Beds we're cleaned, tidy and comfy, the shower was much to be desired with mouldy floor tiles and a roof that looks like it was going to fall in. I understand that it's an older building, but I'm sure some maintenance and cleaning may be in order.

The room was spacious, very clean, and the cleaning staff took extra care to make sure I had everything I needed each day. The air conditioning and all appliances worked very well. The owners are very friendly and caring - I felt welcomed like family. They have a list of all the upgrades they have made, and all the upgrades they are undertaking, which shows me their willingness to improve the quality of their customers' experience. My stay was quiet, peaceful, and very close to town for food. It was great value and I highly recommend staying there.

I booked a room @ 7.20 pm & turn up at the motel 15 minutes later to no manager on site there or no key left in a lock box there like they used to do if you were a late booking The office phone rang out ,rang the mobile number of the useless manager ( mark) & no answer , waited on site for 1 hour still no check in or keys. Contacted Wotif & they tried calling the manager without any success so I had to book another motel in the town then had to chase my money back with this incompetent manager Mark - stuff up then fffd me around with 2 part payments & was still short of my booking amount. I will never book that motel even again. Period

I found the location to be quiet with easy walking access to town and various locations I was interested in. The room was very clean and well serviced. The service from when I arrived to checking out was very professional and friendly. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Noisy accommodation.

It was very noisy. You could hear children running upstairs through the day and during the evening. You could hear them running through the ceiling. You could clearly hear traffic from outside. At 5.30am one morning a truck driver started his engine outside and left it running to warm up.

The guy in the office didn't seem to have any clue on what he was doing.My wife's friend opted to pay for the accomodation but definately wanted a receipt to show how much she had spent.The guy told me a receipt would be issued at some stage but didn't have any idea when.Apart from that the property was ok.

I arrived after 8pm when the staff had gone home, but they had sorted out my key access. The room was big, and well decorated/ furnished. The tea and coffee stuff was plentiful and best quality. The courtyard was lovely. The bed and bedding were top notch - I slept 10 hours like a baby. Will definitely stay again, and highly recommend it to anyone who's had a long journey. Ive stayed in hundreds of Australian motels. A lot are ghastly. This was a pleasure.

The property was in walking distance to the town centre. However it is situated on a busy intersection. The family room was old, smelt musty. The second bedroom had no windows, which could be a fire hazard. A pipe in the bathroom was leaking and had obviously been leaking for quite a while as it was very rusty.The leak was coming from a room above through the pipe and onto the floor. The refrigerator wasn't working. The overall upkeep and maintenance was lacking. I travelled with family and we all agreed we wouldn't stay there again.

The conditions of the room were terrible, it looks like it's falling apart.

I guess that there are not a lot of options to stay in that town, so it's that hotel or nothing else.

The sheets look clean, but I was afraid to walk on the carpet bear foot.

Large Comfortable Room

Older style motel, uphill from the Murwillumbah town centre. Our room (queen and single bed) was spacious with pleasant leafy views. The upper floor, accessed by stairs, would have even better views.
Our room had a table and chairs. The wardrobe and a bench with microwave, hospitality tray, small frig, plates and cutlery were in a separate room. Vanity/sink was external to the small bathroom, with shower over bath.
The room had a door onto an elevated, shared front veranda and another to the barbecue area at the rear of the motel. The décor is dated but the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Our room was quiet, aircon worked well and our sleep was undisturbed.
There is limited undercover parking under the motel and a larger open parking area at the rear.

Lovely, clean accommodation for its age, friend hosts, comfy bed, nice touch with in room tea, coffee, biscuits, fresh milk and bottle water. Only dislike, we had to park on the street due to trailers and several tenants taking up multiple car parks. Would stay again

Wonderful view of my warning so the mountain view room lived up to the advertising
Very clean and great to be able to make coffee and breakfast in the morning. My only small issue was the bed was not the best but my husband thought it was good and he slept really well. So close to the town centre as well.

We are a bit up and down about this motel, the room was fine with plenty of room but the main problem was the bathroom to find we had no light in there at all and the exhaust fan didn’t work either a top louvre was removed to supply ventilation a bit of a problem with children. The other issue was and a reason why we booked with them was breakfast bought to your room even though it’s still listed as a service online and in there in room service book when we asked for a order leaflet was told “we don’t do breakfast anymore”?? Left feeling the whole experience was bit ##**;:

Clean, tidy and spacious. Nice hot shower.
Owner was also caring enough to make a phone call in the morning to warn us about road closures.
Just check the radio before you go to bed....in case the alarm goes off early the next morning.

Exploring NSW North Coast

Good Motel when spending a few days exploring the area.
Only a short drive to Brunswick Heads and the Tweed Coast. A short work into the main area of town which has plenty of cafes and restaurants. There is also a good Club and a number of pubs close by.

During my stay there's constant cigarette smell in the room, coming from guests smoking outside my room. I don't think the hotel should allow anyone to smoke on the premises, not to mention just outside each room on the balcony.

The bathroom has evident mouldy spots on the ceiling, right above the shower area. The wifi connection was quite poor, I wasn't able to use the wifi most of the time.

Refused a second key 🔑 for 2 of us!

Had to go up 4 flights of stairs to get to the room!
