The resort hotel was good overall. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a nice variety of choices and was one of the highlights of our stay. The beach area was beautiful, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean views. While there is room for improvement in some areas, we had an enjoyable stay.

This is one of the nicest resorts I’ve stayed in. The customer service is incredible! The grounds are kept immaculate and beautiful, and the pools are the cleanest I’ve been in. The service manager Khoi is so friendly and helpful providing many tips for our trip. The food is amazing as well! Breakfast buffet has many options and they have a high tea included in the mid afternoon. Definitely recommend staying here.

Great resort stay

However amenity wise, things there could be a few improvements. Hot water is lacking, and on rainy days the room smells like the bathroom. A little more care on the odor could make this place much better

The resort was overall a great experience. Definitely the superior of the two resorts I stayed in this time around. The staff was very attentive and remembered preferences from one day to the next. The level of English spoken was quite a high proficiency in all costumer facing staff members. Everyone was very friendly as well. A stand out moment was two days before arriving receiving an email warning of a recently common scam bike taxis were running at the bus stop and to contact them to arrange a taxi which they promptly did. Very happy with that particular touch. It showed a level of consideration for guest experience that expanded beyond the grounds of the resort.

Staff members Hoa and Anh were great standouts who helped make my stay better. The resort was clean, the grounds were very attractive. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a lay by the pool/beach vacation.

Poor check in experience, we were asked to leave our passports at reception with no justification given. Mosquitos in room prevented good night sleep. Bad breakfast options and poor quality food in general. No sun loungers ever available by the pool. Service was poor in general.

NOTE after we complained we were moved to a superior room and given free drink vouchers. All staff knew who we were and made more of an effort to provide a good service. Unfortunately it should have been like this from the start.

What a beautiful hotel with a swim up pool right by the sea. The resort was so incredibly clean and the attention of the staff was second to none. We had a few issues when we first arrived as they clearly hadn’t read our additional requests that we had submitted via Expedia. We requested three single beds as we were three female adult family members travelling together but we were provided with two double beds. We were moved to another room but the third bed was a roll away / camp bed which I didn’t think was appropriate for a luxury stay at a resort. I made further representations and we were eventually provided with inter connecting rooms (one double and one twin) which more than made up for the inconvenience caused. The rooms were lovely and the staff were very attentive. The only negative points were that it was slightly more remote due to the location but then if you are hoping for something low key and a bit more out of the way then this is your place. The only thing that I felt let down the hotel was the food. The menu was very extensive, catering for different nationalities but I think it suffered as a result of this as some of the dishes were not very nice and, on occasion, cold. It was also on the expensive side as the resort was a bit of a captured market. There was building work going on when we were there, which I was concerned about but I hardly noticed it and it didn’t impact on my stay. All in all it was a lovely resort.

We stayed 2 nights at the bungalow and it was simple fantastic! It’s a great place to wind down and just relax and chill by the beach. Front desk service staffs and restaurant staffs were very friendly and always did their best to help or give you suggestions on meals and tours to go for etc. special mention to service staff Hoa (front desk lady) who was very patient and sincere and go way above her duty to share with us travel tips and also food to try. I hope the resort rewards such a great service staff which can really differentiate the resort from others in mui ne. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back again! Highly recommended!

We took 5 hrs travelling from Saigon airport to muine using private car transport. It will take even more by taking public bus. We stay in bungalow with garden view. Room is huge with big bathroom. Hotel staff are great people. They are so helpful and getting feedback from guest to ensure they are enjoying their best in the resort. Breakfast is good, delicious and sufficient. Nice beach, no strong current compared to beaches at ham tien areas. It deserves a 5 stars resort

Wonderful experience for the 2 nights stay there!

Service was good, and whenever any problems came up (water was out for awhile when we arrived back in our place) they were rectified almost immediately. The dinner in house was good - snapper and steak! - and due to a fault in the ordering system, our orders took almost an hour but the restaurant manager personally offered his apologies and provided us with complimentary desserts which was a wonderful gesture on the resort's part.

Pool was good, environment overall was comforting and there was no better place to getaway from our busy city lives.

Thank you for the relaxing stay, and we are sure to return if we go back to Mui Ne.

Very refreshing stay here in Mui Ne as we were passing through and gave us a chance to relax on our travels. The resort grounds are very well kept and maintained, the pool is spacious with a bar and just next to the pool is the beach. Pool does get busy during certain periods as expected but seemed to die down on an evening.

The rooms are really nice, large beds, great amenities and a desk to do work on. The shower was reasonable in terms of power/temperature.

Very nice place to relax. Helpful personnel. The hotel is not too big, not too small. Great swimming pool with the bar. Rather long 4-hour transfer from Ho Chi Min airport. There is tennis, but no other sports activities. The ocean in front is great but there's sometimes some scrap floating.
For the excursions, it's better to order them in the village nearby. There is free shuttle bus transfer from the hotel to the villages around. Food in the restorant is great, but it will cost you 3-5 times less if you eat in MuiNe, although it may be not so goodlooking. Great seafood.

Our stay at Muine was to be our last stop in a 14 day holiday in Vietnam and I would have to say it was the most disappointing. On arrival the staff were not as friendly and accommodating as we had experienced everywhere else in Vietnam. The location of the resort was also disappointing in that we needed transport to get to the main strip and beach of Muine. When we got there the poll was green with algea and we complained to the management who did not appear to know what to do about it. They did eventually clean the pool and on the third day of our stay it was clean enough to swim in. (we only had 3 nights there). There is a beach restaurant but is was not opened at any time we were there.
On a plus side they do have a nightly outdoor grill and the seafood is fresh although there are better options in the main strip of Muine.
In summary I don't think I would return to The Muine Bay resort but I might consider staying in one of the hotels in the main strip along the beach.

Good hotel for families

We stayed at Muine Bay Resort for two weeks with our three kids- ages 4, 2, and 5 months. We had a wonderful experience there. The drive from Ho Chi Minh City took about 6 hours on the way to the hotel, with stops at the grocery store and lunch, and five hours back to the airport. I recommend the shuttle service through the hotel. We stayed in a family duplex, which was nice because it had two bedrooms. The room was clean and upkeep was good. Housekeeping was flexible with what time they cleaned to avoid disturbing nap time. The breakfast was included and it had a decent selection. We also ate lunches at the pool bar, which has a kid-friendly menu. The kids had fun on the beach. The waves are big in December, so they didn't really swim, but splashed a lot in the small waves on shore. The beach was mostly clean in front of the hotel. Workers picked up garbage regularly. There is a kids pool, which was a perfect height for practicing swimming. Staff was wonderful with the kids. They would hold the baby while we ate meals, which was one of the best parts of the trip! Every request we had was solved quickly and efficiently by the staff. Most guests go into town for dinner where there are tons of restaurants with amazing food at cheap prices. The taxi ride is 10-15 minutes and costs about $5. The front desk can call for a taxi. I definitely recommend this hotel, particularly for families!

Great overall, except the staffs are unfriendly. No smiling and no greeting, felt weird to be around them.
What the use when the safe deposit is not secured to the wall? It can be easily remove and stuff it in the suitcase. I hope the hotel read my remove and make some improvements

Strange lack of service from Staff, waiters etc. You had to fill out a form for your meal order, no explanation of the specials or menu. If you just want to sit by the pool or beach without anyone bothering you, lovely spot to do it. Mind you this is in December and the resort was not very busy

The hotel cleanliness was ok. However, I found some unknown hairs and some dust under my pillow. Room service was good, but I found it sometimes difficult to communicate to the stuff because not all of them understand english. Totally disappointed with their private beach. It was near to the fishing village, hence you can saw a lot of fishing boat from the beach. Definitely not suitable for swimming. Nice garden view. Nothing special about the high tea. Around 15-20 minutes distance from the boke street. You can hardly found good food around this area. And yet it will cost you a lot of taxi fees to get to boke. Good for those traveller that want to find some peace, definitely not for tourist like us that want to enjoy great beach and good seafood.

Definitely a place to chill!

Overall the resort is very good. I enjoyed the pool very much. The family room we stayed in is very comfortable. Everything is really clean and tidy. We were also offered a welcome drink on arrival.
The food is not great though (apart from the breakfast buffet) and it's kind of expensive. We only had one choice, the main restaurant because the beach restaurant is closed. We asked the staff and they said it is because there are loads of flies during the season. The resort is located a few kilometres from Mui Ne town centre, so it is difficult to go there on foot to find food and especially under the scorching sun! You can hire a motorbike or bike though.
The staff there speak very poor English, which is surprising, because this is a place where tourists stay.
The shuttle bus service to Mui Ne and Phan Thiet centre only runs twice a day in the morning at 11:30 and around 14:00 (?) in the afternoon. Twice a day for returning to the resort.

The pool was absolutely stunning!! Best part of the hotel! Specially since the beach in that area was not the best we have seen in Vietnam. The room was also great, extremely spacious and comfortable. The website says they have several restaurants, but they all use the same menu. This became more of a problem when they repetedly \"ran out\" of certain items. The other problem we found was the lack of activities once the sun goes down. There is nothing to do at the resort and since you are really far away from town, we found it very uneventful.

It is a bit of a distance from main area but they offer a shuttle 2x a day.

The hotel is absolutely stunning, the rooms are amazing and the hotel pool beautiful, close to the beach to. Unfortunately however the hotel caters predominately for its Russian clientèle the tranquillity of the pool area is ruined by a constant noise of euro pop that goes on from early morning until late at night. The beach whilst on the doorstep is barely used with no sunbeds or parasols and there are no sea views. The hotel itself is stunning but is so far away from the town that you have to pay for an expensive cab every evening or hire a moped, we saw no evidence of a hotel shuttle bus at any time. The rooms are stunning but due to the location and the pool area we moved after just one night to a hotel in the centre of the town near the restaurants and bars.

We booked a bungalow with garden view and it was gorgeous and clean! The location of the hotel isn't great, but the hotel provides a bus to go into Han Tien twice a day, and you can always book a cab to eat delicious seafood at Bo Ke! My advice to you if you're booking this hotel is you might be tempted to get a massage, but don't. Privacy is not much of a concern there and you end up getting a massage close to the pool and exposed to the wandering tourists. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and the reception staff were delightful and very helpful! I would recommend this hotel if you want a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of ho chi minh city.

A quiet & beautiful place away from the Town Ctr

We stayed at Room 211 a family duplex with 1 King size bed and 1 queen size bed on the 2nd floor on 21 July 2014.
1. Bed, pillows, sheets & comforter was comfortable and clean. There is hot water but it took very long to fill the tub for a good soak 🙊
2. Sunrise from the room balcony facing the sea at 5am from our room was beautiful. I walked down to the beach when the sky started to have a some blue hue. The walk on the beach was peaceful, breezy, simply an awesome. Lying down on the beach & pool bench is 👍 having a early morning swim under the vast blue sky after getting the approval of the staff was a bonus for me. Walking to the nearby resorts from the beach is nice just after sunrise as you can see the locals exercise, fishermen row their tub from the boats to the beach to sell their seafood & just enjoy the cool breeze blowing through your hair 👍
3. The sand dunes were beautiful (both). I enjoyed just standing there just enjoying the sight. We did decide to contribute to their community by renting the plastic mats & ATV Bike to slide down & ride on the sand dunes. The ATV I enjoyed. Dong 400,000 for 30mins for a 2 pax bike. We also paid our hotel dong 1,200,000 to rent a driver & jeep to bring us for 4 sight seeing attractions. The fairy stream was a nice picture sight. It was ok & fun with friends.
4. Meals, because the hotel was further in, we ate most our meals at the Rstnt. There is also a pool bar when I enjoyed a drink during a night swim with music.

Great resort, beautiful beaches, but far from town

This place was amazing. The beaches were beautiful, you could buy seafood from the fishermen when they came to shore and have it cooked. The rooms were spacious and ours were on two floors. The only negative is it is far from town. It would have been a perfect 5 if it was closer to the downtown area.

Nice, spacious, and clean. Excellent staff. However, some foreign guests were extremely rude. Saw some guests trying to take large amount of food from the breakfast buffet to their room. When they were stopped by the hostest, they just rudely walked pass the tiny vietnamese girl to get into the elevator. What's a shame.Don't they understand that the buffet is not free food for all day? This would be an extremely nice place if there were better guests. I really feel sorry for the hotel staff that have to put up with those rude behavior.

quiet getaway

this is the perfect place for you to unwind and relax. The resort is set away from the busyness of the town nearby. The staff will help you with any of your needs and are willing to accomodate. They have good breakfast selection and a dinner menu that is quite varied (a little pricey though). They have 1 very large pool that is spotless and comfortable to lounge around and the beach is at your doorstep.

A piece of paradise, so peacefull !

Everything exemplar: super clean, very good food from breakfast to diner and drinks, very nice bed and bathroom in bungalow, clean and quite sand strip at the end of the 8 kms beach, staff very pleasant and smiling, management very professional like removing the bungalow $30 fees twice (against a standard room booked) because the wifi was not working on our second night! It is 4 kms from the big (and noisy) action strip in Muine, but they have 2 free shuttles per day to the down town. This is a perfect place to RELAX in peace and no problem what so ever, thank you to all the nice staff! My first ever rating of 5/5

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in

This hotel is one of the worst I have ever stayed in.
No one spoke any English, it was invaded by heavy drinking Russians and Vietnamese families who has no order what so ever over their kids. They shouted and ran around in the hotel from 6am, waking everyone up and came up to your table and stared at you and picked on your food, parents don't do anything about it.
The balconies don't have any furniture so you cannot sit outside even. The garden room is actually overlooking the rest of the block of the hotel and you be lucky to find a glimpse of water from the sea view rooms. (I stayed in both)
The SPA was appaling. Dirty with staff who did not have a clue what they were doing. I had a THAI massage and the woman fell of me 3 times whilst walking over me and her mobile phone kept ringing during treatment.
The beach is the most disgusting dirty thing I have ever seen in my life, I even tripped over a dead dog.
The male was eyeing you up and down and being genreally greasy.
I could go on forever but I would bore you.
All I can say I wouldn't put my worst enemy in this place.

Great for families with small children

This was a really really lovely place to say- the staff were friendly, the pool area is lovely, and the bungalow we stayed in was amazing. It is not near the rest of mui ne, and it costs around $10 each way for a cab- the staff helped us to get the bus, which was fine, but the last bus back is at 8.30! The beach is narrrow and the sea was too rough to swim but the pool more than made up for this.
On a negative, our booking was for a family of 4 but for some reason did not include beds for the children- the manager kindly gave us a mattress which was fine, but it seemed odd that we had been charged an extra guest fee for our 6 year old but were expected to share the bed with her. Also on check out they said a hand towel was missing from the room which was a bit upsetting- I work for an airline and am always in hotels, and have never felt the need to take a towel or been accused of taking one before! They seemed to realise I was a bit offended and quickly said it wasnt a problem.
We would reccomend this to families with small children or those who want a peaceful time.

Really disappointing: No hot water during 2 days + found a cockroach in the bathroom + problem with the air conditioner.

Mui Ne Bay Resort review

A bit disappointing with the booking especially when arriving after midnight from a long flight. We booked and paid for a room for 3 adults but the third bed wasn't ready when we arrived. The third bed wasn't a proper bed not even a roller bed. It was just a matress coverred with bed sheet put on the floor.
Just becareful with the taxi/car booking through the hotel. Staff gave us a quote for a comfortable/delux car transfer from MuiNe to Nha Trang for a high price and we agreed to book. When we checked out, there was a small old taxi with cracked seat waiting for us. We refused and asked for a better car. Staff managed to get us a better car. However, the hotel manager (I believe he is the manager because he came out from his office to see what was the dispute) is a very impolite person as I tried to explain the dispute. He ignored me completely and didn't even give the eye contact. He told his staff to book a better car for us and walked back to his office. Bad manner!

There was no hot water available to take a shower. Only \"hand warm\" water; only in the evening. And the Spa with Sauna closed at 5pm.

In the morning there was even no warm water coming,i let the water rins 1 hour. Unbelievable.

Hôtel Mui Né Bay Resort

Relativement éloigné de la ville de Phan Tiet, l’hôtel Mui Né Bay Resort est situé au sein d’un beau jardin arboré et dispose de 2 belles piscines. La restauration, peu goûteuse et peu représentative de la cuisine vietnamienne, est principalement orientée pour une clientèle d’Europe de l’est et chinoise.
Le personnel est attentionné et bienveillant. L’hôtel met à votre disposition 2 navettes par jour pour vous déposer gratuitement aux abords de la plage de Phan Tiet ou au centre ville. Vous pouvez réserver moyennant finance un minibus auprès de la réception pour vous conduire sur votre prochaine destination (Nha Trang, Dalat …). Pour rejoindre Nha Trang, nous avons réservé à un prix très raisonnable (3 100 000 VND) un véhicule de l’hôtel pour 2 personnes conduit par un de leurs personnels. Le chauffeur a conduit prudemment et le trajet s’est parfaitement déroulé.

Fin anläggning som har några år på nacken. Egen strand men tyvärr var det röd och svart flagg alla dagarna vi var där. Bland annat på grund av att det fanns livsfarliga Blåsmaneter närheten. Frukosten var omfattande och supergod. God prisvärd mat på restaurangerna. Dock med samma meny på alla restaurangerna i området. Det negativa under vår vistelse 2 av 3 kvällar var att större grupper hade samlats för arrangerade firanden i hotellets trädgård. Hög musik av låg kvalitet i kombo med konferencier som skrek i mikrofonen. Det fanns ingen plats på hotellet där man kunde komma ifrån oljudet. Vi hade sett fram emot lugna middagar i trädgården med havets brus som bakgrundsmusik. Det var bara att glömma

Das Resort ist wirklich sehr modern. Jeder der Mitarbeiter gibt sich sehr viel Mühe, den Gästen einen unglaublich angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Die zwei Poolanlagen sind hervorragend und sauber. Die Bungalows sind einfach klasse. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich super wohl. Definitiv ein Platz zum entspannen. Allgemein ist es auf der Anlage sehr ruhig, vereinzelt hört man die Musik von den Restaurants.

Der Blick auf den Strand und das Meer ist wirklich sehr schön. Am Strand kann man, wie leider fast überall am Strand von Mui Ne, vereinzelt angeschwemmten Müll finden. Das Hotelpersonal bemüht sich aber, diesen so schnell wie möglich zu entfernen, um den Strand stets sauber zu halten.
