This hotel was amazing!! Very high end for the price! Vanessa was so helpful and friendly! Such a wonderful experience for 2 Americans visiting a foreign country. We were concerned about getting around and the language barrier but no issues at all. Surprisingly our reservation came with an hour in the spa and we used it soaking in the hot bath (jacuzzi without jets). The views were spectacular as well as breakfast. We didn’t want to leave!! This hotel is on our list to come back to if/when we return to France. Heartfelt thanks to Vanessa!!

Gorgeous views abound. Rooms were clean and comfortable, despite the heat. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had in Provence, making ample use of local alpine ingredients. It is also walking distance to old town Embrun, which was a nice touch.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly as were the beautiful dogs who greeted us. The room was spotlessly clean with an amazing view of the beach and sea. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you get a chance! Its the dream!

It was pretty much as described, and for a 3-star hotel, it's not bad for the price. The biggest problem we had is the cigarette smokes that we constantly smell at night. Even though the room is non-smoking, it's either someone next to us was, or that we shared an air-intake with a smoking room. We literally had to close all doors (door to the bathroom, the locked door to the adjoining room, and the main door) and stuff towels at the bottom of the doors. If you mind the smell of cigarette smokes, maybe double check with the staff for a room that is REALLY free of cigarette smell! There is no fridge in the room, luckily it's winter for us so we just left our wine and cheese outside! The restaurant is pretty famous and if you didn't make a reservation you won't be able to get a table. And they don't do room service, and in the winter it's not that walkable to downtown, so make sure you make dinner plans ahead!

Stunning views, old style comfort
Hotel La Robéyère is situated about half a mile outside the centre of Embrun. I stayed for one night while following the Tour de France. The desk staff were friendly and allowed us to check in even though we arrived very early (very handy as I was unwell). The rooms at the back of the hotel offer beautiful views views over a valley with the Alps as a backdrop. The terrace is a good spot for a late night beer after a day exploring the town. Reception does not open until 7am at weekends so speak to the desk if you need to check out early morning.

We stayed at this hotel for one night in March 2017 while visiting Embrun. We weren't sure what to expect for under 80 euros a night for a superior room but we can honestly say that pound for pound this is the best hotel we have stayed in.
The pool and hot tub area are an another unexpected delight. The bubbles weren't working in the hot tub but this didn't really matter as it was still lovely and warm. They also have a sauna outside and a pool and steam room inside together with a small gym. We didn't have one but it looks like they do massages too.
The hotel was lovely and quiet when we went. We were a bit dubious booking dinner at the hotel because we didn't think there were enough people staying there to make create any atmosphere in the restaurant but when we went for dinner it was really busy, it looks like people come and dine even if they aren't staying there. The restaurant itself is is in old brick cave looking room and it is very tastefully decorated.
The food, service and surroundings in the restaurant were absolutely outstanding. We haven't had such good food for years and all for a very reasonable price. The wine was great too! We would go back for the food alone!

Bel établissement dans un site magnifique. Entretien des espaces (privatifs et parties communes) irréprochable. Accueil très agréable et professionnel. Jolie chambre (classique) avec une literie exceptionnelle. Le seul bémol est la véritable exiguïté de la salle d’eau. Absence de climatisation (difficile à mettre en oeuvre dans ce bâtiment ancien), néanmoins un ventilateur est à notre disposition. Pas de déjeuner possible hormis un brunch le Dimanche, c’est dommage considérées les belles possibilités de la terrasse et de la salle de restaurant.
Rapport qualité/prix: peut-être un peu cher pour la taille de la chambre et sa salle d’eau mais compensé par la qualité des services offerts. À connaître !

Notre séjour a été très agréable ! Le bâtiment est beau, les chambres impeccablement propres et les espaces communs chaleureux et ravissants. Le service a été a la hauteur de toutes les attentes. L'extérieur de l'hôtel est également ravissant avec une vue imprenable sur les alentours. Le seul point imparfait était le spa qui mériterait un peu plus de gestion courante. Le restaurant était très bien également, avec du choix et une bonne cuisine, que ce soit au dîner ou au brunch dominical.

Pour un hôtel spa, piscine, sauna et bain nordique de 4 étoiles, très surpris de ne pas avoir de peignoir ni chaussons dans les chambres, réponse du personnel : seule les suites en disposent... c'est un manque important car vous vous retrouvez à vous \"balader\" en maillot de bains dans l'hôtel ! Autre problème : pas d'eau chaude pendant notre séjour de 2 jours, compensé par un geste commercial sur la facture.
La restauration est excellente, le personnel accueillant et sympathique. L'emplacement parfait à l'entrée d'Embrun, parking sur place gratuit.
Concernant l'espace balnéo, les réservations ne sont pas gérées, il manque de la lumière dans le sauna et le jardin où se trouve le bain nordique.

Le seul mini bémol etait que le sauna ne fonctionnait pas.
Nous avons du attendre notre accès naturellement au bain nordique, et il n’y avait que la piscine interieur en attendant. Mais ça reste qu’un petit bémol qui n’entache en rien notre experience. Nous y retournerons sans hesiter !

Séjour agréable avec du personnel à l'écoute et souriant! Un seul bémol : le nouveau système d'accès au SPA qui se fait sur réservation pour réguler le nombre de personnes sauf que rien n'est contrôlé et que les personnes ne respectent pas leur créneau horaire.

Déçue… chambre « supérieure »(?) mansardée avec velux … vue sur le haut des montagnes ( à condition de me mettre sur la pointe des pieds !) pas de petit réfrigérateur ( plus de 30* en ce mois d’août !) .Pas de salle fermée pour laisser les bagages….(des 3 personnes dans la salle aucune n’est venu m’aider à les récupérer…).Dommage, pour un 4*…points positifs : très propre et bonne literie…

Un hôtel très charmant avec, pour ma part, une chambre en duplex très sympa. Un accueil des plus chaleureux avec un personnel très humain. La vue sur les cimes enneigées… en se baignant dans le jacuzzi nordique!!! Bref, un régal à réitérer.

Petite semaine de vacances en couple, les spa se résume a une mini piscine trop chlorée, un hamac trop froid, un bain à bulles extérieur et un sauna inexistant. Salle de douche minuscule une penderie version poupées, pas de frigo, un coffre fort simplement posé au fond de la penderie. Pour ma part ne vaut pas 4 étoiles mais plutôt 2. Reste que le restaurant est au top, très bonne literie, le bâtiment magnifique et l'emplacement de choix proche du centre.

Accueil surprenant. Nous avions pas mal de kms de moto sous une chaleur arasante et nous avons été assailli de questions sur notre souhait de prendre ou pas le petit déjeuner, l’heure où nous voulions réserver le dîner , reserver la piscine (d’ailleurs il ne restait plus que les créneaux de 20 h !) bref nous aurions préféré boire un verre d’eau fraîche et prendre le temps de nous installer .
Ensuite pas de clim dans la chambre supérieure , motif écologique ! Alors que il y en a dans les chambres de base . On nous apporte un ventilateur , ouf !

Le restaurant est bon et pratique, certes un peu cher. Mais des petites remises appréciables ont été appliquées, volontaires ou non, on ne saura jamais ^^ mais ça fait toujours plaisir. On se souviendra de cette adresse.
