As it was our first time at Hastings point it was lovely to find the apartment as stated on the web
It was clean, specious and had everything you needed.
We were close to a lovely restaurant Ripples, only a 5 minute walk which was lovely not to have to use your car after a long day travelling.
I will definitely be back, great location.

Great location, very quiet

Had a lovely time here - really pleased we picked it. I knew from other reviews to expect a dated property and it was indeed. Unfortunately some of the standouts are super small and could easily be updated/refreshed (like rusty shower/sink drains.. VERY well loved countertops.. very old carpet).. but if you can look past it, staying in a top unit overlooking the estuary was amazing. Though clean enough, I think because of its age, it’s time for more regular deep cleans. Found a dead spider behind the couch, accompanied by lots of dust (probably hasn’t been cleaned in ages)… was only visible because we shifted the couch for a lovely view at sunset over the trees (the sights and sounds are amazing).

Everything about this place was great for us. ( A retired couple staying in the area to visit family)
We've stayed at pretty much every location on the Tweed Coast over the last few years; but this was our first stay at Hastings Point. Lovely area. The apartment was clean comfortable and spacious and had everything required for an excellent week. We're sure to be back.

The room we had was very spacious for 3 adults and 1 child. Parking area was a bit tight and damaged my back door on car. But overall it was a great experience.

We stayed in 2 bedroom unit. Plenty of spare blankets if needed. Clean. Not modern but very comfortable.
Had everything we needed.
We didn’t use the pool as not hot enough.
Staff lovely when we checked in & left.
Didn’t hear any other people staying there, all nice & quiet.
Only issue was our apartment backed onto the main road- so a little noisy in peak time.
I would definitely stay here again.

Thank you Anne we had a great 2 nights there. Couldn't have asked for better service when we rang to say we might be a bit late getting there, Anne said she would stay there till we arrived. Had dinner at nearby restaurant which was lovely and Anne and her husband also were there and kindly offered us an umbrella to get back to the apartment. Lovely people thanks again. Leanne

The property was comfortable but in need of TLC. Door bolts were falling off door handles had salt related damage. Lots of paintwork in need of repair, leaking electric kettle. Our air conditioning did not work but the managers were really helpful and had an air con service person out very quickly to inspect. We had a lovely view over Creek from our balcony.

The booking was for a 2 Bedroom Ground Floor Stand Alone Apartment, so I guess we expected it to be a detached (stand alone) apartment scenario, which it wasn't however perhaps we misinterpreted the terminology?

The staff, property and amenities were really good, however there was a \"tired\" kind of look to the apartment(s) - both inside and outside. This did not detract from our level of comfort & enjoyment though.

Fantastic location in a beautiful part of the South Tweed Coast with an absolute abundance of offerings for both adults and children alike! Wonderful beach, headland and waterway right on your doorstep... FANTASTIC!!!!!

We stayed in a creek view unit and it was amazing. Spacious, well equipped and 2 balconies, one at the back overlooking the creek and a large one at the front overlooking the pool. Loved watching the birds on the creek. A quiet relaxing place.

Great location, close to everything you need. Apartments are older could do with an upgrade of bed in main bedroom everytime you rolled over the bed squeaked and mattress was a bit saggy in the middle. Management was friendly.

We were in Unit 20, the 2 B/R Apt Estuary view. Beds, Linen, Pillows very comfy. Apt had all the right appointments. Just a fabulous place. Pool looked very inviting. Our Host Anne delightful and vivacious. Only downside, no internet service in the rooms. It's a weak signal but can use their free wi-fi outside the office. Cafe table & chairs provided. Great couple of days.

Roomy apartment with everything you need.

Stayed here to be near a cycling event at Tyalgum, so we didn't spend much time in the immediate are, but it was handy to shops. Plenty of room on the apartment, my only complaint is that the hot water wasn't hot enough.

We enjoyed the bird life and the comfort

We really enjoyed the space of the unit and the facilities. It had everything we needed and was in a convenient location within walking distance of the estuary and the surf. A fan in the living area would be nice as we do not like using air-con very much but we were very comfortable.

Great property - clean and tidy, friendly staff

We are a family of 4 and had an amazing 3 nights here, the room was very clean and tidy. The property was well maintained, the pool and gardens couldn't be faulted. Had a great BBQ are next to the pool, which we used instead of cooking in our unit. In a great location 5 min walk to beach and 5 minute drive to Woolies to stock up for our few days away. Just wish we could've stayed longer, but will definetly go back.

Having to empty our own kitchen tidy was a bit much.
Extra toilet rolls had to be purchased.
Bird droppings all over my car and the car port floor was beyond a joke.(I should be charging them a cleaning fee)

Spacious, practical & lovely - near & far enough

The hotel is spacious with beautiful accessories. Has most things you need for a meal in the pantry. It has good hot water and a reasonable fridge.

It is near the estuary, close to the beach and some shops to satisfy essentials you may have left at home!

It is far enough away from the road to create a private quiet space - even from your closest neighbouring accommodation.

Large units close to the beach

Had a seamless experience with the manager - just communicated via email and phone which was ideal. Had a late check in with no issues. The apartment was really big, and clean and had everything we needed, including garden access and the pool looked nice although we didn't use it. The only thing I'd mention is that the apartments was quite old and needed renovating, but all in all, we had a great stay.

Beautiful

The apartment was well furnished and contained everything necessary for a great stay. Situated in an area handy to everything. People holidaying at the same place were considerate of others. Having stayed at the same group of apartments previously, we were impressed that this stay and apartment was just as much a pleasure as it has been previously.

Lovely place to stay with an IGA not far away. Unfortunately, Hastings Point is not a good beach for swimming. A sign warns of sharks and stingers. From the apartments there is easy access to the mouth of the river estuary which is great swimming for kids. Calm clear water. A good time was had by all.

Kid friendly hotel close to the beach

Great hotel if you are a family on holiday. I would not recommend the hotel to couples as having kids screaming around the pool at 8.20am on Sunday morning (pool is in the middle of the complex) was not what I was expecting. We also had smokers in the apartment next door who smoked out the front of our unit and one of the louvre windows was broken so we couldn't shut it to avoid the smell. The dining table also had quite thick dust on it. The rest of the apartment was reasonably clean.

Everything we needed as a family and close to town

We had a relaxing time in our own space, that was big enough for our family. It was great to have kitchen facilities to do our own cooking and catering to our needs.
The location was central to our needs for swimming, shopping and not too far from Tweed and other coastal towns.
