There is no hot tub. The front desk worker told me they haven't had it in about 4 years (my stay was March 2026). There was a sign in my bathroom saying to ask the front desk for towels for the pool, so presumably no one has bothered to take those down in 4 years. He claimed they couldn't get the hot tub listing off of the websites. There was no TV. He claimed Spectrum Cable was working on the lines. The shower faucet had a gap between the metal part and the plastic shower wall. There was a small stain on the shower curtain. The toilet had blue water in it, perhaps from someone dumping toilet cleaner in it and leaving it; I flushed it and it was clear. The toilet flush handle had to be held down for a 10-15 seconds for it to flush. The sign out front is dirty and there are no letters on the part of the sign that would usually have a message on it. The way the lighting is, it almost looks closed from the outside. My room's thermostat was set at 60 degrees when I walked in, but it did warm up fine. The placed seemed clean. It's a short walk from a good breakfast restaurant. For $55, I guess I got what I paid for.

This is clearly a very small operation, only saw two people actually working there. Nobody was at the front desk at any point when we walked up and we were disappointed to find several of our friends called to reserve a room and were unable to reach anyone. If you don’t answer your phone, you’re not gonna get much business.

The room itself was relatively clean, although grossly outdated. We found our toilet leaked every time you flushed it. The showerhead, appeared old and broken as water sprayed out more from the pipe’s connection than the shower head itself.
They also claimed the TVs did not work because the cable was out and it was being worked on . The business next-door to them used the same cable service with no problem, so for two days we got used to watching shows on our phones and being grateful that at least the electrical outlets worked for our charging stations. And if you’re checking out the picture (on the Expedia page) of the pool, it’s slightly inaccurate because it lacks water.. so it’s somewhat misleading. The fridge and microwave worked and were clean as well as a clean bed and linens, they were pretty worn mattresses. If you’re looking for an inexpensive room for the night and don’t need many amenities, this would be the place to go. There is no complementary breakfast of any sort so we decided to hit the quick trip for coffee and donuts.

Overall, three stars seems generous based on other hotels in town.

Room had chipped paint, mold in shower, tv that didn’t work ( I called three times about the tv and he just said the cable company was having an outage, I don’t believe this). The pool they mention on the website had no water in it, the hot tub that was mentioned on the website was non-existent, the continental breakfast they had a sign about by the front desk was nonexistent.

Light switch in room turned off lights, microwave, and TV. Couldn't use switch to turn off lights and watch TV. No staff at front desk. Pool is drained. Stayed for 4 days and housekeeping never even emptied garbage. TV was so old remote did not control it at all other than changing channel on cable box. Overall very disappointed.

Room was dirty, stains everywhere, old food with bugs in microwave, mini fridge had a exploded beverage in it with a mess, hair in bathroom vanity, stains on bed that appeared to be blood, lots of suspicious activity in rear by doors. I ask for another room and was denied, i asked for a refund and was denied, ill never go back.

Shower fan right above tub started dripping from people above us when they were running their shower. One of the light switches worked intermittently. Front desk staff was hard to get a hold of, they had a phone on desk to \"dial 0\" for service, we did and either it took them forever or not at all. Two of the coffee creamers were hard, looked more like putty. Air conditioner would run for one minute, turn off for two minutes, turn on for one minute, & this would repeat the whole time, it would not run consistently. Screen on window was bent & full of cobwebs.

Bath tube switch does not allow water to only run through the shower in room 108. Both shower and tub water run water though cause tube to over fill while taking a shower. Repair needs to be made in room 108 shower.

Upon arriving at the Wautoma Inn by OYO Near Airport WI 73, I was told they were fully booked and had no rooms available, even though I had a confirmed reservation. The man at the front desk blamed it on the 3rd booking party Hotels.com/ Expedia.
So to be turned away with no resolution from the hotel I had to find another hotel to stay at for the evening.
Upon returning from this trip and checking my credit card, I find not only did the Wautoma Inn hotel charge me, but also Expedia for a \"no-show\". (Charged twice for a hotel that I couldn't stay in.) I called the hotel at the number on my reservation and it was a phone number not in use. I found another number and was connected to a virtual assistant that said they were connecting me to the customer service, to which they disconnected the call 3 times. I also called Expedia and was told they tried calling the hotel and they were not available and would keep trying.

Do not book at this hotel! They did not honor my reservation (no rooms available/ sold out) and they charged me anyway. Traveler beware!

When we got there, the manager said he has no rooms for us, that he never received the reservation from hotels.com. We paid for 1 of the 2 rooms in advance and were to pay the 2nd room on arrival. No reservation, but somehow he managed to charge us for the 2nd room as a no-show. When asked about refunding our money he said he can't help us with that. So I am dealing with it through our credit card. How awful this was for a holiday weekend.

We paid $110 for two night stay and it was not worth a penny more. The room smelled, the air conditioner did not work, the carpet was in bad repair, the recliner looked like something that was dragged out of the dump and worked like it, too. The paint in the shower was peeling badly, only one paper cup was in the room, the pillows were so flat that the four on the bed together was like one standard pillow. Outside by the front door is a large santa bear and it is June! The hair dryer was so grimmy that my hand was very sticky after using it. I did not wash my hair the second day so I did not have to use the hair dryer. All in all, I guess it was worth $50 a night, maybe!

Where do I start. Breakfast and pool were closed \"due to maintenance\". Was not informed when I booked hotel or when I checked in. Bedding was thin with holes. Mattresses had stains on them. Wautoma temps this weekend were below zero with wind chill in the -teens. Unfortunately, the wind was blowing in through the A.C. outlet and through the seams in the outaide walls. Rather stay in the car next time.

Owner was complete jerk. Booked a double queen and he didn’t have any double queens available when we arrived. We settled for a single king and went to the room. Realizing one of our people would have to sleep in a recliner, I went to the desk and asked for an additional blanket. He yelled at me for 20 minutes because we had 3 people in a king room and wanted me to call Orbitz and ask them why they let me book a double when none were available. After about 45 minutes, he bought a worn out stinky comforter to the room. Then 20 minutes later, he called my room and asked me to come to the front desk, when I went there, his wife wanted to charge me additional money. Complete joke. There’s not many options in Wautoma but I’d avoid this place if possible.

This was my second stay at this property. The first time, I was surprised to find a pool because it was not listed in it's amenities. So no bathing suit. This time, I invited family to join me in the pool. There we were in our suits ready to enter the pool area, and we were told that the pool was closed for repairs. It wasn't, it was the breakfast area that I only found out about the next morning. The hallway carpets were stained and dirty and were very offputting.

The room was clean and had the basics. The fixtures are a bit tired. The toilet seat has seen better days. the ceiling had been repaired but painted in areas with a different shade of white. Outside the areas were free of debris but the stone area the plantings could use a good weeding. Overall, a decent place to stay - not much available in Wautoma, Wi. We have stayed there more than once.

Arrived at 4:30 pm to check in. No one at front desk. Called number provided for 30 minutes and no one answered. Walked through the hallways and finally found someone in the laundry room who got someone to meet me at the front desk. Hot tub is filled in with cement. No breakfast provided. Sign on breakfast room door says closed for maintenance. Past reviews show its been closed for years. Wouldn't recommend or plan to stay there again.

The table lamps did not work properly. On/off switches did not operate correctly. I was cold at night. No service personnel available to get me a blanket. Coffee maker on arrival had a used coffee pouch in pot. No room service for second day. No coffee pouches or clean towels. Lunchroom was closed both days. No breakfast!! No service personnel on checkout. Boxelder bugs.....
