The staff are second to none. I wish I could have taken the time to record the name of every person I interacted with, but a few standouts: Roberto, my Reserve concierge; Carlos, the pool concierge; and another pool attendant, I believe his name was Enrique. Roberto brought me to my room, provided me with his personal cell number, maintained contact with me throughout my stay, and ensured my group and I had cabanas reserved at the pool. The staff made my stay five-star.
My Reserve swim-up was clean, and I liked the private pool. I do wish the deck area of the swim-up suites were a little more private. The rooms are quiet, and I was never disturbed by other guests. The turndown service was something else I enjoyed, after a long day, coming back to my room having been tidied. I LOVED the beach cabanas - nothing like swimming in the Sea of Cortez. The concierge staff at the beach was also amazing.
Some things that could have been better: I didn't care for most of the food. I came prepared to try new things, but I found 98% of the food lacking flavor and it appeared dry and mostly unappealing. I'm sure it's difficult to prepare the amount of food required for the resort, and it was not a deal breaker. The beach should be combed better - there are small strips of plastic everywhere, I assume from weddings, etc. held on the beach and the wildlife suffers because humans don't pick up their trash.
Overall, my stay was wonderful and I would return to this resort.

I have stayed at several other Paradisus hotels and adore them. This one might have been the best, in large part due to the incredible staff. They were warm, helpful, and gracious. I would specifically mention several folks: Diego and Fernando at the front desk, waiters Juan Antonio and Emiliano, Kevin at the pool, Freddy the bellman, and Alan and Jesus in Activities.

The resort is beautiful and the food excellent and wonderfully diverse. Cielo and Sante were my favorites for unique and well-prepared meals. Very well maintained grounds. What a treat to have the Nespresso cafe on site as well for grab-and-go! The only area of improvement might be the in-room Nespresso maker, which didn't work very well. But otherwise, the week I spent there exceeded my expectations!

The staff was excellent. The beach and pool attendents and servers were superb. They would help reserve and set up the cabanas, bring beverages and food etc....super nice. Pool and beach were great. Everything was clean. It works best to notify housekeeping if you would like your room cleaned by a specific time. Food was pretty good. Only improvements would be morning yoga classes maybe and better circulation in the workout room. Also, we requested a hot pot 2x...it never came. We quit asking

This was our first time at this property. We had an oceanfront room in the Reserve section (Building #3). It was a rocky start due to the fact that they tried to put us in building #4 which is not oceanfront or Reserve. However, when we explained our frustration, they found a room in the right building. The resort is beautiful and the service was great. We loved the multiple options for dining and the food was good. The restaurant in the Reserve section was terrific! Best breakfast! We also loved that it had a small swimmable beach. I would definitely return.

TL;DR: Chill, low-energy resort with good food but notable issues. Only one main pool (second is paid “Reserve”). Nights are quiet—most guests are in by 10:30. Activities fill quickly, so arrive early or risk being turned away. Resort even ran out of tequila one day.

Biggest concern: money was stolen from our room by staff, and management was dismissive and failed to honor compensation.

Highlights: Beautiful, well-maintained lobby and beach area. Great daytime activities (tequila/wine tastings, water aerobics, bocce).
Food overall was strong—Santé was the standout, plus great guac, snacks, and pool burritos. Fire dance show was a highlight.

Lowlights: Wi-Fi is weak, TVs outdated. Room had multiple maintenance issues (loose shower fixture, temp fluctuations, cracked mirror) and got uncomfortably hot at night. Bed was lumpy. Constant water noise in room.

Room service was poor (cold, bland, low quality), though the club sandwich was decent. Several restaurants underwhelmed—especially Mexican and Italian—while Asian and buffet were average.

Pool bar understaffed but manageable. Sky Bar was essentially non-operational when we visited.

Other concerns: Limited sustainability efforts and questionable animal welfare on the beach.

Major issue: Money was stolen from our room by staff. Management was dismissive, offered a credit, then refused to honor it—leaving a very negative final impression.

We got the reserve upgrade and had our own concierge. They were extremely accommodating. My partner wanted watermelon margaritas, and they went out out of the way to make them for her. The reserve pool was nice and quiet, while the larger pool had a lot of activities and a swim up bar. Left the phones in the room and had a great time relaxing, and being present for each other.

I recently stayed at Paradisus Los Cabos and unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations for a resort of this level.

We had no hot water for approximately 36 hours, with no prior communication. I only discovered this while in the shower, which was particularly frustrating as it happened on the day I had a spa booking and negatively affected the experience.

Housekeeping was kind and attentive with general tidying, and the staff overall were friendly. However, there was a lack of consistency with changing bed linens—it took over 24 hours and multiple requests (including concierge follow-ups) for the sheets to be changed.

There was also a lack of transparency around upgrades. Although availability appeared to exist, no upgrade was offered. Instead, I was told that the Expedia discounts and added services I received were due to upgrade unavailability, which is misleading as those are standard Expedia Platinum benefits.

Despite raising these concerns and having photo evidence, no compensation or meaningful resolution was offered.

While the staff were kind and the resort has positive aspects, the lack of communication, inconsistency in service, and limited accountability made the overall experience disappointing.

120% recommend Paradisus, the property is amazing, the staffing is on another level. The ocean view and the breeze amazing. The food options and the choices of the restaurants. Concierge Fernando was the best. He insured we had the most optimal stay not to mention he assured us we had a cabana every day and checked up on us. Our steak house waiter was the best wish I can name drop him but I were glasses lol and dinner party next to us we’re singing happy birthday as well. he ensured. My wife had the best birthday ever we are lactose intolerant. He made sure my wife had a birthday celebration cake, that he said he would make himself not to worried he delivered 5 start service exceeding my expectations. The Tamahawk was so juicy and tender and the sides were delicious. You have to experience it for yourself. Very mellow and just the write amount of music to have fun with your partner.

The welcome staff and the restaurant staff and housekeeping were top notch. I was disappointed in the pool staff who brought drinks. There were may times we were trying to get food or drinks and often got walked past. The drinks were not very good. Our room had banging sounds in the air conditioning and for three days we got cold water. We brought the problems to the front desk and the response was thanks. We are aware. Overall it has good food and restaurants. Loved the Sante one the most. I liked it was a small resort so never a problem with the chairs or to get food. Would like to have more options for evening activities.

Rooms were clean and serviced twice a day.
Either garden view or ocean view room a good choice as you're usually out and about.
Upgrade for the Reserve side well worth it, with access to a private lounge, pool, and restaurant, along with check in and concierge. (Shout out to Roberto, our bartender in the reserve lounge!)
Quite resort, shuts down by 10P.M. only drawback, Reserve lounge open until 11.
Several restaurants to choose from, all were good.

We had an excellent stay in our Reserve swim-up rooms! Special shoutout to Pedro, who came around to our swim-ups to take food and drink orders. It was such a nice touch and he really make our trip special. We also really loved the option to reserve cabanas for free. All of our meals were great, with the exception of the Italian restaurant (pizza wasn’t great and they’d benefit from a wood-fired oven). We loved El Cielo, Sal Steak Cave, and breakfast at Sante, the Reserve restaurant. Poolside food menu at the main pool was not very good, would recommend upping the quality there. Overall though, great experience! We’ll be back and would definitely book Reserve again.

We have no words to describe how wonderful our stay at Paradisus Los Cabos was.
First, the food is another level! Not your typical all inclusive food.

The property itself was nice and we enjoyed the ability to swim at its beach. Unfortunately the service was poor - it was challenging to get room service or have someone come pick up our dishes when they said they would. At check-in, they did not provide us with the bottle of wine that was included with our hotels.com booking. We called and asked for it, the front desk said they’d said it up, but they never did. The views at the property were great (lots of whale sightings) and great sunsets, but as with most all inclusives the food was just not great.

Hotel was okay, we were celebrating 10 yr anniversary and never got anything special, only 1 dessert that we waited for over 20 minutes to get and said \"happy anniversary\". The first night we went to dinner to the Mediterranean restaurant the waiter was careless and felt like he was there forced and even the manager greeted us and asked how many years of marriage and didn't even bother to do something special haha. Other restaurants in Cabo tried harder with this. We never received the free bottle as stated on the check in. Another issue was the dinner, waiters always took a very long time. The store inside the resort was expensive, 100 pesos for an electrolyte I feel it was too much, not even at the airport. The resort is not eco friendly, they use plastic water bottles. Overall, stay was okay but what we paid I think other options are better.

We selected this resort because it was out of the main downtown area and thought it would be a more relaxing resort to stay at. While there though there were 3-5 wedding parties that took over many parts of the resort. The beach was beautiful here and when the pool was calm it was very nice.
The room we had smelled extremely musty/mildew and at one point we had water dripping from the ceiling of the bathroom. We were told by the staff that we could change rooms but only to a less than room from what we had.
The restaurants on site are mediocre, but note that steak restaurant is not part of the all inclusive package and costs extra, so does some of the nice food in the other restaurants.

Enjoyed very much the Spa service. Beautiful beach. Excellent service provided by all personnel.
We stayed on the \"Reserve\" section of the facility with swim out pool, nice feature.
The Reserve entitles its gests access to bars with \"higher\" quality of drinks. What disappointment that was; cocktails were below par for a \"premium\" all-inclusive facility. Food was even worse than drinks. Very small selection of dishes, below average quality, and unimpressive flavors. Desserts were subpar, just mediocre. In summary, concerning food and beverages, just an average all-inclusive (at best) at a premium all-inclusive price. We have been in premium all inclusive facilities in the past and know what is offered there.
Furniture in room and all around the facility shows its age; dents, scratches and stains found all over. Our bathroom mirror had numerous brown stains all around.
The AC unit was very noisy and the second day stopped cooling the room, just blowing room temperature air.

Where do I begin? The staff, grounds, food, cocktails, beach, amenities were amazing! Rare to find a beach to walk for miles and a clear blue cove to swim in. For an all inclusive the choice of meals and cocktails were amazing-all the bottled water, stock in the room refrig and room service included. We had wonderful view from the junior suit garden room. Whaling watching was phenomenal while doing yoga. Plenty of activities and entertainment if you choose. All toiletries included were outstanding- leave yours at home. We will be back next year!

The resort was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The frozen drinks at the bars were not very good. The food was above average but there was room for improvement. We had a reservation at the Italian restaurant and could not eat the food. The steakhouse was good but very expensive if you had to pay. The Sente was the best restaurant. The breakfast and dinner was delicious. We also enjoyed the Japanese restaurant.
There is no need to book a whale watching experience. We were able to see whales right from the hotel. It was absolutely amazing!!!

I would like to start with positive points. The location was excellent. Beautiful beach you can walk 2 miles on both sides of the resort . Facility was very clean and customer service and employees are wonderful.Also nice plus is no problem getting a chair around the pool . Room felt like 80s style., just ok and the restaurants food was OK too . Our favorite restaurants out of 7 was Mediterranean..Also, me and my husband got some food poisons so the kind of ruin a little bit our stay there. It could be just being in Mexico and nothing to do with the resort . The bottom line is when I search hotel options, I based my decision on customer reviews but I’m not sure if I have a different standard, but this is definitely not a five star resort. Overall was good definitely not excellent!!

Paradisus was a solid 4 star resort with 5 star service and staff. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and wanted to make sure everyone was having a great vacation. We upgraded to the Reserve which was worth it for the included airport transfer, top notch steak restaurant included, ocean view room and extra restaurant for breakfast/lunch. The separate pool and quieter section was a nice option too. The Japanese restaurant and Mediterranean restaurant were both excellent with amazing waiters and hostesses. The rooms were plain and a little dated but full of snacks, waters, beer and soda all day long. No dumb towel cards needed or restrictions on drinks. Few things that could be improved - buffet breakfast was not great, no elevators so be ready to climb 2-3 flights of stairs multiple times a day, and no hot tub. Pool area could use some paint/renovation and the rooms could use better sheets/blankets. We would go back for the ease of being next to a gorgeous beach with daily whale sightings, good food and drinks and the amazing staff.

The hotel was spa like and serene. The grounds are immaculate and very well maintained. The hotel staff were kind and very helpful. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. The food at the restaurants was very good. The Reserve restaurant stood as exceptional. Pool staff were available to serve drinks and food throughout the day. The personal concierge provided daily updates on activities, weather and remained available to assist with any needs during the stay. I would absolutely stay at the Paradisus when I return to Cabo. The location is on a quiet beach between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. The hotel offered a half day trip to San Jose that is included with the stay at the resort which was a wonderful opportunity to explore that area. I had a wonderful week!

The stay was phenomenal everyone is there to take CARE OF YOU. Always had a drink in my hand snacks ice cream something. All staff was extremely polite they speak both English and Spanish fluent. This was one of the best stays ever in Cabo will be going back for sure

We were so happy with our stay at Paradisus. The architecture is amazing! The resort was beautiful, immaculate and so relaxing. We loved the desert landscape and the zen feeling there.

The Asian restaurant was delicious and we really enjoyed the Italian restaurant as well.

We loved the fact that you can swim in the ocean. The water was so clear and we were able to snorkel and see some great fish. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent experience at Paradisus All inclusive resort in Los Cabos. The staff was excellent, especially Freddy and Susana. The resort is beautiful and very clean. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room we stayed in was close to the highway and our last couple of days at the resort they were doing some maintenance on the roof which was noisy. The food was okay. I didn’t care too much for the drinks, gave me a headache. The excellent staff and their hospitality made trip worth it. The weather was great and we enjoyed our excursions, party boat, city tour, suba diving, cooking class with Francisco, UTV and sky bike.

I stayed at Paradisus Los Cabos to celebrate a milestone birthday, which was clearly noted on my pre-arrival intake form. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived.

I paid for a Junior Suite Ocean View but was initially assigned a Garden View room. While I expressed interest in learning about the Reserve category, I never confirmed or authorized that booking. Upon arrival, we were taken to the Reserve section and assigned a room with double beds, which was unacceptable for this trip. When I requested the room I originally booked, I was told it was unavailable.

After extensive back-and-forth, I was offered a partial ocean-view room with a king bed, but only after being charged nearly an additional $300 USD and waiting for the room to be cleaned. I felt pressured into accepting this due to the lack of alternatives.

Once in the room, several issues were immediately apparent: a lamp not plugged in, a disheveled balcony rug, and a shower with fluctuating water temperatures. Although the thermostat read 68 degrees, the room felt warm, damp, and stuffy. Despite paying for an ocean-view category, the ocean was fully blocked by trees and did not match the photos shown online.

Cleanliness was a serious concern, including hair on the nightstand and a red pill under the couch, indicating the room was not properly cleaned. For a resort that markets itself as luxury, this experience fell far below expectations and I would not recommend this property

Food was excellent
Entertainment was ok where scheduled events sometimes did not take place
Requested a light that went out in bathroom to be fixed and it never happened leaving the bathroom dimly lit
But overall would highly reccomend

Being 85 years old, I do not require a lot of attention or need to be entertained. There was more to do than I had time for. The food was exceptional. The service was above expectation. both the service people and other tourists were all extremely friendly. Never met a grumpy person. Thank you so much.

The rooms are amazing! Spend the money and get Reserve status for discounted tours and excursions. The food was great with many options. Plus, you don’t hear screaming kids. Anywhere. Paradisus exceeded expectations. Gracias Por todo!!

Had issues with a leak in the bathroom. Called housekeeping and informed them. It took several tries for the issue to be resolved. Had an issue with the safe. Was re-directed to the wrong dept.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The room and entire property was clean, well furnished and up-to-date. We had great pool-side service from Max! The pool is not heated, which was much needed, as the water was too cold to enjoy. The food was a bit hit-or-miss... in some cases delicious food, but poor service. In other cases, excellent service, but food was just okay. We had a great time enjoying some of the activities - NYE party, casino night, etc. A little more nightlife would be good - things seemed to get quiet pretty early. We slept well, ate and drank well, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and had no major issues, so overall a very nice stay.

Just got back from our 3 night stay, sadly we were disappointed. We are VIP Expedia members & on the site when you book it says you get $200 resort credit & $120 spa. Come to find out it’s really just a coupon book they can offer you, & we had to ask twice about it. We were supposed to get a bottle of wine in our room, had to ask multiple times & finally got it on the last day. Many times when ordering at the restaurants they were out of items, and when you did order the food was slow to come. It seemed they were understaffed, our pool order was completely forgotten once. We come to Cabo yearly and wanted to try a new resort, this was not a good choice.
