This is definitely not a place to stay with kids. I was disgusted of even stepping in the shower. There was a used face towel hanging over the shower rod the sheets were stained and there were hairs on them. The box spring showed and it was yellow like it has never been replaced. The matress springs were loud. The noise outside made it difficult to sleep. Everything was just dirty and dusty. I only stayed because we were super tired from driving so many hours but felt like germs were walkimg all over me. I was scared to put my baby on the bed. I would never stay there again. The toilet was leaking as well. The parking was fine and the lady that checked me in was very welcoming. But this place can definitely use a good cleaning and remodeling.

I was very pleased and surprised with the condition of my room. It was well kept and looks recently renovated in the last few years. The staff was very good, friendly and helpful. However, the outside of the hotel is very unpleasant and not very well kept. The outside of the buildings and grounds needs a good cleaning and repair. The surrounding area of the hotel is not very nice but that is not the hotels fault, therefore making the grounds look better would help.

Overall you get what you expect with the room, it’s small and has what you need. However for the price I would expect it to least be clean but it was discussing. The sheets were gritty, I spilt water on the floor and when I wiped it up the rag was brown, the photo of the floor was taken before anyone walked on it. There was hair in the shower and it was stained. There was no bugs and if you’re okay with filth then stay here but I would never stay again. I’m very displeased with the cleanliness. Staff was friendly though.

Parking area is excellent. The receptionist was very nice. When I got to my room, I turned the TV on and nothing happened. I tried several different things an still no TV. I went to the hotel desk to tell them and she immediately called the service manager. I returned to my room and shortly the mgr arrived and he found the problem. That was GREAT.

Room was clean, staff was nice, bed was comfy. I hated the toilet it was soooo low and the tub was such a far step down to get out of it and nothing to hold onto. Also the tub had some cosmetic issues going on but overall it was a good situation.

One night stay in Somerset

Although there is no breakfast offered at this hotel, there are a few choices for breakfast a short drive away-Eat'N Park, Summit Diner or Dunkin Donuts. The beds were comfortable and overall the room was nice. They obviously are remodeled rooms with a few obvious details that are older. We were given a room in the very back and I would recommend getting a room farther away from the PA Turnpike though especially if you are a light sleeper.

Was perfect for last minute stop to rest.

We booked the room last minute enroute based of affordability and located next to highway. Decent, clean roo. And good bed. Will definitely stay there, again, when heading to see grandkids.

Despite my late-night check-in, the lady working the check-in desk was lovely and very kind. The space was clean and the room warmed up quickly. I lucked out and was able to park pretty much right in front of my room. Very convenient if you don't want to get too far off of the turnpike!

Decent room, sketchy area

It was a quick stop on a long cross-country trip. It's was tiny room, clean for the most part. A little confusion on check-in, but solved promptly by friendly staff. Area is a little sketchy, but lots of nearby stores and such.

We reserved an accessible room through you and when we arrived, they did not have an accessible room. They said they weren't notifued, yet, that infirmation was on her sheet. My husband is very handicapped and needs a safe way to get around and to shower. This was unacceptable.

There is no availability in the hotel, they are doing renovations, I called the red roof inn customer care and checked the availability they said yes , but it’s not the good one .

Extremely noisy. The front of the building where I was staying is across from semi-trailer truck parking/unloading/loading area and it went on all night long. The dead bolt on the door didn’t work and there was a slight gap between the door frame and door so if you’re traveling alone you might not feel very secure. I booked for two nights and checked out only after one. The room itself was clean and nice but due to the reasons stated above I would not recommend here.

The room was extremely noisy due to the door being damaged and having a 3/16 crack down the latch side. The refrigerator was loud and woke me up every 15min. The AC unit didn't work properly and after getting it to cool at 1am, it was as loud as a diesel truck. Cob webs under the AC and up in the corner by the door. Killed two spiders. And they tried to issue a refund, but they said I have to go thru Expedia. Got 2hrs sleep through the night. Prices are way too high for the condition of this motel.

Average stay, wouldn’t stay again though

Daryl was very nice when checking in! That was the best part of our stay. He was very helpful and gave a discount card for a local restaurant which we ate dinner at. It was delicious! Our room smelled smoky even though it was supposed to be a no smoking room. There was a used floss pick in the chair and a sticker from a bathing suit on the bathroom floor. The bed was hard and only two pillows were provided per bed. They were small pillows. I was happy to only be staying one night because I would have cancelled if we were staying longer.

Daryl was awesome! Super friendly & gave us tips on where to go eat in the area. Rooms are dated but bed was very comfortable. Manager shared they are remodeling & updates are in progress. Will look forward to the changes next time we’re in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. The workers there were very pleasant, the room was clean and the location was great for travelers. Only negative, and I understand this is short term, is there was no form of breakfast.

The hotel is still under renovation! They opted for hard flooring throughout instead of carpet… not sure about that move. They are pet friendly, huge plus, you have to walk to the very back for level grass, no fence for Fido to run tho. Clean with friendly service, work in progress.
