The rooms were not at all as pictured in their ad. They were not cleaned--the bed was made, but the sheets had not been changed when I pulled back the covers, it was obvious it had been slept in; the pillowcases and sheets had black hair on them and some type of nasty fluid stain on them. There was also some kind of greasy fluid on the nightstand. There was days old food trash in the trashcan, and food stains on the carpet which had obviously not been vacuumed. I spoke to the front desk and she cut me off and made tried to make excuses. She offered me another room--same issues. In addition, the parking spaces outside of our outside entrance room were blocked off because the Hollywood actor Ben Stiller was filming a movie there in the morning and that because of that, we couldn't park in front of our room. Instead, at 10 pm in 15 degree temperatures, my teen daughter and I had to cart all of our luggage from \"designated parking\" located almost the length of a football field behind their second building! I found a parking space that was open four spots away from my room, so I parked there. At 6:30 in the morning a black man comes knocking on my door asking me to move my car because they were getting ready to shoot the movie! The hotel should not have sold rooms to the public in this case. This was the worst experience of my life when it comes to accommodations. The place is a dive and definitely not worth the $100 they scammed me for!

It gave us two good nights of sleep for how low the price was, the bed was clean, didn’t have any smell and the bathroom was clean properly, again for the price you can’t ask for more but it did also come with free breakfast and the staff were nice.

This hotel was very disappointing. Upon check in the customer ahead of us complained of mice in his room. Then the front desk employee did not even say hi or make eye contact but simply asked “checking in?” It went downhill from there. The room was poorly appointed with worn furnishings, no working AC making the room extremely stuffy, and 3 of the 5 dingy lights out of service. We found long hairs on the duvet cover. The bed itself was appallingly saggy. I’ve slept on half inflated air beds that provided more support. At well over $100 a night this was a terrible value. The ambiance suggested a $49 dollar price point. Many other comparably priced hotels in the area that take pride in their lodging. Highlight was the nice buffet breakfast the next morning to fuel our poorly rested and disgusted selves.

The rooms smelled, like a nursing home. Faintly urine, mostly chemical cleaner. We had two rooms. Bed linnens were dingy, and pretty much just sheets. No warm blankets, so we had to crank the heat up to sleep comfortably. There was a lot of hair on the pillows and in the beds in both rooms, so it looked like they had not changed the sheets - just made the bed. We had to ask the desk for more sheets and change them outselves. All the linens looked dingy,

The room was fine-ish, albeit very dated. The closet door stuck, and the room itself had a slight odor (not of smoke but a slightly musky odor nonetheless). The front desk staff was polite when it was there. I stopped by once around 7:30pm, and nobody could be found. The complimentary breaskfast was slightly better than I anticipated, even if still a little basic. Overall, it's a functional, safe decision if you're looking for a convenient location equidistant between Downtown and Palisades Center plus directly off the highway.

Cement building so noise is amplified, whether it's people using the stairs, running down the sidewalk outside or the highway right next door. Bedding and towels are dingy and stained, bathroom was probably the cleanest, but water temp changed based on how many other people are using it at the same time. Would not stay here again.

I would need to begin by apologizing for my review. A stay of two nights was horrendous. The heater was not working properly. I ignore it the first night because I arrived almost at 2am. I realized when I returned hours later that the room did not have any heat. They do not have a cleaning service. They provided me another room and the pillows had hair from the previous clients. The carpet dingy, The lamps or the outlets didn’t work properly. I have stood in other spots but this one was like pictures provided in Expedia or on their page. Also, they had a client arguing, slamming doors, and throwing things at 1:30 am the first night I stood there. I felt as if I was staying in a small hotel/shelter. I had work in small hotels and the one I worked for was totally different with cleaning and much more. However, the female reception was very pleasant and willing to help. I reported the situation and i did not get any refund

Just OK. Rooms are very small and because it’s an old building outlets are scarce which was a challenge with two teens. Towels are teeny tiny. It works as a place to sleep if you are spending most of your time somewhere else but definitely itself no frills. Also they mean Double beds. Not Queen so expect to be cozy if there are two of you. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was pretty good eggs bacon or sausage has downs French toast and pancakes in the buffet for hot food.

Extremely dirty and stained EVERYWHERE-even the walls were stained. Towels were yellow (not intentionally) and every time we open and shut the door it felt like the windows were gonna break. It also had a broken door jam as though the door had been broken down before. Upon arrival the service at the counter was crap. I flew in from out of town and first impressions were subpar. The room I was in felt like I was on the freeway, every passing truck made the windows shake. If that weren't enough, there were sketchy people all over the place. Not to mention the wifi did not work!
The only saving grace and why I did not give this place a one star across the board was the breakfast was ok, the cleaning lady gave me a friendly smile when I was leaving and the lady at check out was pleasant.
I WILL NOT be staying here again, and I do not recommend anyone to stay here.

Bathtub had cracks in it and took forever for the hot water to come on. Check in staff was great. You are advertising a restaurant, but it is only for breakfast where the food was either cold or the staff didn't even show up until it was time to open and then the food was late for plans we had made. They were too busy talking to each other instead of getting the food out on time and hot! Rooms were old and not very well kept up. Your star rating is definitely out of proportion. I’m too tired and too upset. This place is a nightmare. Hot tub didn’t work., had hair and debris in it. Heater didn’t work at maintain the same temperature no matter what you set it at.

I got this hotel for my family thinking that the pictures were showing a cool retro vibe. However it was not retro it was just run down. Stains everywhere and the shower didn't work. The coffee creamer was chunky. The fridge was leaking and made loud noises. It wasnt close to anything. The car wash across the street was loud. No good vending machines or access to much of anything. Don't stay here. Owners need to clean and update!

Stained floor and walls. Holes in bathroom door. I would give it zero stars if I could. The check in lady made a big deal about how she was giving me a room near the office so I’d feel more safe. I've stayed here many times but last night Oct 27, I should have ask for my money back and found another hotel. Being it was Oct 27 and probably in 40s, a reasonable person would expect that the central heating system would on. Only available heat was a small coil heater in the water that was not adequate to provide a comfortable temperature in the room.

What isn't obvious from the online views is this is a motel, not a hotel. I had to leave check in, get back in my car and drive around the property to another building. Then when I had issues getting connected to the internet, I couldn't just walk over to the service desk; and there is no phone, so I couldn't call. The walls, carpeting, furniture were filthy and ancient. The only redeeming quality in this room was that the bathroom was probably renovated in the last 10 years or so.
