Room was filthy, mouldy, smelt bad, carpet had not been vacuumed, floors and balcony had a thick slimy residue, hair in the bedsheets, dirty spa, even the hairdryer had scum around the handle. I requested a birthday note in the room for my husband and kid and they couldn’t even do that. Other nearby hotels go above and beyond.
The pool and location were the only nice things about this resort. We have stayed here 7 years ago and it was nice then. The whole resort is old and out dated.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay. This is not a hotel per se. It was a motel room with a very uncomfortable bed, so much that when you moved you heard the springs twang. No restaurant, no room service, no bar open after 5pm. All food opportunities are in the village or adjacent hotel where breakfast is served. Very disappointed since we have stayed here before when it was a fully functioning hotel.

Have stayed him many times always impressed at this time they stayed in a hotel room. Not impressed with the hotel style is very small and he gets a kettle.
I would suggest staying in the studio or one bedroom apartment.
Itself is great great location right on the beach restaurants and cafes within the complex complex. Two shopping centres Drive Kingscliff Casarina.
Undercover parking self service.
Also continue with a hotel room you think it would be serviced daily not the case you have to request it. But I able to get access to as many towels as you want from reception.

Everything you need here at Salt, Kingscliff. A variety of restaurants and food options. Patrolled beach, pool, tennis and great walking / cycling path. Our room was freshly painted and clean. We chose the breakfast option and the buffet had a great variety.

The room was fine but the view of the construction site across the road wasn't ideal. Also, impossible to get a coffee or any food/beverage service before midday (I know there are options in the food strip around the corner). The ice-cream freezer near the main pool bar was empty most of the time - it's summer? There just didn't seem to be a lot of staff on hand. Reception team were nice.

Very large hotel which made it a long trek to the room. Very dated. Our bathroom had not been cleaned and despite asking for room service to clean it, after their visit it was still only marginally better and evident that they had not cleaned the shower or bath (based on purple shampoo on the tiles and dirt on the bath that I then easily removed with a wet tissue).

The room was clean, the air conditioning was on prior to our arrival on a very warm day so that was fabulous. The room was soundproof so that was great when the band was on downstairs and we’d had a big day of socialising/wanted some quiet time.

never had the room cleaned over the 4 days we stayed there. had to use the same towels for the duration of the trip. we asked the hotel for new towels on the second day, she said she’ll get a hold of room service for us. we never heard from them again.

room was very small and didn’t have anything. for $1800 it was definitely a rip off.

one bed with no kitchen. no clean towels. no room service. nothing.

wouldn’t recommend this room again. 2/5

We have stayed here numerous times over the last 20 years and the place is starting to look worn, staff numbers and room servicing has reduced meaning it is no longer a serviced apartment. The facilities are still very good and Salt beach is a very good beach that is convenient.

The room/mini apartment was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was great - except when I arrived at 8.30pm there was no food available (restaurant was closed). This should be made clear as I had nothing to eat! Not such a big deal for me but if you were travelling with hungry kids...... Other than that a great stay!

This property is spread over a large area and has a mixture of hotel accommodation. We had a bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool itself was clean having various depths of water suitable for children and those wishing to swim. Plenty of sunbeds and substantial sunshades. Lovely variety of restaurants which all had a takeaway facility. Mini mart for those with self catering accommodation and some clothing shops. The beautiful beach and sea is within 5 minutes walk. Would certainly recommend this hotel .

I was disappointed in the room. We stayed for 5 nights and had a street view from our balcony. The bathroom was for the disabled and the floor flooded every time we had a shower. My vanity bag was on the floor initially, as there was no room on the vanity to place it. The floor was not shaped specifically for runoff. There was no coffee table in the lounge for placing drinks, books etc. /if the room was meant for disabled access, why was it 180 steps from the lift? I must say the staff were wonderful though.

Shower wasn’t clean, balcony had moss growing. Bergeron tv didn’t work no signal all 3 days..
Staff were clearly not expecting us.. when I said I had a booking they gave us a filthy look. Like we didn’t belong.. ok clearly not a “rich person look” but that doesn’t make us less of a guest..
when we asked where breakfast was served. Different staff member needed to check our booking prior to giving us information. We had stated we were booked for breakfast. Requiring to check our booking first made us feel uncomfortable like we hadn’t booked.

Great accomodation for a young family.

I booked it for my daughter, partner and baby. They loved it all. Especially that they were accommodated on the ground floor near the pool ( as requested).Very good with a baby. They also enjoyed the spa, comfort and having a kitchen.

Nice property in a lovely location. However, customer service was absolutely terrible! Had an issue in our room and they did not seem in the slightest interested in helping us to resolve. Even after consulting with the manager, he didn’t even try to help. Getting a taxi was also difficult and again staff seemed reluctant to help. Also, most on site facilities seemed closed. We understand it was off season but there was no warning of this before arrival. Only interested in your money and not your experience. Would never stay there again

We had enquired and had be told that bathrobes were provided but they were not provided. No air fresheners in any bathrooms and exhaust fan did not work in bathrooms

TLC would be great fully appreciated

Found general cleanliness to be lacking in hallways and bathroom. Facility looked and felt dated. Bed was quite uncomfortable to me due to excessive softness. It felt more like a hammock unfortunately. But on a positive note the staff were excellent and check in and checkout were seamless.

We've stayed here before and it is a lovely location.
The bar in the hotel never seems to be open though and no room service, so you have to go outside the hotel for everything food and beverage.
Definitely room for improvement in the cleaning aspect, no internet or foxtel in the bedroom for the tv.
And really dislike the shutters for the bathroom. No one wants to listen to the other person using the bathroom.
The onsite complimentary parking is great.

Enjoyable weekend

We stayed in a one bedroom spa suite, which was compact and a well planned space. The kitchen had oven and microwave, however there was nothing to use in the microwave to cook/heat meals, and nothing to use in the oven, there were enough pots and pans for the stove top. The bathroom was very nice however the partition between the bathroom and bedroom was not sufficient to block out sounds (slats, no glass). The bed was comfortable it was a cold weekend, we had to ask for a blanket as none were supplied initially. The position of the windows was great and meant you can look out from the seating and the bed. The balcony had room for a little round table and 2 chairs and two sunbeds. Our view was over the local neighbourhood with a view of the ocean in the distance. It was quiet in August. There are airplanes flying over occasionally. The Resort with its lovely pool area, and gardens with sunbeds and shade is nicely thought out and we would have spent more time there if it hadnt been so cold. We planned to use the Bbqs but it poured with rain. We had a bit of fun playing table tennis. The restaurants are in Peppers Resort. The coffee/bar in the reception area seemed to be closed most of the time. There is a very short walk around the side of the resort to a coffee shop, fish shop, mini mart, icecream and clothing shops. There is a large bar and restaurant there as well. We walked along the path to Kingscliff and back approx 3 km each way. The scenery was really beautiful.
