Room was clean and in great order.
Staff was very friendly and helpful! They even helped me with coordinating a couple of transportation items.
Breakfast was also splendid! I just wish breakfast started a little bit earlier, but that's more of a comment than a complaint.
The location is FANTASTIC! It's super close to St. Peter's and the bus stop right out side is well connected!
I'd definitely stay here again!

The room was good and staff friendly, but be aware there is a hill you must walk up to get to hotel. You cannot get to hotel entrance in taxi as there is a gate that blocks taxies, so if you have luggage, get ready to pull it up the hill to get to the hotel. For me personally it was very tiring. Hotel does not offer staff that helps with this

Nice, clean and spacious room. We had a duplex room with balcony. Staff is really friendly and helpful! Breakfast is amazing and variety (and plenty)! Only thing that bugged us is the entrance from the main road - it’s quite a bit of a walk up hill with luggage!

The rooms were extremely spacious and nice amenities. The staff were pleasant and gave great recommendations. In walking distance from public transportation. Only thing I was surprised about is it appeared to be a hotel or dorm for college exchange students. However they were all respectful. The breakfast buffet in the morning had a nice variety as well. When staying hear I strongly recommend to visit the restaurant Osteria dei Pontefici.

The staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful. On our last morning, the front desk lady even offered to grab us breakfast to take with us. The rooms were very clean as there wasnt much to them, unfortunatly, the beds and pillows were both rock hard. We did not sleep while we were there. The bathroom smelt like an outhouse for the duration of our stay. The lady at the front desk advised that was due to weather, which is likely the case but it was really bad. It was close to a train station but a decent distance from the city center. It worked as a 2 night, quick Rome trip.

O local é simples mais muito legal, seguro, limpo. Café da manhã bem servido. Para quem quer ficar perto do Vaticano vale super a pena, mas fica 40min caminhando dos outros pontos turísticos.
Não gostamos do atendimento de um homem que estava na recepção no dia de nossa saída, 13 de outubro às 6:30pm, pedimos ajuda com o endereço para o Uber e direções e ele não fez a menor questão de nos ajudar. Grosso e sem paciência.

This is a Camplus.it accommodation. Basically a glorified university dormitory.
Rooms are nicely modern minimalistically furnished with comfortable bed desk Neopresso machine. Large bathroom walk-in shower toilet, bidet, sink. Large balcony overlooking the west Vatican wall with view of Saint Peter’s Basilica. Staff at reception desk very friendly unhelpful. But they accommodation is basically used for students and young people with billboards and wrote us around. Young people hanging out and playing ball games outside making quite a bit of noise until after 10 pm last night when I had to ask the front desk what time they quiet down. I was told 11 pm. But obviously they said something about it because the noise stopped. We were to be up at 6 am to walk to a Vatican tour.
Overall, very impressed with the value for money and the closeness to Vatican City.
They didn’t put together bag breakfast for us, juice sandwiches and cake. Because the breakfast was from 730 to 8:30 am.

Excellent location for visiting the Vatican and also good transport links for visiting Rome being close to bus stop and train station . We did walk to the Colosseum in an hour. The property was good for the cost. All of the staff were really friendly. The room definitely could have been better as it was in the style of a dorm instead of a traditional room, and I was charged €20 because we lost the hotel key card. These are the same cards you can buy on Amazon for like 10 cents, and they also only gave us one card even though there was two of us.

The hotel consisted of dorm rooms that were comfortable enough for one night. Not far from Vatican City. The breakfast was wonderful and they allowed us to store our luggage as we arrived hours before check-in. The train station was about 12 minutes walk away. The coffees were also wonderful.

Very clean, well priced hotel located right next to the Vatican. Staff was helpful & friendly. Located on the gated university campus, making the building very secure. Excellent breakfast buffet included with a restaurant on site for other meals. Less than a 5 min walk down the hill to access busses going to the other big attractions in Rome. Only complaint was the noise, there were others gathering and shouting in nearby units until 11-12 pm at night, but we had expected this given that it’s a university dorm.

The hotel is not far from the Vetican City. The train station and the bus stations are also in walking distance. The room is clean and the girl at the reception is super friendly. We really like the included breakfast that is surprisingly good, a lot better than a regular 'continental breakfast' you will find in a chain hotel in the US. Little compliants are: the TV in the room only offer channels with local language; and bad smell comes from the drain hole in the shower. The hotel normally puts a towel over it. Did the builder forget to add a trap in there?

In general everything was acceptable, staff not rude but not kind either. When booking in this facility make sure your bed is on the floor and not on top like bunk beds which is what happened to my friend. Unfortunately the staff didn’t give us the option for another room and just stated that they were full and that it was the room we had reserved. The staff( front desk lady) didn’t show any sympathy at all and instead she got upset. Unreal but true.
My friend was then upset with me and honestly I didn’t expect or want that on my vacation.

Great location but you'll feel the mattress spring

The hotel is in a suburban area near the Vatican that is safe enough to walk in at night, and easy enough to get to via public bus. The room was spacious for a short-term stay, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast had lots of options to satisfy European or American tastes. The beds are the firm European style, but were still the least comfortable of the 4 different hotels we stayed in as the springs could be felt through the mattress. The staff held our luggage on our last day so we could explore after check-out, which allowed us to maximize our time in Rome.

the hotel was good, breakfast excellent. Location is not the best, and we have an issue with a very loud party, when I called the reception they told me it was ending at midnight. We couldn't sleep that night, youngsters were very loud until 3:30 am.

Had great difficulty getting out gate from parking lot onto Via Alberici. I had meetings at Casa Bonus Pastor which was a very short walk from Camplus on Alberici to Via Aurelia. There should be a pad that you can use your room key to exit as well as re-enter just like the main gate on Via del Cottolengo. On two occasions, I had to return to desk twice for assistance. -fr. What I liked about the area is that it was very close to the Vatican. I also like the fact that we could walk several eating places. I would have liked for them to offer options for meals. Stay open for service longer hours. Offer coffee!
On our first day we did have a receptionist who very rude. Thank goodness we did not see her the rest of stay. The rest of the staff was friendly and willing to help.

This is not a hotel but a university campus that hires out rooms. We booked a duplex but did not expect weird metal steps up to the beds. Great for students but not really suitable for two ladies of a certain age. The snack bar is basic but the service was friendly . The room had no soft furnishings. Just two plastic chairs and a long plastic table/desk. Every sound was magnified as nothing to soak up the noise. And nowhere comfortable to sit. No tv or music. The balcony was nice and very spacious. The rooms were very clean and serviced daily. The reception staff were nice and very helpful with directions etc. It’s located in a residential area. It was a good 15 minute walk to St Peter’s Square. The same to a bus/train stop. I will definitely visit Rome again but would stay somewhere more central. The area is not very pleasant so you wouldn’t want to eat or drink locally. Advertising it as a hotel is a bit misleading to be honest.

Pros: Gemma welcomed us and checked us in. Gemma is very kind, and hospitable. She represents the hotel very well.

Room with high ceilings made it feel large and spacious. Nice cool floors and AC. No tv. Room had a large patio where you can eat and socialize outdoors. My travel friends, who booked their own rooms, and I visited the nearby Carrefour market, bought breakfast goods and had morning breakfast on the patio. We used the Via de Cottalango, wooden gate entrance which was a helpful tip from a previous reviewer.

Easy 20 min. walking distance to the Vatican. We had the front desk call for a taxi every day to take us to our meeting points for tours. We did not use the Metro since it was too far. Taxi service is very efficient and prompt. Local neighborhood restaurant, Papa Rex, was excellent. Order the fish dish.

Cons: Inconsistent housekeeping. On the second day, my bed was made but no fresh towels. I thought it was due to water conservation, but my friends were given fresh towels. On another day, my room was skipped from housekeeping altogether while my travel friends had their rooms consistently cleaned. After a hot, tiring day in the sun, a nice clean room is something to look forward to but they dropped the ball in this area, unfortunately.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Camplus San Pietro. It was clean and within close proximity of the Vatican. It is within walking distance of banks, shopping, cafes and much more. The staff including Gemma, Lucrezia, were very friendly and helpful. There is a small cafe at the hotel. I had breakfast there twice and it was great. Here is my tip: Use the Via Del Cottonlengo 30 address when being dropped off by Taxi. There is a brown wooden gate....just press on the button or use your key to open the gate. The other address at Via de Ville 12 drops you is located at the top of the hill which is just slightly more complicated.

It’s not really a hotel it’s more like a college dorm there’s a study hall and all. The kitchen close at a certain time and the most you can get is like a muffin and a glass of juice. Uber eats will be your best friend! The staff is indeed friendly, attentive, and available 24/7. We went during January and the rooms were freezing and we couldn’t adjust the temperature due to it being fixed. There is cable if you want to watch and walking distance to Vatican City I believe. Overall personally I wouldn’t go back to stay here but it was an okay experience!
