Ground floor rooms noisy without much of a view - avoid. You get noise from reception all night and breakfast clatter from early. Walls are thin so if you have people chatting late or watching tv in middle of night next door, you will hear this. Poor water supply, barely enough for shower. Poor wifi, cell is better. Hotel felt tired, nice location but disappointing facilities. Breakfast fine but can't sit outside because of wasps which means confined to small and cramped dining inside.

Location is great right by the beach but you must hire a car as a bit remote location. The hotel is run down and needs to be updated, the team is nice. We tried the restaurant right outside the hotel food was poor and expensive for what we had so avoid it.

Awesome place for a family stay, the beach is beautiful and clean. There is really only one restaurant to eat at and its the hotel restaurant so unless you have a car to drive to another town you don’t have any options, however the food is good there. The rooms were nice, the pillows are absolutely terrible though. Most of the staff was nice, not all. Overall, The beach really made our stay, it’s beautiful

The hotel is basic but we knew this when we booked, having said,it has all you need for a pleasant stay. The position by the seafront is superb and the restaurant caters food for all palates. I liked the fact that this is an approx 30 room hotel and has a family touch to it. All staff are very nice and after a few hrs of stay, they were calling my son by his name.
Beach is literally in front with sunbeds and parasol to rent, the hotel may also be able to provide some parasols if available.
The food of the hotel was very nice and prices reflected the quality.

This was the third time we stayed at this hotel in the last 20 years from Canada. We chose it as it was recommended by family and it’s an excellent hotel, very quiet and you feel rested when you leave. The location is excellent if you are looking for easy access to the sea and beach, very short walking distance. The sea is amazing with all sand no rocks, shallow shoreline so wonderful for kids and seniors. Hotel is very clean, breakfast is included and has many options. There is a small restaurant that serves lunch and dinner which you pay separately for and the food is wonderful. The view from both the hotel and restaurant are breathtaking.

We stayed in the last few nights of the 2020 season. The hotel and the adjacent taverna were open. It's was so quiet that the taverna wanted last orders for food and drink at 8.30pm. There are no other options unless you drive The staff were great in challenging COVID times and the hotel is well placed. The bathroom was slightly dated but all was clean, fresh and sanitised. In peak summer l would imagine it is a good option for surfers and sunbathing. But it is not attached to a lively little greek village.

Mrs Irene contacted us as soon as we made our reservation in order to organize the reception for our arrival. We informed her that we have an early morning flight. To our great surprise and pleasure when we arrived our room was ready at 7:30 am. Not only we got in our room earlier than check-in time but we were offered breakfast as well! Breakfast was plenty with a big variety of local products, pies and marmalades. Room was spacious, clean, well maintained with seafront view. The. bed mattress was softer than what we prefer. The beach is 1 minute walk. Water is clean and shallow.Sunbeds and umbrella cost us 8€ for the whole day. One warning: don’t follow google maps directions through Pelekas village, the road is narrow with a lot of dangerous turns. We will definitely return to Glyfada beach hotel!

The Hotel was very nice and clean. The daily breakfast was fantastic with a great assortment of eggs, breads, cereal, fruit, etc. Although the hotel did not have an elevator, it really wasn't an issue since I was on the 2nd floor. The only complaint I had was really nothing to do with the hotel but the that they didn't serve you drinks on the beach but there was a restaurant close by (you pay $10 euro for umbrella and 2 chairs). I'd definately stay there again.

I stayed for 7 days and at the end felt i was leaving family. Irene and Olympia looked after me so well,nothing was too much trouble for them.little touches like a little posy of flowers outside my door on my last day. My room was pleasant although i hadnt booked a sea view room and i would recommend doing so for anyone wishing to stay,but there was still a glimpse of the sea . The breakfast supplied is extensive and there are options for every taste. Personally i would reorganize the layout so people see the wonderful greek breakfast 1st - on my first day i loaded up with the other stuff and only saw it at the end. Their Greek breakfast is a delight and deserves to be first in line! Also any day you have an early start they will allow you to take your breakfast with you,or can organize a selection. I was initially worried about the steps but irene immediately took action once she knew my concerns and would have gladly exchanged for a room on the ground floor, and i had assistance with my cases with no hesitance.

This friendly little hotel couldn't be closer to the sea. Ample parking and the breakfast was very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant just down the steps was the best I've eaten in for a long time. Something a bit different to your normal Greek cuisine.

The room was really high spec , very clean , plenty of space , and cleaned more often than expected.
Breakfast was varied and fresh , lovely out door and indoor eating area..

Hotel is located near the end of Gylada beach, a quiet part of the busy beach. Our room had a balcony with super view. At night we left the balcony door open to hear the surf and smell the fragrant floral night air. The Hotel restaurant in front, directly on beach, has good seafood.

Hotel was very clean and well run with an excellent position nearly on the beach. The adjoining taverna served excellent food. A little isolated if not hiring a car but used an excellent taxi firm used by the hotel. Beach and weather perfect.

Nice clean room with air conditioning and balcony overlooking the sea. Nearby restaurant had lovely food and sunbeds very good price. Lots of activities to do on beach e.g. jet ski and mable ride. Other hotel nearby with restaurant and another restaurant Close by on beach. There is a bus stop however we hired a car which proved invaluable to explore other areas of Corfu, and there was plenty of parking available.

The staff at this family -run hotel are all extremely welcoming and friendly. The reception staff speak perfect English and are very knowledgeable about the area. If you have any problems, or need anything, they deal with it immediately. The buffet breakfast staff are also very attentive and ensure the food is always topped up. The chambermaids do a superb job with the rooms.
Breakfast is plentiful- cooked eggs, sausage, baked beans and mushrooms ( although these are cold). Tomato, cucumber, fruit, yogurt, pastries, bread, jams eats plus various drinks and a (slow) toaster. You can eat outside or indoors.
The family owned but separately run restaurant is just a few steps away and the food is not cheap but tastes superb. The waiting staff are again, very hard working and very friendly. There are other tavernas further along the beach but they are surrounded by the music of the beach bar, open in the evenings. The hotel restaurant plays Greek music I the background and has a wonderful view over the beach.
The beach is sandy and perfect. There is a safe, rock-free entrance for children ( and those, like me who have dodgy balance) to the right of the restaurant but mostly it's a few steps onto and around smoothe pebbles to get into the sea, which is shallow for quite some way out. The gentle waves increase slightly I the afternoon if the wind picks up, but it's still shallow enough for most people.

27 degrees every day and quiet long beach
Last week before closing ,tavernas closed but the very good and large independent Glyfada Beach Restaurant stayed open for only 2/3 tables per evening otherwise without a car we would have been stranded.They were great.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Adjoining restaurant good. Glyfada itself is a small resort with very limited bars & restaurants. I would recommend hiring a car as the nearest village Pelekas, isn't within walking distance especially at night. (The price of the car hire for 1 week was 10 Euros more than the hotel/airport return transfer). The beach is very close to the hotel and is lovely. The views driving around the island were amazing but the roads are in need of repair.

Very nice clean quiet hotel with good friendly service + wifi range all the way to the beach and restaurant. Not a luxury hotel (pretty basic mattresses), but everything you need and close to the beach. Free breakfast with plenty of nice tasty options for almost any diet. Not much going on around the hotel, just mountains and beach and the restaurant. A few minute walk there one other Taverna and a mini market, so this place is for beautiful and quiet, not for happening/exciting. A car is kind of a must if you are staying w/here-plenty of parking (early Sep at least). Restaurant nice, decent options (we are vegetarian, but eat fish) w/great view on the beach - but a little pricey.

This hotel is excellent. Very clean, which I was so thankful for. It was advertised as a sea view, but there is only a tree view from the bottom floor, no bugs though. I would have loved to have been able to sit on the balcony in the mornings and look out at the sea, but my boyfriend didn't mind the tree view at all! The beach is literally a minute walk and there a very nice restaurant that over looks the beach too, I was able to sit and get my views from here. Beach is very clean and not crowded at all! You can walk down the beach to other restaurants and even a little convenience store. We loved this place and will definitely return!

I stayed for 10 days as I was doing some work in the area. The location is not the best for access to the main roads but tolerable. The hotel is very basic this is offset by the very friendly and accommodating staff. The nearby restaurant owned by the hotel gives good value and stunning views.

Very nice hotel and staff. We had a room with an ocean view. They granted us a late check out. Breakfast was really good with variety. The beach was very nice, sandy and calm water however after the rain it got wavey and windy we couldn't swim then. The area gets very quiet after 9:30pm, I guess it was due to off season end of Sept.

Great Location right on Glyfada Beach
The location of the Glyfada Beach Hotel is great. It is about a 50 metre walk to the sand, and even though we walked about 5 minutes up the beach to get to the bit where there were no rocks, the proximity to the beach was excellent.
The outdoor restaurant that is part of the hotel is set only a few metres from the water even though it was quiet the nights we were there, we had 3 really nice dinners.
The only criticism about the rooms is that they were a little smelly with cleaning products, and the beds in our room were in quite poor condition with springs sticking out of the mattress.
Apart from that, the beach of Glyfada is the best we came across in our travels, with gorgeous sand and very warm water. It was so good at Glyfada beach that we did not leave the beach for entire time we were in Corfu.

Fantastic sea views from balconies on first and second floors. Rooms a good size, air conditioning throughout, cool marble floors and full of natural light. Pleasant reception and bar area with a terrace for al fresco breakfasts. Clean linen and towels and room carefully cleaned everyday. Nothing too much trouble for hotel staff, who happily arranged for a local taxi to meet our flight in early in the morning. A large range of foods available from the breakfast buffet. The usual fruit juices, fresh filtered coffee, hot water for teas, cereals, fresh and tinned fruit, Greek yoghurt, honey and preserves, fresh bread, croissants, sliced bread for toasting, butter and a low fat alternative, hot bacon, sausages, fried eggs, omelette, a selection of cold meats and cheeses, fresh tomatoes, cucumber, cakes and pastries, all of which are regularly replenished. The only things that could improve the hotel would be tea or coffee making facilities in rooms and less washing of towels option.

We stayed here for 10 days & found all staff very friendly/helpful.The only serious negative is the free Wifi, which is poor. I know we should be enjoying the beach & not be glued to our mobile devices, but the realty of life is that teenagers (& some adults) demand a fast/reliable wifi for different reasons.Seaview rooms are a must, as the view is awesome.The restaurant (& the hotel itself) is right next to the beach, and is one of the best in the area. The spicy pasta dish & chicken souvlaki were particularly good.We tried several restaurants in pelekas, ermones, etc.& this one is as good as or better than any of the others. The breakfast can be a bit monotonous after several days, but they do try their best to accommodate everyone & will happily make you expressos,cappuchinos etc on request.Also, none of the other hotels in the area with similar facilities were offering free breakfast.Our flight back to London was quite late, so the manager allowed us to check out late for no extra charge-which made our last day at Glyfada even more enjoyable.A car is a must unless you're happy to stay on the beach everyday. The beach is soft sand& suitable for all ages

Very quite but very beautiful resort . Great place to unwind and relax . If you want a holiday with night life don't go to Glyfada as it is remote . We had a wonderful time on the beach or swimming in the sea . The hotel has had a complete referb recently it was very clean and the staff are very helpful

Great hotel overall
This is a great hotel to stay with family or a romantic partner. The hotel is very clean, all areas well kept, and the service, although a bit laid back, was friendly and efficient. Breakfast had several options and everything was good. There is fantastic restaurant 30 meters away, looking at the sea. The quality of the food in the restaurant is amazingly good, and the prices medium (for example moussaka, 9,5 euros, cheeseburger 5 euros, fish, 13,5 euros). Our room had a fridge, useful to keep drinks, water and fruit. It also had air conditioning. Wifi works perfectly in every corner of the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel, the access to the beach and the mid to high level quality of all facilities and services are top notch!!

We stayed here for a week at the end of the season (in October). It is a lovely hotel very close to the beach and the staff were all friendly and helpful. It was very peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break. If you are happy to stay on the beach it is perfect - as long as the weather holds!

Overall good hotel
We booked this hotel to travel in late September just as the season was coming to a close. There was not much choice in restaurants or bars in the area at this point - but then Glafayda is more of a relaxing resort and so we didn't expect much. After trying out some of the restaurants further up the beach it turned out that the best food was to be found at the hotels own restaurant. Room was clean although showed some ware with the glass window partitions cracked on the balcony. The drains smelt a bit from the bathroom but from staying in other hotels on Greek islands this isn't unknown. Hotel staff really helpful and even helped us with currency exchange at what seemed a better rate than I got before I traveled. The beach is wonderful.
All in all would stay again. It's very difficult to get anywhere from Glyfada because buses don't run often. The hotel was nice and the service was excellent. The beach was beautiful. However, it was too difficult for us to go to the town square or other towns without a car. We wouldn't recommend this location if you want to wander Corfu without a vehicle.

We arrived in Glyfada on ahot afternoon. The taxi driver dropped us at the wrong hotel. Ther receptionist rung up the Beach hotel and Spiros the manager came and picked us up. After that the staff could not do enough and were very helpful. The hotel balcony view was stunning ,looking out over mountains covered in trees and greenery and the beautiful Aegean sea. A great place to stay for a quiet relaxing holiday.The hotel was also very clean and decorated very tastefully. Sheets, towels changed daily.

Have stayed in hotels all over the world, the Glyfada Beach Hotel is one of the best. The location is stunning, right on the beach, wake up to the sound of the sea and birds singing. The hotel is decorated to a high standard, beautiful lighting and art work. Rooms clean and comfortable with everything you need including a fridge for a relaxing beach holiday. It was great to stay in a family run hotel, nothing was too much trouble. Had free use of hotel safe, free use of computer and internet. We arrived at 5am and our room was available on arrival. The hotel arranged car hire and a taxi for us. Lovely breakfast, lots to choose from. The family also run a local taverna in front of hotel. The staff were so efficient and unobtrusive it made for a wonderful holiday. Can't rate this hotel highly enough.
