Staff wonderful, go to great effort for pleasant and easy booking in on arrival, big tick to staff in office,cabin very clean and roomy except for the bathroom which is small but shampoo,conditioner and body wash provided ,,also a hairdryer big tick for that,,easy parking, very close to cabin,,nice size pool,camp kitchen,great park for a quiet restful time,.

The cabin was clean, cosy and comfortable - it had everything I needed for my stay. Staff were particularly kind and went above and beyond when something went slightly wrong in my cabin - it wasn’t their fault but they made sure it was fixed quickly and even gave me a little apology gift. I would happily stay there again.

The curtains had blood on them and the A/C unit was covered in dust (this was actioned very quickly and issues were dealt with ), where the toilet is the wall directly in front has other people’s hair and pubic hair on it, the floors had dirty on them so I was constantly wiping my feet when walking around the cabin

The kitching had everything you need in pots and pans.
the cabin was very clean and easy to keep clean each day.
The bed was just right they have soft and hard pillows with in the cabin.
The pool was ok but very cold but once you got in it was ok..

We had a lovely stay it was easy to get around all the Tweed area, they welcomed vistors to pop in.

BUT the best thing the TOILET PAPER 10 out of 10 a lot of caravan place don't care about the about the small things....

Our cabin was right near the boom gate, very noisy all night long.
The power cut off twice through the night.
The planes and traffic noise was too much.
Pool not heated.
Was not very relaxing at all after a long day of driving.

One nights getaway for anniversary

It was a very comfortable stay great bed ,good sized studio cabin , great mini kitchen area, walking distance to fish shop and beach , short drive to bowls club . Very quiet at night friendly office staff . Coffee van available for the morning . Great games room for families and bbq pool area .

Good location for reaching the south GC, although not much around/ car required- which I knew about.
The studio cabins are not quite as depicted in the photos- it is one cabin split into 3 with paper thin walls- all coughs and TVs can be heard from the other cabins.
Good aircon and shower, however bathroom was pretty run down.
Bed sufficiently comfortable. Expensive for the value provided.

Sorry for negative review but this room was less than average. In no way did it reflect the photo in the advertisement.
In the bathroom, the holder for the shampoo, conditioner & soap was broken which meant it was impossible to “pump” the liquids out whilst showering.
In the living area/ bedroom the TV protruded from the wall between the bed & bathroom we needed to leave a light on all night to ensure we didn’t hit our heads during the night.
There was nowhere to store any gear because the kitchen cupboards ( the only space provided) were so cluttered with equipment it was impossible to put any gear into them which meant leaving our clothing in our suitcases on the floor.
At 1.30am the fire alarm went off for an extended period for no reason. We had already noticed that the alarm had been relocated from its previous location. The only way to stop the alarm was by removing it from the ceiling.
Relative to all other accommodation we stayed in over 2 weeks, this one felt like we should have been paid to stay there!!
The unit was “outside” the security boom gate.

Unfortunately a very disappointing stay. From the moment we checked in to our cabin the dirt and mould was evident throughout. This place has not been properly cleaned in years. Kids beds were terrible, with ridiculously old and hard mattresses with a large amount of dust, dirt and mould all around the bunk bed windows. Holes in the wall in the bathroom that could have very easily been repaired. Balcony roofing/awning is undone and would be dangerous in high winds. Loads of dust and dirt under tables and beds and floor was dirty. There was a broom in the cupboard to sweep (which was definitely needed) but no dustpan to sweep the pile up off the ground. Very disappointing for the Ingenia brand.
Pros:
Reception staff were friendly and helpful
The pool area was nice enough and seemed to be well maintained.

This is my second time staying here in the last couple of years and it just wasn’t as well maintained as it was previously. I know there was a weather event a couple of weeks ago but I would’ve hoped the shade sail over the pool could’ve gone back up by now, blackspot be tackled in the pool and a little bit of maintenance to the grounds like lawns be done.

We rented a cabin for two days we only stayed for one as the parking for the cabin was difficult due to a van site next door and only a limited area to park infront of the cabin. The bed was very poor very soft no support and it collapsed in the centre where my wife and I would roll to. The grounds of the complex were untidy and in good need of a clean up. The cabin itself was small and a little dirty.

The park itself is great.
The Villa left a lot to be desired. The bathroom especially the ceiling was covered in mould which was quite concerning health wise.
The second bedroom with bunks didnt have a fan. I know they couldn't have a ceiling mounted one due to bunks but even a small wall mounted one would give air flow. There was air con in the lounge/kitchen/dining which got some in but this meant leaving the door open. If you had light sleepers it would be hard to do anything in the living space.

Stayed in small cabin, good for the price, clean, comfy bed. Convenient to park next to entrance door. Compact kitchenette worked ok for us.
It would be nice to have hooks for hanging clothes and towels plus a shelf in the bathroom, but otherwise ok.

We did not have a designated car park.
We would suggest that a towel rail be added to the kitchen area for hanging the tea towel.
The fan on the wall in the bedroom was not efficient and was very dirty. It may work better after a good clean or better still, be replaced.
The pool was great and the location suited our purposes. Thanks

Paid extra $120 charge for children, yet their bunk beds weren't made upon arrival, only sheets left on the beds to make for ourselves. If you're going to be charged to use them, they should be made up for you. Additionally, the bunks aren't vacuumed under the mattress; sand, rubbish, etc. They are also short, so our 12yr old had to sleep on the lounge which was longer. Not a great starting impression.
Aircon is only in the living area, so need to sleep with the main bedroom door open & aircon on 18 degrees to get some of the cool air into the bedroom. Also meant the kids were freezing as the bunks are in the living room.
There was limited/missing cups & plates, not enough of everything for 4 guests. Need to be checked after each stay in case of breakages etc.
Otherwise, it was clean, the main bed was comfortable, the shower was hot with great water pressure, the pool is big & covered with a shade sail. It was expensive for what it was, but it was Christmas holidays & we still enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in a cabin, but as a pre entry form we had to sign a form to say that its not recommended top bunks for under 9 years, and when booking they knew our eldest child was 6. However with 3 children and 1 bunk and 1 single, our eldest had to go on the top bunk. Which when we arrived the top bunk was not sheeted as the other 2 beds were. And none of the kids beds had the top sheet or quilt made, so my husband and i had quite a task once arrived. But i also had a 6 yr old forced to sleep on a bed which had signs in the cabin and i had to sign on pre arrival that under 9 were not allowed to sleep on. Then there were just little things like we were given one face washer for a family of 5. The dishwashing liquid is so watered down it barely made bubbles. We had 3 bowls for 5 cereal eaters. We were left with dirty pots and pans to use. The standard was average. There was mould in the tile grout and ceiling in the bathroom. It was just average.

Extremely helpful reception staff, our parking was difficult & the lady went out of her way to help. Only issue was that there was a light bulb missing in the above bed reading lights & the mattress dipped in the middle, even so, I certainly recommend this place. Checked a price from a caravan park up the road at Tweed & it was $77 more expensive & we only had a cabin.

We stayed in a studio cabin, which needs a little tlc!
I love the closeness to Kingscliff beach, shops, restaurants and grocery store. The cabin needs some hooks on bathroom door, as there is no where to hang clothes while having a shower. A stick on mirror on the wardrobe would be helpful and a hook or rack to hang the tea towel on. Salt and pepper would also be nice. Staff are always helpful and friendly, great stop off point when heading north for one or two nights!

Lovely little cozy vacation

It’s a cozy little holiday park, one of the smallest we have been to but really enjoyed the nice staff and hospitality. People are super Fri, and neighbours are quiet. Everyone is very good.
Rooms are quite and cozy, location is not the best but there are buses around to take you to groceries and restaurants.

They didn't take out the rubbish from the previous people who stayed in the room, which stunk out the room once we opened the cupboard where it was located. The smell didn't go away even after we took it out.
There were broken and loose tiles coming up from the bathroom floor.
There were spider webs all up around the sky light too.

The cabin was comfortable, however we were in a dual cabin (shared wall and verandah) with young children beside us which made a quiet Sunday sleep in almost impossible after a night out. On the plus side, the air con in the loungeroom area worked great, so did the fridge. But a ceiling in bedroom would have been ideal in the hot conditions of the North Coast of NSW.. Some of the lights throughout the cabin did not work, leaving the bedroom and loungeroom fairly dimly lit.
Overall, a good experience nice park, well maintained outdoors, lovely staff, and we will definitely stay again.

The cabin was perfect for myself and my two children. It was so nice and clean and beautifully decorated. The swimming pool was always immaculate, and there was no riffraff in the park, which is important when travelling with children. Only downside is of course the noise from the highway which is close and the couple of flooded cabins that are still on site, but neither of this was a huge concern to us. Definitely returning.
