Breakfast : Same food everyday. Absolutely limited options, could be authentic thai food, but i am sure the hotel expects international guests so it would have been nicer if they were accommodating.

Staff: the evening checkin staff was very rude. Could be a little bit polite. Felt like I was in school back in the day. Cleaning staff was amazing

Unhygienic: as soon as you step out of the hotel, you are swamped by mosquitos. Even the lobby area had quite few of them. I was in jetlag and tried sitting in the lobby early morning hours and I couldn't even sit there for 5mins without scratching my arms and legs.

Pricing wss very expensive for the kind of room and amenities offered. I had booked a apartment style room, but no cooktop no microwave. The fridge could be used to store food but it shuts down when we leave the room? How is it useful? Shower was pathetic, the water flow was even slower than men's le*k.. Quite sad, i have been to Thailand for over 10 times and this was the worst accommodation experience of all.

I'd say avoid it, this is not a budget hotel, and you are not getting your value worth at all.

The air conditioners were of extremely poor quality and did not work well at all. I was transferred rooms when i complained. In both rooms the air conditioners did not work well. I had to pay for another hotel because of the poor quality of the air conditioners. I deserve at least a partial refund. Also, everywhere in the hotel is dirty. It’s absolutely disgusting. I had to kill 2 bugs in my room, i have photos. Upkeep to this hotel looks to be non-existent, i have photos of the room. Any other review saying otherwise is a lie. This hotel should be labeled a 1 star hotel. I guess if you’re on a budget, don’t mind uncleanliness and like to sleep in the heat, then have at it. But to consider this hotel to be a 3 or 4 star hotel is an absolute joke. 2 star at the most and that’s being generous in my opinion. I have nothing to say bad about the staff, though i actually feel sorry for them that they have to work at such a poor quality hotel.

Staff are a let down. They are unfriendly and don’t smile at all. My room had a dank smell and the hot water was not working one day. The phone in the room can’t be used to make calls within Bangkok let alone overseas and the wifi is weak and it gets cut off when I move from my room to the bathroom or even to the lobby and I need to type in the userid and password each and every time. . I Guess the trade off is the hotel rate is cheap and it’s less than 5 minutes walk to a BTS station. However this is not enough for me to stay here again.

It was good though the toilet area is not that okay, I mean the water from the toilet bowl was dripping.
The breakfast was very limited and one man who was serving was so annoyed with the the crowd who come and go to the bread toaster area.

Convenient stay but a boring place.

In terms of the 4-star for money paid, I got what i needed. However, as a tourist, the place has not offered much. We need to take the train and go somewhere for food, etc. Internet is not fast and easily disconnected, perhaps afler some time idling and need to go the same process again.

Horrible experience. Arrogant and rude manager. Booked the most expensive room and it was terrible. Peeling wall paper, broken taps and shower fittings, an old crt style tv (really, in 2019 no flat screen tv), ineffective and noisy air cond. Cups and instant coffee, but no kettle?
They have two or three bus loads of budget tour groups from Vietnam and China each night and simply do not care about private bookings. Breakfast poor.
My advice is not to risk getting a poor old room.
This hotel used to be much better, but we will go elsewhere from now on.

The hotel is really cheap to stay and that’s what you get. The WiFi is weak and drops often. The water pressure is low and it’s either hot or cold. The rooms has small ants (I think they were ants) and small roaches. The tv has about 5 stations. You do get what you pay for. And you do; on check-in they require a 500 baht deposit and get it back when you check-out. The good part was the Thai breakfast they have and only the food. The room it is in leaks a bit or it could be from the a/c.

Facilities can be improved.

The hotel is located conveniently next to the train station. The breakfast buffet gave a homely feel. The facilities looked run-down and the overall atmosphere was dreary. The major plus point is the hotel's proximity to the train station.

stayed this hotel because it is near to BTS station, Bitec exhibition hall and good price. Hotel staff are helpful and polite.

I changed my room (26xx) on the last night of stay because of power tripped and smoke appeared at the toilet switch, my colleague changed his room (27xx) due to insect on the bed.

Disturbing noise from aircon's fan coil unit , need to clean aircon filter also.

Really cheap compare to other hotels.

It's really cheap to stay there but it's far way from city centre. There are few hundreds of Labour live in the hotel. So it's very noisy day or night. They use some cleaning liquid for the hotel ,that smells terrible, like a hospital.

Convenient Park Hotel is a mixed bag. First stay there was in a nice and comfortable room. I think I may have paid a bit more than the lowest rate for that one. The second stay there was in the lowest rate room. Not so good! Dark, bad bathroom, etc. As long as you do not go for the lowest price (quality) room, I think it's quite a good bargain, and I'd stay there again, many times, I'm sure. But that lowest price room is a real drag.

after long time i came here just with one thought... may be they improved themselves.
but i was wrong..
everything is same...you can see all the time maximum tourist from neighbor countries are staying here....specially cheap package tourists...sorry for using this..

too much noise .....very far from main activity area.....

cheap toiletries..... even bedsheet they dont change...
just 4-5 minutes walk from bts punnavithi
but taxi drivers has no idea about hotel & sometimes bts too.

.Not much to do or see outside of hotel but so easy to get anywhere as bts is only 1 min away.Breakfast is very good ,nice staff but air con was noisy and towels were a bit grubby.Otherwise quiet location and good value for what we paid.

Reasonable hotel.

There are about 100 meters from Punnawithi BTS station, that means you can travel along Sukhumvit road easily. Proper breakfast with some Thai foods, Continental BF, and also Noodles and Boiled rice. Staff is OK.

Could be a lot better, but great breakfast buffet!

Nice place, not very clean, but the breakfast buffet was great! Lots of variety. If I have time, I will go back there just to eat the buffet, but I wouldn't stay there. The bathroom was very bad. The curtain had black mold on it and the tub was cracked. Very gross and it grossed me out too.

Disinterested staff at desk, unhelpful regarding computer problem.
In restaurant almost impossible to catch the waiters eye, even to pay.
Set in a wasteland across building site, rooms in a separate building from reception, desk in building with rooms not able to communicate in english and usually not at desk.
Whole place rather dismal

We had little problem with room on the begining - room was dirty. I told about it in reception, and staff cleaned it immediately.
The main reason to book this hotel was internet access. We stayed in this hotel 3 days - internet we had only one.
Hotel have very good breakfast and good location - near BTS sttion.

It's hard to get closer to the BTS than this hotel. Less than a minutes walk to the station. The only problem is that the station is a fair way from the centre of town. One thing that really let this hotel down is the bathroom. We paid a little extra for a room in the 'New' wing, but the bathroom looked like something from the 60s. The bath/shower was so high off the floor that it was dangerous to get in and out of (twice my wife slipped while climbing down, when she grabbed the towel rail to steady herself, it just fell off the wall). The shower head looked like it came from the $2.00 shop and was mounted so low on the wall that you couldn't stand under it.

I really enjoy staying at this hotel, and despite what the reviews say, I prefer the old wing over the new wing, the rooms are better. Perfect location, right off the BTS and in a quiet neighborhood. I like being in the city but when i retire at night, this location is fantastic. Buffet is good, and i like the restaurant. Be smart on what internet package you buy, get more, you will save money.

Bad Ad On-line and Misleading Info and Photos

The photo of the bedroom was NOT what we found; our room was barely better than a fleabag -shower was old, not attractive, no shampoo, cheap and small towels, loud A/C, very disappointing. The description on=line said it was close to Lumpkin Park. It was 40 minutes from there! We needed to take a taxi from the 5 minutes walk from the On Nuit BTS station(about 3 km. away!
We ordered breakfast at 6:30AM on-line, but had to wait until 7:15AM for the doors to open. Nobody was around at 6:30 or 6:45 or 7:00AM. We had to eat quickly and missed much of the breakfast. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.

Definitely value for money!
Hopefully, the nearby under-construction new BTS can be up soonest. If not, it's rather inconvenient to travel around, especially during the peak traffic hours.

The pricing is excellent value

The pricing is excellent value for what you get.
The downside at present is noise due to upgrading of the old area due to building work.
this is not a problem if 6you are using your room mainly for overnight occupation and not using the room in the daytime to stay.
The buffet breakfast is good, plenty of space and for budget accomocation it surpasses many other hotels i have stayed in Bangkok.

Worth a visit if you are looking

Worth a visit if you are looking for an airconditioned spacious room, but it is out of the way. However taxi's are cheap and when the Sky Train station opens near by, it could be worth the stay it if you are tired of loud traffic and small cramped rooms in the city. The free breakfast buffet is great and was included with my room. I stayed a week.
