This hotel is centrally located in the heart of Esbjerg, close to the beautiful west coast of Denmark. Visitors to Esbjerg will find it a fascinating fishing centre and seaport; but it is much more than that.

Good for the price

Good price and centrally located. A bit low on service as food is ordered from the outside, you pay for parking and fitness is at a Loop fitness center down the street.
The linoleum floor is beyond expiration date and needs to be changed.

Very nice business hotel. Decent breakfast.

Beds are comfortable (maybe too soft), shower is great, wifi is ok (about 5mb down wo ok for streaming and skype calls/video).

1 downside.. specifically for summer, the curtains in room only just cover the bottom of the window, which means light comes in a dawn (which is 4 am during summer).

Ideal for business trips not couples

Scandic is set up mainly for business and the hotel works hard to enure its efficient.
Done rooms are I. Need of an upgrade and basic things like shower heads are substandard. Some curtains are not long enough to cover the window which is a problem in the summer months.

Good hotel, prompt service at reception and clean. Arrived after 8pm and only disappointment was 3 choices of meal in restuarant - if you are vegetarian, you will struggle. OK for me though.

The room I had definitely needed a refurbishment, and given the price of the hotel, it was not good value for money. No mini bar, no safe, no tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean.

Værelset var rent, men slidt. Personalet var så høflige og behjælpelige med at få tingene til at gå op i en højere enhed. Morgenmaden er lækker, dog kom vi lidt over en time før det sluttede, og der var der nogle ting som var nærmest væk / skrabet. Men alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse.

Nicht das Modernste Hotel, aber ok Sauber und ruhig; Sogar für Scandic ein sehr gutes Frühstück; Personal sowohl am Check-In /-Out als auch beim Frühstück ausgesprochen Freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Parken Kostenlos auf viel zu engen Parkplätzen draußen oder gegen Bezahlung in einer recht dunklen Tiefgarage, dort sogar mit Ladesäulen.

Rigtig godt.

Blev taget godt imod da vi ankom til receptionen,og fik hjælp til at registere bilen,så vi kunne holde i p-kælderen.
Selve værelset var pænt og rent,og der lå en lille velkomst hilsen fra housekeeperen,som vi syntes var rigtig hyggeligt,så vi skrev også en tilbage da vi forlod væreslet,håber det var den samme housekeeper der så den.

Et greit rom med ALTFOR lite bad! Servanten var minimal. Hyggelig personale, godt renhold. Nydelig frokost. Sykler til utlån.
En koselig by, med kort vei til Fanø med ferge. En nydelig øy med flotte strender og koselige restauranter. 1/2 time med tog til Ribe, en kjempekoselig liten by.
