Unfortunately the room lack basic kettle for water tea, and I did found the hotel surrounding area to be rather dark and lifeless (a bit scarry to wander outside), although its not the fault of the hotel.

Lovely small hotel in Nicosia

The hotel was exactly as published. Clean and welcoming, only 25 rooms, friendly team, nice rooftop bar.
Plenty of parking options around.
It is a residential area though and was not cheap compared to the product, but i was happy with the stay.

We recently had a 1 night stay at the Hypnos Boutique Hotel with my wife and we were both wonderfully surprised at just how modern and clean the hotel room was. It was spacious with lots of light. The selection of breakfast is amazing. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Would definitely recommend.

Check in wasn’t smooth as there was nobody at the front desk when I was checking in around 8pm. I had to call the hotel to get somebody to come to the front to check me in. Everything else was great.

The room we had was a good size and very comfortable. The bed, bathroom and shower were excellent. Breakfast was à la carte and delicious. But the main assets of this property were the individual staff members, who were very friendly and helpful. In particular, Aidan, the night desk clerk, was great fun to talk to, and gave us at least three great restaurant recommendations.

Nice but a bit incompetent on the financial side

The good: The hotel is clean and the staff is helpful. Breakfast area and the breakfast itself are also quite nice. The hotel and the rooms are new and well - designed.
The bad: Even though I booked the room with the option to 'pay at the property', hotel charger (not pre-authorized) my credit card. This led to additional costs on my side, as I was to be charged extra by my bank for both currency exchange, as well as for doing it on the weekend. To add insult to injury, hotel charged the money instead of pre-authorizing the card which in my opinion is incompetent for a hotel.
The ugly: there was a cacaroach at the reception once, but this can be expected in this climate given that often the doors to the parking area are left wide open (while the AC is running btw, not very eco-friendly). I tried uploading the photo, but the hotels.com app does not work properly on my phone for some reason.

Great option in Nicosia

My husband and I stayed at the Hypnos Boutique Hotel for three nights during our first visit to Nicosia. We couldn't have been more pleased. The staff was warm and welcoming, the room comfortable and attractive. We were especially impressed with the breakfast, which was served in the roof-top restaurant. We were invited to order from an extensive menu--everything was delicious. The location is a bit of a walk from downtown, but we found it easy to get from there to the Cyprus Museum (which we loved) and the old town section of Nicosia. We recommend the Hynos most highly!

Nice little hotel. Good size rooms with good amenities. Downsides: only two hangars provided, bed a bit on the hard size for my taste, and my room was infested with flies. I’d swat them all and then more would appear each day, even with the windows closed, which was annoying.

The room was very nice and clean. It had everything we needed. Parking was easy and convenient. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond. If we needed something, they were on it immediately. We left the lights on in the car and the battery was run down the next morning. The front desk guy and maintenance guy took care of charging it up while we had breakfast in the restaurant upstairs. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed staying in this little boutique hotel - it was clean, modern, and nicely designed. The room was well laid out. Really liked the little soap, shampoo, and conditioner brands that were provided. The staff were so helpful and lovely, especially the lady who served us at the rooftop restaurant! The food was also delicious. We had a car, so the location was good as well as the parking facilities. The location felt safe and was quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Tidy, clean, friendly. Nice well maintained building and the room was spacious. Lovely breakfast room on the top (4th) floor with good views over the lower buildings nearby. Provided a phone with free calls and data which was really useful.

The only complaint I could make would be that the internal walls are not very good at blocking noise from the corridors.

Great hotel, not a bad thing about it!

Lovely hotel with great members of staff and breakfast

On arrival we were given a smartphone free to use with tourist suggestions, free calls from a selected list of countries and internet usage. This helped a lot as sometimes our own data wouldn’t work but this is great for someone who cannot roam outside of their own country!!

Location isn’t the best but a taxi ride to the centre is quite cheap. Have nothing bad to say, bed is comfy, room and hotel altogether is very clean and fresh. I think the hotel is new as everything seems untouched!

Definitely recommend!!

We spent one night in Nicosia in this wonderful hotel. It is a very small family run business and you feel at home the minute you walk in! Rooms are very modern and clean. Beds are the most comfortable beds we slept in all around Cyprus so far. Breakfast was simple but had everything you needed. Coffee, tea, water and wine were free of charge all day through! Highly recommended hotel!

New hotel. close to the border. Very friendly staff. breakfast is simple. We enjoyed our stay in Nicosia. We recommend this hotel. It is not five stars but it's good enough. The staff we very friendly and helpful. They gave us a phone to use but that did not work. The hotel includes car parking.
