleanliness of the poolside grassy areas lets the hotel down as does the Adult Pool area ( tired and in need of modernisation ) and the gym and yoga facilities (both inadequate).

No other Hotel in Corfu pretending to be 5* compares to the Domes of Corfu! If you stay here you won’t be disappointed, it’s magical from the moment you arrive, new, modern, spotless, just perfect. The staff are so lovely and it really is the small things like putting the heating on in our complimentary upgraded room so that when we arrived in the night it’s warm and cosy, the chocolate bunny Easter egg and candles and the gift they gave us when we left and a complimentary late checkout 😌. They just consider everything and really think about what you might need without even asking.
Yes it is further from the airport but who cares! It’s only 20mins! You have everything you need right there and a fantastic beach with views of the mountains, a beach restaurant, bar and just a lovely vibe that I haven’t felt anywhere else. We loved our stay so much and have not stopped talking about the hotel since we left.

We really enjoyed our stay at Domes of Corfu. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The staff at the restaurants were especially great and always keen to find out how your day had been.

The hotel was very nice and kept very clean. We went to eat at the A la carte restaurants on two evenings and really enjoyed them. Topos was our favourite with a lovely view by the beach and great food. We also loved the daily buffet as well with a great variety of food available.

Our only downside to the holiday was that the Glyfada beach area was very quiet with little going on outside the hotel. Having said that we were staying at the very start of the 2022 holiday season so it did seem like a lot of local places hadn't opened yet. It certainly didn't take a lot away from this amazing location.

More pros than cons

I will start with cons:
-Hygiene is not at five stars level.1.When we arrived we were invited to sit and had welcome drink while waiting for our check in. The table which they sited us at was dirty. Then we went to the beach restaurant and so was the table there. I wrote this as a comment for check in experience and since this moment all the tables in all restaurants were cleaned. 2.The room cleanliness is not what it should be: the windows were dirty, the big mirror in the room was dirty, I wrote on it “clean me” and in a week during our stay nobody noticed. Go to room 424 and look at the mirror, I can bet that my message is still there. The mirror in the bathroom was the same story, they didn’t clean it at all. 3.Nobody cleaned the terrace, the ashtray was emptied on the third day of our arrival. 4.The housekeepers did not clean the floor, only made the bed and clean the sink. 5.All the surfaces in the room were covered with dust.
-The room: the room was not big and was painted in dark colours, so it looked smaller. There was no mosquitos net and nowhere to hang wet swimming suites.
Pros:1.The hotel is located on a beautiful sandy beach.2.The staff is kind, helpful and the service is good.3.The food is delicious, with big variety.4.The beach is quiet, the sun beds are very comfortable, the sea water is clean and is shallow far out at sea. When swimming guests can see fish all around.
5.The hotel’s garden is beautiful and well kept. 6.The breakfast is til 11:30!

Lovely relaxing holiday

We had a lovely stay at the domes of Corfu. It was our first trip post pandemic, and first holiday ever with our baby (15 months) so we had lots to plan but this was the perfect venue for a calm and relaxed stay for exhausted new parents. Food was great and everything was taken care of.

My favourite thing about the hotel was the lovely staff. Everyone was super friendly and kind and helpful in a non-intrusive kind of way. We were made to feel very welcome. The pools are gorgeous and the beach is beautiful, sandy and safe for toddlers… would definitely return!

Not a five star hotel…
Check-in & check out we’re unnecessarily time consuming, there was not air conditioning available (only central heating!!!), parking was usually unavailable, room had rusty & clogged bathtub with mold and no light, cleaning was average, on the first day there were no tags on breakfast (a big problem for those in fast or allergies). Products provided in our room were limited and not replenished’ at least they offered very good local products as gifts.
Hotel design was good and hotel location (even though far from town & with bad road infrastructure) was excellent as well as the view (at least from our room).

A good standard hotel but not excellent. Layout of internal building centers on set of stairs and lifts so can feel a little unusual. The outdoor space is much better and the beach is very nice. Hotel is isolated so don’t expect much to do outside.

Family friendly luxury holiday

We had a genuinely brilliant, beyond expectations holiday. It was our first time away as a family of 4 (2 year old and 5 month old) so we were apprehensive about the set up of a suite. Luckily when we got there we had been upgraded/converted to an interconnecting room so our children could actually have a proper bedroom - this made all the difference.
The staff, for the most part, went out of their way to be attentive and help with whatever they could (big shout out to Sofia at the front desk who remembered by name and was there start to finish!).
The ‘dine around’ option allowed us to eat at all the restaurants with the octopus at Topos being our favourite.
Despite a storm hitting the island and destroying parts of the beach, the hotel were very quick to fix the walkways which meant we could bring our buggy back onto the beach.
The kids club (and Judy) were better than we we have at home.
Loved it all! We would love to go back !

We were so impressed with this hotel, not only is it in the best location on the island with the most amazing on-site beach (that you can order food and drinks to your sunbed on) and sunset views but it is brand new following a refurb and looks great. Very luxurious and modern. The best part of this stay were the staff who are so kind and go out of their way to make everyone feel special. We celebrated a birthday on arrival and they really went out of their way to make that a special day for us. Constantinos (both of them), Theo and all the restaurant staff were really great assets to your team. We’ll be back ASAP!

Perfect week away

We visited Domes of Corfu for a week and were absolutely blown away by our experience. Georgia & Marianthi you and your teams are doing an amazing job.

The hotel is stunning inside and out with a really cool casual luxury vibe. It’s in the most beautiful, peaceful setting surrounded by green hills and a gorgeous beach with the clearest water. The beach is great for families and not so confident swimmers as the water is crystal clear and remains shallow for a long way out.

The food at the hotel was also fantastic, we really enjoyed the Octopus at Topos (A la Carte restaurant), but the buffet restaurant (Agora) was also great. There’s different themes of food each evening and the food was always fresh.

But what really made our stay is the amazing team at the hotel. Marianthi, Georgia and Julie-Ann you made our holiday! Your kindness, passion for what you do and willingness to go the extra mile is what sets Domes of Corfu apart from many other 5* hotels we’ve stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble and we really enjoyed chatting with you throughout the holiday, you made us feel so welcome it was like we were in the company of friends.

All we can say is thank you, thank you, thank you for making our stay so special and memorable! We will be back!!

Beautiful beach resort

Domes of Corfu is a beautiful resort at a stunning sandy beach. The rooms are very nice and smartly set up, and the service is great. There is a nice gym as well as fitness class offers and the pool area and sun beds are clean and comfortable. The only downside is the food and dinner experience. Having half board, there is a buffet style dinner that does not meet the standard of a 5-star hotel, even though the variety offered is great. Plus: lots and lots of people. Overall, if you like resort-style vacation, this is the place for you on Corfu.

Will be fabulous once finished.

We arrived on the 12th July for 11 nights, 4 days after the hotel opened. Unfortunately we soon discovered that the hotel wasn’t quite finished. One of the bars, one of the 4 restaurants, adult pool, spa and top floor were all still work in progress. Not what we had paid for nor were expecting. To their credit the management team were very understanding and apologetic- however we have to conclude that the hotel was just not ready for guests.
That said, the parts that are complete are lovely. The food in the fish restaurant was excellent and the spa team (from their temporary accommodation) did a great job.
All of the staff were fantastic especially the Topos restaurant team and the two ladies at the main pool. All of the hotel was very clean and staff always wore masks.
The hotel is on a gorgeous sandy beach and there are a couple of nice bars within a 5 minute walk.
We had a swim up pool room which was lovely and made the holiday.
All in all, I would say this hotel will achieve its promised luxury - but not for a little while.
Would I return? Yes, but only once it was completely finished. For that reason I would give an overall 4/5.

Fantastic Hotel +amazing staff. Highly Recommended

Amazing hotel on Glyfada beach, perfectly positioned on the west coast of Corfu island. The service was fantastic, the hotel was clean, the food was delicious and everyone was very friendly. A free shuttle bus to Corfu town was an added bonus. Everyone went out of their way to help and the people working at the hotel made our stay even more special. Didn’t even mind a bit of bad weather, as everything else was so perfect. Thank you to everyone at the main restaurant, the beach restaurant, the beach bar, the entertainment team, the spa lady, the reception and the cleaning ladies.. You are all awesome. Would definitely come back if we travel back to Corfu.. Hopefully soon

Friendly and welcoming staff, great location!

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The location is perfect (on the beach). The food is very nice with a good range of items in a buffet style. It is clean and well serviced.

Last family vacay before school

The rooms were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed having a swim up room for our last family vacation before our daughter stayed in Greece for school for three months. Parts of the hotel felt a little out of date compared to the rooms. And the bees were definitely very brazen at all of the meals. I know you cannot control nature, but there are ecological methods for keeping them out of dining rooms.

We were \very happy with our stay in Louis hotel Glyfada. The food was good,the service was good and the sea and the beach were both clean. Our only problem was that we arrived very early in the morning and although we had called twice and emailed as well, they were unable to give us a room until 1130. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel was fine. The A/C was not working in my room. When I called the front desk a gentleman that answered was not very interested in the issue and lyed just to get me off the phone. I was also not pleased with the quality and choices of the food .
