One of the best places I stayed in Morocco. The hosts are extremely hospitable and arranged everything very smoothly. The food (especially the breakfast) was just so amazing and all the staff was very kind too. Location is couldn't be better. Highly recommend this place and if you are debating don't think twice.

It was perfect

My wife and I travelled here to stay a night before a tent experience in the Merzouga dunes. The whole experience was 1st class, the greeting, the quality of the rooms, the food was fantastic with the chicken tagine being the best meal we have had so far in Morroco and the breakfast was incredibly generous. It feels like a family business and they welcome you like a family guest. 10/10 from us

What a beautiful place to stay! The day before we checked in the hotel reach out to provide details on how to get to the hotel. After a 8 hour drive when we arrived, the staff confirm that it was me and let us rest provide us with tea. The breakfast is amazing and the restaurant food was delicious. They helped us book the all the desert activities. I would recommend this hotel

Fantastic property with very friendly staff. We decided to stay here instead of a ‘luxury desert camp’ because there were so many with similar names. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast by Ismail was varied and tasty. The hotel also arranges camel and quad bikes for the lowest prices we could find so we didn’t haggle. Its best to book these activities though the hotel for a hassle free experience as these activities are next to the hotel.

This hotel is amazing. The room and swimming pool were spotless, and I appreciated being allowed to check in early.

All the staff were welcoming and kind. A special thanks to Mr. Hassan, who arranged activities for us and helped us find a supermarket. The breakfast was delicious, and my kids especially loved the pasta! :)

If I visit Merzouga again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you for making our experience so memorable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Amazing!

Wow wow wow - this hotel, the location and the staff are all incredible!

If you're thinking about going to Merzouga for a camel tour and need an extra night to stay, I'd highly recommend this place. The town is quieter than Merzouga and in our opinion, the people seemed much more relaxed and friendlier too! This place is also located 5mins away from an Oasis and just the other side of that, the sand dunes begin...we arrived in the dark and couldn't believe the views when we woke up!!

After breakfast on the first day, we went for a little explore and after 15mins of walking found ourselves in the middle of the dunes, totally alone with untouched sand all around - it is honestly unbelievable!!

We ended up booking an extra night here and delaying the rest of our trip because we loved it so much. The rooms are HUGE and have everything you need. The dinner menu is great (we had two lunches and two dinners and tried several of the meals - you won't go hungry!).

The staff are all so friendly and welcoming - they go above and beyond for you in every way. They even let us order dinner through WhatsApp before we arrived (it was getting very late) so that when we got to the hotel we could sit and have dinner straight away.

They helped us book a camel tour and buggy tour, both of which were fantastic.

Couldn't have been happier that we booked to stay here - would highly recommend ⭐😄

Delightful surprise!

We randomly found this place and it blew our mind. It is so beautifully designed, so well appointed and above all clean. It is a new property and they have done a spectacular job on every level. The finish work and detail is incredible and the cleanest kitchen ever turning out delicious homemade food. I even got a tangine cooking lesson. The location is superb and they can arrange all activities in the dunes easily. Hmed and his team were so hospitable, we felt like family from the moment we walked in the door. This is the real Morroco! Would go back in heartbeat!

Best in Merzouga NEW awesome hotel

Perfect stay - everything I had hoped for and more. Dont look any further. This property has is all. Brand new. Large rooms. Lovely decor. Strong A/C. Refrigerator in room which I love. Lovely rugs everywhere. The outdoor spaces are lovely. I didn’t use the pool but it was clean and nice. Staff were so kind and attentive. We ate dinner two nights in a row it was great. Just plan to order two hours or more in advance. They can help with tours but my favorite part was the shop connected in the free parking zone. Best store, tons of inventory and better quality stuff. Roof top is a nice surprise. Breakfast was fine, classic options ready and waiting for you. So, if you are headed to Merzouga I don’t know why you would pick a different hotel this one has it all. I saw whole apartments with upstairs and everything but our room was a king bed and a twin we didn’t even need. Quality firm bed. Large nice shower. I can’t say enough about this hotel it really made our stay in a very hot place really easy and comfortable. Get the tagines for dinner. Best we’ve had. Thanks for a really nice stay I wish you all great success with your thoughtful and lovely property.

The property is incredible, Assou and his teams are very professional, helpful and knowledgeable about local area and activities, great breakfast and one of the best dinners in Morocco prrpared by the restaurant team. Awesomepatio views of thesand dunes, Asdoi reached out about the area and dinning options and was very helpful. We felt welcomed and served tea on the patio, watching the sunset which was beutiful. it was raining and cold so didn't use the pool but it looked clean and nice, very spacious rooms, clean with comfortable beds,

The manager was super awesome. He served us tea as soon as we got there with fresh peanuts and local delicious cookies, which were really refreshing, and mint tea which was delicious. We asked him to show us the night sky because we were in the Sahara desert and that night he walked us to a dark area and saw the beautiful night sky and the milky way. The following day we scheduled a sunrise camel ride to the Sahara dunes which was a highlight of our trip. The dinner the previous night was delicious and we craved more after the meal. The following day the cook topped off my mug with coffee for our continuing driving trip which kept me exactly as I needed over the next day. I would highly recommend this place for a stop over no matter what the length of your stay. The rooms were huge as well! (with a fridge, utensils, dishes and everything we needed.) It's cold in the winter, so dress warmly!

This was a good experience - the rooms are clean and comfortable. The heating works well which was important in December. The staff is helpful and all our requests were promptly addressed. There is a restaurant onsite with decent food. They made us some special vegetarian food too which we requested. The breakfast in the morning was included in our rate and was pretty good as well. Overall I would say this place is value for money and I would stay here again if I was in the area.

If you are planning to visit the Merzouga desert, make sure you stop and stay here before or after your desert camp. This hotel has AMAZING food and hospitality. We are vegetarian and the chef made us one of the best meals we have had in Morocco, a delicious pesto pasta, salads and vegetables. Everyone at this hotel treats you like family and they offer complimentary laundry and also beautiful family suites with kitchen for larger families or groups. Each suite has its own AC unit which cools your room down pretty quickly. This is a newer property that was completed just before covid, so it's an authentic and very relaxing experience.

Amazing place!

We got there on a very windy day and we loved seeing the Sahara Desert from our very clean room. The pool was very refreshing and the food was delicious. The staff could not be more helpful and had a terrific sense of humor. We took a 4-wheel drive tour out and around the area and experienced a local family in the desert. We learned how they live and she shared tea and home-made bread with us in one of her tents. The camel ride into the desert was to die for!!! I highly recommend Hassilabiad Appart Hotel for every one

Ladies and gentlemen’s this lodging place it’s just awesome, I have an unforgettable experience and for sure I’ll be staying here next time. Exceptional services excellent hospitality and friendly staff. The food is delicious, huge rooms with A/C, clean pool, The place it’s located at the entrance of the town coming south to north With nice view. from here you can have a wonderful sunrise and sundown while enjoying you coffee or tea just make sure to climb to the roof which they have made just for this and also you can sleep there during summer, also There’s an antique shop about 200 feet to the south of the place where you can get some souvenirs to your fam and friends, 500 feet north there is a plaza with convenience stores if you like ice-cream and espresso coffee, and Cookies bakery, 700 feet east, the dunes ocean and oasis to chill out, and meet the locals. What I can said this place it’s near everything and super clean in every aspect and well recommended.

I was lucky enough to stay with my family at this hotel for one night.wish it had been longer.
The hotel is well located a short walk from the oasis and the sand dunes.the room was immaculate and first class with excellent attention to detail.the elegance and character of the staff and the place itself was top notch.the food was absolutely wonderful and pleasing.
The views from the terrace are superb and breathtaking.
This hotel was so good,it made us reluctant to leave the property.we definitely recommend this place.the best one so far hands down

A very friendly arrival with delightful Moroccan hospitality, in fact I had correspondence with the hotel prior to arrival enquiring about activities we could be doing. The apartment was very nicely appointed with the bedrooms split between the ground floor and first floor. Both rooms serviced by separate shower rooms. Kitchen seemed well kitted out, we actual had breakfast one lunch and two dinners there which were very good with lovely freshly cooked food.

Our stay in hassilabiad appart hotel was a great stay the only placed we felt home and surrounded by Familly and friends , we felt very welcomed by every one and we had a great food we try a variety of food and some desert and local speciality , the location was close to every things and we walked to the sand dunes and to the oases where local mad their vegetables and every things was organic , we learned a lot about the irrigation system in the desert and how they can find water in the desert , our experience was the best , thank you Assou Amar for this great time and we looking forward next time

Cet hôtel est tout simplement magnifique! La chambre était grande, propre, bien décorée et le frigo était bienvenu. La nourriture était excellente, nous nous sommes vraiment régalés. Mais surtout le personnel était très accueillant, tout le monde très souriant et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la promenade au coucher de soleil dans les dunes! Merci encore, nous avons passé un très bon moment avec vous. Nous reviendrons chez vous si nous repassons par là une fois.

Magnifique hôtel quasi neuf, calme et superbement décoré avec une belle piscine (non chauffée) donnant du cachet à l'établissement.
Nous avons logé dans une chambre triple très propre et lumineuse donnant sur le jardin.
Assou, le propriétaire de l'hôtel, nous a gentiment proposé de conserver notre chambre et d'y laisser nos affaires durant la nuit où nous étions dans le désert, ce que nous avons grandement apprécié.
Très belle terrasse sur le toit avec vue superbe sur les dunes de sable qui se trouvent en face de l'hôtel (il suffit de traverser la palmeraie à pied pour se retrouver dans le désert en moins de 10 minutes).
Le petit déjeuner était excellent et très complet (pain traditionnel, crèpes baghir, crèpes Msemmen, confitures, omelette berbère, jus d'orange frais, fruits, dates, yogourts......).
Durant notre séjour, nous avons également pris le repas du soir, qui a été concocté spécialement pour nous (salade, tajine agneau aux pruneaux, figues et abricots, fruits) : un vrai régal !! A recommander.
Enfin, un accueil extrêmement chaleureux et très attentionné de toute l'équipe (notamment Hassan) avec un grand merci au propriétaire Assou qui a rendu notre séjour unique grâce à toutes ses attentions, à sa gentillesse, à sa disponibilité et à son hospitalité. Il a été aux petits soins, du début à la fin de notre séjour, et nous avons grandement apprécié tous nos échanges quotidiens.
En résumé, une adresse exceptionnelle, à tout point de vue, que nous recommandons fortement.
