I had 7 rooms booked for my touring band. We checked in late (after 11pm) after our show near Pittsburgh.
Debbie, behind the desk for the night shift, was awesome, friendly, and helpful, when checking us in late in the evening. She was also quite sociable (and funny) while a few of us hung out in the lobby, late night.
The rooms were fine. Clean and comfortable.
In the morning, my phone started blowing up with texts from my band members saying there was no hot water. Several members called the front desk but there was no answer. When we met in the lobby to check out, we were told there was a power outage and that the heater takes time to get going.
I understand things happen, but the 2nd most important purpose of a hotel stay is getting a decent shower before you leave and that didn't happen.

I only have a few complaints walls and doors are not insulated enough. We could hear every conversation & other things in the next room, needless to say we didnt get much sleep. The biggest complaint is when we went to leave and pulled the covers all the way down to make sure we didnt miss anything and dscovered blood on the blanket...not happy about that one!! Just tells me they dont check that when making beds. Sorry im a big critic, i use to manage a hotel!

When we said something to the front desk, she told us she went to the room and checked and it was fine, but when we returned to the room, there still wasn’t hot water. For $200 a night, we should have been able to shower and not get a dishonest response from the front desk.

Room 301 is one of the saddest looking rooms I’ve stayed in. My mother and I were there Sunday, September 28, 2025 while in town to pay our respects at the Flight 93 National Memorial. Upon entering the room we couldn’t help but notice a dark red stain on the beige carpet. Honestly, it looked as though a very violent crime had taken place; it’s quite a sight to see. Couple the stain with no hot water and you have yourselves an overnight you’d like to forget.
At checkout the clerk admitted the stain was red wine & we should have told her about the hot water earlier. Okie dokie.
1) The room should not be rented out with a giant stain that resembles brain matter. There were many unoccupied rooms that night.
2) We didn’t think much of the hot water situation when we checked in because we used minimal water from the sink to wash our face & brush our teeth before turning in for the night.
3) The window was stained & filthy on the outside from what looked like years of neglect.
4) The clerk told me there was nothing she could for us since we booked through Expedia.
5) Lesson learned.

I think this hotel is more expensive than it needs to be given the surrounding area, but on its own terms it is clean and comfortable, with a friendly staff and nice rooms. The only other minor problem is that the plumbing is VERY loud, at least near my room (312). Whenever folks in nearby rooms used the bathtub or toilet the noise in my room was so loud it beggared belief.

We were very impressed with this hotel. We pulled off the freeway around midnight enroute to Richmond, VA from Michigan. The hotel is very clean, the rooms were very nice, and the breakfast was a bonus. We would definitely recommend this place to other travelers.

The check-in was efficient and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The only thing that needs improvement is the fitness center. There are two treadmills, a stair stepper, and an exercise bike. The exercise bike works, but its display doesn't, so you don't know how fast you're riding, distance, time, etc. One treadmill works, but the other one doesn't. There were 4 people looking to use the equipment in the room but not all of us could because of the non-functioning treadmill.

The picture online was misleading. There was not a waterfall or any type of scenery around. When asked about paying for a late check out because we were there for a baseball tournament, the front desk person, said ‘don’t you know we are a busy hotel?!?’ And this was going to be a late checkout on a Sunday.
