Stayed here for a local-ish soccer tournament and while the hotel was in great condition and the rooms were clean and comfy, charging $370 for this particular weekend for a hotel on the outskirts of ORANGEVILLE, Ontario was a bit ridiculous, especially when that's nearly double what the rate normally is. Did not appreciate the price gouging. If you want to avoid all of your guest's jaws dropping to the floor when handed the debit machine showing $690 for one night when you include the $250 credit hold... reconsider those rates!!

Check in was fairly easy but the beds were not queen size as advertised and actually doubles. When inquired about this as we were family of four were told there’s nothing that can be done, no cots no extra blankets. However another family we were with were given a cot after we had inquired. There was stains on the bedding we did have, the tub flooded when used the shower. The to go bags and available fruit was a nice touch. I’m glad we only stayed the one night. This hotel needs some fixing up and then it would be worth the price for the rooms.

Room was booked on line through Expedia. I booked it for my cousin who has the same last name. She was coming to Orangeville because her Mother had died the day before. When booking, it auto filled my name so I called the hotel to specifically let them know my error. The hotel (I have the name of the staff remember) said I had to change the booking with Expedia. I contacted Expedia and was on the phone for 45 min and then they dropped the call! Disgusting service! If my credit card shows a charge for the room that night I will explode and fight it.

I would have given 5 stars for everything but my bedding had to be changed as they had some sort of grit on the sheets and stain that looked like blood. They said that it just came out of the wash and couldn’t understand what happened. They changed the sheets and comforter with no problem and they also lined me an iPhone charger cause mine stopped working which was nice of them. Overall they were very accommodating, understanding, friendly and helpful.

I have always loved the Hilton but this location is top notch I was amazed of the breakfast that's provided no other location I have been to provided this, not the typical continental breakfast. The staff is awesome from checkin to exit, rooms are really clean and comfortable. Easy access to other amenities and free parking on-site. I would from now on always book this location. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Breakfast was fine. Staff were helpful except one woman who did not appear friendly at all whenever I walked by the desk. Garbage cans are far too small in the room. No washroom fan and the thermostat was hard to figure out. Blackout blind was damaged upon check in. Just a small tear but does not look appealing Housekeeping staff were full of smiles and overall the priority was fantastic and we enjoyed our stay. Room was wheelchair friendly which is hard to find in most hotels so great job with that!!!

There was lots of parking spaces which was in an open and well-lit lot, and I could see my car from my room. I could see cameras at the front door which had my car in view, so I was comfortable my car was safe overnight.

The breakfast was simple, just what you need. I enjoyed the western-style omlette and the coffee.

Staff were friendly.

Room was relatively clean - some rust dripping from the safety bar in the shower and what appeared to be a piece of mint green rubber or chewed gum in the corner of the bathroom by the toilet - I didn't take a closer look to confirm what it was.

The toilet paper holder was broken, the bathroom door needed a good clean, the thermostat needed to be wiped.

The breakfast was all right but the coffee seemed to be in a weird location as I needed milk but had to carry the coffee to the breakfast area to add the milk.

Nice clean rooms, have stayed before and with a newer hotel everything was good. Our only complaint was breakfast and it's not a huge one. The potatoes were bland and dry and the scrambled eggs were awful. Only good thing was there were plenty of other options cereal, oatmeal, waffles, muffins, bagels etc...

The only unusual thing was they had a very small note at the bottom of the bathroom mirror saying not to drink the water from the bathroom sink, but instead to get the vwater from a fountain in the lobby. I have never seen this before.

The EV chargers were very welcome, though only 2 out of the 4 worked. The staff didn't know much about how to use them; it would be nice if they were treated as a first-class amenity.

The pool was unusable during my whole stay; it was very cold, and the heater wasn't working. The staff didn't have good knowledge of the issue, and we were told different stories at different times.

I was told the manager would call me by the next day. They did not. I left them a message, and they did not call me before I made this review.

Caused me to research what has happened to the hotel business model, and it is a sad reality we live in when nice hotels are not well run.

Hilton claims the long lasting power outage was city wide. Meanwhile 75%of the city had power ! How come Hilton has no backup generator ? Asking premium prices but not providing basic services !
The other brand name hotel offered compensation to their guest right away ! Hilton had no manager working with public and not a single apology was stated ! Shame !

We booked for two nights. During the first night, my wife got up to use the washroom, and upon her return to bed she stepped on what she thought was a small rock. It turned out to be a used needle from an auto-injector and it was lodged securely in her foot!! I took the needle down to the front desk to show them and demanded an explanation. I was basically told I was a liar and it was "highly unlikely that this had happened" and that their rooms "were all expertly inspected before each and every stay by a supervisor". I was floored at being called a liar and made to feel like this was something we had invented in order to receive a discount or a free room stay. Total attempt at covering their rears. I asked to speak to the manager, but was told he was off site until Monday and that he would contact me then. Basically, nothing we can do. I got the manager's business card and tried calling myself, only to discover this was the number to the front desk, proving futile. I then decided that giving the clerk the needle in question was a stupid idea as she was free to discard it like it never happened, and when I asked for it back I was told she had given it to housekeeping. So there goes my proof. Needless to say, my telling the clerk how serious this could actually be for my wife --- what if she now has a blood infection or perhaps a disease from this used needle, fell on deaf ears. It's now Monday afternoon, the manager still hasn't called. Not impressed at all!

This is a beautiful Hampton - staff were amazing! Great food, clean rooms and great location. If you like it cool to sleep the temperature sneaks up - so put it down cool to start. Air conditioner has white noise.

I have sometime didn't stay with Hampton Inn & Suites because the internal decor was a bit old. This time I tried again, wondered the hotel is quiet and the new decor is good (modern designed). The room is comfortable, hot shower is good, however the bed is quite hard (for myself). Lightings is good, breakfast is OK, free parking is good and convenience.
I think is good experience for to review the Hampton Inn & Suites, will try more in other cities.

I recently flew in from Edmonton to Toronto for a meeting and decided to stay at this hotel. My meeting finished earlier than expected, so I went to check in before the standard 3 PM time. To my surprise, the front desk staff told me I would be charged by the hour if I wanted to check in early.

I found this disappointing, especially since the room was already going to be mine from 3 PM onward. As a Hilton member, I expected more flexibility and customer care. Most hotels I’ve stayed at try to accommodate early check-ins when possible, especially for loyalty members.

While the hotel itself may have its strengths, the lack of consideration and the unnecessary extra charge for an early check-in left me with a negative impression. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as hospitality should be about making guests feel welcomed, not nickel-and-dimed.
