If you don't mind a small (really small) room, this hotel is located minutes away from the Central Train station, which is very convenient. If you are visiting Tivoli, this is your hotel. You can walk to the park; and the breakfast was surprisingly good, with many options, including scrambled eggs and bacon.

Spend the money and go elsewhere. Worst nights sleep we have ever had. The walls in this hotel are paper thin, you can hear absolutely everything from all sides. From peeing, to phone calls and even snoring. The rooms are tiny, pillows are so flat and there is no way the bed was a double. Only pros are heated bathroom floor and good location.

My room was well designed, even nicer than the photo online. The bed was comfy although the mattress topper would slide off abit. It was bright witb a good selection of lighting. It was a good temperature and i loved the heated bathroom floor, the bathroomwas a good size and well designed. The complimentary toiletries were lovely. There was good storage for clothes, bags et . The staff were happy to keep me topped up with coffee etc. I didnt use the mini fridge but imagine that it was idesl as a good size. The staff were so lovely, nothing too much trouble, greeted us with warm smiles and offered assistance where needed. The bag drop off storage was invaluable and much appreciated. Would return in a heartbeat

The hotel was excellent. The only comment is that when you are wanting guests to reuse towels that you have lots of hooks to hang towels and clothes. Also a couple of collapsible stands for luggage would have been useful. But the room was clean and hall amenities. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Highly remommend!!

Room was very hot even with window open 24hrs a day. Bed uncomfortable as it was not a true bed but rather a base with a removable top pad that moved easily while you slept. I thought the property was incredibly overpriced for our stay. Would not return. But convenient location to reach train/Metro.

The room and bathroom was very clean with great water pressure. Like most hotels in Europe their were no tissues to blow your nose. Found the door to the room could have been better as at reducing the noise from the hallway. To get to some rooms on 1st floor required about 4 steps. Most other 1st floor or higher floor rooms required about 15 steps up or about 10 steps down to get to the elevator. Bit hard with luggage. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Did not eat breakfast at hotel so can't comment. Easy quick walk to the central train station and a bunch of restaurants towards the Meat packing district just a few blocks away. Liked the location as it was fine and we had a room where the window opened into a central courtyard. Wifi worked well. Would stay here again

That place is super raggedy there's no real shower just the bare floors with a disgusting shower curtain I will NEVER will stay there again. The bed is super uncomfortable. Most of the front desk people have an attitude, only one girl was nice. I really regret staying there. The sheets had stains and the room was very dusty.

No matter what floor you are on, you have to carry your luggage up one floor and down another by the stairs. Rooms are small but manageable when suitcases go under the bed. Quite a bit of noise from Tivoli at night especially with the windows open because the rooms are hot.

The hotel is a simple, clean and functional, just as it looks on the photos, making it perfect for a short stay in Copenhagen. All the staff is super-friendly and helpful.
However, the largest plus of the hotel is its location; just one corner away from a metro station and another two corners to the main train station, making it super easy to arrive and move around by public transportation, which is highly recomendable due to the utterly high public parking fees.

Highly recommended:

The room was very spacious for 2 people (though be aware that the bathroom is tiny) and super clean.

The location is perfect, 15 min from the airport, 1 minute from the central station. From there you have the option to walk around to the main sightseeing places or get the metro.

Close to a lot of cafes, so we didn’t have the breakfast in the hotel.

Definitely would stay there again.

The Hotel is in a great location - easy to navigate and get to places. There are loads of places to eat and the walk into the city centre is very easy and nice. The room was nice and clean and moderate for this type of hotel. Breakfast options was standard - would have liked more pastry options but a a part from that all fine. No complaints...I stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed my time in Copenhagen.

Despite the superior room being smaller than I expected, the stay was successful in terms of location, the staff were very friendly, bike hire was very reasonable and the area so quiet!
Think we are not used to Danish prices and value for money etc but we got the hang of it. The breakfast on reflection was good value but we did not do it. Should have!

Nice hotel in Copenhagen

We enjoyed our two night stay. Copenhagen is an expensive city so it was one of the few hotels that were somewhat reasonable and clean. We purchased the breakfast and it was ok, nothing too extraordinary. The hotel is in walking distance to the train station and local restaurants and shops. We would stay again :)

Affordable Stay in Copenhagen

Clean, affordable room to share. Too small for three people even though they advertise some rooms for three. Bathrooms are TINY, almost difficult to maneuver. Very noisy area if your room is on the street, ask for a room facing in to the courtyard!! Even earplugs cannot drown out the LATE night noise of the streets! Breakfast is not included and expensive. The staff is helpful and kind.
Longer stay their sister hotel about a block away has laundry facilities. Over all the hotel is well located to the train station, walking to metro and other sites. Super clean which I appreciate. The beds are kind of a futon quality- medium on the comfortability.

I'm a returned customer so i enjoyed staying here. One thing they need to improve : offering luggage racks. Was uncomfortable moving my backpack around in order to take things out or put things back in. Everything else was good. Room was big enough for me, area is perfect for traveling around and the small fridge was perfect for cool beers. I will definitely go back .

Great location right near the main Copenhagen metro station and close to coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, shopping. Very small but cozy rooms with not a lot of space to store your suitcases, other items. Typical tiny bathroom where the shower drains right into the bathroom floor which can be frustrating (and a little gross). But all in all we had a great stay it just took some adjusting and many extra towels.

Hotel was really near to the main train station and just 2 mins from one of the lifts that go directly down to the city Metro (look for glass lift with the letter M).

Room was clean and beds were comfy. Only thing is shower and toilet area are only separated by a shower curtain and can get a bit wet.

Love the quietness of the surroundings (despite its connectivity to the city) and the beauty of the courtyard. Breakfast offerings were also tasty of a good variety.

Staff were polite and helpful. Even extended our checkout time upon request.

All in all, highly recommend as a stay in Copenhagen city central.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Ansgar. The location is super convenient, right outside the train station, which made getting around very easy. They also offer bike rentals by the hour/day, but there are also numerous bike shops nearby. There were many dining options and coffee shops within walking distance. Overall it was a good value!

Cute little place right by Central station. Lots of restaurants. cafes. 7-11 and bars around. Metro station is right there too. Excellent location.

Hotel was good but nothing exceptional. I had the single room which was small but had enough space for one person. Did not feel restricted. Staff was friendly. Did not try their breakfast. Elevator is there but need to climb stairs to get to elevator- not ADA friendly. Bathroom amenities could have been better (only body soap and hand soap). No temperature control in room. Not sure how to turn on radiators in winters. Summers didn't matter. Overall nice stay- recommend for people who want to spend most of time outside. Location is unbeatable.
