Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to cleanliness issues. Many items in the kitchen didn’t appear to be properly cleaned, which made it uncomfortable to use. Basic supplies were also lacking — only two rolls of toilet paper, one bin liner, and no essentials like salt or pepper were provided. On top of that, the 9am checkout felt unnecessarily early compared to the standard 10am most accommodations offer. Overall, the stay didn’t meet expectations and could be improved with better attention to detail and guest convenience.

Absolutely loved our stay at Rainbow Bay Resort. The location is incredible — not far from the beach and could still see the surfer line-up from our side apartment. It has a very relaxed and a peaceful vibe. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything we needed.
The facilities were fantastic, especially the pool and outdoor areas. Everything felt well looked after, and it made for a truly relaxing stay.
Checking in and out was quick and easy, and the owners are super nice and helpful.

Overall it was adequate for our stay seeing we booked last minute. Staff were excellent, but the room was very tired and needed a renovation.

Our apartment was next to a construction site and they started work at 6.00 in the morning and the noise from that site was horrendous. Had a headache every time they worked. Could not recommend this place to anyone while site is being built. They haven’t even started the building yet still working on foundations

The resort is close to two shopping centres and has many options for dinner, coffee or walk along the beach or walkway. The room were large and tastefully decorated. Love our stay even though there was a bit of building noise next door. But building everywhere on Gold Coast! Thank you Kylie and Brendan

Location was quite good, although not actually on the beach. We knew that. Ocean views were as advertised. A very light and airy apartment, with heavy block-out curtains for night time. Overhead fans and aircon, neither of which were necessary in early/mid November. On the negative side, there was an almost complete lack of useful information in the apartment - TV instructions on the back of entry door was it! No books, games, DVDs (although some of those may have been available at reception), no toiletries. Comfortable, but….sparse.

The apartment was spacious with a lovely view and outdoor verandah, but the owners badly need to renovate and modernize it. It doesn't appear to have had anything done since it was built. The worst thing was it wasn't clean! I wanted to leave straight away. I was up till midnight cleaning things - fridge, dishes, dishwasher, (full of food scraps), floor. I left enough to show the managers in the morning. They were most apologetic & upset as in the yr they had been there this was the 3rd set of cleaners they were on.. While we were out they came in & cleaned the apartment for us, and bought new cleaning equipment for the apartment, including vacuum cleaner.
Shane and Sue were so helpful and caring. The perfect people to manage such a place, but they were badly let down by the apartment owners who should not rent it out till they renovate & modernise it, and the cleaners who seem to have only changed the sheets.

Rainbow Bay Resort is in a fantastic spot. Easy walk to beach, surf club, Coolangatta & Tweed Heads. $10 meals at the Surf Club. Huge meals & best position on the beach. So many Cafes, Restaurants or Clubs to choose from. Easy access to public transport to Surfers Paradise The two bedroom apartment at the Resort is large containing everything you need for an enjoyable stay. North corner two bedroom two bathroom suite with lovely ocean view and a big deck so we always had some shade. Near currumbin sanctuary which we loved. Bldg managers Greg and felicity were super hosts. We are staying seven weeks so I guess we like the place. We have come here for three years. We will come back
