I’d love to give this place a good review because up until the last day it was honestly pretty good. But watch out and always ask for specific prices for things or they will take advantage of you.
The hotel offers a trip via camel to the Sahara desert including a night in tents, followed by a car ride back to the hotel, which they quoted to us for 60 euro a person.
What we discovered after our 10 minute car ride back to the hotel is that they consider this car ride a “tour” and charged us an additional 30 euros each for a total of 60 more euros, which is absolutely ridiculous. So either you are stuck out in the Sahara desert at a campsite, or you’re forced to go on this 10 minute car ride “tour” back to the hotel for 60 euros.

Schade, dass die Anlage nicht besser gepflegt wird, überall, auch im Zimmer, Staub der schon länger dort ist - Esstische draussen und Liegestühle werden wohl nie geputzt, (berücksichtigt, dass es mit Sandstürmen nicht einfach ist). Betten sehr gut, Essen gut, gute Lage Nähe Dünen. Personal steht lieber rum als was zu tun.

expedia propose pour 80 euros environ pour 2 personnes pour une nuit en tente (bivouac) avec 2h de dromadaire aller et 2 h retour, un thé d'accueil, un dîner copieux et succulent (entrée/plat/dessert), et le soir une musique traditionnelle berbère.

Extraordinaria noche en el desierto
Por error reservamos en el desierto, lo que nos permitió disfrutar de una noche espectacular, en unas magníficas tiendas con todas las comodidades y atendidos por un personal muy simpático y competente. Magnifica puesta de sol, estupenda cena en cantidad y calidad y un amanecer que nunca olvidaremos. Gracias por una experiencia única.

Fighting against the desert
Technically, the sand dunes around Ksar Bicha are not part of the Sahara. But the landscape is barren and the hotel is an luxurious exception in Merzouga, close to the frontier with Algeria and the limits of the desert. As soon as the wind starts, sand from the dunes will blow in your eyes and nose.
The hotel is simple, rooms are comfortable and food is standard Moroccan fare. No alcohol, of course. Good service around the nice pool.
Everybody is waiting to get into the sand, be it on camels, motorcycles or VTT's. Choose your fun and decide wether you want to pass the night in the Bivouac, the rudimentary camps in the dunes. Or visit the nearby oasis, the best proof of the incoming desert and the drying out of the source.
The hotel is simple, rooms are comfortable and food is standard Moroccan fare. No alcohol, of course. Good service around the nice pool.

Muito bom hotel..quarto confortável.. bom banho...mas o que se destaca no hotel é o atendimento de modo geral..em especial de Ali...sempre pronto a nos atender em tudo que precisamos...sempre muito simpático.. fizemos 2 excursões oferecidas por ele que foram maravilhosas..em especial a noite dormida em tenda no deserto...com um conforto extraordinário. .. isso tudo..sem falar na comida..a melhor das que com o no Marrocos..se voltar um dia ..com certeza me hospedarem lá.

Ah lala! Apres une courte nuit dans le désert, dire au revoir à nos ami éphémère retournant avec le taxi a Marrakech (10heures de route) pour rester dans cet endroit calme, isolé et magnifique. Je dis certainement! Je suis avant tout un urbain, alors d'Apprécié un endroit isolé c'est bien aprce qu'il a un cachet! L'hotel était simplement vide, tout était a nous, la salle a manger (service personnalisé) la terrasse et la piscine, et les environs. Comme les nuits était fraiches en Novembre, la piscine était malheureuement trop froide le jour. Mias bon, le décors comblait ce petit manque. Piscine ou pas, faut dire que nous sommes dans le desert alors, c'est tout de même un gros luxe. La nourriture était excellente et le service courtoit. à la bonne franquette et sans stress. Certains trouveront cela p-ê trop familier comme concept. Vous serez peut-être mieux dans une formule tout inclus 5 étoiles au Mexique. Pour une \"expérience\" Merzouga et le Ksar Bicha, ca vaut le peine!

Wunderschön eingerichtes Zimmer, das Bett war sehr groß, sehr gute Heizung (Januar) und eine sehr ruhige Nacht gehabt. Frühstück war fantastisch. Vom Hotel kann man auch zu Fuß in die Sanddünen. Abendessen bestand aus Suppe, Vorspeise und Hauptspeise für 10 Euro.

Alle Wünsche wurde erfüllt, die Rezeption kann sehr gut Deutsch und man kann sich spontan für eine Dromedartour entscheiden, weil die Eigentümer eigene Tiere und ein eigenes Camp besitzen. Sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen gern wieder.
