We had an exceptional stay at Casa Mia Vaticano Guest House. We can not express enough how kind and generous our host was during our stay. By far the most considerate and attentive host we have ever experienced. The room was very clean and centrally located dor everything we needed. A very short distance to the Vatican. Would highly recommend staying here.

This was a GREAT find. Very convenient to the sights by public transportation (validate your ticket BEFORE entering the bus!!) and a very nice area, walking distance to Vatican and to metro (Roma S. Pietro). The staff was absolutely amazing and super friendly. Breakfast was perfect Italian --freah coffee, pastry, yogurt, a sandwich for later if you'd like.
I will DEFINITELY be back.

We had a great stay at Casa Mia Vaticano! The place was clean and comfortable. There is a bus stop right outside which made it easy to get around. But the best part of our stay were the hosts! Tommaso and Massimo made us feel so at home! We will definitely stay here again!

Our stay was fantastic from beginning to check out! Thomas (sp?) was a very gracious host. He confirmed my arrival, called to check if we would be attending breakfast, makes excellent cappuccino and is just an amazing person. If we do make it back to Rome, this is where we will stay. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are clean. Area has wonderful eateries. And you will appreciate the proximity to the Vatican City. 5☆ for the budget friendly. Thank you for your hospitality!!!

Near St Peter Basilica - 15’ walk - 20-25’ to Tiber Island. Good breakfast, nice / clean triple room. Perfect for our second/leg trip to visit Rome/ Vatican City. Rosanna was very friendly helped us booking taxis from and to airport. She also let us stored our luggage after checkout til late afternoon so we can freely visit Vatican City and surrounding regions while waiting for our flight in the evening. Thanks so much Rosanna! Italy is such a beautiful country with so many nice cities/ museums/cathedrals…My family is so impressed with our first trip to Italy!

Casa Mia Vaticano was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is located within easy walking distance to the vatican. The area is not much to speak of but we were there for only one night to go on the Vatican tour and it was well worth it. There were some decent restaurants within walking distance as well.

Arrived and did not get the room I booked. Got a twin bed in a very noisy area. As if it wasn't already noisy enough, the manager called my room at 8am the day after to see if I wanted breakfast. I complained about all this and he kicked us out of the hotel.

Happy Home Away from Home

My friend, Mikhail, suggested I stay at a guest house or bed and breakfast on this trip with my teen daughter. I am sooo happy that I took his advice and picked Casa Mia as my place to rest during my two-night visit to Rome. As a woman with multiple sclerosis, I am often leery of staying in places. Fortunately, Casa Mia had a working elevator! The shower is accessible. In terms of cleanliness, Casa Mia earns 1000%. True, there can be noise in a guest house. After returning from a five-star hotel in Madrid where I had sleepless nights due to parties in rooms, I was not annoyed at all by a few minutes of guests laughing or talking loudly! Thomas is an incredible host who made me happy as a guest! When I could not walk down for breakfast, he delivered me a healthy hearty meal. Casa Mia exceeds expectations of being the guest house that it proclaims to be! Even the cleaning staff went far beyond to help me with my transportation on my departure day. I am telling friends about this place for sure!!!!

We loved our stay at Casa Mia Vatican. Rosanne and the staff were all so kind and welcoming. We loved hearing their suggestions for places to visit and tips on getting around the city. They always made sure we were set for the day and greeted us every morning with a light breakfast. Also, the hotel is a short walk from the Vatican and there is a bus stop right near the hotel. The train station is also a short walk from there. There’s quite a few restaurants in the area as well grocery stores.
Aside from that, we can say our hotel room was very clean, on a quiet street, and had all the amenities we needed. If we are back in Rome we would stay here again :)

Massimo, Tomasso and Rosanna are simply the best. The greeted us upon arrival . Asked us how long we would be there. We said two nights. He emmediatly recommended we go to the Vatican Museums, booked our tour and called us a taxicab. The next day he got us tickets for the big red bus to go to the coliseum, took us outside, got us the local bus tickets and off we went. We visited St. Peter’s basilica twice. You will not find better service anywhere else. Breakfast is great, the rooms clean and building very secure. My wife Adela and I give this b&b 5/5 and a big THANK YOU!

My daughter and I stayed for five nights at this fabulous little hotel. Prior to the visit our communication with Rosana had been efficient and friendly and she organised a car to pick us up from the airport. We had a very warm welcome when we arrived; indeed, it is the warmth of Rosanna and Tommasso which makes this place such a special place to stay. They were so keen to help us navigate our way around Rome and to give advice on what to see and how to get there! Nothing was too much trouble; in fact, it felt like we were visiting friends. The hotel itself is small but immaculate. Breakfast was delicious - pastries, yoghurts, toasties and coffee - and set us up for the day. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from The Vatican and other sights are easily accessible by the bus or train. We also got help on planning a day trip to Florence with useful website links and suggestions for transport links. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Casa Mia Vaticano and hope to return.

The staff at the Casa Vaticano were extremely helpful. They reached out to me prior to our arrival to see if we needed any assistance with arranging for transportation to the hotel. I was not feeling well on the second morning, and one of the staff prepared a selection of pastries and juices form their continental breakfast and delivered it to my room. Unfortunately, the power converter that I brought did not work, and I was unable to charge my laptop. The front desk had a number of converters and allowed me to use one that worked with my USA plug. They are extremely helpful and I would not hesitate in recommending them should you be looking for a hotel in Rome!

In my opinion, the location is great. It's a nice part of Rome that's not covered with tourists; yet, a bus ticket for €1,50 purchased at the newstand across the street, will get you to any tourist attraction in Rome in well under an hour. One bus will take you to the Metro, and the bus ticket is good for the subway as well. Great restaurants are nearby this hotel, and they bring a nice breakfast to your room in the morning. Thomas and his partner are very accomodating, even getting us tickets to see the Pope. I would certainly reccommend Casa Mia Vaticano. It is also a 15 minute walk to St Peter's Square.

Great place to stay in Rome. We spent 9 nights in Casa Mia Vaticano and had great experience.
The rooms are very convenient and clean. Tasty breakfast and cappuccino every morning. Top location. 15 minutes walking distance to the Vatican museum and St. Peter’s basilica.
The bus stop is in front of the building and it is very easy to get wherever you want. All other major attractions are around 3 miles away and you can get there very quickly with the bus or just take a long walk.
Also, very easy to get to the Termini train station if you want to travel outside of Rome.
A lot of eating options and grocery stores around the hotel.
What makes the place exceptional and unique is the hospitality and the kindness of the owner Tomasso and his team Rosanna and Massimo.
They provide great suggestions and tips for everything you need and want to make sure the guests have pleasant experience in Rome. Tomasso is available 24/7 for his guests and goes above and beyond to assist them with everything.

They gave us information including map and bus numbers to get to all the big attractions, also made extra suggestions of things and restaurants to check out and offered to help us make any arrangements needed. It was a good stay. The staff was amazing — so helpful in every way. The property was within walking distance of St. Peter’s. It was a little far from the old city — a pretty long walk to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. If you don’t mind being a little far away from the old city, it is a great place to stay. Excellent Stay Near Vatican

Fantastic stay! The owners were super responsive and friendly! There is free parking on the main street in front of the hotel, and the Vatican is only a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. We felt super safe in this area, and it only takes about 45 minutes to an hour to walk to most of the major attractions in Rome from this hotel. We also had a table and chairs on our balcony for enjoying a continental breakfast that was brought to our room daily. The room is a little small but has everything you need and is a fantastic value for Rome. We highly recommend it!

Excellent accommodation, superbly comfortable, the decor was immaculate, very quiet, free car parking outside on the road, close to the Vatican you can see the dome of St Peters from the road!
There is coffee and tea in the room a welcome touch after a long trip. Breakfast can be served in the room although, l eat in the eating area as l didn’t want to put anyone to any trouble. Delicious! I highly recommend Casa Mia Vaticano, for anyone coming to Rome. A very welcoming stay thankyou.

Wow!! Super friendly host and also very informative. We artived at late night when reception is outside working hours, so we received full clear instructions including demonstration video how to book in. That was very helpful. room is very clean and cofirtable. Location is also very good-15 min walk to Vatican. Fantastic place!

We had such a lovely stay, the team couldn’t do enough for us! Our room was lovely, breakfast very very nice and the guesthouse is in a great location, just a 10min ride into the centre. Thanks for a lovely stay guys!

The location is very central and only about 20 minutes walk to the Vatican. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the photo doesn't do them justice as they are very spacious. Plenty of storage space, beds really comfortable, lovely hot shower and even a little balcony. Tea and coffee facilities and even a safe which you aren't charged for like some hotels.

Such a beautiful stay. The staff here were so so helpful and the place was spotless. It’s a small b&b style inside a residential area. Easily accessible to the city centre by a quick bus ride. Great vibe, lovely breakfast. I don’t usually leave reviews but for this place I just had to. If we ever return to Rome we will most definitely stay in Casa Mia Vaticano again! Thank you all for a beautiful stay.

This is a small guest House, inside a large apartment block. It's very clean, the room was quite small but perfectly adequate. The bed was fantastic! The staff are friendly and helpful, without being obtrusive. It is about 15 minutes walk from the Vatican and well appointed for public transport. We had a lovely stay here.

Tommaso and staff were amazing. We were only able to stay for one night but the room was incredibly comfortable, the location was a brief walk to Vatican City and the breakfast was amazing.

What took the stay from good to wonderful though was the staff. From the moment we checked in until the moment we left Tommaso and his team treated us like family. They made every effort (explaining buses, arranging tours and pointing out good local restaurants) to make sure we truly enjoyed the time we had. If our travel plans had allowed it, I would have stayed here for a week! It was my parents first time in another country and I could not have asked for a better experience for them.

Next time I travel to Roma, this will definitely be where I stay!

I liked the location of the property, slightly away from the center of Rome. Since I value reviews and make my choices based on reviews, it is very important to point out all the details. Good and bad.

The property is inside of an apartment building in a relatively residential area. The public transportation is right by the road what was a huge plus. Our room was clean, great bed, covers and nice bathroom. We had a balcony what was nice.

It is not your typical hotel. There is no iron board nor iron. I looked for a long mirror and didn't see any. I like to see myself after I dress up.

It was overall a great place, small, intimate. It's important to remind, that in Europe everything is compact and small. Last but not least, the breakfast is nice. I personally am not a sweet person. I don't eat croissants in the morning, that's not for me but they had rolls and butter.

The location is good for visiting the Vatican, but a bit of a further walk for other sites (but bus is available, we just chose to tour Rome on foot).
