From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the staff was consistently courteous, kind, and cheerful. It was truly a pleasure to stay here.
As an early riser, I was impressed to see the grounds were immaculate each morning by 5:00 a.m. The beach was convenient, clean, and well maintained. Both pools were spotless, comfortable to walk in, and the water temperature was perfect.
If there is one thing that is guaranteed, it’s that the breakfast buffet will keep you well-fed for the entire day.
This reads well for a hotel review without sounding overly polished or artificial.

Wow what a resort! This place does it right!! It's first class.
The hotel is phenomenal. The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and the beach is incredible.
The staff are lovely.
So many amazing touches.
Free beach towels and sun beds
Free minibar and snacks, replenished daily. Staff come in and turn down your bed every night leaving a little sweet treat on your pillow. Theres a free bus into town each day.
The pools were also amazing. One was closed during our visit for maintenance but the one that was open was great.

You've got the red dunes on your door step and a short drive away are the white dunes and the fishing village is just a short drive away. Lots of lovely places to eat right outside the resort within walking distance. The breakfast at the hotel is fabulous!
I honestly can't fault this place it's incredible. I wish I could stay forever.

Fabulous room with view on pool area. Great shower and bath. Private balcony with comfortable chairs. Comfortable bed and free mini bar. Room made up quickly and always clean. Hotel restaurant and amenities are perfect. Lovely buffet breakfast and a la carte restaurant. Beautiful gardens, large swimming pool areas with plenty sun loungers. The Pandamus resort is a great place to unwind. We spent our last 3 days in Vietnam there and really enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of both local and international options.
The only downside was the sea water. Both in terms of pollution (mostly plastic bags) and the at times the fishy smell coming from the fish market further up the beach.
Location of the resort is good, you can clearly see that Mui Ne is an up and coming resort just outside of Ho Chi Min and still requires a lot of investment. But then again it does have its charm and the food options are plentiful and cheap.

Absolutely stunning location and property! Pandanus reminds me of the resorts in Cancun and other parts of Mexico! We are staying in the bungalow and its gorgeous, steps away from the beach! The bungalow is in itself well designed and the decor is amazing. Love the bathtub outside the bathroom, not forgetting to mention the very romantically laid out bed!!

Pandanus was a highlight of our 7 weeks in Vietnam; the room was amazing, the staff are incredible, and the restaurant was excellent! The entire property is a picture perfect seaside resort that was both modern and comfortable, as well as classicly chic. It reminded us of a Polynesian mid-century resort but was perfectly of our time with all the modern creature comforts. We're already planning a return trip to this wonderful property and the incredible staff.

My mom and I LOVED this place and plan to come back when we visit Vietnam again. We went to 5 different cities in South Vietnam and this was our second city. Found the resort a bit of a drive from Saigon but well worth the it.
The resort itself was very well maintained. Staff was for the most part friendly. In my opinion their food was a bit expensive but worth it to eat at the property.

This is a great resort at a reasonable price. The service is excellent. The landscaping is gorgeous, the staff is always meticulously maintaining the charm of the gardens. For such a windy area, I hardly saw any leaves littering the grounds. The hotel upgraded us when room rates suddenly dropped due to lack of travel demand at this time. We had a non-refundable rate so it was a very nice gesture for them to do so. I saw some negative reviews about the food prices of the resort restaurants but honestly it’s very reasonable for a resort of this caliber and the food is generally good. The free breakfast buffet is excellent and we will surely miss this every morning. I’ve been to beach resorts like this all over the Caribbean, Central America, etc. and there the food is much more expensive than Pandanus. If there is any improvement to recommend to the hotel - it would be to revise the drop off location of the shuttle service to have more stops along Ham Tien strip, we found ourselves walking very far to reach more local restaurants, then running back to catch the only shuttle bus going back. Another general comment is specifically about the seafood preparation in this town, there’s a ton of fresh seafood being caught every morning, but the restaurants here do not maximize it by grilling it with flavor. Went to several restaurants, including the resort’s: there’s just not enough salt, not enough flame, grill seafood should have char marks. Please learn from Portugal.

A beautiful resort with great facilities. The location is quite far from the main Mui Ne strip, but the stunning beach makes up for this. Make sure you visit the white sand dunes and also the free walking trip arranged by the property while there. It is worth getting up early for. We would definitely stay again.

Ceramic shampoo jar inside shower, should be plastic due to safety. Wife accidentally push n broken jar to floor. Report to hotel w explanation. Still have to Paid 87000 dong vn. Jar worth no more 15000 vn dong. Consider no a/c n hot water should not charge the 87000 vn dong to please customer. Will not recommend others to come here due to the bed n in room not a 4 stars quality.

I had no idea how incredible this place would be when I booked it for our honeymoon. It was magical. If you can upgrade to the beachfront bungalows definitely do it. They open right up to the beach and are so beautiful. The pool, food, amenities are great, and the staff are incredibly friendly. You definitely have to take a car (or their free shuttle) to town , so it isn't exactly walkable, but that wasn't what we were looking for. It is definitlely a getaway oasis. Highly recommend.

Lovely location but impersonal service

We were looking for a few days peace and quiet and rest after a full on three weeks travelling round Vietnam. Whilst the hotel delivered on its beautiful location on the coast, it was disappointing that it lacked peace , quiet and the level of customer service that we had found elsewhere during our holiday.

Many of the staff were friendly and helpful but compared to the welcomes we experienced everywhere else, some of the reception staff were off hand and disinterested - answering the phone repeatedly whilst talking to us. One of the first encounters when checking in was the demand for a deposit against damage. This plus a detailed list in the information pack of the cost of every item in the room should they need to make a charge - this showed a complete lack of trust.

Quiet, this resort ain't. It appears to cater for many group tours. There are plenty of activities available if you want to take advantage of them but it left me feeling a bit like I was on holiday at Butlins. There seemed to be an assumption that if live music is provided or an event is being held, everyone wants to hear. On two occasions the music was so loud that it was impossible to sit and enjoy the balcony. Had we wanted a drink in the bar, we would have not been able to have a conversation as the music was so loud - hence the lack of people in there that evening.

Wifi wasn't secure and the signal strength very variable - a problem when trying to keep things ticking over at home.

Everything about this resort is amazing! The staff are so friendly and attentive, it's spotlessly clean. The gardens and grounds are just beautiful. There are always plenty of sun beds around the pool and beach areas and the staff are happy to move beds if you need more shade or sun. It's a lovely peaceful resort but if you want more hustle and bustle the hotel provide a free shuttle bus into the main resort at night. We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a luxurious break during their travels in Vietnam 🇻🇳

We would highly recommend this hotel. We are a family of 5 & stayed in a very comfortable room that catered for all of us with 2 bathrooms. The staff were super friendly & accommodating. The staff all spoke very good English. The breakfast was substantial & catered for all dietary requirements. The pool was fantastic & 5 star. The hotel offered lots of tours & organizing was very easily done at reception. The location was a short taxi ride into the main town & nice & quiet. An easy walk to the red sand dunes & the beach at your door step. We wouldn't hesitate returning to this fabulous resort. Very clean, friendly & quiet.

This is a very well-maintained resort set in extremely spacious grounds. Attention to detail was evident in just about everything - always a sign of good management. Although I had requested a villa close to the beach, I was initially allocated the villa furthest away, but after I said I was not happy about this the reception team found me one much closer to the sea. The villa itself was spacious with a very comfortable bed, and excellent wifi. The semi-outdoor shower was a very nice touch. the breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice, and the dinner I ate here was also good. Pandanus is a bit more expensive than similar places in the area, but providing a great environment and service does cost, and for me this resort offered excellent value for money

Fantastic resort by the Red Sand Dunes

Pandanus was a wonderful experience. Our room was clean. We enjoyed the pool and private beach. From the resort we were able to walk to the fishing market along the beach as well as to the Red Sand Dunes to catch the sunrise/sunset.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the breakfast they serve. The food was actually delicious. They also have a really nice fruit bar that they price at (from what I remember) 50,000vnd/kg (fruit is free at breakfast). It was such a good deal!! My partner and I would pick fruit and they would cut it up for us and we would take it to the shore.

Another thing we liked was how friendly the staff were and how willing they were able to assist. We contacted Pandanus prior to arrival asking for a vehicle to drive us from Mui Ne to Nha Trang. They were very reasonable in price considering their driver stopped at any stops we wanted to and pretty much was our tour guide. He also drove very safe and did not honk constantly (taxi drivers tend to honk and drive super fast in Vietnam).

All in all, I would definitely book with pandanus again and would recommend it to other people. We are already talking about returning to Mui Ne with our relatives in a few years ❤️.

Hotel very pleasing to the eye with fish ponds and very open and comfortable. The staff was very helpful with any questions and willingness to help out. After such a pretty entrance to the hotel the rooms were a bit disappointing, very plain and very little storage space for clothes. Nice balcony luckily we got one facing outward but still felt on top of one another. Breakfast was great with amazing choices, dinner was expensive, slow service and average.

Pool area fantastic, rooms very well furnished, in great condition and kept very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Complimentary wine and cheese each evening with the General Manager a nice touch. Nightly entertainment from the band was fun and could not be heard once away from the bar area so no problem sleeping. Grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Complimentary bicycle hire was appreciated. Free shuttle to and from town available and enjoyed free walking tour of Mui Ne Fishing Village and trip to Fairy Stream.

Couple of negatives:- tiled walkways throughout the resort quite slippery after rain,
the ambience of the spa could be improved by separate cubicles for each client.
Would be nice if menu and drink prices were shown including all taxes
Overall great facilities and a wonderful place to stay and totally relax.

How did this hotel get such good reviews?

I just got back from spending a month in Asia and during that time I spent time in 8 different hotels including 2 nights here. I only thought two of those hotels were terrible/disgusting and this was one of them. The room smelled like mildew, the staff was rude and no one really had a grasp of the english language. tje breakfast was gross and the guy making eggs broke into a sneezing fit without covering his nose/mouth. The actual grounds are nice. I am an american and most of the people staying there are Russian. Maybe this hotel is very nice by Russian standards but definitely not by American standards. PS....the beach is really really dirty. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Average room, nice resort compound, great location

A great choice for travellers looking to relax and chill. Spacious section of the beach kept private for resort guests only, enjoyed the tranquility and privacy there. Room had a strong smoke smell though we requested for a non smoking room. Breakfast spread was good, but there's much room for improvement for service staff. The breakfast venue was very packed at around 9am, my friend and I finally found ourselves a table for 2 after walking around for a while (no staff to assign tables). After getting our food and settling down, a waitress came by and told us the table is reserved and asked us to get ourselves another table. In the first place, there wasn't even an indication that this table is reserved. Her tone wasn't polite/apologetic at all and there was no initiative to help us find another table. Other that this minor incident, overall stay at the resort was pleasant. Front desk staff (bellboys especially) were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The Red Sand Dunes is just a 2min walk away and there's a row of seafood restaurants conveniently located outside the resort (prices were reasonable, not marked up).

What a gem!

We took the sleeper bus from Saigon and arrived at about 12.30am at Pandanus Resort. Check in was quick and straight forward thankfully and the rooms were beautifully decorated, with a lovely bathroom and amazing shower. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of variety. They have a great band that play 6 nights a week. Every evening they offer a complimentary wine/beer.
The hotel's beach is regularly cleaned and therefore was lovely swimming in the ocean. The pool was great but would have been better to be a little cooler given how hot it was and how warm the ocean was!

Few tips:
1. Laundry opposite the hotel is much cheaper, with a good service for 30,000 dong/kilo.
2. There are several restaurants opposite the hotel which are all very nice and much cheaper than the hotel
3. Rent a motorbike from opposite the hotel for 150,000dong/24hrs. They don't need your passports. We explored the red and white sand dunes, fishing village and fairy stream by motorbike very easily. The roads are very quiet so it was a good place for us to get to grips with riding the bike as we hadn't done it before!

Overall we had a very relaxing and enjoyable time at Pandanus and would definitely stay there again!!

Very nice resort. Large area, big pool, gardens... Very suitable for families and and couples looking to relax. Breakfast very good. Gym could use some real work out equipment instead of several treadmills.

Service attitude very good but in overall there is room for improvement. For example taxis were never instructed precisely to location by staff and therefore 50% of the time ended up in totally wrong place. Also other hassle in arranging things.

In junior suite the AC was noisy and had to be shut down for night. Other room's AC unit noise from outside also bothersome.

Mui Ne village and the beach are not nice. Very dirty and noisy. Nice for a resort holiday but don't go there otherwise.

Overall very pleasant stay for this price range.

Most of the staff was very friendly, eager to run and help. Very limited English, so very unlikely to get an answer to any request. Landscaping and pool area are beautiful. Rooms are dark wood with uncomfortable mattresses, uncomfortable seating, and horrible patio chairs. We stayed in a Bungalow, which could have been so much better . Housekeeping ignores Do-Not Disturb sign in their rush to get your room cleaned. Could never get more than two towels at a time, even after repeated requests. (Limited English may have been the issue again). Food was not very good at all. Breakfast buffet seemed to be a repeat of the nightly BBQ. Pay close attention to what you are being billed. Going back and forth between V-Dong and USD is an issue. Bring your own coffee!!

nice place and nice people!

We regret booking for 1 night only, We should have stayed 1 night more. If we only had not booked our hotel to our next destination, we should stay. We like very much the hospitality of the Filipino live band because they reAlly knew how to let their hotel guests feel comfortable and they sing well too. We like also the bartender, Mr Quoc who always wear a smile no matter how busy and stressful his job is. We will surely recommend this hotel to our friends and we will be back again. The place is just a walk to red sand dunes and the biggest hotel in Muine too! Breakfast is great too!

Good place to stay.

I would say the only real downfall was the slow internet and the smell of fish everywhere. The resort is very close to a fishing port. So the smell of fish was in the air for the first couple of days until the boats all pulled out to go back out to fish.

Perfect location for a lovely relaxing holiday.

Excellent facilities and additional touches such as free cheese and wine every evening, access to bikes to borrow free of charge. Well maintained grounds, clean beach and lovely pool.

Amazing Resort - Best i have stayed

This hotel is absolutely stunning - the grounds are very well kept and everything is just beautiful. The pool area is spotless and the pool is an amazing size. I normally travel but i could easily have stayed here for 5 days as the grounds are so big that there is always something to see or do. PLEASE PLEASE stay here

Vacation in Mui Ne\n

We stayed at Pandanus resort for 2 days vacation in Mui Ne, and it was the best place to stay compared with other resorts I experienced in USA. The most I like is the good foods and services by waiter/waitress. Beside the foods n services, the resort has a beautiful landscape with a large swimming pool. I will grade this resort 5 big stars, I would recommend everyone who loves the ocean and romantic place, Pandanus Resort is the one.

Wonderful resort gateaway

We stayed in a family room. It has 2 single beds in one room and a big bed in another room. 2 toilets, 2 tv and a big balcony. 2 thumbs up. Great value for money. Resort also provides free tour to Fisherman Village and free transports to Muine Market, Fairy Spring and Ham Thien.
Resort is well maintained. Pool is big. Beach is clean. Wonderful stay.

Excellent location, ok location

It was a beautiful resort with excellent amenities. The rooms were a really good size and very comfortable.

The best part of this hotel was the pool and beach area.

Although the stay was very nice it was a long way from the town and unfortunately the staff at reception weren't very helpful. (the restaurant/bar staff were very friendly and helpful)

It was mainly a language barrier (we were the only English speaking people there) but even when our bus didn't arrive on the last day they wouldn't help us, they just shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing we could do. For the money we paid for the hotel we expected better service. I have to also advise that they have a serious word with their shuttle bus driver he was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful.

Unfriendly staff, isolated location

There was no staff smiling at me while asking for something in my memory and everytime i called the reception from my room, they were always trying to send me to another department, not asking what I am really looking for. The resort is far away from the town so my faimly has to eat at a restaurant in the resort. The food were dissapointing.
This resort could be nice for a long stay as the resort itself is quite good to stay. However, if you are looking for a bit more than only having a rest in Muine, I recommend you to find somewhere else.

Great value resort

This resort is great if you want to relax and unwind after the hustle of the city. We had a two bedded in one of tyre main areas which had a balcony with sea views.
The pool was great and the hotel ran shuttle buses into the main strip at night. We had five nights here and enjoyed the whole time.

Relaxing getaway with paradise atmosphere.

Me and my wife spent first four days in January, 2014 here. After long trip from the airport we were welcomed by soft drink, huge Christmas tree and beautiful orchid pond with fish. If you travel with kids you can buy some fish food right there and feed fish. We got lucky room number and enjoyed romantic sea view with coloured kites over palm trees from our balcony at the sunset. For dinner we marked unforgettable seafood hot pot, shrimps on sugar canes, Dalat vine, vietnam cold coffee with milk and romantic atmosphere created by live music. It was really nice to wake up before 6.00, walk to the hotel beach and watch the sunrise, get refreshed in the morning sea water and get hungry before breakfast. Every day i liked to start my breakfast from a bowl of vietnam beef noodle soup that is served on a trolley and finish with passion and dragon fruit for desert. All we needed at day time we explored on the beach: straw umbrellas, surfing the sea waves on our bellies, falling asleep under massage in the open air, watching kite surfers in the sea, having snacks and lunch in a glass terraced bar close to the beach and the swimming pool. Massage is popular in the hotel, so try to book it in advance. We found Pandanus a really nice place for romantic vacation and we definitely would bring our kids here. It is also nice place for kite surfer beginners as there are kiting schools and rentals to the left and to the right of the hotel beach.

Hi, we just came back after one week experience in this resort. It is all SAME SAME in this part of Vietnam. It does not matter if you choose a cheap or expensive hotel. It is all a big tourist blow. Transportation to this hotel-region is really not easy (take a taxi 130$, not a sleeping bus 15$, it is worth it) .
BUT...Koh Sa Miu (Thailand) or Lankawi (Malaysia) is much better and more value for your money!!!

A peaceful paradise

Our family of four stayed here in a family suite - which consisted of two bedrooms and two bathrooms - for five nights and we loved every second. The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff were exceptional, particularly the beautiful Rosslini who could not do enough for us. The grounds were serene and very well maintained. If it is some peace and quiet you are after, then this certainly fits the bill.

Needs some work!

Ok, nice pool and breakfast was ok. Honestly though, it's too far away from anything else. If you want to eat or shop at other places your taking a long taxi ride. Not much for customer service either. When you relax by the pool it's nice to have anyone ask occasionally if you might like something! Nope not at Pandanus. You want something here, go order it yourself and we will bring it to you 20 minutes later! In short, if you need peace and quiet and really want to be left alone, this is your place.

Pandanus - An Oasis in Mui Ne

This is a well-thought out resort, right on the beach. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The staff is helpful, courteous and professional. The resort restaurant is reasonably priced with a varied menu. Breakfast buffet includes many options of both western and Asian dishes. The resort is somewhat removed from the main stretch of hotels in Mui Ne, so it's very quiet. Very tranquil.

I stay at Pandanus resort 2-3 times a year. It's a great resort with friendly staff, especially the ones who worked in night shift at the restaurant. They carried out there duties very well. Resort had its own beach, very clean. I won't hesitate to choose Pandanus in the future

Hi we enjoyed our stay at the resort in aspect of service that worked as a charm. The room we received needs an facelift inside and the cleaning of the floors wasn't really in pair with normal standard. You should be aware that the beach the resort has next to it and for that matter most of Mui ne is very windy and kite surfers paradise. We spent christmas here and was very satisfied except the forced dinner charge for christmas eve. The available options in aspect of food and drinks didn't reflect the price charged in a country like Vietnam.

Beautiful resort - far from town

We picked this resort as a \"splurge\" in the middle of our trip.

The facilities are excellent and beautifully maintained. The rooms are nice. We had some problems with our air con creating a giant puddle in the night and it took quite a bit of prompting to get staff to help us with this.

The food is lovely - and the restaurant staff provide excellent help in choosing a delicious meal either from the menu or creating your own.

When we booked, we were unaware that the resort was so far from Mui Ne itself.... There was a fairly hairy motorbike ride in which we were convinced we were being stolen- only to arrive at a beautiful place far from town. (an adventure)

The staff were generally helpful but kind of cold - with the exception of the restaurant girls and Rossilini who knows everything and will help you with anything at all. They were a joy!

Overall a lovely place - remote from the hustle of Vietnam.

Our stay was very nice. The hotel is older style but very comfortable. It could use a little face lift, but it is clean and everything you could need is available. It is a little off the main area of Mui Ne, so a 15-20 taxi ride will be needed to get to restaurants. While the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the food is just \"so, so\". The breakfast buffett is adequate but the lunch was not good. We did not try the dinner bbq. We received a complimentary 15 minute foot massage at check in. We did not have time to use it, unfortunately. I would guess the spa is excellent. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I would consider going back. The prices are reasonable and they hotel tries very hard!

This hotel is in a beautiful location, but the rooms are disappointing as is the food. The resort lacks any vibe or atmosphere. It is time for an upgrade of furnishings and guest ammenities.
