when we got in there is a stinky smell inside that I have to contact expedia regarding to it but they wasn't able to refund or help me at all. there are also mold in the bathroom, walls and even on the ceiling. the floor are dirty and moldy. I tried to find a new hotel nearby but its chinese new year so everything is fully booked. I am so disppointed because hongkong is our last stop, the food and the places are incredible but this hotel makes our trip not so enjoyable, especially after a long day. will not book here again.

Very central location though the hawkers at neighbouring Chungking Mansions are a nuisance. The hotel room was of good size and the bedding and towels clean, but the decor well beyond its sell by date. Check in and out was very efficient but maid service a bit of a miss.

Excellent location to have excitement and fun around the city. Plentiful dining options nearby, from $ to $$$$ . Staff was courteous, helpful and fast to respond. However, rooms were just a place to rest at night, cleaning work needed urge from the front desk. Advanced reservation could get a better price and walk in had least guaranteed.

SCAM by hotel staff

Beware 3 hotel staff ask to see my credit card for the payment . One of them holding my card reading the 16 digit card number in Chinese to other staff writing it down on paper plus the expiration date . Will the other staff was talking to me about changing to room type blah blah .. I noticed and ask for my card back .. he handed over flipping the card back tell his colleague to write down the 3 digit security code !!! SCAM ? Imperial Hotel

It was the middle of winter and there is no heating so it was really cold. Blinds on the windows could not be raised because of knots tied in the cords. The bathroom was like walking into a dark cave.

This place looks NOTHING like the pictures. They have a serious MOLD problem, which is visible in hallways, inside rooms and showers. The lobby is decent but I have seen three of their floors, and three rooms, none of them are like the pictures you see on Hotels.com. ALL 3 floors and rooms that I saw have mold. The staff is very accommodating and willing to switch my room but in the end there was not a room that didn't have mold, so yes we slept in a moldy room for a few nights.

The Hotel is little run down. The room had small roaches. Had complained 3 days in a row and they addressed it but the roaches kept coming back. The Toilet had a problem and had to complain every day for the water to flow properly. The staff was prompt and sending someone to take care of it, but the infrastructure of the hotel is lacking.

the room was cold even i turned the air-condition down for two days. I asked for extra blanket but still felt cold for the two days I stayed. The floor was full o dust , especially under the desk. the hotel DID NOT change the bedding after the former customer left. I FOUND long hair on the bedding. There was no hot water at night when I wanted to take a shower. The towel was in grey colour. Te only advantage it is convenience.

I can say that the location was great but when we first gotten to our old outdated room, there were no tooth brush, seen a couple of cockroaches and wasn't aware that there was no house keeping unless itbwas reserved. Once we reserved a cleaning and make up for the following day it was forgotten.

The photo in the website is not the same as the actual condition of the room. There is no complimentary bottled water which is a standard in most hotels. The room is old and the bathroom is also old. There is also the smell of an old room air inside the room. No heating too. No available portable heater when needed.

It looks nice in the picture, but when we saw it, it was filthy, and the hallway smelled of cigarettes, including in the room. The bathroom is clogged, and the toilet bowl is dirty. The sink is clogged as well and very dirty. The two mattresses are like hospital mattresses. Their towels have disgusting stains because if you use them, it looks like you will get sick worse than Covid. Instead of enjoying our temporary stay in Hong Kong, it seems like we will get sick because of the smell of dirt in the hotel room. I couldn't sleep because I was itchy, so I didn't finish the morning, and we moved to another place. It's called Imperial Hotel, but it looks like not a hotel.

Shower towel is too old, edges are reaping off. Toilet bowl not 100% clean, urine from previous guests are still stained at the back cover area.

Door bottom edge gap too large letting outside air conditioning to comes in which makes the room too cold after switching off room air condition.

WiFi service very poor with very slow connection.

We liked the location because it is just right along the main Nathan Road, near a lot of cheap resto like Cafe de Coral and the MTR as well. Thus, commuting to Ocean Park, Disneyland, Mongkok, Harbour City and the Avenue of Stars was a breeze. This is the third time we booked at Imperial Hotel during our family visits to Hong Kong since 1993.

The place is quite nice, it's very accessible to most of places we want to visit. The price is quite cheap, but it was disappointing, because they offer cheaper to walk ins than to us who booked it in advance. The airconditing is really bad. Some staff are not friendly and moody.

this hotel had bugs in every room I stayed in. The telephone did not work in the first room I was in. Housekeeping was a joke. Each day it took only 5 minutes to clean my room.

I am not so sure if he was the Manager, but I would like to thank him for helping us look for a cab to take us to the airport. Second, when we asked the front desk to transfer us to another room because we don't like the smoking room, they happily obliged in doing so.

Imperial is at TST area and convenient to take trains whichever place you will be going.

central location. But all the good things end there. They first gave us a room that smelled like mold. So we requested to switch. The second room was much better, but still felt more like a cheap motel than something that resembles the reference photo on the website.

We asked for additional blankets and towels. The first time nobody came to deliver them. So I had to go down to the lobby again to ask for them. Ten minutes later a staff came in with just a towel. I asked for the blankets and the lady rudely said no. I was too tired at that point to go down to the lobby one more time to make a third request. Just terrible service in general. Would not recommend this hotel.
